Sonic Drive-In day/night staff customer service

I go to Sonics on Wynnton Rd in Columbus, Ga because that restaurant is close to me. I'm tired of the rude employees! The wait time is ridiculous! People are waiting over 30 minutes.. I will come to the speaker and I have to wait ten minutes for someone to speak to me! I'm sick of it! I'm giving bad review.. Another employee, Shontyella whatever her name is she has the most nastiest horrible attitude ever! And her customer service sucks! She needs to me fired!

Sonic Drive-In service

Sorriest service in my life. Ordered food and watched every one have there order delivered while I still had not recieved my order.ask to see manager and I was told that the computer had crashed now how's that if I ordered before all these cars..no excuse for it I will never be b sa cl to sonic in smithville tennessee again. This is not the first time but it will be the last time

Sonic Drive-In drink

This is the second time I have to this store and my order was messed up. They forgot one of my drinks last time and they gave a chip for a drink that I used this visit but mind you they didn't apply the discount and then they forgot one of my slushes again? And on top of that my drink was super messy and sticky . I'm not happy with the service I have been receiving at this location . I'm tired of complaining to the store🥺😡

Sonic Drive-In corn dog

I placed a pretty big order today which included a corn dog. The bag was packed very full so I did not check it before I left. When I got home the corn dog was not in the bag. This was very disappointing since this was all that one of my family members ordered for their meal.

Sonic Drive-In customer service

Whomever was working the window that not only chastised my sister for picking up the food 20 mins late (Our bad, WE'VE BEEN AT THE HOSPITAL ALL DAY WITH OUR FAMILY) continued to be rude by hanging up on her on the menu board. Seriously? I know it was an inconvenience but maybe we should keep in mind that things happen and people have things going on.

Sonic Drive-In took 30 mins to get a drink and corn dog

Used the app to order ahead. Got here, checked in, watched it say on the screen they were on their way. After a few minutes the screen went back so we pushed the button. Then they wanted to argue with us about ordering on the app even though it clearly shows on the phone we did. Well finally after 30 minutes they finally bring our one drink and one corn dog. Still with a snappy attitude like we did something because they cant work their ordering system.

Sonic Drive-In the lady that took my order

I order 2 sweet teas and all I asked was if it was Happy Hour cause if you use the app it's always Happy Hour and she wouldn't even work with me? I found that VERY rude and unprofessional and in this day and time I could of just pulled out and went down the road and have gotten sweet tea from another establish meant ! So Precious just might want to check her attitude next time she is on duty cause she can be replaced in a heartbeat!

Sonic Drive-In employee misconduct

Matt Barnhart and Tabby Pierce are having and inappropriate relationship at work. I was informed that Tabby is in fact married and works for Matt Barnhart. Tabby is a manager at Potosi Missouri sonic and Matt is partner/manager at Sonic in Washington Missouri. I do currently work for sonic and would wish to remain anonymous. I know this is going on and so do other people from both sonic locations.

Sonic Drive-In problems with the machinery or excuses??

Me and my family stop by the Sonic frequently. On several occasions we have stopped to get shakes and were told the machine was broken. Me and my son stopped last night on the way home and ordered shakes in the drive thru. When we reached the window the staff informed me that they couldn't make shakes since the machine was broken. I don't understand why that wasn't mentioned when I ordered? This is the third or the fourth time we stopped and have been told the machines were down in the last month or so. I almost feel like it's an excuse because my previous stop in late evening I was told after I paid my tab in the car shop the machine just broke. I spoke to the lady next to me who ordered shakes and they received their's. I'm not sure what the real issue is but I'm sorry the excuse is getting old. I've told my son that the uncertainty just isnt worth the drive for shakes and we have been going to McDonald's instead.

Sonic Drive-In online ordering

I ordered on line got to sonic and have been waiting for my order for 5 mins I thought it would be ready when I got here. That's what the app is for. And they charged me full price for my drink supposed to be half price. Said it would be ready at 8:45 it is now 8:57. Just got it. And she said if you order combos on line you pay full price for a drink. That is really not a good business practice. I don't think that all Sonics are the same. The drinks are prepared differently at every sonic here in East Texas. For instance I love the frozen Limeades and they always taste different. Some with fruit and most no fruit. It is advertised as Real Fruit frozen limeades and I have to ask for real fruit every time. Do care for the app because if this.

