Super 8 Lost reservation (one week reservation)

I was going to stay one week at a motel on September 20 2022; even I arrived at the motel they lost the reservation! They still tried charging my card (thank God it didn't pull off 569.00 for a lost reservation. Still I'm upset because me and my wife look forward to our week vacation away from work! Not only did it cause is to separate it caused a lot of problems with is schedules. I've complained to a guy named Randy who introduced me to the manager (theresea)? Little did we know she didn't want to take care of me and my wife... She kept on blaming upper management and the computer system for it. I told her how devastating it was for them to lose it! They didn't care or have any remorse for us! And she's really not that friendly! My name is Mike Eisner and I'm not scared to say that I've read almost ruined because of they're computer system!

Desired outcome: What would be nice is after 4 months of no response( and I got responded to before New Year's finally)!!! Almost 4 months later... Would be a 1 night stay in a king sized bed room... That's it...

Super 8 Stay

I booked a room on hold while driving from Pennsylvania. Upon arriving the area looked dirty. My sister and I checked in and paid for services. Once we got in the room it smelled horribly of smoke and there were cigarettes holes in the comforter. The bathroom was filthy. Immediately we went downstairs and asked for a refund as we didn’t want to stay. (I booked a room that same evening at a hotel farther away. ) the receptionist refused and said I don’t give out refunds.

We never stayed there! The place was filthy and disgusting.

I requested a refund and was refused. I never stayed there.

I would appreciate help in this matter. Immediately I called my credit card company and called for dispute. The super 8 will not give me the money back. Again; I never stayed there

Super 8 Non refundable deposit

Super 8 claims I smoked in their room. I do not smoke. There is no way of defending myself from this false claim. They charged me $200. Bad motel stealing from a customer is wrong. How do they prove I smoked in the room? The staff there smokes so it can't be because the smell smoke. And why no email address and working complaint phone number? Seems like they are trying to hide from shady business scamming. They should be ashamed of these practices and the hotel it's self.

Desired outcome: Repay me $200 and never do that again.

Super 8 Unauthorized credit card charges

Hi.

On May 12 I had a paid reservation with Booking.com ([protected]) at the Super8 Jamaica NY Hotel (room 109), but the next day I was surprised that my credit card (ending 9809) had been charged $100.06. The claim was made and the May 24 they made the return of the money. They had double booking.

But on June 12, they charged me the same amount from the card again from the same day, May 12.

I made the claim again but I have not had a response despite the fact that I sent them my account statement and an email indicating what happened.

Super 8 Hotel stay

My sister and I and my three service dogs checked into this super 8 July 29, 2022 we are still here until August 11, 2022 to the tune of $1100. Upon checking in Erin was great very efficient, got us into room 101 I am handicapped and can not do stairs.

When we moved into the room we noticed the sink is a very slow drain one, the room had a musky mildew smell to it but most do these days. The speakers on the tv only works for 10 minutes before they go out. My biggest concern was the fact the door to the room couldn’t be locked, the deadbolt was broken wouldn’t fully engage all anyone had to do was push the door and it would come open at night I had to barricade the door. I was not given a handicap room, there were no handrails on the tub no non skid strips in the tub so I wouldn’t slip and fall, because the room was standard and not handicapped I could not move around the room in my wheelchair.

I go to let Erin know these things and she is on the phone with guest in room 118 and tells them that the TVs and phones barely work here she would try and find them a tv. No one had on name tags hardly anyone wears them here. July 31 I was in the laundry ice room getting ice and overhear the older white woman and young black lady from the house cleaning staff are in the room cleaning the machines. The older white woman tells the black woman she loves working here because she gets to go through the peoples rooms and see what all they have. I’ve had the do not disturb sign on every since.

We have had to put up with loud kids running up and down the halls, hitting our door just make our dogs bark, loud noises upstairs all hours of day and night, August 7, 2022 the kids running up and down the hall just open my door. All my dogs wear diapers so no accidents on the floor.

August 4, 2022 the washing machine wasn’t working, August 5, 2022 someone put an out of order sign on it. On August 6, 2022 we asked the front desk staff when the washer would be fixed she laughed and said I didn’t know it was broken. I have had to ask the cleaning staff 4 times during my stay now for the plunger because the toilet rarely flushes.

