Sport Clips Unlicensed barber

She knowingly has Maria Sanchez working has a professional licensed barber
and on payroll with a full schedule. Well, Maria Sanchez was hired 2 years ago out of school with hopes she get her license, 2 years later Maria Sanchez has not achieved in getting license or going back to school, to my knowledge this is unlawful misrepresentation to the public. Claudia has tormented the other young ladies with deceit and mistreat. Other girls have worked hard in achieving cosmetology school taking the test working hard towards their goals in getting a professional license. Claudia should be fired knowingly
having Maria work under false pretense. This has gone on for 2 years way to long. Please investigate and do the right thing. It would be fair to the public, And other hard working achieving professional license holders.

Sport Clips Advertising

Good morning, I am writing today because I find your TV commercials offensive. They're all young skinny girls instead of having older ones or male barbers. I would much prefer to see more of a variety of people instead of young anorexic white women. The commercials right now are a turn off and makes me not want to go there. I feel your advertising crew needs a lesson on inclusion and variety. I really hope you take this into consideration. Thank you for your time.

Sport Clips Employee dissatisfaction

The location was 2701 N Mesa St suite b, El Paso, TX. I went in for a haircut for my break during school and I willingly chose to go with the stylist named Anna. I had her only once, but she exhibits the same haircutting behaviors like last time as she displayed this time. She rams the hairclipper against your head very quickly and doesn't wait for instruction. She did that today (10/21/21) but it was obvious this time she was in no mood to cut anyone's hair. I believe she was in an argument with another stylist because as I was waiting another girl walked out on her break disgruntled and so I assume Anna and this girl were arguing about something, thus Anna took it out on me. She said the cut was on the house since "she didn't know what I wanted", but it actually came out fine, but the whole ordeal was just awful. I know what I want and it's the same cut every time and she shouldn't have to question it since it's on the little transcript from the previous haircut. It is obvious she has the personality trait of being in charge (even if she is a manager or not) and she got upset on her own accord, not from my indecision, rather letting her emotions cloud her process. She tried explaining the options to me, but at that point I didn't know how to respond because I felt under pressure by her. Even if I as the customer fail to explain myself, the other girls always get it just the way I want it and they don't show their frustration, not that I'm saying I'm a difficult customer. No. Anna was having a bad day and she cuts hair way too fast, and this could have gone much worse for her if it was another customer. I'm upset that I have to go to another location because of the tension she'll rub off on other stylists I were to show up again. Hopefully they recognize her unprofessional behavior and not just say I was a bad customer. I work retail. I know both sides.

Sport Clips Rude manager (bully)

Kayla the manager is snippy and rude toward me and others. Once again I went in yesterday and I was up next. She changed the board. Her behavior toward me and other customers I observed yesterday is unacceptable. I have been getting my hair cut at that location for awhile now so my complaint about her is not a quick reaction.
I've been in the business world for 44 years and I've dealt with many managers. Some people have what it takes and some people don't. In my opinion Kayla does not.
My main complaints are her inability to communicate with customers at the register. And also her bullying tactic of pick and choose whose hair she wants to cut. I've spent a lot of money there which may be spent elsewhere if something isn't said to her.
I don't usually complain but yesterday was the straw that broke the camels back.
Please don't fire her that's not what this is about.
Maybe some managerial training?

Sport Clips Unethical behaviour

We went into your store at 1065 East Tucson Marketplace Boulevard
Tucson, Arizona 85713 on 08/13/2021 at 4:55 pm. There were two women working one of them was named Tina C. As I entered the store she told me that the debit card machine was down and that if I wanted to get my sons hair cut done I needed to hurry up and get cash because they close at 6. When we returned the stylist with my son was not happy at the fact she had to cut his hair. I told her how he wanted it cut. She continued to play with his hair. She then called me over and proceeded to tell me that he had lice. When I tried to explain to her that he had severe dandruff she called over Tina. I told Tina that it was dandruff and not lice and she said that it was definitely lice. She then proceeded to tell me that Walmart sells lice shampoo for cheap and once I take care of the problem they could cut his hair. I look at her straight in the face and told her that it was not lice and she continued to argue with me. Not caring that my 15 year old son was sitting in the chair and people in the lobby. They were both rude and did not listen to anything we had to say.

Sport Clips Haircut

My son just returned from GC in Olathe on Santa Fe. He won't even take off his hat. He explained that he wanted it a bit shorter on the sides, but to leave the top longer. She ran the clippers up to his part, then proceeded to cut the top short and said, ‘see, don't you like it much shorter?' No, he's 17 and he likes it how he likes it. He hesitated even going in because his normal stylist wasn't working. Now, he's tempted to just buzz his whole head. For an expensive haircut in terms of men's cuts, this is ridiculous.

