Taco John's Poor service/ bad food/ just an absolute disaster

Placed my order online through Uber eats because I am from Illinois and i don't have a vehicle. My order total was $44.56 after the use of the app total order came out to $62. I received half the food i ordered. Items that im missing are

-bacon ranch polI $3.60 -chkn bcn gua taco $2.40 -churro $2.40 -lrg Pot Ole $1.19 upcharge because i added to make it a combo. My daughters kid meal $4.67 only thing that came was the cheese quesdilla. It was absolutely disgusting. The quesdilla was hard as a rock. We didn't receive any of our sides or drinks with our combos. Plus the food we did receive was barely editable. I called to notify them. What they offered was to put my name down for a free meal. Seriously unreal no refunds available. So i lost out on my money. Safe to say my family and I are extremely disappointed. Honestly this place shouldnt even be in business.

Desired outcome: A Full Refund $44.56 plus the tax/tips i had to pay with the uber eats app $62 total

Taco John's Rewards

I literally spent years gathering points. Wen I heard of your new rewards program i was excited. It sounded like you would convert all of my punches...54 of them to be exact, to the new system at 100 points per punch. I open my app a collection days ago. Punches still there. I look today. It says they are all expired. This is utter crap. I love Taco Johns but I've spent a lit of money building those rewards. If I knew they were going to expire and not converting would have used them. There was such vague info on what was happening. Shame on you Taco Johns. Shame. This is not how I would expect a Company from my part of the world to react. I would have even understood if past punches were 50 points. But to simply remove them. Looks like Taco bell is now my choice.

Desired outcome: Give me back my points and let them expire in 6 months as your info had stated

Taco John's Shorted 2 tacos

I purchased my order in Sioux Falls located at 1804

S Sycamore. On April 27th at 5:46 in the afternoon. It wasnt busy. My sale #[protected]. Check #434. My order was shorted 2 crispy tacos. This is the second time this has happened. I didn't do anything the first time.

Taco John's All the manager at 2205 n belt want to yell at me instead of asking me to do something

They make a big sense when I try to fill the daily work area they make me do dishes all the time the won’t let me work by myself they always have to inturup me when I’m work the head boss yells at me don’t yell at nobody esle my names Tekaila Williams they won’t let me do anything or work in some places they make me wonder what to do and they make a big deal when I say well I’m trying to do my job and the keep stopping me you can review the Carmela’s since I first started dec 1 2021 it been going on since I started and I’m tried of it but I like my job an want to stay but they will talk around me about me and then yell at me when all I’m trying to do is work at my job that’s it don’t want no problems with the company or the workers

Taco John's Bug In water cup

After drinking most of the water from a cup. I noticed a black bug floating at bottom. Disgusting. I'm sick to my stomach now. I took a pic and a video.

Desired outcome: Be cleaner when making drinks and food. I want a full refund and something for my pain and suffering.

Taco John's emailed me offering 1 free large drink. Saying they had to clean the hoses because of the item was a foreign matter in cup. Not a bug. Thanks but I don't want to go back just for a drink.

Taco John's Wrongfully fired

I was let go tonight over Randy Duggar janela all of them sitting there saying they want to quit because I'm working there so the reason why I got fired is because they were spreading these lies they pretty much told if I was still there there quitting so I got terminated just to make other people happy because I have had differences with Randy Duggar he has made threatening comments to me Eli was high at work one day and didn't know how he got home he admitted to that they've all still got their job I was the only one wrongfully fired and I would like somebody to take care of them for the simple reason is they take it to general Manager Roxy and she tries to keep the peace but the only way to do it was to fire me to make them happy and they already made the statement they're friends with Connie so nothing's going else is going to happen and I was wrongfully terminated I would like somebody to call me back not Roxy not none of them that works at the Newton store and I will I want somebody else to resolve this matter about them and I have the proof that he is slandered my name and my wife all because he cannot get his other little friends up here at the time

Desired outcome: I either want my job back or I want to be paid for being fired for the simple reason is I did not deserve it

Taco John's To go order was incomplete

I went inside and ordered 4 tacos with pico sauce to go. I made sure the person takeing the order understood i wanted 4 pico sauce with my order. When I got home there was no pico sauce. The pico is why i go to Taco Jhons insted of the two other chain Mexican restaurants in town.

