Target target red card debit

Today I am a very angry target customer. I live 2 miles from a target store and shop there all the time. I like shopping at target.

Target - what's up with the debit red cards now? What a pain in the butt!

Within 2 months of my signing up for target's (Debit) red card I was among the millions of other target customers who were on fraud alert. In addition, my bank put a hold on my bank account debit card (For my protection) until my new bank debit card was issued. And as inconvenient as that was, it was also during the christmas holidays and I didn't get the 5% discount on all those purchases. Thanks a lot!

Today (1/31/2016) I tried to use the red card at the register and was rejected twice. Confused, I paid with my bank debit card (The same one the red card is linked to) and yes, the funds were there. What's going on? I called the number on the back of the red card and had to give every type of info to verify I was me: ss#, address, phone #, driver's license #, red card #. Omg - really?! I was told my red card was cancelled and that a new one was mailed to me. Umm... What?! I didn't cancel the card. Target did, because they wanted me to have a new one with a chip in it. No courtesy letter to let me know! Which is a problem since I was not even made aware, so that I could be watching for a card - which by the way is linked to my bank account - that would be sitting in my mail box for anyone to take! Turns out the card had already been mailed to me in december, and for some reason it was returned in the mail, back to target. All this is going on, without my knowledge, and not one word from target! Nope, I had to call them - after being embarrassed at the register today. And why cancel my card? Why not do what banks do - activate the new card when it comes?

So as of today, target will be sending me a second new card, but I was told that it could take up to 3 weeks! My response, "really? Well, I guess I won't be shopping at target for at least 3 weeks then. "

At the end of the call, when I was asked if there was anything else they could do for me (Ha, ha) , I asked to be transfered to the "how's our service" survey, because I was going to let target know exactly what I thing of their service. He said he would transfer me, and surprise... He hung up on me. So I called back, went through the whole recorded bs thing again, asked again to talk to someone about target's service, and was told that their customer relations dept was not open on sunday, and that I would have to call back tomorrow.

In conclusion, I probably should have just cancel the red card. Its been more trouble then its worth. I guess target thinks they're providing me some kind of courtesy and can't be bothered with good business, like protecting their customers. Target is making it easy for fraud to happen, and inconveniencing their customers over and over again. Meanwhile, i'll be waiting at the mail box for the next 3 weeks, now that I know I have to, for my own protection.

Target wrong item

I ordered a bed spread and shams from Target.com. When I finally got the item it was a completely different color and design than what I ordered. I called Target and was told that they were sending the correct one by express mail and I would receive it in a day. I called Target back when I didn't receive my correct bed spread and then I was informed that they needed the item they sent me back before they could send me correct one. I informed them I had already went to ups store to have item returned the same day. I waited and a few days went by and still had not received the spread. I called again to maker sure they received my return and was told that they had. I ask rep while I hadn't received my correct spread yet. He informed me they will mail it and would be 14 days. I told him that was unacceptable and that they received my return in a couple of days. He told me I needed to write a complaint. As of yet I have not received the spread.

I am very dissatisfied with the way my order was handled. I have ordered from Target a thousand times and have not had this much of an issue getting correct item that I ordered. I am very disappointed with the way this incorrect item was handled.

Target order never arrived!

I purchased a coat that's was available only online. At the time I ordered there was an option for free shipping. I had to pick it up in a Target store. Later I received a message stating that my order has shipped. Few weeks passed and I received another email saying my coat is successfully delivered. But when I got to the store I was told they never received it. I contacted customer service and they promised to ship another one. But the same thing happened: told it was delivered to the store, but the store had no record of it. Called customer support again, and was told they have no idea what happened with my order and where it can possibly be. Horrible, so called customer service can't even explain why the item is totally missing! This is ridiculous! Seriously, I expected better service from Target.

Target their service is absolutely ridiculous.

