Subway disgusting!! absolutely disgusting!!

Place is absolutely disgusting! As I stood waiting for my sandwich to be made I watched the lady pull a hair out of the bread she was using for my sanwhich and didn't even offer new bread, the bins for the lettuce were frost burnt on the lettuce, all the veggies looked extremely old! Never will I ever go back again to Benton harbor Michigan Walmart subway!

Subway service poor

It is 10:39 on 6/25/17 and I just left subway across from bass pro in st Charles. Sorry I did not get my receipt so I do not have a store number. The whole time we plus other customers were there only individual in the store working was on the phone. Also the lady in front of us was having issues with the coffee machine and she seemed more interested in our phone call then helping a customer out . My daughter and I tried to help with the copy machine and was not successful. I hope you're able to correct this because it was a very poor experience for us. I am sure others may not speak up but we will not be visiting the subway again . The reason is all because of the customer service that was not given. Subway service

I work at the Subway in Monongahela and the owner almost NEVER pays us on time, we don't get paid until Saturday and sometimes Sunday when we're supposed to get paid on Friday and occasionally he messes up everyone's paychecks, he tries to give us less hours then we worked, he once gave me 33 hours when I worked 36 and when I mentioned it to him he had said he'd give me another paycheck with the difference and yet he never did. The place is so unprofessional.

Subway a employee named gaby

I came in and got my daughter a 6 inch sandwich and I had told the employee to out only a tiny amount of both mayo and mustard.. she failed to do as I asked an when she did I asked her kindly if she can take a little off cause it was to much.. she scuffed and replied "your kidding right" very rudely. And I said well yea it's for a little kid. She's not gonna want all that.. so she threw the cheese to the side and flipped new cheese on it. And than decides just to make it sloppy and not even rap the sandwich up all the way . She should have never been hired. Never seen such bad customer service since I've been coming to this subway. Whoever hired her needs to re think their decision

Subway employee

I am an employee at subway in Kennedy plaza in providence ri I've been an employee with the store for over 4 years . Last June I got an email from the store owner telling me that I have received a raise and was now going to be receiving $10.00 an hour .. I get direct disposit and never checked I just trusted that a business owner would be more professional .. this June. 2017 I was promoted to shift manager and receive a letter from the owner Paul Del Toro telling me that I'm receiving a raise to $10.00 an hour i was very confused and when i talked to him about it he said there was nothing he can do to fix it and does not want compensate me for the whole year that I was not getting the correct pay . I also ask if he could just give me raise 10.50 an hour and I wouldn't make a big deal about all the back pay but he also refused .. now he is lowering my hours and I have always been such a good employee for him I'm very bothered by this please help

Subway customer service

I came into subway today around 12:45 and these employees in here were terrible. A young woman named kiara had asked her coworker for some help while she was making a sandwich. To which the elder woman replied I ain't helping you I got two minutes before I get off do it yourself. I've never been so appalled. So kiara continued to work hard as the elder woman sat there and [censor]ed about everything. Than she continued to get loud and yell in front of the customers causing a scene. I've never been so appalled in my life. This type of behavior is unacceptable. She deserves to be fired. Do not go to star mount subway!

Subway unethical

Hi. My name is Ashley Atkins. I am a former employee at Subway located in Star City, AR. I have a few things I believe corporate should be aware of. I quit my job at this business. I am not a disgruntled former employee, I'm just shocked at how many things could be so wrong in a fast food joint where people trust to be eating fresh. Listed are my concerns:

*The owner's name is Priti Patal

-Priti told us that we did not have to wear gloves while prepping food as long as we were in the back room and customers did not see us handling produce, etc., without proper hand attire. Reason to be, she does not want to continuously have to buy boxes of gloves for it will cost her more money the more boxes we go through.

-She reuses products she should not be reusing.
-Bags. When we make tea in the mornings, we have a bag that has a spout attached to it for Sweet Tea and Unsweet Tea. Both bags get rinsed out every night, but we reuse them and reuse them. They constantly smell sour. Some days, the tea tastes like black olives. We have extra bags to replace them with, but once again, we're not suppose to use them, because she does not want to spend money on supplying more.
-Meatball bag. The bag that sits inside the meatball container in the bar. Once again, gets washed at night, and reused every single day. It's stained. It has old clumps stuck to it. It's disgusting.