Taco John's Employees, food, price

Yes I was at Taco Bell on January 22nd and I was supposed to get a free combo meal because I downloaded the app which the lady did not ring it up at the right price ordered two bean burritos to a large potato Oles and it came to $26 and your employees are very rude and I would the food is cold and nasty it was a very bad experience and we go to if you guys a lot so is this cuz you could be resolved. Greatly appreciated my total was $26 and I only ordered two large potato lays two bean burritos two tacos that was supposed to get a free combo which I didn't I still have the receipt if you would like me to send you a cam copy thank you for your time and patience I appreciate it my name is Cindy record my phone number is [protected]

Taco John's Quality of food and employee

They were out of beef and chicken (althought they had the fried chicken) I ordered the chicken tacos and asked what was on it. They kid taking the order not only was quiet he was also mumbling. And my husband ordered the taco salad and asked for fried chicken because that was the only meat they had. Got to the window and asked the kid what kinda sauce was on the tacos to which he replied "I don't know" and we asked if we could get whatever sauce it was on the side. We get home and my chicken tacos had some kind of spicy sauce on it which is why I asked what was on the tacos because I cannot have anything spicy. Therefore I couldn't eat either tacos. My potato oles were far from seasoned. My husband's taco salad had two strips of fried chicken on it. One of which wasn't cooked and the other barely had meat as it was extremely thin. His Sierra mist was just soda water and my raspberry iced tea was extremely watered down yea. And we didn't even receive a single napkin. And upon looking at my receipt I noticed we were charged for the fried chicken for the taco salad. Now I understand fried chicken doesn't usually come on a taco salad but you would think you wouldn't be charged extra for it if they're completely out of any other meat that normally comes with the taco salad. I would have much rather spent the $20 I wasted at taco johns at taco bell.

Also the kid who was at the window, I'm sure he's a teenager and this is his first job, however they weren't busy and weren't short staffed. And professional and human decency is not hard to do. It's not hard to fake a smile and fake a customer service voice.

Desired outcome: I would really appreciate a refund or something. I would say I'd take coupons for desert however Im very skeptical of any food from taco johns

Taco John's Missing item I ordered and rude staff

I ordered a 5 piece fried chicken and other food. I got to the window and seen the receipt price and I said something to the workers. They laughed and said it just changed prices. So I told them that their sign in the drive through atill said 4.99 instead of the 6.49 they charged me. They got the manager after I told them it was not okay to laugh at a customer and tell them it just changed. I wanted it for what the sign said. The manager came over and got rude asking what I wanted. I told them I wanted the price that is advertised. She gave me the money and said have a good night really rude and smart. I get home and didn't even get the chicken I paid for. I will never go back there again with that rude staff!

Desired outcome: I want to have my food I ordered or money back.

Seems like all the franchises of taco John are all the same corporate says they can’t make the franchise call you back or take care of the problem you figure since it’s under their logo they would do something it’s ok I see now 145 unresolved complaints they don’t care about the few who get screwed over as long as other keep spending money right

Taco John's Incorrect order

I ran to the new taco johns on 26th and dynamite in Sioux falls sd. I ordered my super nachos with no guacamole and extra nacho cheese and it came with a load of guacamole and barely any nacho cheese. I could not run back into town when I noticed it because I take care of my mom who just got out of the hospital so it was a huge waste of my time and money and the food was crap!

Taco John's Missing food and will not answer phone

Our order was missing half of it and tried to call several times and no answer they are open 24 hrs I didn't get to eat and neither did my guest that are staying with me for the holidays I am very disappointed because I also work in this type of restaurant and I don't see how u can miss so much at one time and your prices are high enough to where I paid for service I didn't receive

This is the second time I have went through drive thru and asked for fresh potatoe ole and I've got stale ones. The lady even told me they were fresh and they were not.

Taco John's Extra charges

I do not eat meat so I get beans in my tacos instead of beef/chicken. I am charged money to replace meat for beans. I have never been charged to substitute beans, anywhere, ever. I find that to be very ridiculous and won't be returning. I like your food but find that to be quite greedy.