August 8, 2022 Brenda the office manager came to my door states someone has complained about our room and it smelled. Then states you haven’t allowed housekeeping in for 10 days I have to come in and look at the room. Let her in and explain all that’s wrong in the room to include the door not locking, she didn’t care I explained the diapers are in a diaper bag by the door but the washing machine isn’t working so we can’t wash them. She carry’s on about it’s being fixed she comes in I am finally able to get her out of the room, totally ignored the complaints I had. I asked her 4 times to use her vacuum and each time she told no, each time she would say only her cleaning staff can vacuum the room.

August 9 I’m working on the phone with a client and she is knocking on the door again this time to tell me the washing machine is fixed I said ok as soon as I’m off work I’ll wash them and I shut the door. Then she starts blowing up my phone.

After all of this harassment from Brenda I’ve had enough and I reach out to the corporate offices of Wyndham and file a complaint with the CEO Geoff Ballotti. I spoke with Marsha from his executive team who tells me while the hotel is under their umbrella they have no control over what they do because it’s owned by Sathiskumar Chinnakonda [protected].

We go to train dogs August 9, 2022 come back and magically the door is locked and the key doesn’t work, go to the front desk and Brenda says you haven’t paid for today yet they do not charge your card until you check out and I don’t for another 3 days. End up having to call Marsha back at the corporate office who explains she can’t force her to open the door and allow me to get my items but she would call Brenda and ask her nicely to let us in and that if she doesn’t just call the police and they will let us in.

Brenda let’s us in we pack up our stuff, clean the entire room before leaving. Brenda is a very large woman she kept coming to the door and my CAR trying to intimate us to make us leave faster. I reached out to the owner and he tells me his hotel isn’t the Marriot!

Desired outcome: cover the extra charges for two days at new hotel, price of tv, vacuum, IPAD and home pod that was stolen by Her staff or herself

Super 8 Hotel Accounting and Safety

Card locked for fraud activity 3 times in 1 week while staying. Reported to front desk twice with no action taken. Charged in advance for 1 week stay in full while on site, with an additional incidental charge. Resulting in overdrawn account. Previous 2 weeks stay paid in full without issue from the bank, visited the bank 3 times in 2 weeks due the the locking of the account.

Questionable employment due to staff turnover.

Car was broken into and back door left open

3 men standing in the parking lot drinking beer bottles - loitering and trespassing

Nothing in car to steal however men had a way to unlock the electronic locks

Told front desk staff following and there was little to no acknowledgement, advised customer to phone the police themselves.

Desired outcome: Review of bank accounting measures. Review of skills of staff at hotel related to hotel authorization of charges. Review of hotel procedure related to customer safety

Super 8 super 8 motel York Pa

this is a very filthy, disgusting, and very scary motel. We were harassed, threatened and had to call police. The " LIVE IN" residents were screaming,yelling,,running up and down halls and banging on our door. when we asked them to SHUT UP at 11 pm finally, we got threats, called front desk, and was Laughed at, and she said 911 and hung up on me. Dangerously filthy property. police had to help us leave! also the first room we were given had a damn occupant in it! we walked in on them! i was supposed to have a king bed. no, it was downgraded to a filthy filthy room. couldn't even use bedding! had to end trip and head 4 hours away at 12am! also police and fire are called there almost daily! this is a welfare ridden motel w a lot of live in crazies

Desired outcome: I would like them to be shut down and seeing we only slept there for 2 hours I feel I deserve a full refund!!! not police report

Found motel on website..Never mentioned that they had live in occupants, who acted like wild maniacs..We were abruptly awaken at 1030 at night, after a long day of travel,mind you! To children pounding on our doors,women screaming..and loud loud behavior.when I asked them to SHUT up..the employee of said motel actually threatened to kill me and beat the [censored] out of me..Im a women..also earlier that day he was in the parking lot acting crazy and saying he would kill people.we have to call the cops so we could flee the motel safely..from threats of violence.im discussed anyone recommended this for travelers..it's bug ,mold, and smoke infested

You people need to be closed down these motels are full of live in druggies and criminals! they are filthy! they give rooms that are occupied! do not bother w a reservation!

definitely not treated as paying customers never stay in these bug drug infested properties, they make alot of money off of americans and never upgrade [censored]

Super 8 Hotel

Stayed at Super 8 on Madison Wisconsin's east side. Room was dirty, and stank. I witnessed a drug deal going on in the Parking lot. I cancelled. They saind they can only credit me for one night. I did not stay there at all. I booked for two nights. I did not say anything about the drug dealing to the front desk as there was other people in the lobby and I did not want to frighten them. The pool appreared to not have been cleaned in months. The front desk confirmed this and said they deffinelty would not go in. Looking at the room I can see why.