-I worked at the facility for a short time. Maybe a little over a month. I had two girls quit right before I did. After I decided to no longer be employed there, one of the other girls came back. Why? Priti called her and told her, "she would give her a raise if she would return to the store." This isn't the first person she has bribed with a raise.

-So speaking of money. There is a tip jar located beside the register in this store. What I want to be highly noted about this complaint, because this has to be my favorite of them all, we do have a tip jar. Only we don't get the tips. We work for minimum wage, therefore, tips should not be required. We don't work for tips, nor should we accept tips. Although, with a tip jar being available at this facility, customers do actually give us tips. The kicker is, we are not allowed to touch the money in the tip jar. She keeps them. So customers are tipping us money for satisfying their visit, and she is getting rewarded for it. However, she does want us to somewhat wait tables. Walk into the lobby, ask the customer if they need anything, offer to refill their cups, etc. So if we are to wait tables, shouldn't we keep the tips? The customers have no idea that when they put money in that tip jar, they are actually just giving it to the store. Either she puts the money in her pocket, or she puts it into the drawer. So with that said, being the store is receiving extra money, why not buy more bags for the tea containers, and etc.?

-So this has to be my second favorite. She supplies us with new uniforms. One visor, one shirt, one apron, and one name tag. When we receive our paycheck followed by our new uniforms, we have to buy our uniforms for $20. When we quit, or get fired, we have to return our full uniform. The next person she hires on has to buy their uniform for $20. I'm not sure if it's a local policy to buy uniforms, or if it's a Subway policy, but what I do know is they are profiting $20 every single time one already paid for uniform gets returned. That just doesn't seem very fair to the employees. Of course, when I decided to terminate myself from this facility, I made a fuss about how I paid money for my uniform, that I have every right to take it home and trash it, and they offered to refund my $20, which I did surprisingly get back when I received my last paycheck. I have seen other employee come and go, who did not receive their money back, and I have seen the next employee pay for the same, once worn, uniform.

-When we do decide to quit.. Priti's husband, Kirit Patal, current Subway owner in Texas, likes to call and get ugly with us over the phone. Not going to quote anything due to very inappropriate behavior, but he likes to use to profanity and vulgar language towards us. I had the dignity to tell my boss that I would help my coworker through the lunch rush, before I left. I wasn't going to leave my coworker to tend to a rush by herself. Kirit calls the store, and tells me in a very unkind, rude, hollering manner, that I can just go ahead and leave, to remove my uniform, and go, that they no longer want me there. All, because I chose to quit.

-Inventory. They recently gave me a Manager job title. Only, because they have all of us doing inventory. I brought it to her attention that only management should be doing inventory. Week later, I was the new manager. One week after that, I somehow got booted to assisted manager. I asked her to show me things on the computer that I needed to know. Well she didn't like giving me that authority. So I quickly went from manager to assistant manager. I went from minimum wage, which in the state of Arkansas is $8.50/hr, to $8.85/hr. I got paid $8.85/hr in both management positions. Not sure if that is actually legal or not, but I will say, inventory is the only thing I done different compared to my coworkers, so if you take two hours every Tuesday night for inventory out of the equation, I got paid more to do the exact same job my coworkers done. That just doesn't set right with me.

-We have to falsely record temperature logs. The bar is entirely much colder than it should be. On paper, it's perfect, because she tells us to record what it "should" be. In reality, it is way off.