I made an order on Friday, November 13. There was an opportunity getting a 25% discount for toys. I wanted to order toys for my children for Christmas. I placed some items in my cart and used a code with the 25% discount. I also had a members card with additional 5%. But the price was like the original one, because the code didn't work. Every time I try to enter that code nothing happened. So I had to call their customer service. Every time I called them I was contacted with agents who didn't understand the purpose of my call and they even could not understand or speak the language. I was on the phone for over an hour talking with their staff member and the person could not understand what I was trying to do. They said that I need to wait few more minutes, but then they just dropped the call. They never called me back. I tried to call them myself, but they just ignored my phone number. So I took my husbands phone and called again, and they finally answered. I was talking to a nice person. But I had to spend almost two hours on the phone, discussing the problem. We finally got the order placed and I got my 25% discount. I was lucky, but that site really has some serious problems. It needs to be fixed. As a test, I tried to call them again from my phone and they didn't answer. Their service is absolutely ridiculous.

Target online order, customer service

Last night I ordered two items online which I wished to be shipped. Shortly afterwards, I received an e-mail stating I had to Pick-Up the items at a Store NOWHERE NEAR my house. I Immediately called customer Service. First, NO OPTION for the problem so I just sat on the line until they transferred me to a Live Person. I could Barely until him, but he Told me my order had to be Canceled and he would Re Order the items. He cancelled, then started to Re-Order and I got Disconnected. Called Back, had Even Harder time understanding this one, and She Kept Trying to tell me WHY the Order had to be Cancelled. I Also could Barely Hear her because there was a Man talking in the Background. FINALLY got to the Point of ReOrdering the Items and VOILA! DISCONNECTED AGAIN! Called Back AGAIN, and FINALLY got a Native English Speaker. She was Very Helpful, but in Trying to Re-Order, OH, One of the ITEMS I ORDERED WAS SUDDENLY DISCONTINUED. So, I found Another Item, and She was FINALLY ABLE to get ONE Delivered and ONE for Pick Up at a Store CLOSE To Me. I THOUGHT EVERYTHING WAS FINALLY DONE. OH, NO, Later, I got ANOTHER EMAIL, That I NEEDED To CHANGE the PICKUP ITEM TO DELIVERY. So, I was FINALLY ABLE to get BOTH DELIVERED, WHICH I WANTED in the FIRST PLACE. I have NEVER, EVER Had SO MUCH TROUBLE Trying to Order TWO ITEMS ONLINE. So, I sent an Email to Target Letting them Know. I got an INSULTING FORM EMAIL Back with a BRIEF, INSINCERE Apology, and was INVITED TO VISIT TARGET AGAIN! Are you Kidding? THIS IS WHY I LOVE I LOVE AMAZON

Target electronic dept.

Our elderly parents visited the Alamo Ranch Target in San Antonio Tx to purchase a consume cellular phone. The representative explained to them that he was able to PORT over their old phone numbers (one of which they had for 42 yrs) . He contact me for our acct number and password with Verizon to do this. They spent about 2.5 hours there and was told that it was completed, that their new phones would be connect within a few hours. The next day mom's phone was connected, but dad's (the nbr of 42 yrs) was not.. the rep. had turned it on but gave him a total NEW number. I connected the store to complain to a manager (David) you could tell my his voice he truly did not care... We then contacted Consumer cellular and Verizon who explained that we had to drive back to target to purchase yet another SIM card. My partner volunteered to drive into town (nearly 30 miles each way) when she got there she asked to speak to the store manager (she did not know that I had already done this) She states that they paged David, he showed up with NO name tag on or anything showing that he was the store manager (or for that matter even worked for Target) He was unresponsive to the matter. She finally walked away in disgust. She wanted to point out the lack of customer service or the quality there of... But if he is manager, this is the reason. because work ethic filter done from management to workers. She also stated that she was so surprise by is appearance, " he looked like he had slept in his clothes, they were dirty and wrinkled" ... when she got back to the electronic department she was talking to Consumer Cellular, one of the employees was watching her like "a hawk" (apparently David had told them she was on her was back there) We believe that there was a lack of training in this department. If you are not sure of the proper procedure then DO NOT offer. We believe that there should be a NO NOTICE visit by the area management to see how this store is run and the appearance of the employees. I would also hope that you have in place a policy of the use of personnel phones, along with eating and drinking on the floor. This department bends over to a cabinet under the registers to get their drinks, food and check their phones. Would I return to this store probably NOT... David has left a bad impression for us and our family.