Sport Clips Management

I was terminated from Sportclips location 2073 Zumbehl Rd St Charles mo 63303 on March 28, 2021. They did not cut me a check but said I had to wait till next payday and receive it in the mail. (which is against the law here in Missouri). I waited and still haven't received my check it is now April 13. I talked to the manager and all she had to say was that it was supposed to be sent out. I have filed a complaint with the department of labor.

Sport Clips stylist is kay from 151 and 410

Stylist kay had her husband yellling and kicking doors durring myy haircut she smellt like alcahol and a baggie with awhite substance fell out her shirt pocket. During the shampoooing kay began to rub on my penis and said if dont say nothing shed do me a specail it was then I walked away she begn to say im just a scared pusssy. If she aint fired I will file for a lawsuit

Sport Clips Discriminatory hiring process.

All il locations. Only hire fatt homely pigs who are nasty & hate girls thn are thin. They will send u 2 wrong location on purpose. Make comments about ur body ur breasts. Be incredibly caddy. Making it completely clear they do not hire girls tht look like girls are thin wear makeup. Not look like u just rolled out of bed. Last girl had disguise on during interview. U must b fattttttt homely & smelly to get job working there

Sport Clips Wrongful termination

Was terminated after 4 weeks. Was a good stylist w 30 yrs experience and 12 years of owning shop in NJ. I went to sport clips in Ormond beach fl. Thought it would be a nice part time job. It was brought to my attention the manager Cassie did not like my annoying NJ/NY accent. I guess enough that she managed to have me fired out of the blue w no reason. I asked in the morning the day I got fired if my car was covered under there insurance for marketing. Since I was on the clock and just bought a new car. even the other girls in the shop were shocked! I have received a few calls from them concered for me. I will be contacting a lawyer for discrimination. Plus have had stomach problems and nightmares since. Sincerely Terri Dragonetti. Location of sport clips Ormond Beach Florida. Sport Clips Bad customer service

My name is Jeremy Patterson. And I'd like to talk about a stylist named Chassidy Caldwell. She was physically, mentally, verbally, psychologically, spiritually and sexually abusive towards me. She said things like she wants to smell my underwear. She had this weird fetish with me and black spandex underwear. She said she prefers me wearing black spandex underwear. She cut me with a razor and laughed. She also said you should be killed. She also said stay black and die. She admits to me she is sexually turned on by my sneezing and she said I want to dig in your anus.

Sport Clips Bad customer service

I was physically, mentally and verbally abused by a stylist at Sport Clips on Youree Drive. Her name is Chassidy. She called me fat, stanky, ugly, [censored]ing and etc. She even refused me service because she hate mentally challenged people. She threw objects at me on multiple occasions. She even tried to trip me on multiple occasions. She even flipped me the bird. She wished death on me on multiple occasions and laughed. She told me you should be killed and burn in heaven. She said God hate you. She cut me with a razor and laughed.

Sport Clips Check-in issues

Every time I come here and check in me and boys I always end up being bumped from the on deck. Used the app this time and it only registers my son vs the both of us which was selected. The one woman who's cutting my son's hair fixed it for another woman to go and change it pulling me off deck. This is insanse every time I come here same issue, no matter how I make the appointment if I have both or one son guest I have the same issue. I Won't be coming back ever and hair Cuttery will be getting my business back.

Sport Clips To long of a wait time and very poor management.

I would like to say that this store is so understaffed which caused the wait time to be ridiculous. I don't care when you go to this business the so called manager Kayla is never there and I was told she wasn't required to be. Which made no since to me at all. The regular beauticians there are wonderful but I can say I truly don't know how they do what they have to do at this store which seems to be caused by a so called "manager" not caring about her position or she really doesn't have a clue. But I can say she is surely making your business lose money. Thank you.

Sport Clips Management

I work for sport clips and found out that the manager thought it was a good idea to buy beer for the shop with an hour left of work and bring it back to the shop for her and some other girls to drink while they were still all on the clock to take clients. The owner was made aware and I guess decided no punishment was necessary. They were all under the influence and clients could have come in for a haircut. That's absolutely ridiculous and I'm pretty sure breaks some laws or violates state board rules and I think corporate should know about it. Completely unprofessional all around.

