Studio 6 They locked someone's dog in the room and won't let him have the dog

They locked someone's dog in the room and won't let him have the dog. he has the money to pay for the room but it's not in their time frame and it has already been in there for hours. So it's almost 8am so I'm finding all this out when I am going to get coffee supposed to be served at 6. The office is locked I knocked on the window and she is like I need to mop the floor and then she pretends like she can't see me and starts playing with paper work not even acting like she was going to let me in anytime soon. My keys never work they are always LIKE [censored]ING RUDE! They act like your a bother unless they are OFFERING YOU DRUGS THEN your COOL 😎. Get your [censored] together dude!

Studio 6 I’m complaining about my room 374 at the Studio 6 at 975 E 6600 S Murray, UT

Disliked · When you open maps it gives this hotel a 4.5. I first walk into my room and see that there is no blanket on the bed, only a sheet. I walk around and look and thought what the hell sis I get myself into? The microwave isn’t sitting above the sink where it’s suppose to go, it’s sitting in the counter that’s absolutely disguising. The refrigerators freezer works but not the fridge. My towel looked like someone went and cleaned their tires with it. Only being 1 towel and 1 wash cloth. The vent in the bathroom is sitting on the sink. One of the cabinet doors in missing in the bathroom. Bathtub hasn’t been cleaned in months. Wake up at 2 am and see the roaches in the bathroom. I wake up to go to work and there’s a CRACKHEAD sleeping in front of my door. You walk out of your room feeling like you’re gonna get robbed. I’d say don’t book through Priceline Cause the guy did say something about my booking and it seemed like he picked the nastiest room. I’ve got pictures on all this. After seeing the roaches and the woman screaming at 6:30 am, I am CHECKING out a day early. I’d love to talk to somebody. I didn’t dare bring my GF here to stay with me.

Studio 6 Room not being clean we're being giving dirty towels items are being stolen

My mother Beatriz Orduno has been renting rooms for our family for awhile now in Studio 6 in Stockton, Ca. And Lodi, Ca. We are having problems with our room not being cleaned and items being stolen. Where being treated unfairly. My mother pays a lot of money and where not getting what we pay for. Where being mentally abused on property and off. Things have been broken and changed from the room while where gone. Where homeless we have to live out of hotels for the time being. We just want to be treated fairly and would like all staff including house keepers to do there job. Where being mentally abused on property and off Thankyou.

Desired outcome: Our money back for poor service.

Studio 6 Motel/hotel

Dear Friends,

During mid-March 2020, Studio 6, an extended stay motel in Mountlake Terrace, Washington, USA abruptly shut down and displaced many long term guests. The shut down occurred during the beginning of the worldwide health pandemic that is currently taking place. Guests who stayed at Studio 6 thirty consecutive days or longer ( for travel, work, or relocation etc. ) qualify as being tenants or non-transients, per Washington State laws governing such dwellings.

Studio 6 in Mountlake Terrace acted recklessly and endangered the health and safety of these persons, as it gave some individuals less than 24 hours notice to vacate. According to reports from persons lodging at Studio 6 for the thirty day + duration, no written notice was put on any door to a room about the motel's closure.

If you or someone you know was affected, consider filing a complaint with the Washington State - Office of the Attorney General. There is no cost to file. An online complaint can be filed via: atg.wa.gov/file-complaint. Under the "Online" section, click the link: COVID-19 Eviction Complaint form.

Be sure to include how long you were there, how you were affected ( financially, emotionally) how many people were with you ( were there minors?), and any other loss you experienced.

Some starter questions are:

- Where did I go next? Was it more expensive? More disruptive?
- Were any vulnerable people involved: elderly, handicapped, minors?
-How did the displacement affect you emotionally?
-Did I have to move farther from a job ( if relocating for work)? Did I incur additional travel costs to work?
-What other new expenses did I incur? i.e. storage costs, kennel costs, rent to a friend/family members?

