Sunglass Hut International Sunglasses in need of repair

First off, I apologize, as I'm sure I'm directing this email to the wrong destination. It would be much appreciated if you could forward it to the appropriate people. I could not find a U.S. email to send this to.

I simply want to share my latest experience with Sunglass Hut. A couple years ago I purchased a pair of Prada sunglasses from Sunglass Hut. They were great... until they weren't. There was a small screw that fell out (lens) and I went to get them replaced at Sunglass Hut. Unfortunately, they couldn't, so they gave me another (less desirable, but comparably priced) pair. I got used to them and generally liked them... until I didn't. Once again, a screw came out. So, I went back to Sunglass Hut, who didn't have a screw for them. However, they told me that I could order the screw, which I did. The kind sales clerk told me that it would take 2-3 weeks and that I didn't need to call them, they would get a hold of me. Two weeks went by and I decided to call Sunglass Hut. A gentleman answered the phone and laughed, telling me that it often takes three weeks to get the order, but assured me that they would get a hold of me once the order came in. Three weeks passed, so I decided to call Sunglass Hut AGAIN. Once again, a gentleman answered the phone. This guy did his due diligence and tried to get to the bottom of the situation. He simply could not understand why a simple screw order has been taking so long. In the end, he really didn't have a good answer as to why this happened. After 30 minutes on the phone he finally decided to hand the phone off to some lady, who I assume is the store manager? She then assured me that the screw would once again be ordered and that I would be taken care of. I asked if this was going to take another three weeks and she could not assure me that it wouldn't take that long.

So here we are, now into the month of July, and I have no idea how long it will take before a simple little screw arrives at my local Sunglass Hut. I would love to have these Prada sunglasses to use for the dog days of summer, but I'm afraid I will get little use out of them due to total incompetence. Honestly, I haven't had this bad of store experience ever. Absolutely terrible. I have no trouble sharing my experience with others, to anyone that will listen. I am so frustrated. When purchasing a $300 pair of sunglasses, I would think it would be in Sunglass Hut's best interest to take care of their customers. My family has spent plenty at their store - it blows my mind that they take such a laissez faire approach to the very people that keep them afloat. Please tell me that Sunglass Hut appreciates their customers.

Sunglass Hut International Terrible customer service

I had a terrible encounter with an assistant manager at Colorado Mills. Went to the Sunglass Hut at food court by Game Stop. I asked him if can take a look at glasses. Explained to him that both glasses had smudges that won't go away. He cleaned them and still the smudges were there. He tried to tell me that it's good enough. I told him that he can see the smudges I can see on them. His response was "what do you want me to do". I asked him if he can get me some options since they are still under warranty. He started shaking n rolling his eyes. I Explain that this are expensive glasses should be just as clean as all the other glasses. His response was that maybe they are suppose to be like that. That's when I asked him for his business card or name. He refused to give me his name n told me in his words " Get the [censored] out of my store". Then Explained to him that is not good customer service. He then walked around from the counter and balled up his fists while shaking and walking toward my wife and i while telling us to" get the [censored] out of the store" in a very threatening way. Looking like he was about hit one of us.

I walked to the other Sunglass Hut store and got his name Jeff and the Manager name Bruce.

Sunglass Hut International Incorrect information on a instore customized order

On October 25th we were in Memphis TN for the weekend and went to the Bass Pro shop. While inside we went into the SunGlass Hut. While browsing the store I seen you could customize Oakley sunglasses and I decided to do it. I do want to state that the guy working the store at that time was excellent! He helped me pick the style, which was also the best fit, and got me going on designing what colors and all that so I could place my order. I paid for the order along with other glasses that my wife found in store. Left the store feeling good about the whole process and purchace I had just made. Then is all goes south from there. I received a email form SunGlass Hut telling me my order was complete and had shipped. The email provided me with purchase date and order number along with a link to track the order. I clicked the link and it took me to UPS tracking. I entered the tracking number and got a error message saying no information available. It said it could take up to 24hr for the information to be updated so I got back on the following day and tried again. Still no information available! I gave it another day and then went and tried ot again for the 3rd time, same result. That's when I sent a email to customer service at SunGlass Hut on Oct 2nd. I then got a email back from Sunglass Hut Customer service on that same day that said they typically answer emails within 2 business days. Later that night got a response from SunGlass Hut Customer Service asking me to provide them some more information about the order because they were unable to locate it. Here is when they asked me for the order number and said it starts with SGH. The order number I was given in a previous email was totally different. I was given one with the beginning letters MBP. I received another message back from SunGlass Hut Customer service telling me that they see that my order has shipped out via UPS & USPS and was provided another tracking number and was advised that if the order was not delivered by 10/7 that they could confirm my order would not be delivered. I was then told what I needed to do to get a refund. I would need to go to the nearest store location and show the email to make it a little more seamless experience. I asked if this tracking number means that my order was picked up because by this time it had been over a week since I placed the order. I then received another email from a different person from the SunGlass Hut Customer Service Team. This email told me how sorry they are for the inconvenience with my order and they are working to get my order delivered by 10/7, but if their last option to proceed with order cancellation I would receive a discount on my next purchase. I told them