Desired outcome: I would like the full credit for the two night stay.

Super 8 Hotel gave reserved rooms away to another customer(s)

I made reservations (#[protected] & #[protected]) at the Super 8 hotel at Red Lake Ontario on Saturday January 15, 2022 for two rooms with 2 queen size beds in each room to accommodate my party traveling to Red Lake, ON for arrival on June 3, 2022. Upon arriving as scheduled, the manager on duty informed me that the two rooms I had reserved were "accidently" given to another party, but they had two other rooms that had a single queen bed and a pull out sofa sleeper for my party. It was very apparent to me and my party that the manager had "developed" his excuse in advance of our arrival and was trying to inform us of how lucky we were to still get two rooms. We did not receive the two rooms with the two queen size beds that I had reserved well in advance to accommodate my party that includes 4 individuals over 60 years of age that needed a good quality bed to sleep on, which is not a sofa sleeper! I asked the manager to reimburse me for some of the cost already paid, but he responded that since I had paid in advance he could not accommodate my request. My party regularly travels to Red Lake, ON for our fishing trip and have enjoyed staying at this Super 8 hotel in the past, but we will now be considering other accommodations in the future given this experience.

Desired outcome: I'm requesting that Super 8 reprimand this manager for his actions and for Super 8 corporation to partially compensate me for loss of "guaranteed" room reservations that totaled $342.62 USD for the two rooms.

Super 8 Worst place I have ever stayed.

Me and my family stayed at a location in Little Rock, AR on May 31, 2022. When we walked in our room all that could be smelled was Marijuana. The locks on the door were broke so I tried to move rooms and was told we couldn’t. No tv channels. Only 1 electrical outlet worked in the whole room. The pool was dry. The whole area was dirty. There is no way that the building is up to fire code. Multiple fire extinguisher cabinets had been busted open with the fire extinguisher gone. The fire alarm pulls had also been painted over.

I made a reservation for July 28- Aug 1 to Super 8 in Norman Ok. The next day I found out we were not going to be able to make the trip and cancelled the reservation. My credit card was charged for the room any way. This seems unfair to me. Neve

Super 8 Unsafe Dirty Stay Away!

We stayed 3/16-3/17. Too expensive. There was a homeless man passed out in parking lot being kicked by someone else. Potholes throughout parking lot. Room was dirty and old. Noise all night long in hallway. Exterior security doors didn’t lock. No breakfast. Rooms have no carpet so the person above us woke us at 4am stomping in their room. Never again.

Desired outcome: I’d love a refund. Corporate needs to address this property!

Super 8 Super 8 hotel in St Petersburg FL on 34th Ave

My husband and I used our rewards points to visit St Petersburg, FL. We haven't had much time for vacations during the pandemic. We booked a room at the Super 8 Hotel 5005A 34th St N, St. Petersburg, FL, 33714, US. We had booked a room with a king sized bed and a handicapped shower. The hotel told us that wasn't available but they could give us a full sized bed. When we asked why they couldn't give us what was promised we were told that they didn't have to give us what Wyndham promised. We finally got a king room but it was only 2 ft away from the maids main room and we got to hear the carts coming and going with laundry carts. As we entered the room smelled heavily of bleach. There was no adornments in the room. There were two smallish drawers but no place to hang your clothes.

There was an air conditioner in the room that had a newer unit. The floor around it had been dug out from the old unit and was an open pit in which roaches came and went. The cords from the air conditioner were exposed and a fall risk. The bathroom had a sink with a table vanity. Under the sink the wall had been painted over. But whatever it was they were trying to hide bled through the paint.

Then came the night. We went to sleep but I later had to go to the bathroom. As I got back into bed I found a roach on my husband's pillow heading to his face. I found roaches everywhere. The front office felt like we were lying to get out of paying our bill. We were using rewards points and we weren't paying to begin with. The front office said they had no idea what Wyndham promises and they didn't have to honor their promises.

I'm going to contact the Health Department next.

Desired outcome: An apology or a return of points.

Super 8 Bedbugs in bed

We stopped at the Super 8 motel at Williams, AZ.