Additionally, if a vulnerable person was involved, consider filing an ADA complaint with the Department of Justice via: ADA.gov/filing_complaint.htm

Studio 6 front desk clerk

Because my name was not on the registrar I had to get my husband to leave work come to motel only to add my name to the list if people in the room we are staying in. She would not let him call he had to come here personally to say my name I find this to be extremely uncomfortable and stressfull and a pain. these motels should try and find a better solution to fix these kind of issues as customers are their only source of income. Not just for this motel but for all motels in Canada this is something that would only take 2 seconds to deal with instead i waited over an hour

Studio 6 manager michelle

Yes i was staying at studio 6 in san antonio. 1500 IH 35 78204 and told and called the front desk about my a/c unit was not working properly it took a week of me complaining and all they did was send someone to check it and they said they would switch it out but, never did..i was at the hotel about a month and a half i spend alot of money there and i left today and they didn't give me my deposit back saying that the room was dirty..they never went to clean it so i would clean it..they always had some excuse to give me and the first day i was there a very rude housekeeper opened my door saying she had to check the room to make sure i didn't have a dog..i told her i didn't and that i needed to get dressed she still opened the door and came in..i told the front desk and got no response or apology...and when i left today i adk the manager michelle for a corporate number and she said there was none and no one was going to tell her a f###ing thing..she was very rude and unprofessional...i have always stayed in studio 6 ..but, after my experience there i will never stay again or recommend any of your motels...

Studio 6 robbing guests of the total dollar amount of extending 2 nights and forced to leave right after we paid

I would like to inform you of some of the poor business practices, unethical "policy's" and how they illegally rob guests on a daily basis with deception at the Studio 6 San Antonio airport location located at 11221 San Pedro Ave San Antonio, TX 78216. I would like to start by saying I have been a frequent customer at this location during the past 5 years, I've stayed for months at a time on many different occasions and in total I have lived there for more than a full calendar year. In this time I've seen some very poor business practices and no professionalism within their staff and management team over the years, and this is just one example . So today, Saturday September 23rd around 8:45am this morning our party (Albert Delgado, Candice Desrosiers, Damien Perez, and myself Clifton Long)was robbed by the morning manager (female, heavy set, with glasses). The room was initially booked for a two bed room for 5 nights from Monday September 18 - Saturday September 23rd in Albert's name, since Damien and I would not be arriving until later on in the week. So, Monday Albert and Candice check into the room, and everything is going as planned, Damien and I arrive Thursday night, Albert is called in to work Friday night around 4am, and Damien goes to extend the room for two more days on Saturday morning at 845am. The manager accepts the money and charges Damien's for two more days then ask for the room keys. He goes to get the room keys and when he comes back into the office the lady asks him who he is and for the birthdate on the reservation, Albert's. Damien is shocked and unsure what the problem is and he try's to call Albert at work but cannot reach him. They lady then proceeds to tell Damien that if Albert cannot come up to the office and bring the rest of the party and party's identification the police would be called and we would all be escorted off of the property. Damien said that Albert could not be reached while he was at work, so to give back the money that was paid and our party would go and get another room, he was trying to be civil while the manager told him no, Albert has to be the one to pick up the money and everyone else hahae to leave immediately. So he went back to the room to tell Candice so she could Los start packing. Our party just got robbed, the management deceived us to keep the money, how unethical is that, why would the staff do this to their loyal customers. What if we had needed the money to secure a new place to stay? Albert is still at work unreachable. This upsets us very much so and many would consoder this untethical business practices, through fraud and deception. I will be going by the office sometime today and I will call the police if they will not return our money. Who thinks they do that to paying guests. No matter what the situation is there is no need to hold someone else's money for any reason. If they wanted us to leave all they had to do was say they cannot renew the room and that we would have to check out today. That's simple and to the point, being strAight forward rather than deceptive, I will not be satisfied until they change the way they conduct business.

Studio 6 ROACHES SHADY STAFF, SEXUAL ATTACKS

THIS PLACE IS HELL. THEY BREAK THE LAW AND USE LAPD TO DO THIER DIRTY WORK! RUN OUT PAYING TENANTS

lower than poor! besides the roaches, this hotel consists of the shadiest people on earth! one of the manager pestered my friend for weeks, to set up prostitutes to work in the room for him.

another clerk held her entry card and $200, (all the money she had) groped her, tried to shove his hand down her pants and told her he had the power to kick her out for paying late and demanded sexual acts! when she refused protested, he told her if she called the police, he'd tell them she was a crack addicted hooker who offered HIM sexual favors in lieu of rent, that she never gave him money; that she got mad bcos he refused.

when she told him she was not a hooker, he said he knew--but said the police would be inclined to believe him. she felt trapped and could very well see the police believing him; she had nor car, or friends nearby; by now, it was close to midnight, so she calmed and tried to reason with him--saying she was on her period, that she really wanted to have sex with him, but not like this

by force--bcos he held her cash and key and essentially, HER hostage! he tried to rape her several times and she fought him off, then threatened that it was almost 28 days--that when that day came she'd have to ''service'' daily, or be kicked out.