i hoped that it did not get to that point but I did have a couple questions. I asked why no one could tell me where the order is, or if the order had even been made yet? None of the information I had been given was correct so I was starting to get frustrated. I replied asking why were they being so quick in telling me to cancel the order. I explained that they were customized glasses not just normal ones that are sold in the stores, so surely they wouldn't want to cancel if they had already been made for me. I told them mistakes happen and I understand that so lets figure it out and if I get them a little later then so be it. Cancellation was not a option! I then thought maybe if I speak to someone on the phone I might get better results. That was not the case! I was told by the lady on the phone that I should cancel and then got to the store I purchased them from to try and get a replacement or or request a refund. I told this lady that I purchased them in Memphis, TN and I live 5 hours from there so that wasn't doable. I also told her that it was a customized order also. So again no help there! I then receive another email from a 3rd person from the SunGlass Hut Customer Service Team. In this email i am told of how sorry they are for all of the frustration this whole process has caused me, and apologize on behalf of their brand. i am then told that for more precise information, they would ask, for me to contact the store where I made the purchase since I will receive the necessary assistance. Then he continues to tell me that my purchase was made less than 15 working buisness days ago that I am still in the manufacturing and shipping process. Here I know I was told a completely different number of days for my order to ship to me when I purchased it in the store. I sent a reply to this email expressing my thoughts on all of it and have not heard anything back since. I told them that they keep telling me to do all this stuff but the problem is I do not work for SunGlass Hut! I am the customer and I have done my part. I placed my order and I paid for my order! It is on them to finish the deal and provide me with the product that I have paid for.

Desired outcome: It is on them to finish the deal and provide me with the product that I have paid for! If cancelling customized orders is so easy for them and no big deal then it shouldn't be anything for them to let me customize another pair on them!

Sunglass Hut International Ray ban sunglasses

I bought a gift for my husband at Sunglasses and he went to the store to exchange the sunglasses to a smaller size, but the store didn't have in stock and it sent to our address. The store doesn't ask for signature when it deliveries and it was left in the hall of my building. They didn't buzz at our apartment because we were at home at the time and there is a sign on my building that is not allowed to leave boxes there.

I tracked the delivery and there was a picture of the box in the hall of my building, but when I went downstairs to get the box, the box was gone.

How can a company not ask to signature? It's an expensive item.

DON'T BUY ONLINE AT THIS STORE

Desired outcome: Please refund it or send the sunglasses that should be delivered to me and not just left in my building

Sunglass Hut International Customer Service

I was in the Ardmore, PA location March 4th, 2022 at about 12:30pm. I walked in need a few new pairs of sunglasses. I was greeted and told to place any sunglasses I’ve tried on in the tray to be sanitized. Keep in mind I am the only customer in the store at the time. I looked for a few minutes before even touching anything so the employee did not have to do extra work from me touching things I wasn’t even considering. So after I saw a pair I liked, I tried them on and then placed them in the tray to keep looking. She rushes over right away and sanitizes the sunglasses. I can understand wanting to have every option available if another customer walked in but I barely placed them down. I expressed that I was still considering them and she said “then leave them on the counter and don’t put them in the tray.” So for the next 2 pairs I tried on, I placed them on the counter right in front of me as I kept looking. I stepped a foot to the left from the sunglasses and she comes rushing over again to sanitize them and says “are you done with these?” to which I said “no I’m still deciding between those.” and her response to that was “Well don’t leave a trail of them around.” Im not sure what she wanted me to do since she had just said to leave them where I had placed them and all of this happened within 2 feet. I could understand if another customer walked in and I was across the store but I had never left the spot where I was. It’s unfortunate because I work in retail as well and have such limited days off where I can shop for myself and I had every intention of spending several hundred dollars on the Tiffany and Prada sunglasses I was looking at. If you can’t work well with people, retail is unfortunately not the area of work for you. If sunglass hut does not value their customers enough to train them on basic customer service then that’s an issue.

