The people at the self checkout are terrible they look in your bags to make sure you're not stealing, if you go every day even if you are just minding your business. There's like a CREEPY ASSISTANT MANAGER WHO SNIFFS AROUND ALL THE YOUNG GIRLS THAT WORK THERE ,TALL ,SKINNY DORKY SPANISH LOOKING GUY HIS NAME MAYBE BE JOHN,TOTAL RUDE, ARROGANT AND MISERABLE NARCISSIST AT THE CORE!

I work less than a mile away from the star market at 75 Spring Street in West Roxbury, MA . I work overnights so I have to be too work before 11:00PM for the past few nights the doors have been locked before 10:45PM. I understand the employees are closing up to get home but the store hours should be 11:00 if I’m not going to be able to enter the store 15-20 mins before closing.

I feel like the most hated customer at star. I filed a complaint against an employee that cursed at me months ago and since then I have seen the deli serve customers when they open at 6am and I did assume they were open but when I went up to order my meats I was told they are closed till 7am. Ater they served 3 people. I felt like crying. I then went to the fresh fish area at 7:10 am for fresh hamburger and was told ny the short african american man with glasses that he wasnt ready and to get my hambuger at the meat dept. prepackaged. I stepped away and watched this man at the fish dept that claimed he had to much work to do for opening and he stood 8 minutes talking to a customer. I went back over and said "what time do you open"? He said 8am. This is a perceft example of the little emphasis placed on guest service and also what happens to a customer that files a complaint. Thanks Star market I feel like crap thanks to your staff and leadership.

As a new customer who newly downloaded the app I was following the instructions at the register paying for my products where the said employee interjected himself five different times trying to have me do something that was incorrect according to the computer and nor did I ask for help to begin with when I stated that I'm all set I'm following with what the computer is telling me to do, he immediately caught an attitude insinuating that not only I was wrong but the computer some how was too even ...after I corrected him and pointed to the screen to proves his ignorance it was still somehow my fault and I was treated I would say Sub humanly ...because of this employee I left without spending 1 cent at your store and nor will I ever

On Monday 05/30/2022 around 300pm I was trying to my OTC card at Star market the cashier or the manager told me that there was something wrong we my card. I was embarrassed that I couldn't buy what I needed. I went back to the same store on Tuesday morning 5/31/2022. The cashier was able to comply my purchases with no problem using the same OTC card. A few mount a go I encounter the same problem and $18.00 was deleted from my card I left the store with no groceries.

All manager and cashiers most go back to training on this mather

On Sunday February 27, I was shopping at the Dedham MA store. I was told my check was declined by my bank. Both cashier/ supervisor were unable and failed to process my check. The supervisor displayed poor customer service when she failed to resolve the issue and announced 3 times announced my check was declined.

I contacted Bank of America. and that was not the case, no check was ever declined.

Dear Star Market,

I was shopping at your 53 Huntington ave store yesterday afternoon As I was checking out a female shopper was was complaining to your up front manager about how rude your your cashiers were, plus they had no customer service. They just would flat out not speak to you or just say hello.

I am writing you because I have experienced this Many times coming into this 53 Huntington Star Market Ave store. Plus terrible service from your deli where you cook the roasted and fried chicken each day.

The 1st incident was in 2020 a I called your store back to speak to the the female then store director. I had to call twice to get her to call me back.

The 2nd incident was with the morning cook that roast and frys the chicken in the deli each day. He wanted to a Racist to me that morning and I was not having from him. There seems with Some workers in Store 602 that they are not happy there and they are taking their not being happy out on the customers. One major item I feel you can start with is when a customer comes into your store, is for he or she to be greeted with a Hello! And the unhappy workers at Store 602 need to find some where else to work. Thank You, Mr Price

I have seen multiple expired products in the store, in different compartments.Today, 9/23/19, I've purchased Gevalia coffee and realised that it was expired since May 30th, 2019.
This is a very serious matter, the consumer health.
I love this european special coffee, so I decide to write about this matter
There are a lot of coffee competitors on the market, but I choose this one