-She nitpicks constantly. Which is the reason to why I quit. She called the store one day, and started hollering at me, because I was not wearing my apron. I was in the back, no customers could see me, I was steadily working, but I was not wearing my apron. The reason to why I was not wearing my apron, is because it is currently summer time. Priti has the air locked up on 80 degrees in that store. Customers complain reportedly about how they just want to take their food home and eat, because the temperature isn't comfortable to sit and enjoy their meal in the lobby. With the oven on, toaster going, and the air set on 80 degrees, why yes, I did take my apron off. And this woman, the owner of the store, my boss, called me and hollered at me, because I was not in an apron. Well if I don't have to wear gloves in the back room, why can I not take my apron off while I'm in the back room? She doesn't wear an apron. In fact, she doesn't even wear a hat/visor. We find her long black hair everywhere.While I was doing inventory two weeks ago, the girls swept and mopped at 8:45. She called me and made me make the girls sweep and mop again at 9:00 when they were suppose to, because they swept and mopped too early. Store closes at 9:30. She wants all employees out by 9:35. Gets mad when they stay on the clock until 10:15, because they can't start cleaning early. She expects them to do all of their cleaning and tending to customers within 30mins.

-And then there are the smaller issues like using the same dish washing water and sanitizing water from open to close, serving three day old bread that's hard as a rock, because they don't know that it's hard being they can't touch it, and we can just blame it on the toaster by time they make it home with their food, and etc. She does not regularly post a schedule, and we have to run all of our personal plans by her before we can call off.

This place is ridiculous, disgusting, and not very professionally owned. I strongly believe she should be shut down. Although that might be wishful thinking, I do believe the tip jar should be removed, the bags should be replaced weekly, and etc. I believe if corporate went in undercover, they would see that this place is a mad house. If she expects someone in higher rank to visit, she will be ready for it. Catch her unexpected, order some food, sit down and observe, watch, listen, ask the current employees about the tip jar, they'll tell you in a heart beat that if you want to tip them, hand them the money, because she can't take something that was personally given to them. Subway food

on June 13, 2017 I stop @ subway, 3010 Dickerson Rd, Nashville, TN, It was a customer in front of me getting her order that almost took 20 min, then I order my sub and the food was not fresh, the vegetables was old, I had to asked the server not to put these old tomatoes on my sandwich. there was only to server there around 6:20 pm. They only had four kinds of bread, of cause not the one I wanted. They were unfriendly and I guess it was a manager when I asked when were their truck been. The vegetable were not fresh at all. look like they have been out for two days. I been different location to get a sub. this was the worst and my the way the air condition wasn't working.

I stop at Sub way Love Truck Stop Trinity Lane two or three time a week been doing it for years last two weeks on two occasions there was a lady name Kelly who has a awful attitude. I always order 6" egg white and double order of steak two scoops on flat bread. she started fixing pulled out half of a egg white not the round full egg white she put four scoops steak should only be two scoops for double meat. when I asked why the half egg white she told me a 6" only has half egg white. explained I order this all the time most time here and when on a few occasions I order the 12" when I share with lady at work it is two full egg whites. her response was I don't know what others do but it is only half of egg white so I said I order this all the time sometime from other Subways they do not give me half of egg white .she said you are talking to my customers in line I said something maybe should not have said I said you can take it shove it. I said I'm going to call in on you my name is Kelly called to talked to manager she answer hung up I will never go back to that store I will get my from another Subway will have to drive a few more miles not having to deal with her if I pull in and don't see her I will go in. she is wrong about the half egg! The WORST service ever -impatience - short -handed 2 employees during lunch rush. When you think it could not get worse and you finally got your sandwich and got in your car to go back to work, one of their Blue hair employee's boyfriend dropping I am assuming a very late employee to work decides to block the exit of the parking lot and proceeded to curse me when I asked them to move the Vehicle that was blocking the exit. Instead of pulling into a parking space - mind you there was one available right to his left - he gets out of the car to confront me - At least be smart enough to take out your SUBWAY t-Shirt when you get out of the car before you are rude to your customer's in the parking lot - WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK. Really what happened to common sense and customer service...

Subway entryway door is a trip/fall hazard which is not marked as such

I went to this store for the first time on Monday, June 13, 2017. Upon entering I tripped over the door threshold and fell into the store. Thankfully I caught myself and gently landed on my hands and knees. No injuries, except for a bit of hurt pride, were incurred. One gentleman, who was seated at a table eating and so was obviously a customer, came over to help me up and ask if I was okay. Not one of the 3 or 4 employees even acknowledged me or the fall.

I have to admit that I did not examine the door threshold upon leaving the store. It did seem to me that there was a lip or small step that caused me trip. If that is the case there should be a "caution, watch your step" sign. If there was one I did not see it.