Desired outcome: A response to the treatment I received and acknowledgement that better training needs to be received for the employee.

Sunglass Hut International Customer Service in Natick Mall Location

I was treated extremely poorly by an associate at approximately 5PM today Saturday July 15, 2021, He had Ray Ban eyeglasses on and a white or grey T shirt. He was extremely rude and had a horrible uninviting attitude towards myself and my boyfriend. We both were looking at sunglasses but primarily for his son. We we're possibly going to purchase two pairs ot sunglasses. he constantly had an attitude and when we asked about a pair of Ray Ban Sunglasses listed online. He first was like ugh those are on clearance with a look of disgust and sassy attitude. He was so rude and made me feel so uncomfortable I left the store. He ended every question in an extremely rude tone and made us feel like we we're some liw life customers.

Sunglass Hut International Sales personnel - customer service

I have purchased several glasses from Sunglass Hut, my last experience was @ 8888 SW 136 ST Ste. 120, Miami, FL 33176 ( the Falls) with a Sales agent /MGR. by the name of Sofia .
I was Returning/exchanging a pair of glasses Purchased at another store (Dadeland Mall) which was shipped to my Home - She refused service telling me to go to the store I had purchased from. I explained to her that My credit card was from Her store as well as more convenient for y return/exchange.
She refused to do anything and complained about my ethnicity/ country of Origen ( insinuating that everyone from there ( Venezuela ) was problematic.

Sunglass Hut International Purchase/customer service

Bought a pair of sunglasses from the Sunglass Hut on May 9th (located in Washington Square Mall - Portland, Oregon) they cleaned them and boxed them then sent me on my way. I got home and noticed they were scratched so I returned the next day to exchange them. The young girl who sold them to me apologized for not checking them then another girl told her to not them me that and refused to exchange then because they do not sell anything scratched. I explained that they had to have missed the scatch but it was okay I'd like to just get it sorted out. She told me no exchange or refund but I could pay her $40 for a replacement pair. I was so upset I agreed she then said "too bad... we don't make these anymore" so she sent me to another location with one left in stock. Got to the other location and their display pair was also scratched. I've called customer service who referred me to ask for the location owner and sort it out with the location I bought from. I once again tried calling them only for hernto refuse to give me the owners name and tell me there was nothing they could do for me. I have now spent over $300 dollars on a pair of sunglasses that are scratched that I'm seemingly stuck with. I was sold a damaged pair and no one has been any help. I don't even know who to contact at this point since the store is being increasingly rude and irritaed with the situation and customer service is just referring me to deal with the store directly.

Sunglass Hut International misleading information

i purchased a pair of Armani sunglasses and was told if I broke them they would be repaired or replaced. when leaving the store I read the brochure and it states I would have to pay 50% of the total price for this service. I was mislead into buying these glasses as I was told I was covered and not told I would have to pay. this was the sunglasses hut in the Myer store at Chermside shopping centre . The sales girls name was Christie so I recommend to anyone not to see her or check your info in the fine print before leaving the store and do not trust the sales sharks.

Sunglass Hut International Store never open on time or someone gone with it closed

I went to the Sunglass store located in Westgate Mall Spartanburg SC today at 11am when time to open. The store did not open until 11:40 because I was waiting.

The employee there was unable to help me with the repair I needed and have ordered what I need from Ray Ban website directly but she was extremely rude.

Every time I try to go there the store has the gate down and is not open or away?! I find that ridiculous when they go to lunch or whatever they are doing to not be open during business hours!