Target aggressive physical action taken toward customer by team manager

Target experience

My name is Richard D. Prenatt. My address is 7723 Debonaire Drive, Mentor, Ohio 44060, USA. My telephone number is [protected] (Cell number [protected]). The reason for my letter is to share with you my experience at a number of your Target stores in the Cleveland, Ohio area suburbs on July 30, 2015. My daughter will be attending college this coming fall and my wife and I have been preparing to purchase the needed items for her dorm. I was looking for a particular chair that the Target website stated was "in store" in Mentor, Ohio. I went to the store and it was not there. I talked to the manager and he could not find it either. I went home and checked your web site again. I once again found the chair in the Mayfield, Ohio store. I called the store and talked to a very pleasant young lady who actually went to the back of the store and brought the chair up to Guest services, put my name on it and said she would hold it for me. She told me to pay for it online and I would get 10% off, which I did. She apologized for the mix up in Mentor. I then drove 25 min. to the Mayfield Heights store. I stood in line for about 10 min. When it was my turn I told the young lady (Tanea, at guest services), that a chair was being held for me (right behind the counter she was at), and gave her my name, that was taped to the chair. She looked and said bluntly "there's no chair back here". I explained to her my conversation with the young lady on the phone that worked with her, and told her I already paid for it. She said "it's an online order and isn't ready for pick up". I told her that I only paid online to get the discounted price as suggested by her fellow employee, and that the chair was pulled from stock and was at guest services ready for me to pick up. She got irritated and said "it's not here! Come back later", and called for the next customer. I asked if I could speak with a manager. By now there were about 6-7 customers behind me. Tanea walked away without saying anything and was visibly mad. Next, a man named Marc came up to the counter, a team leader. I explained to him what happened. He looked behind the counter and said "it's not here". You'll have to come back after we pull it. I told him I looked in the back where the chairs are and there weren't any. I then asked him if he would check inventory and see how many chairs they had on hand. He was now visibly mad. He looked and said "we don't have any"! I said well why would you tell me to come back if you don't have any in inventory? Additionally, I already paid for the chair. What do I do about that? He said, "ok! I'll go back and check". I, my father who is 87 years old with Leukemia and breathing problems, along with now about 8-9 people in line waited. After ten minutes I looked and Marc was outside pushing carts into the store. I came up to him and asked if he had any idea how long it might take to look for a chair. He, raised his voice to me and said, "you'll have to wait. You're not my only customer". I looked around at people and everyone was staring at us. I was embarrassed and humiliated. People could hear what was going on, and many shaking their heads in disbelief and shrugging their shoulders. My dad told Marc to keep his voice down. Marc looked at my father and said, "what did you say"? My father repeated himself. Marc said "I could throw you out of here right now". My father said for what, we didn't do anything". Marc said you're being disruptive. My father got mad and and I asked him to please go out into the car, which he did...reluctantly. He had to walk there by himself because Marc was still now, yelling at me. He called security, and told them I should also be escorted out. Two young men came to the front of the store; Johnny with asset protection, and another young security guard. Johnny immediately took charge of the situation as Marc walked away. He asked me if I would explain what happened. Again, this is now with rows of people who were standing in lines waiting to check out watched. I don't know the last time I was so embarrassed. I explained in detail what had happened, adding that I had not raised my voice, been disrespectful nor did anything to offend Marc. People behind us confirmed that. Johnny apologized
And said that this was not a good representation of Target and their policies. He then said that he would go in the back and check to see if he could locate my chair. The young security guard also apologized and left. Both of these men were understanding polite and professional. Johnny didn't return but sent a young man named Chris (another team leader) to assist me. They didn't have the chair at the Mayfield Hts. store, and had no idea what happened to the one they were holding for me. In any event Chris called the Cleveland Heights store and they checked and said they had four chairs. I specified dark gray as the color I wanted. They confirmed they had it and would hold it. I was given directions and sent on my way. Well, the directions were wrong. I drove an hour and a half lost. When I finally found the store, they had the wrong color, and we're out of grey. They suggested going to two stores that were close to two hours away. My father and I left the store hungry, tired and frustrated. We had started at 2pm in the afternoon and it was now 8:30pm. On our way home we stopped at the Willoughby, Ohio store (just because we were driving right by it). We fond the chair and matching ottoman there. However, on your website it said there were none in stock.

