Contaminated food from SPAR inhouse delicatessen nearly killed my wife and I.

We both lost around 20kg in weight in 3 months and were treated with several courses of antibiotics.

We took it up with SPAR who have left us to deal with their insurance company and their legal team who keep delaying and not settling this matter. It has cost us large medical bills and other huge expenses.

SPAR CEO and senior staff have wiped their hands of the matter and don't even bother to enquire or follow up to ensure this matter is finalised satisfactorily or even to apologise for all the trouble and suffering they have caused us, which we continue to endure.

We still shop at other SPAR outlets for their specials but refuse to touch products from their inhouse delicatessen.

It is a disgrace that we have been made to do their work and that they show such disdain and feeling toward their loyal customers.

When will this matter be finalised with proper and fair compensation?