Sonic Drive-In order taker

I made an online order and when I pulled up to the speaker and hit the red button I was asked to wait a moment I had no problem with this but when a car went around to the other side and was asked if they would like to order I looked at the clock 10 min. Passed since I was asked to wait so I pressed the button again and when I said I ordered online they knew it was mine. I didn't appreciate being forgotten please help

Sonic Drive-In customer service

I got your text about half price burgers so I go there when I get lunch around 445pm. I wait 10 minutes to order then get told by some punk kid I had to leave the drive thru & wait 7 more minutes to order! No one has time for your bs games! Ppl had been getting the half price burgers all day including my friend at the good feet store across the road but when I get there its games! My lunch got wasted & no food due to this bs. Your customer service is freaking horrible! Who treats customers like this!?

Sonic Drive-In summertime chicken blt

The lettuce, if you can call it that, since there was only about 4 shreds was actually brown. I have included a photo from my sandwich. My moms actually had less, if that is possible. The bun was burned so I only ate the top with the little tiny drizzle of sauce ... I really have no idea what it tasted like, but gave it the benefit. At least the meat was hot ... I will give them that. But it was a miserable experience and most definitely not worth $5. And on top of it we both got upset stomachs ... which was not a surprise if they are serving brown lettuce.

Sonic Drive-In customer service

On July 18, 2019 Friday around 8pm
Usually we get a good experience from any of the workers, whether it be drive through, the drive in, etc.
However, I have to say Kayla who took our order from the drive in was VERY rude. She sounded like she was irritated and didn't want to be taking our order. We told her we wanted cheese fries but she pressed in cheese tots, so we repeated ourselves saying, "sorry that was cheese fries not tots" instead of saying anything or apologizing for her mistake, you could practically feel her eye roll through the speaker because she was extra rude from that point on with short responses or no response. Then at the ending we asked for mozzarella sticks, but before we could ask to add marinara sauce, she ended the order and it changed to the paying screen. That was a first for us to have any of the workers do that.

However, our carhop guy Kevin was extraordinary. We get him as our carhop often and he never disappoints. Always a positive attitude, always happy to help & always pleasant to have him serve us! He deserves five stars alone! I hated that I had to ask him to go back and get marinara sauce because of Kayla's poor customer service.

Even though our cheese fries ended up having just cold slices of cheese on it, barely melted and our cheese sticks were cold, Kevin's customer service made the experience a lot better in the end.

Sonic Drive-In product and service

First let me start off by saying this is my third time coming to this location and my stuff is NEVER correct! This go around july 17, 2019 @ 7:32pm once again my order was wrong..i didnt receive one drink (lime slush) and she rung me up for a med rasp slush with nerds (I asked for small) .I recieved a med slush no nerds in site..car hop comes i explain she says ok i see the mess up..brings back the med rasp slush and says inside told her the nerds are on the bottom..guess what my 5 doesnt care that you put them on the bottom, thats dumb..Not to mention she asked me what i wanted on my burger i explained well i didnt get ketchup like i requested and was on the receipt..dont ask me what i wanr then dont put it on there..Im complaining this time around because this location is closest to my home but they are FORVEVER getting things wrong and have the nerve to have a attitude. They all need retraining on customer service and slow down when taking a customers order we feel like were being rushed!

Sonic Drive-In chili cheese dogs

I went through the drive through and ordered chili cheese dogs. Paid for them at the window. Left the parking lot and discovered that I had dogs with onion relish mustard and catsup. I returned to Sonic and went to the drive through. When the guy asked for my order I told him that my previous order was screwed up. Instead of asking me what the correct order should be he told me to drive to the window. When I finally got to the window I explained that the order was wrong. The girl took the wrong order from me and asked what I had ordered. I waited another 15 minutes while food was taken to all the cars behind me and also to those parked for curb services. When I finally got my food I was brushed off with an "I'm sorry" as if none of this ever happened. I wasted over 45 minutes trying to get my food...the correct food.