Hotel checked into on 12/19/21 and checked out on 12/20/21

When we checked into room 113, we visually inspect and even use a black light flashlight that we use when checking into any hotels. Upon a visual inspection found a few small hard black dots on the sheet. Thought at first it was something from our pocket. When lifting the mattress, found a few smears. Then, also saw three LIVE bedbugs. Squished them and they all had blood in them. We went to the desk clerk and stated we needed to change rooms. We were told that since there was another bed in the room we could use that one instead. We said no, only another room would do. We then checked into room 110 down the hall. In visually inspecting and using the flashlight, we brought our items into the room. At least this room had no bedbugs. It was a room that you had to use the pen to turn on the heat as the button for the heater was missing. It was uncomfortable trying to sleep as we worried that there might be bugs around. The clerk stated that he was not the owner, just managed the place. And, when there are bedbugs found that they bomb the room. This was our first time staying in a Super 8 by Wyndham and it DEFINITELY will be our last. We were not even offered a refund from either the hotel or the chain itself.

We have sent complaints regarding this hotel to TripAdvisor and Pissed Consumer without ANY reply from Super 8 or Wynham.

At least we received a phone call from the County Health Department to notify us that it is a transient town where people come to see the Grand Canyon. And that the hotel would be professionally debugged.

Desired outcome: If not a full refund, at least a partial. Plus the original receipt that was NEVER received. The clerk stated that the receipt was emailed but we NEVER gave them the email address.

Super 8 Room charges

We stayed one night. From the beginning was a bad choice of motels. From walking in the front door most things needed to be fixed. Was overcharged on my bill. They told me they weee going to cancel reservation and redo. Now have been charged for 3 rooms. The manager keeps telling it was a past employee. I would just like my money back. Manager tries to help but is just not capable to figure it out. As we stayed there the past employer had a friend there and he tore around in the parking lot with a very loud pick up and then they would stand outside under our rooms and the smell of pot was very strong. So no sleep. Should have just stayed in our car.

Booked online. When we got to motel they told us they would cancel this reservation and give us the 2 rooms at a discounted rate. Unfornatunaley they did not get it taken off and then also charged us again for the rooms at the discounted rate. I need to get amount released, so I am not charged 2 times. Please give the Super 8 of Carter Lake a call and they will help you straighten out this mess. The number is [protected] and ask to talk to Tammy the manager. I appreciate your help.

Super 8 Super 8 motel on arsenal road in York, PA

I stayed in the Super 8 on Arsenal road in York, PA. this past Thursday Night and have never been so disgusted with a room in my life as I was with what I stayed in. No curtains. a Blanket over the window. No where to hang clothes whatsoever! Places where shelves used to be. Hole in the bathroom door. light fixtures lose and hanging, TV remote didn't work. The room wasn't dirty it was NASTY! I've stayed in this location quite a few times over the last 18 years. This place now looks like a Crackhead Inn! Contacted the Super 8 complaint dept about canceling my reservation for 3 nights the first weekend in Feb. Oh, you opted for the discount for paying in advance. That can't be canceled. I had no idea that the place had become a complete dump! so No help from Wyndham Hotels at all! I guess I take that as either stay there or forfeit your Money and stay elsewhere. Comp Breakfast? I saw cold cereal only. went down the first time at 610am, door locked, went back at 630am and open, but an empty coffee urn. went back again at 720am and still an empty coffee urn. So, packed out and loaded up to leave. Went in to check out and the girl behind the counter is too busy on her cell phone to even acknowledge me. Seeing I didn't speak whatever language she was speaking I got my receipt and left. I am at this point. when I contact the hotel directly if they don't cancel my upcoming reservation I will start posting photo's of how NASTY the room was on their Super 8 and Wyndham's social media pages and anywhere I can about this place and to avoid it. With many people freaking out over Covid and how clean things should be. I think the Health Department could shut this place down! Super 8 should jerk their franchise!

Desired outcome: to have my Feb 3-4-5 reservation at this dump canceled and my money refunded

Super 8 Not a fit room to stay in

I booked an overnight stay on December 19 to 20, 2021 at the Super 8 hotel in Plattsburgh New York through Priceline, We arrived at the hotel at 9:30 pm and proceeded to our room, we found it cold so turned up the heat, it never did warm up so at 3:00am decided to call the front desk to find out the phones did not work(not good if there was another kind of emergency) ! we walked down and the gentleman said yes the heating did work and we had to turn on the switch next to the ac (weird) but it did work. The next morning went to have a shower and the mold spores on the bottom of the shower curtain disgusting then looked around and there was mold throughout (scary) I think to save others from booking something like this, the hotel in question should be addressed and also to save name to a reputable hotel chain

Super 8 costormer service

Super 8 off of aeroplaza colo srgs they take your 100 deposit but theirs always an issue when time to leave i believe the staff are stealing or deposits