I recently purchased Versace sunglasses as a birthday present. I only had wore them that exact day and never dropped nor witnessed any form of damage done to this item (Receipt# 1054165). They genuinely are to big for me and almost fall of my face. I had just decided to go in to the nearest location present (which is listed above). As I walked up to the Kiosk I witnessed two employees one named (Astrid) and the other I hadn't received the chance to ask for his name. For he was literally quite throughout the entire process. They both glanced at my partner and I and continued to use there cellphones. Shortly after my partner walked up and said"Hello there, I'd like to make a return", Astrid looked at us and waited then said "what's up?", My partner repeated himself then he finally answered and said "I can do that return for you right over there (and pointed and continued to do whatever was so important) after what felt like 3min he came over and immediately asked if we had the card for the item and otherwise he would not be able to follow with the return or the exchange. I told him we did of course, even though I was very confused on the fact that he hadn't even tried checking the item. Why conclude such a negative idea and with a quirky toxic femininity attitude?-_-... Secondly he opened up the glasses checked them out and cleaned them, turned around and started to look up the transaction, asked for my phone number and my name. Then asked if my name was Jordan, I said no its Aleiza he then said"oh is that your last name?"I said no that's my middle name. My name is Aleiza Jordan Lynaee Rogers. I presume that he possible got offended maybe or something that I corrected him I'm really not sure. He then stepped away from processing the return and continued to spray the sunglasses and clean them over and over and about 5 minutes went by of him just cleaning them and deeply examining them, which was confusing me once again because he had already examined them as I recently stated and was about to process a return. My partner as I were chatting in that moment about why it was taking so long to process this return. He then started to almost shake and look at us with a frown and said" unfortunately due to company polices we will are not able to return this item for there is a (quote) "blemish". With the amount of nervousness he was giving off even a child could see it was a lie. What did he do why my information? Why did he ask personal questions? There was no blemish and I had a witness that also agreed he was stating false accusations. He then said"All of our associates double check to make sure that our items are in acceptable states". This was clearly a façade to be disrespectful and he had silver tongue filled with attitude throughout this very unfortunate experience.
Here's exactly what I need to happen: 1) You need to consulate miss Hannah (561645) and make sure that she didn't mess up on her behalf because he shouldn't be saying such things due to the fact that it only makes this company look unprofessional.
2) I really don't know how your company handles employee issues but that individual deserves to be at least penalized. (Astrid)
3) I want my refund and its not up for debate on your untrained immature employees behalf. He has no right to lie and say there is anything wrong with these glasses they are absolutely the same as I purchased them about 1 month ago. Just from this amount of inconvenience I probably will never revert back to Sunglasses hut to get my merchandise. Depending on how this is handled I will possibly be reaching out to my social media platforms to ensure that this location is known for its incompatible performance.

Sunglass Hut International Returns

I ordered a pair of glasses from the sunglass hut, they are not suitable and I would like to return them, the problem is they tell you to call customer service for a return label which I did, but waited for over 45 mins and still couldn't get through, so I emailed customer care which 3 times apparently they reply within 24 hours, ive sent 3 emails and had no reply? Ive read reviews for this company and im not the only one with this problem

Sunglass Hut International customer service representative was rude and did not returned my refund on my purchase

I purchased Rayban(RB3647N) sunglasses priced 285 AUD from Sunglass hut (Australia, Melbourne -highpoint store B7491 on 9/11/19.After my purchase I saw the same brand sunglasses in the next store with 30% off (199 AUD).
I immediately approached the Sunglass hut store and informed the staff about the offer but as they need confirmation I have to go back to the other store which was under offer and asked the respective console operator to call back and let Sunglass hut shop know about this offer. Finally Sunglass hut agreed to pay back the 85 AUD to my card following the price of other store, which is good .As I was not carrying the card with me one representative assured me that I will paid if I get my card the next day .She also mentioned that I can be paid any sun glass hut store near to my suburb.

But after some time one more staff member argued with me very rudely and illogically saying that I will be only paid on the same day but not the next day .She said that if the offer changes the next day in the other store they would not be able to pay . This looked very illogically as I have already purchased the glasses on the same day and I will not be purchasing it on the next day.
Technically I purchased the glasses on 9/11/19 in Sunglass hut and the 30% offer in the other store was on 9/11/19, same day.
I donot understand why I m not eligible to be paid the refund other day .The only thing I dnt have with me was my bank debit card for refund but that does not mean I will be purchasing the glasses on the next day. I tried explaining this to her but she is very rude that she do not want to listen to me .The time of our discussion was around 4:00 pm and shop closes by 5:09 pm and I am living 60 km way from the store .How am I travelling to and fro to reach the store again with my bank card? I explained this too .. but she did not care for it.

I was so surprised to see the behaviour of the customer representative ; she is very reluctant n rude in talking and attending the customer .
I was so disappointment and left the store as I was not treated well and the explanation was very illogical.
First Lady who took my payment online without card know about the purchase process I did but still said I can be paid back the rest of the amount next day as the purchase was already done .But the other lady did not do the same ; instead she overruled her with her illogical discussion.
This is so shame on store and it's management.