Sonic Drive-In carhop julia

I have been a customer at this location for many years. I have witnessed Julia under the influence of something many times over the years. I have even witnessed her and some guy being arrested for drugs at this location but somehow she is still working there. Today, I brought my children along for treats. Julia was our carhop, she appeared slovenly and disheveled. She was also incoherent, muttering to herself and was obviously on something. A few minutes later, she was on a cellphone screaming obscenities at someone very loudly. This is not the Sonic experience I enjoy, nor am I pleased that my children were present to witness this behavior. If this was the first time this had occured, I would dismiss it. However, this is just one instance of this behavior from her. Sadly, I will no longer patronize this Sonic if she is there. I will also share this with my fellow PTA parents as a warning. This is unacceptable behavior from both the employee as well as the Sonic brand, which is supposed to be family friendly. I'm sure we won't have this issue when the new Culver's opens across the street. This is a very serious issue, and I hope it is addressed.

Sonic Drive-In foot and service

Being new in the area we stopped at the Sonic. We purchased 5 burgers, fries and Cokes. We got home which is about 10 mins away we were so disappointed that the food was cold and could not be eaten. We spent close to $40.00 and not be able to enjoy the meal. I guess we will have to look for something that we can make sure that we know the food is at least warm and we were so looking forward to looking forward to eatting and enjoying our meal. Which we tried but the fries were beyond from rewarming them because they were soggy. Our chk 412 and 180 Michael was the guy that took out order. Sonic Drive-In no longer offering watermelon slushy

Watermelon is the southern flavor, Mississippi is known for that flavor. I have ordered a Watermelon Slushy everyday for a long time. Sometimes two a day. I would like you all to bring that flavor back. I have started a petition and voiced my opinion to the local owner Buddy McClain and have been told the decision was brought down from Oklahoma. Please reconsider this decision and bring back the Watermelon Slushy.

Sonic Drive-In unethical behavior and unprofessional

July 5, 2019 @8pm, Took my 6 grandchildren to the location for sonic blast. I pressed the order button, gentleman comes on and I proceeds to give my order and he said Ill be with you in one moment and disconnected order, I sit for 20 minutes, noone comes to take my order, so I press the button again and the same gentleman comes on and I was asking him the prices on the sonic blasts and he disconnected me again, so I sat for 20 minutes again and after the long waiting I decide to leave with my grandbabies crying because they couldnt get their sonic blast. Children dont understand what being rude and disrespectful is. I had to explain to the that the gentleman was rude and I would not tolerate it again. As I was leaving, I saw an employee come out and I asked if the gentleman I was speaking to was the manager and he said yes he was the night manager and I asked his name and the young man didnt know but only knew they called him OJ.

July 13, 2019, 9pm I went back to the same sonic and I had my grandchildren in the car again and I pressed the order button and of course the same night manager comes on and I told him I wanted to order 6 sonic blast, he then says hold one moment Ill come take your order. 9:25 I pressed teh button again and noone answered 9:34 I began to see 4 employees come outside and take cigarette breaks and still nonone has taken my order. Finally another employee saw us and went to the manager and OJ then came to my car to say he was held up by another customer, never apologizing for the long wait. I gave him my order and still waiting 9:43pm, my daughter and I was looking through the window and watched another employee making an order of ice cream and as he began to put the top on it, helicks the top of the ice cream. We sat and watched him do that tot two ice creams as we continued to wait on 6 sonic blasts, 9:51pm finally a young lady brings our blast and the cups were so nasty and I asked her what the problem was and she stated we werent the only customers complaining about sloppy orders. The cups were disgusting and unacceptable. I am beyond upset and I stayed calm because I did not want my grandbabies to see me upset. I get my grandchildren once a year for the summer and to be treated like this is absurd. I am an Executive Director of a Non Profit Organization and I partner with many retail for the children in my organization.