Sport Clips Service

On 10/12/19, I had my hair cut by Sylvia at the Flagstaff location. I have been to several different locations and have had no issues in the past, however, today was an exception. Immediately after sitting down, she insulted my previous haircut and my stylist! She kept talking about how bad my haircut was (even though I didn't have a bad haircut, my hair was just too long for me and I needed a trim) I usually spend my money at a nice salon, however, Flagstaff has limited options for any service. Anyway, I was made to feel uncomfortable right off the bat. Second, Sylvia and another employee were using vulgar language while there were a myriad of customers in the store. Third, she pointed out my receding hairline, when she did not have to. Lastly, she asked if I was a university student, I said yes and she asked what I am studying. Reluctantly, I told her what major I am currently studying. Sylvia then proceeds to tell me I need to change my major immediately because my degree is virtually useless, I will not find a job after college, and that I should pursue business. I am not interested in business, Sylvia, nor am I interested in ever coming back to any Sports Clips location, anywhere, even if there was no one left in the world to cut my hair, I would never let this woman degrade me and my life choices again. The lack of respect and the number of insults made me want to walk out, but I sat there and took the beating. I am shocked that Sylvia had the audacity to point out everything wrong with me. All I wanted was a haircut. Now I guess I need to rethink every small detail in my life because apparently my life is meaningless and useless! Thank you Sylvia for ruining my day, I hope you are not rude to every single customer that sits in your chair.

Sport Clips Haircut/ fade

I ask for a medium fade that's blended up everytime I get a haircut. On several occasions they shave it up high almost like a mohawk. This particular time I went in preparation for my wedding and my hair was destroyed. These ladies need to learn what the difference is between low, medium, and high fades. It's as if you tell them what you want, show them a picture and then they just do whatever they feel like anyway... will go to a barber from now on.

Sport Clips Lousy customer service, bold face lies...

9/30/2019 5:45 pm I attempted to check in on line. Failed. Walked in. Me and another fellow there waiting. There were 8 online check ins on the board and only two in the store waiting. Facing 70 minute wait. Lady at desk says it will be faster, so I sign up. While waiting I hear another fellow checking out complain about being unable to check in on line.

Looks like we are next. A guy comes in to have his hair cut fixed. Was told "sorry gimme five minutes and you're next." No problem. When she was done in walked 2 check ins. Apparently I was NOT next. She wouldn't look at me as she walked the next customer back. Then the manager called another online checkin.

I stood to leave and was given the "We're sorry!" I didn't want an apology, I wanted either the truth about the wait or a haircut for my son Jebidiah. I got neither. I did get a decent dose of bad attitude from the blonde manager though.

Here's the deal, either fix your online check in or figure out how to tend to both kinds of customers. I was a loyal 14 year customer of your stores in West Chester, OH, Cedar Rapids, IA, Mt. Juliet, TN and now Spring Hill, TN. The operative word in that sentence is WAS. I will be taking my business elsewhere. That's me and my son 12 times a year.

Sport Clips Hiring discrimination

I know more than one qualified male barber that has applied and never gets so much as a call. Meanwhile you continue to hire women.. especially the cute ones, regardless of skill or experience. I believe you are not hiring fairly and will look into this further. I have previously contacted Sports Clips on this matter but no one seems to want to address this problem. Thank you

Sport Clips Unethical/unprofessional behavior

My family arrived at the SC location in Washington, MO at 6:30 p.m. I looked up the night before the store hours which was listed until 7 p.m. We walked in the door and I completed the check-in process for my son to receive a haircut. An older woman made the comment about, how many there was ahead and rolled her eyes and went back to her client. I went next door to order a pizza to have for the family after the visit. After, waiting 45 min the older lady came to the front and was seeing who was next there were approx 4 people ahead of us. She hadn't realized one had chosen to wait and do the cut another time, another left without telling anyone, and my son and two other people were still waiting. She begins to tell the other lady *(Julie) how, "every time she works with her this always happens, (jokingly)." Then, we (the remaining customers) hear the two workers talk among themselves;" how if it is 30 min to closing I wouldn't choose to go into a restaurant (implying yet everyone comes before closing to get their haircut).

When I checked in, I looked for a sign to indicate when they stopped taking clients, and there was no sign or message anywhere posted. There were at least 8 of us clients that waited well over an hour to get our children's haircut. This is ridiculous and unprofessional. I understand, people want to get off work at their scheduled time and it seems like an easy fix to put a policy in place to have them stop accepting new clients within a timeframe before closing, however, to not say anything but make us all feel degraded and an inconvenience; I am shocked and disgusted. You don't run a business treating your public like this, nor (per employee feedback) expect your employees to work long past their closing time. I would have understood that I couldn't be fit in with so many ahead of us but to accept our check-in, not have a sign stating otherwise, and treat us all like this... is unacceptable. This was voiced in front of everyone sitting with us and I was thanked by them for saying something. This is a business that you SERVE people; not treat them as an inconvenience. I am a graduate student, mom of 3, and full-time nurse. I am busy... I plan every hour to get the most out of my day, and when I want a haircut and the sign says open until 7, I expect just that. If you want your employees to be happy and maybe prevent this frustration from them and your customers; I suggest a policy visit and revision! Consider posting a timeline before closing as when you will "stop" accepting check-ins and talk to your staff about what it means to be a professional. Julie was great, the other two ladies, the older one with an attitude problem and the one that just cleaned and left when she could have pitched in and helped with a client or two... those are the revisions I speak of.