I have run my own business for most of my working career. I hold management responsible for their employees. Maybe Marc just had a bad day and ordinarily is a good man, although no one I talked to would comment on that. But, the way my father and I were treated was inexcusable, embarrassing, humiliating and undeserved. As a former business owner I know that I would want to know if my employees were treating customers with hostility and disrespect. That is the reason for my letter to you. My desire was to send this letter to your ethics dept. However, I could not locate an email address for them.

Sincerely, Richard D. Prenatt

Target port saint lucie target pharmacy

The Port Saint Lucie Target Pharmacy manager Tricia Wurster is very rude and has an attitude when asked multiple questions about prescriptions. Well I'm sorry but not all of us know everything about prescription meds! She is annoyed by the questions and sarcastic with her answers. My mother and I even over heard her mocking a customer who had a speech impediment, how cruel can a person be. I am really turned off by her actions and I have complained to Target but it seems nothing has changed. Due to that we will be moving our business to another pharmacy.

Target manager valerie

My 17 year old daughter was in the restroom and heard a lady come into the restroom with her toddler daughter screaming and yelling at the daughter. The lady told her daughter that if she didn't go to the bathroom she was going to kill her. She continued screaming at the toddler who was screaming and crying. She told her daughter she was going to put the daughter's head in the toilet if she didn't go to the bathroom.
The lady screamed again at her daughter that if she "peed her pants in the store she was going to rub her nose in it!" My daughter was extremely shaken and crying end reported it to the manager- Valerie who went into the bathroom. My daughter called me from her cell phone immediately after reporting it to the manager and I called the manager to make sure she called the police and reported the child abuse. Valerie told me she couldn't call the police because if Target's Corporate headquarters regulations as she didn't witness the abuse herself. I asked if she could give me a description of the lady and her daughter and she said she was not allowed to do that either ! I am a retired Social Worker with DSHS. My daughter left the bathroom and did not see tge lady and her daughter come out. I am appalled that your corporation would not report this! I know there is a security camera right outside the restroom that you could have looked at. I also know reporting suspected child abuse us not investigating child abuse and your corporation would not be sued by the customer if the police and/or Child Protective Services investigated this lady. If this is how this lady treats her child in public imagine what happens to this child in private! Each year hundreds if not thousands of children die fro. child abuse each year. The most vulnerable children are under 5 who are not in school or daycare where teachers and staff are mandatory reporters. It is a public health issue and I can't believe Target would have a corporate policy that prevents a manager from reporting this crime. Target is everywhere and I am so proud of how your corporation supports schools and communities. I don't understand why you wouldn't want to encourage reporting of child abuse. Make a press release of it and you could encourage other large corporations to follow this policy. It is probably too late for this little girl but I would like to help write a new corporate policy for reporting child abuse.

Please call me at [protected] as soon as possible. My name is Linda Cook.

Target unethical treatment

Ive bee at t-555 12+ years and cant believe that headquarters is blind to all the threats and huge firings of employees that have pensions and retirement. Temps will fill the building at $10./hr when most people there for 2 years or more make over $20/hr. You will be walked out sooner than later. Now all the mechanics rolling stock equipment is being done inhouse at the woodland location.
24 year olds are in control of your mental stability and job. Big attitudes cant wait until the GL's have to work and be treated like they treat people. I can see why there blind because thise cuts equal millions pyramid wide. Good luck

