42' color sony led tv kdl-w700b
I purchased a 42' color Sony LED TV KDL-W700B in 26/04/2015. Now I am facing the display problem, when approached the customer care (complaint no [protected]), Then an engineer came to inspect the TV. He told me that it was the display panel problem and which needs to be changed and the cost would be around Rs. 21000. I mean after paying so much price for a brand that claims to be of best quality I need to pay almost 40% of the TV cost within such short span of usage makes me think what do you define as quality. I found a lot of people facing this same problem and this to be a manufacturing defect.
I would request the concern authority to take immediate action on this and get my TV display panel replaced free of cost or replace the TV unit itself as
1. I don't see any point in paying so much for repair purpose with such product, which already is having manufacturing defects.
2. What is the guarantee that after one year the panel does not fail or any other part does not work after the panel is changed, do you expect your customers to suffer and spend their hard earned money on your bad quality products.
So look this matter as soon as possible, this is the Customers of such Branded company which is so Pricey (because the products are of best quality) can expect from such a big reputed organization.

I am thinking not to buy PlayStation, because Sony doesn't bother about value for money. I am a middle class man in India purchased Sony PlayStation 3 Slim 160 GB and other games worth INR 20000/- in September 2011.On November 2017 suddenly it was power off completely, not even the POWER BUTTON red light too. Just complete dead. I went to Sony service centre Techno Plaza in Salt lake city, Kolkata. They told me either they will repair it or exchange it. I argued about to repair it. After many correspondence they asked me to collect it without repair or exchange option. They argued with my father that they sell import goods, after 5 years parts unavailable, cost of repair too much from actual purchase value etc. Even they are not exchanging it by saying Company Policy...My questions to Sony are
1)a>Are Sony selling PlayStation by mentioning your 5 years policy and
b>Individual PLAY STATION units of the customers are not serviced
c>Are Sony mentioning during sell ‘'We would like to mention here that the product has lived its life.
Now it is very difficult to get parts.
Even if we get, the service may not be reliable''. etc!
Another question is about exchange policy...2) Suppose I buy a PS4, after 1 year when warranty end why I should exchange it as per Sony's depreciation value and do you mention it at the time purchase?
Sony should do something about my PS3.

I got a tv last year december. I might be wrong but the average tv last about 2yrs.in august of this year, the tv died, literally didnt come on. Luckily it was still on warranty. So I took it to anismua, who handle sony in this region. Worst case scenario, I gave them 4weeks to fix it. Just got it back 10 weeks later. The tv comes on, but none of the hdmi, af, components etc work.in short, the tv is useless.
I've been waiting a week now to get it fixed.
Is it a sony thing? Anisuma? I dont know but im pissed. I just want to know who I can complain to?