indeed, by day 27, the manager told her she had to check out on day 28*. when that day came he got inordinately hostile and tried to force her out--when she said she was waiting for a ride, he told her to check out of her room and put her things by the swimming pool and refused to accept rent from her. he got really vicious when she said she thought it was unlawful to force guests to check out on day 28. next day, she had a friend show him the california statute about hotel tenancy, so he took her rent.

after that, they made it hell for her--refused to put her calls thru, called to harass her, shout obscenities at her for being late; leave the office whenever she approached to pay for her room (to force a default) she liked paying for 2-3 days at as time, but they'd only take payments for one day at a time--even after she was a tenant. finally on her 83rd day there, they turned of JUST HER internet, but told her it was the entire complex--causing her not to work, then refused to take her payment.

on her 86th day, the manager told her he would serve her 3 day notice in an hour, but instead called the police--who pushed their way in w/out probable cause--told them she'd only been there for 45 days--still made her a tenant--meaning, it was a civil matter. they went thru her stuff without permission--opening drawers, unzipping bags, yelling at her, telling her nothing would keep her in that room--that she was getting out, or going to jail and that's exactly what happened. she was jailed--after staying there for 86 days and paying about $7, 000 IN CASH! the police and the manager lied in court. i have never seen such misconduct in my life!

if you've had a bad experience with them, post it, and if any hotel's ever told you to check out on the 28th day post it online and report it to the dept of consumer affairs who don't do a thing. shady landlords and hotel managers are getting away with murder unchecked. make noise about it--they count on our silence--shrugging it off. that's why they keep doing it. let's stop them!

THIS IS WHY THEY WANT YOU TO CHECK OUT AND WHY YOU SHOULDN'T

*It is unlawful for the proprietor of a residential hotel to require a guest to move or to check out and re-register before the guest has lived there for 30 days, if the proprietor's purpose is to have the guest maintain transient occupancy status (and therefore not gain the legal rights of a tenant).8 A person who violates this law may be punished by a $500 civil penalty and may be required to pay the guest's attorney fees.

Studio 6 Filthy Bed Linen and Toilet

You can turn off the light, just clean my bed linen and toilet.

Bed linen filthy, blanket and comforter looks like never washed. I called frt desk and man said he would contact HK.

I was very nice in my request. Two hours later I called again and man said he contacted HK, I advised that I had a

meeting to go to so please come ASAP. Nobody came or called, so then I contacted GM at ext 702 to no avail,

got his answering service and nobody came to resolve issue or even look at bed/toilet. I was very nice but nothing worked.

Tried to complain to corporate office, Internet goes down mysteriously when I hit send on computer key as I

purchased/used Studio 6 wireless internet. I gave up after on manager or HK after 6 hours.

Turn that light off will you and just take care of making a clean bed and toilet...please.

I do not sleep on dirty bed linen or have feces on my toilet at home...especially when the dirt/feces is not mine and I paid good money for this room.

For housekeeping to not do their job is understandable, for management to not come look at my room is inexcusable.

I too have several bad experiences at Studio 6, extended stay motel. I however, had been here for eighteen, (18), .months and have had to put up with poor service for quite some time. Most of these complaints have gone unoticed. I have had to fix my air conditioner myself on seversl occasions. Most of the security doors do not work and usually the hallway smells of body odor. But, I have staye as i do like the price and have made.friends with the workers. Lately, however, a new manager has taken charge and his new idea of housecleaners knocking on doors.starting at 9am is absurd. This is infact a motel and not a jail. It is simply too early. I have been startled from sleep twice this week and am seriously looking into leaving. This is just the last straw.

Please Note: I received a letter from Studio 6 appologizing for the appalling houskeeping conditions. They said your feedback is benificial and will serve to aid us in our efforts as we continue to improve and monitor our services. They also enclosed a complimentary certificate for a nights stay.

They said this complaint will cause retraining and possible more serious corrective action.

So, I believe them and I am understanding of their problem...you as a corporate manager just cannot know your employees unless or until someone complains or you employ undercover inspectors to just drop in on these hotels and rent a room. The other problem is the individual hotel/motel may have a franchise and really not be owned by the corporate office.

In any case, I will try them again with the certificate and I would recommend that you do so also.