Target damaged furniture

I ordered a dresser from Target online for my son's nursery. The dresser was damaged when I received it. I called Target online, and they ordered me a replacement dresser and had the damaged dresser picked back up. I teceived the replacement dresser and it was damaged as well! I am 8 months pregnant and my son is due in 4weeks! I called Target online again, explained to them that this was the second damaged dresser I received. I was told theu could send me another replacement but there was not guarantee that the 3rd replacement dresser wouldn't be damaged. I told the supervisor I just wanted a refund. He then told me it would be 7-10days before my momey was credited back to my back account. Target didn't wait that long before they took the money out. I told him I was not going to wait that long. I needed the money back so I could get another dresser and my son was due to be here in 4weeks or less. The supervisor was not helpful so I asked to speak with a manager. The manager got on the phone and said the same thing but did tell me since I was not getting another replacement dresser, I could take the dresser to my local store and get an instant refund. Me and my husband took the dresser to our local store with the packing slip. Target could not find product in their system and asked me if the item was really their product! Really?! Even though the packing slip said Target online. They could'nt get item to pull up so the computer gave an 800 number for customer service to call. The lady was told item could not be returned to the store even though the manager from Target online told me it could be. I asked to speak with the store manager and she was not helpful at all. She told me the best she could do would be to give me a gift card! What am I suppose to do with a gift card? They don't have the product in the store. I told no and left the store. I got phone number to Target Corporate to make a complaint. Spoke with them and was told to go back to the store and put manager on the phone so that is what I did. After the manager spoke with corporate, she was put on hold and offered to refund my money but only the amount of the dresser not the whole amount I paid which included tax. I told her no I wanted a full redund, she then me we would have to wait and see what solution corporate came up with. The manager got back on the phone and was transferred to someone else. The guy acted like he could hear her and disconnected the call. At that point I was exhausted as I said earlier I am 8months pregnant with my first child and have had a complicated pregnancy. I had to deal with this issue since I had ordered the dresser and dealt with going back and fourth for 2hrs at the store so I just took the money. I don't feel that it is right for a customer to be treated that way and will never shop/order anything from Target online again.

I have an ipod with a white screen Target Service plan refused to repair. I had a service plan and sent the ipod to be repaired but they refused to repair it stating impact damage. Come on! The ipod has sat stationary on a player doc. It has never even been jostled in a purse or pocket so how could it have impact damage? Do not waste your money on a Target Service Plan because they do not honor them.

I was at the Balcones Heights Store that is within the San Antonio Metro Area. The checker kept pushing religion on me and she was a sloppy bagger. She mixed frozen with dry--ice cream and crackers. She is too busy pushing religion to pay attention to her job. This is also a violation of my First Amendment Rights to believe in nothing if that is what I choose to do. I do not need some lunatic pushing religion on me in a store!

southhill mall target in puyallup wa. Don't shop there. It is run by a bunch of 12yr olds who don't have any life experience dealing with real people. They treat not only their employees with no respect but customers as well. It's a unpleasant place to shop. Who gives these children jobs in high places with no experience of life yet? It used to not be that way. New management is horrible. T-0342

It think it should be known across US that target scanning I'd, I did not know and they scan my I'd before I could even blink my eye, I thought I gave them my I'd to show my age as in visual proof, talk about envading privacy, I will never ever go back to target. There should be a poll or something huge in the news. Let's do a mini poll how many people knew about scanning ID in target and if they agree with them?

I ordered two games from target online on October 10th, 2010, it is now December 12, 2010. One of the games is out of stock now, even though it wasn't at the time of order. The other is in stock and they have yet to ship it. So every day I check the tracking packages feature so I can approve their stalling of delivery, but two months of waiting is ridiculous.

I just got treated like a thief at the Target at Tyrone and Park. I had:

broken item,

tag from broken item,

receipt showing purchase of broken item,

the card with which I had made the purchase,

and ID

In order to exchange the broken item for a non-broken one - they wanted surveillance video of me making the purchase. I am not kidding.

Several customers use the coupon books that they receive in their mail boxes. What drives the decision of who gets these coupon books and who does not? I have had a Target chg for many years and have never received a coupon book in the mail. It seems that it isn't zip code generated or if you have a Target credit card or not? I sure would like to be one of the recipients of these coupon books.

I do not know the number of the store in my area that I visited on Wednesday. The Pharmacist that was on duty that day May 19, 2010 does not have the professional attitude that I believe he needs to be in that position. when we come to the pharmacy we should be received with compassion not an aggressive behavior. The assistant was helpful and had the sensitivity to speak with patients that were there to have prescriptions filled.