I have been to many Sunglass hut stores internationally but I was treated so well and they understand customer concerns but this is a very annoying n disappointing experience. It is not always about the money but it is about how you treat your customer.In this case I can say Sunglass hut store failed to understand the situation and attending the customer.
What they agree to do was not done and they treated the customer with out any respect .

Well, I am a regular customer to Sunglass store but I lost faith n opinion on it .

Sunglass Hut International persols

Bought 2 Persols. Told doesn't come with cases. My companions are in the car waiting for me. I wasn't happy with the situation. Filled out the survey to express my disappointment. Someone called me to inform me glasses do not come with cases. That's why they gave Sunglass Hut . What happened to the cases?
The more I think about it the more unhappy I get. It doesn't feel complete like buying a car w/o mirrors. Or Nike w/o the swoosh! If can't get cases as I feel it should then I want to return them and get my debit card credited.

Sunglass Hut International return policy

On 11/09/2019 I purchased a pair of Ray Ban RB4165_55 sunglasses from the Sunglass Hut in Casuarina Shopping Center in Darwin, NT, Australia. On 18/09/2019 I attempted to take advantage of the Sunglass Hut's "Easy Return" policy. The sales consultant (119306 Bronte) told me that she could not give me a refund because my lenses were scratched. She came to this conclusion by polishing the lenses with a dry cloth.

Sunglass Hut International wrong amount of money charged to my visa

On 20th of June I bought a pair of Dolce and Gabbana sunglasses the Sunglass Hut store at the Madrid Airport. The sunglasses were 50% off but I was charged full price for them. The sales assistant was very nice, spoke excellent English and she assured me the price was 117€ after the 50% discount, but she ended up charging me the full price anyway, 235€, which I have realized once I checked my Visa invoices for past months. When I called the store to see what we can do about this, they literally just hung up on me, pretending not to understand English. None of the Customer Service I could find online was helpful, the Support for the Spanish website downright mocked me, even! This is absolutely unacceptable! Not only am I highly dissatisfied customer, but I am also a victim of a crime! I have worked in Customer Support for a much bigger company, and I know for a fact that there are things to be done about this, I cannot believe that a company this big has such poor Customer Service and Support. For shame!

Sunglass Hut International adjustment of sunglasses

I purchased a pair of Revo Converge sunglasses on October 8, 2016 at the Sunglass Hut located in trhe Summit mall in Fairlawn, Ohio. I have since taken those unglasses back to this located twice for adjustments. This past Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. I again took my sunglasses back to this location for adjustment. The two salespeople on duty at this location refused to adjust the sunglasses, saying that company policy prohibited from adjusting sunglass brands they no longer sell. This is in contridiction to the poicy on your website that states that if you bought your sunglasses from Sunglass Hut you may bring them in for adjustment to Sunglass hut. What I would like tro see happen is for my sunglasses to be adjusted. Thank you.

Sunglass Hut International service

Hello,
I just wanted to express my disapointment as a customer my experience at the pickering town center location was nothing but horrible. I was served by an accociate by the name of Alysha. The first time i went in no one was on the floor for 2min then when Alysha and another accociate came out I got no help. I asked for an opinion and really didnt get much help there no suggestions. I purchased a pair but didnt like it and brought it back for an exchange but again Alysha was there I was there for 30min she didnt try to save the sale or help me. So I ended up returning the pair. I would not recommend anyone to go to this location to anyone I know.

Sunglass Hut International glasses don't fit they were a gift to my wife

To whom it may concern, my name is David I've been a very happy satisfy customer with most of my purchases from your company up to my last purchase of two weeks ago at one of your store inside of Macy's at lakeline mall. I purchased a pair of Versace for my wife vacation trip which happened three days ago that's when I gave her the glasses just to find out they don't fit properly since we had no time to go back to the store I waited till today and I was told by your office employee that he will not take them back because I was supposed to check if they fit before leaving the store may I say it was a gift for my wife so I couldn't know if the fit was right or not so please tell me that there is something that can be done to fix this all I want is to exchange them for once that fit right your receipt says I have 90 days if am not happy with the purchase or they don't fit. Ps is very unprofessional that your employee shows up to work so high he can't even talk.
