I have been going to the Clermont FL S&S for over 3 years (2-3 times a week). I generally purchase your Homestyle Breakfast. During this morning event I was informed that the restraunt will NO LONGER offer bagels and cream cheese.
Why is this? It was a good part of the breakfast. Something was missing today. !

I have cafefully reviewed the breakfast menu today and did not see any other entry that was of interest to me. There was no explanation to me by the waitress. With a resrtaunt as seasoned as Steak & Shake there should be a constant availabel menue.

Please advise

The Avon Steak ‘n Shake branch has many issues that have been prevelant for years now. The management is horrible. They often times shut down at random times because of their lack of employees willing to work. The environment is disgusting. The restroom had nats flying around. This has to be against many health codes. The servers are the rudest people I have ever met. My waitress today, on June 13th, was so disrespectful I never once heard her say you're welcome or thank you. The table behind me was even heard complaining about how rude she was. I will never be coming back to a Steak ‘n Shake again. By far one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had.

Steak ‘n Shake in Southaven Ms is disgusting, as I was at the Speaker ordering my food around 11:30pm there was two people standing out back, they were standing there the entire time I waited to order which was about 20 minutes then stood there the entire time I ordered. I got to the window and asked who the manager on duty was and they said Ashley it was Ashley the manager and another employee out back hanging out and kissing and hugging all over each other for about30 minutes as I'm sitting at the window I see Ashley yell babe! Let's go smoke. They proceeded to go back outside. The food was cold and took forever but the employees are that much worse. You all allow your managers to date employees and love all over each other on the clock? There has to be a line drawn somewhere!

Today, June 12, 2019, I went to the Boardman Steak and Shake at approximately 2:30. It was busy, but luckily they had a seat available for me. I immediately ordered a double with cheese, ketchup and mustard, but no onions or mayo and fries with water. The wait person came back and suggested I get a 4th item to get the $4.00 deal so I said I would add applesause. I waited and waited and waited. I knew it was busy and I always enjoy the hot fries and juicy burger so it was worth the wait Two couples who arrived after me were served. My waiter took 2 additional orders and then brought my plate. The fries were cold, the bun was crunch, and the steak patties were dry. Also there was no applesauce, but a chocolate chip cookie. I ate most of the food because as a diabetic, I needed to eat and could not wait for another meal to be made. I finished, but my waiter did not come back to me until after he took orders from 2 additional tables AND delivered drinks to them. Then he gave me the bill. I did leave a $1.00 tip, because maybe the situation was not his fault. The cashier took my bill and said it is $5.08, but did not ask about the service. I said, "The fries were cold, the bun was hard, the burgers were dry, and it took a long time to get served." I was asked to point out the waiter and then told, "We're very busy right now. Next time we will do better." Then she closed the register and walked away. I was NOT rude or disrespectful. I understand about it being busy, but by this time it was close to 4:00. I really expected more than that brush off because in the past, I have received excellent service from this Steak and Shake.

I did not think to take a picture of the meal. I did not notice a name tag on the employees. I expected kindness and maybe a reduction to my bill for the inconvenience or an offer for a free sandwich and fries in the future. Nothing was offered. I will return to this Steak and Shake again--but not anytime soon.

We were out late on the interstate Wednesday night after a concert. Stopped in at the Franklin Steak ‘n Shake. Stood at the door waiting, plenty of empty tables at 1100 pm, no one even acknowledged we were there for over 10 mins. Once they finally seated us no one came to even take our drink order, after 10 minutes we left. Ridiculous! I won't return to this store and all my friends will know

Just went to steak n shake so my daughter could get a sweet tea to help her migraine and first of all the drive thru was closed. So She ran in... and they charged her $1.29 + tax for a sweet tea during happy hour which should of been 50 cents! Ridiculous!
Now sure why it's so hard to ring something up correctly.

Would love to get some sort of response. I know its not a lot of money..it's just the point and I am very frustrated to say the least.