I applied for a Target Visa, at least that is what I was told by the Store worker, and I received a regular target card. When I applied, I told the gal that the address on my DL was different then my home address. She said not a problem. Wrong! Now Corporate is asking for copies front and back of my DL, SS card, and Pay stubs. All this for a target card. It's not a AMEX card. Big mistake!

Target return policy on christmas present

I was returning a Disney mickey t shirt size 3 that was a Christmas present. It still had the front sticker displaying the size down the front but I did not have the actual receipt since it was a Christmas present.Wanted to do an even exchange for one size smaller but they refused and gave me the after Christmas price therefore I had to do the exchange plus give the difference which was $3.16.I'm sure someone is going to include a receipt with a Christmas present. This was definitely the last straw after getting included in the security scam.I will from now on shop at Walmart.

Target excessive late fees

I didn't receive statement for last two months. I got call from target that I have 109 dollar balance which was only late fees. It is total rip off to turn off paper statements and start charging late fees off of honest and poor customers. my phone # is [protected]
name jaipreet chawla. Please credit my late fees and close my account.

You need to grow up and pay your bills on time and this will not be an issue. Even if you did not receive the statement you need to know exactly how much you spend and when your bill is due. Grow up and stop making excuses. They will close your account but you are not entitled to have your late fees credited for your own mistake.

Target rejected visa debit card and check

I just had the most horrible ordeal at target. I do my shopping, go to check out and my debit visa card gets rejected so I write a check. My check gets rejected. Mind you, I have enough in my account for 100 times my purchase.in addition, I just used the debit side and visa side of my card before going to target. So I call the number for certegy, who is the company denying my card and check. Of course, they don't speak clear english. They tell me we couldn't verify your funds. At the end of the call, he tells me i've upgraded your account to vip, try again in 5-10 minutes. So, we try again, this time with the manager, who was very nice and patient. Rejected again. The manager now calls them because I whip out my cell phone, show her the account balance, verify the account number and she is shocked that my transaction was rejected! So this company, certegy won't talk to her, they want to talk to me, again. I, for the 2nd time, talk to them with the exact same result. The certegy rep response is that I need to talk to target. I'm at target with a manager! 45 minutes later, I used the debit side and it worked. Not because certegy approved it, but because it's the debit side of the card and not the visa side. And yes, I did check with my bank and they didn't reject anything. As a matter of fact, due to trying my transaction twice at target, my bank called me to make sure that I was trying to use my card to ensure that there wasn't fraudulent activity happening. Really target, my card with my other bank gets hacked in january in the target breach and now I can't use my card with a different bank because of this certegy company you have doing your check/credit verifications and you can't override their system. Haven't you lost enough customers due to your breach. Guess I won't be doing my christmas shopping or any future shopping at target!

Target unfairness

the job descriptions posted for employment only give the job seeker a vague description of what is to come.Once hired on at Target, you will be expected to work when needed, regardless of what you can. It doesn't matter if you have children, school, another job, Target wants you to put those matters aside, and be able to change your availability to suit there needs. If not..they will make your employment miserable, crappy jobs, talk behind your back, working every weekend. your lousy once a year pay raise can be anything from 5cents to .35 cents..Being there 8 years I have never received a raise of over .25 cents. Doesn't matter that you bust your a$$. this company is by far the worst retail expirence I have ever had. and I have worked retail for 23 years. Please save yourself the stress and look elsewhere. Its not worth the heartache

Target confrontational team member

A target team member (Justin) was yelling at me because I asked for help with my cartwheel app. I was in line hoping to get the discount on the items I had scaned. Justin kept saying there was nothing he can do if I wanted to purchase the items to do so otherwise get out of line. The person on the register scanned my items. Justin came to the register told the cashier to suspend my purshase justin then pulled my cart told me to go with him where he then continued to get upset with me as I kept telling him I know there is a way to help me he then gave me a 3 dollar apology cupon adding this is more than what you scanned for I just wanted to go home