I just tried to send the complaint and it told me it was too short and wouldn't get seen. So, I'm now trying to add more nonsense words to make this long enough to get some attention. This is silly.
Let's see if it works now.

Desired outcome: Not to be up charged for beans.

Taco John's Items missing in order

I drove 15 minutes home with my food to find out that they didn't even put my large potato oles in there that I paid for. I'm pretty sure that every single time I go to this location, they forget something.

Taco John's Sanitation

1007 West 2N St Grand Island Nebraska.
Went to get food, no one was wearing gloves, touching tortillas they were putting on hot plate and preparing it. They need to use sanitation when preparing food. Someone could get sick from them not wearing gloves and who knows if they were washing their hands! I did pay for food but didn't eat it…. This place needs help
I will not be back to this location.

Desired outcome: Sanitation course and training! Also, watch cameras to make sure they are doing their job properly….

Taco John's Speed

I had ordered a Number 3 Medium with drink at 13:08 on 7/2/2022 in Newcastle Wyoming. I finally got my food at 13:25 that's almost 20 minutes waiting on my food. That isn't fast food. They said the food would be out in a few minutes. At one point no food was being called out for almost 10 minutes. It seemed like they all simply all took a breather and stopped making food? I know it wasn't the case but it seemed weird for food to not be coming out just being ordered.

Taco John's Refund of my $21.62

This was by far the worst fast food experience in my life. First: 5 of 12 items were not in the bags I was given in drive through. The dining room is not open due to covid so I needed to go back through the drive through. I let the guy know through the intercom and he told me he would talk to me at the window. I waited my turn again behind 4 cars to get back to the window. Second:when I got to the window and let the guy know the items that were missing he told his supervisor desiree and she said she wanted all the bags back inside the store so she could go through them to verify the items were missing! I was blatantly insulted. Now, the food that we could've been eating is getting cold in the store. The food was taken around the corner and out of my line of sight. The drive thru guy brought a bag back to the window and I told him that I wasn't going to accept the food initially given to me because it would now be cold. He told desiree and she said "well i'm not making you new food cause it's partially eaten." I said to her that it isn't right to expect us to eat food that they took back into the store, out of my line of vision, allow it to get cold and then proceed to try and issue it like it's going to be acceptable food. I asked her to remake the items that were partially eaten and she refused. So I asked for a refund of the 21.62 cents that was paid and she refused to issue that too. I let them know that I wasn't moving from the window until I either had new food or a credit for the purchase. She said she wouldn't do either and she left the food in the bag at the window. She told me I could sit there as long as I wanted. So I did. Keep in mind, i've videotaped the entire experience from the moment I got to the window the 2nd time. Lastly: west fargo law enforcement arrived, 3 patrol cars. I explained the situation, showed them my receipt then they watched the video. After viewing the video (which the drive through guy even says he's sorry that his manager is acting like this and can't believe she won't make fresh food for us), they felt I should get my money returned and they went into the store to talk to desiree and she told them absolutely no, they were not refunding my money nor were they making me food. She also said that if I return to their store, they'll sue me for tresspassing. The law enforcement officers suggested I contact corporate and inform them about this situation and the video. Armed with the video of multiple employees treating a customer poorly about them making a mistake and missing the following items from my order or incorrectly preparing the item; large potatoe ole, mexican donut bites, 1 bean burrito minus onions (the aforementioned were missing entirely from the order) and a soft shell taco minus lettuce was prepared with lettuce. My order was placed at 7:18pm and I sat in the drive through window for 14 minutes. I stand firm on principle and this was so bad that after law enforcement reviewed my receipt, they suggested also that I file a dispute with the credit card used for payment. They also suggested that I upload the entire video to youtube and social media outlets if I participate with any of them. This negative media surrounding your corporation is very unfortunate. Our family of 5 boys, my husband and I eat at the 32nd ave store in south fargo and the center avenue store in moorhead, mn a lot - but after this situation, and being threatened of being sued for tresspassing - I don't know if we will ever eat there again!