Their making underaged workers work over 45+ hours weekly. Their not allowing the workers to take a break nor a lunch when the workers work over 8 hours daily. They dont allow the underaged workers any days off. The managers dont do anything but play on their phones and talk crap about the workers. They only have 1 worker on their days their really busy. Please ask any of the workers their are they allowed to take a break when they work 8 or more hours a day. I asked the manager Kendall about the breaks and this is what was said. And I also told the manager about me being in school and they still tried to make me work past 12a every night

I went to the drive up at 6:40pm. The girl snapped at me several times while ordering and she seemed very bothered by me. Then when I got to the window she practically threw my shakes at me. I set there for a good 10 minutes then another employee came to the window and asked me about order. She handed to me and seemed embarrassed at the other employees rudeness. I've never been treated that way at this store.

The steak and shake on market place, lansing, mi cooks their hamburgers so hard you can hardly swallow them. Even when you ask them to cook them lighter they won't do it. Please please please ask them to cook them not so hard and dry. Also my dad got a cup with lip stick on it and the waitress just wiped it off and thought it should be ok. Tell me that's not wrong!

Placed order at 9:45 pm, quoted 10:05. Arrived at 10:03, was told it was almost up. Not acknowledged again until 10:25. Manager "made fresh food" and delivered to me at 10:33 and called me "hun" repeatedly. Food is cold, not fresh. Cooks are touching earphones and then food. Stopped table service and drive thru service at that time and turned customers away saying there was a 30 minute wait for tables, there were at least 7 empty tables. Worst experience I have had.

My 2 children and myself tempted to get dinner at the Beavercreek, OH location near the Mall at Fairfield Commons. We stood at the front of the store for approximately 10 minutes, while several servers just walked around serving the already seated customers. Mind you, they weren't terribly full. There were at least 4 open tables with dirty dishes not being cleaned up. Not a soul would even look at us and acknowledge our existence. Very disappointing. We walked out and left for another restaurant.

Marion Il May 26th, approximate 10 pm drive thru milkshake purchased . $4.23 no receipt given back with debit card. Bank account charged twice. Gave it a few days to see if would correct itself. June 1st phoned that location...I live 5 hours away or would have just gone in. Spoke to Casey Tonya manager to call me back no return call.
Phoned on June 6th spoke to Tracy then Ricky he was to call me back after talking to corporate so far no phone call back.
Please advise how to get my 4.23 additional charge

I went to Steak n Shake and I'm still in tears from what occurred.
I am a regular customer and tonight I came in and I ordered things it was treated very rudely you. First, I accidentally dropped my shakes because of the tray the waiter put our drinks in and The lady/cashier was very rude. I ignored it and my shakes were remain.
Then I get my shakes and I drop them because this time the carrier had two of them and it tipped from my large Tea, the waitress yelled at me in Front of every one and she said: Well, don't think you're are getting it replaced, then turns around and laughs about me. I said for get and left and without my drink

This is not the first, or second, but THIRD time I have found hair in my burger. It made me throw up because I was so disgusted and I lost my appetite. When you go to a place to eat you always expect the best but it seems that any time I go to Steak ‘n Shake I end up with a hair in my food or the order is wrong. Our waitress seemed to have a very hard time figuring out our orders also.

Went to the drive through at Steak N Shake in Goshen, Indiana on June 5th. There was a car in front of me and I had to wait a couple of minutes for them to finish their order. Then I pulled up and just sat there and nobody took my order. Finally somebody said something but didn't take my order. I sat there waiting again and finally somebody took my order. When I pulled around to the window to pay, the car that I was waiting on to order was sitting there. Somebody finally brought them a drink and then a few minutes later they brought a bag of food. The person in the car sent the drink back and I continued to wait. I waited over 5 minutes and that car was still sitting there waiting on something. I finally just left. The service is awful. When you eat inside you normally have to wait and wait for somebody to take your money. Something needs to be done at this place.

I went to my local steak and shake yesterday to order my favorite #19 foot long hotdog. I've always enjoyed this hotdog combo. When pulling up to the drive through I was unpleasantly surprised to receive a normal hotdog. The associate told me that they put up a sign stating that they had removed the beloved foot long hotdog. There was no visible sign to indicate it had been removed, and it was still listed on the drive thru menu. Needless to say I will not be a patron of Steak n Shake anymore until the foot long hotdog is reinstated.
