We went to Sukhadia's at Iselin on 16th February, 2008 at 720 PM and did not want to take the buffet Dinner which was priced at $11+. Instead we ordered food from the Menu. Both our kids (age 10 and 7) were hungry. The server (he was the only one there) went into the kitchen with our order and came back to say couple of items were not available. We ordered something else asking him to bring the kids' food fast. In the meanwhile my husband got up and got us a pitcher of water and 2 extra glasses as no one was around. Imagine yourself in a Restaurant and serving yourself!!! Again he got up and got extra napkins. Our food arrived but not the kids' item. For $10.30 the main course was just a small bowlful. Knowing it was not enough we ordered some more. By the time the kids got their food it was 8.30 PM. We were in no mood to even complain to the server. Our shock knew no bounds when we got a bill for $100+ (all for just a few small bowl of main course... this was not accompanied by rice as given in the menu!!!). We did not tip the server and paid our bill and walked out in disgust promising ourself we would never visit that Restaurant again. Very poor service and quantity is very less but highly priced - may be for the decor of the place.
