She is breeding sick kittens and kittens with hcm. My kitten died at just 2 years old while asleep in my bed. I believe she was aware of the issue considering when I told her all she said was "thank you for the information". I would think that a breeder would be extremely concerned that a cat from her died that young and sudden. I had purchased a total of 3 kittens from her and all of them have had different health concerns - the only one that seemed super healthy was the one that passed away in his sleep at just 2 years old. Overall - she was not comforting, was not concerned, and did not feel the need to try to rectify the situation in any way. I highly suggest if you're looking for a sphynx in illinois to go elsewhere.
Yes Krystal- we didn’t connect the dots that your breeding practices are horrendous. Multiple people have had their kittens die and believe it or not people have been trying to make a case against you. You did nothing to make the situation right- you DO breed sick cats, and it honestly is disgusting. When I posted my yelp review I had over 8 private messages from people who bought kittens from you who died. Is that a coincidence? I didn’t connect the dots that wool sucking from one cat and scooting from another had anything to do with one another until my vet told me to tell you about the HCM and you didn’t even care nor ask which kitten it was that died. My VET is the one who put the pieces together and when I reached out to you and you didn’t do or say anything acknowledging the issue it became crystal clear. Is it a coincidence you didn’t breed more than a little for basically 8 months? My guess is not.
All where unhealthy? When we where texting back and fourth she didn't once say anything about the others having any health issues. And not once did she say there was any issues over the years. So the first two where unhealthy but yet you got a third one from me? Never gave me the chance to make anything right. Had your mind set before u texted me. Once again i didnt need the litter info because it slipped my mind she got two sphynx prio to the last to i just went back to the last. My mistake for assuming. I assumed right but besides the point. And no i was not aware of the issue. No other kitten out of that litter has any health issues. Love how ppl just assume. Sorry i wasn't “comforting” to your likings. Now on to HCM. A breeder can scan over and over negative. It does NOT mean a kitten or offspring is 100% in the clear.
My Sphynx, Grim, died today from HCM. He went into Congestive Heart Failure. Krystal K. you have really ruined a lot of peoples lives, mine included. Luckily I got to keep my baby for 8 years but that wasn’t long enough. I hope you have closed shop and not just changed your name.