I am writing this for two reasons. The first is that if there is an issue with the door I would like to see it corrected, or at the very least that a watch your step sign be put up. If I am wrong about this please accept my apoligies.

The second, and most concerning is to make you aware of the employees behavior surrounding the incident. I cannot believe that none of them asked me if I was okay! That to me is just unheard of, and I would like to see it addressed with them.

Subway subway service

I visit this subway in 5350 Grand Ave, Gurnee, IL regularly. When I came in last week, there was this new young white guy with glasses that I never seen before, who was working there, he was laughing by the restroom and I overheard him telling to a co-worker of his of how sometimes spits in his hand before grabbing the bread.

After hearing that, I am never visiting this Subway ever again and I am afraid to go to any of the Subway at least in Gurnee.

Subway Male service today 6/11/2017 @7pm

He's rude. His voice was loud and don't follow directions . I asked for spinach and he put pickles. I asked for mayo and he put my sub in a bag. On my second order I asked for barbecue sauce and again ignored me.

Subway subway store 35836

This is the second time I have ordered from this store. Both times they have messed up sandwiches to the point they are not able. This time the chicken was ice cold and smelled like cat food. My bread was cold even though it was toasted because the chicken had ice on it. I tried to call but number on receipt was a fax and info on receipt noninputable for survey

The day time manager at the subway sandwich at the Crawford or lexington Ga.-shop- store the maniger there had to be the most rudest and racial person I know she always has an attitude and ask is rude to the employees there. The reason you have no business there is due to her and her stupidity

Subway employee that is a mrsa carrier, very contagious

The subway by my house-16th st/thomas rd. Phoenix az. Has an employee susan sparks that is a carrier of mrsa. I believe she also has no food handlers card. Now I know why, handles numerous types of product, I cant believe that isnt a question on the employees hire application. This could end up turning into an epidemic. Think of how many customers she comes in contact with, hundreds, thousands. Ill probably go to the health department, or put up my own warning signs. U really should check into this before it goes viral. Thanks and have a nice day.

Subway the employees there

I have been going to your location in Texas City off 2506 25th ave. north.I tried to put Host order # SPM20170607043810 n and said invalid.Well overtime I go ad and want Italian bread, its just out of oven.still cooling.o ne time I go tone the bread fell apart, and I asked to make another one.same thing over and over.I know ya need help there, but please get friendly people there. Also says show your customer the sandwich, I asked and it was not looking good, but paid and left. Your location is closer to me so please advise your help there

Subway employee

Hello my name is Dana Dial I worked for subway literally only two weeks. The reason I'm messaging is because the store I worked for in Harker Heights texas on Indian trail was very discriminating and wasn't giving me any hours. They kept calling me in or scheduling me two hour shifts at a time. When I tried to talk to the disctrict manager about the issue he didn't care and refused to switch me to a different store. There was also this bonus that I was told id get 100 dollar bonus in fact but somehow they changed it down to just a 50. Where's my other 50? I was the only white employee. They made it sound all this wonderful. Then I started working for the store for them to treat me this type of way. Something needs to be done about this.

Subway won't accept cash

I was just at SUBWAY in a Walmart and had my sandwich made. When they rung me up the refused a $50 bill!. This is U. S. currency. How can they refuse cash? It's not like they run out of change because they are in Walmart and they can give change. Yes, I went to customer service and got change, but I did not return to get the sandwich. What a waste for the company. They would rather throw away food than make change!

Hello, MY son and i have always come to Subway, But on this day 06/01/2017 the subway on Branch ave in providence R.I, The two young ladies were swearing at another male across the dinning room jokingly calling each other [censor] and then started wrestling across the counter as she tried to ring me out, As well as other profanity, I will not return to that store!

Subway being very rude and having a smart mouth to customers

As soon as I entered the door I was receiving very rude costumer service from Brad reed I just thought that it was a very rude thing to do and it shouldn't be happening. I was being treated in a way that a costumer should not be treated being called a smart one and being talked down. I didn't feel comfortable to take my time to say what I wanted on my sub. Brad would make a smart remark every time I would stop to think.
