Sonic Drive-In carhop $2.99 special

been sick, ask son to pick up the 2.99 double cheeseburger & tots. (Ate a couple of these earlier in month, also have had the Philly Cheese Steak $2.99 carhop special. both good.) .. . person at drive thru tells him has been over for days... He tells me was charged $5 & change, says prog is over... go back to bed, watching TV ch # 4 Fox news Dallas Ft Worth .. Guess what --- get Sonic commercial for the 2.99 carhop special... I called in & ask for mgr. -- don't seem concerned about person on speaker / register. Says will see who was working, had just got there. and says prog is still on.. I reminded just saw on tv. Next door is a Dairy Queen.. told was building up their customer service.. total indifference to me as a customer.. disappointed in Sonic.

Sonic Drive-In burnt food served

AUG 10, 2019: Simple order of a #3 hamburger with onion rings and a sprite. Who could mess that up? This place. Onion rings were burnt and inedible. I tried to call them at (830) 772-5050, but no one answered and they were not that busy.
This is the 2nd time this has happened.
Wrong me once, shame on you. Wrong me twice, shame on me.
I'm not going back.

Sonic Drive-In no service

I went to the Sonic on Normandy blvd. with my husband and sister in law to have milkshakes on my birthday. It was around 4:30 pm on 8-10-19. We sat at a table and pressed the service button and waited for over 15mins for service. Employees saw us sitting out there and continued to talk to each other. We finally pressed the button again, just to be ignored again. After 5 more minutes, we got up and left. By far the worst customer service I've ever had.

Sonic Drive-In drink cups

I'm a very loyal customer, live close by and love Sonic food and especially all natural strawberry lemonade. I buy at least one a day, sometimes 2 route 44 size. Sadly, I will not be buying any more. I have always hated those flimsy styrofoam cups and today as soon as I picked it up it totally collapsed in my hand spilling every last drop, ruining the clothes I had on and also making the worse mess in my new car ever! I'm so disappointed! You really need to look at changing out those cups!

Sonic Drive-In ordering

Thursday, August 8th 2019 my boyfriend and I were in Lancaster visiting, "That fish place, That pet place." By the time we left, we both decided we were hungry and wanted Sonics because there is none in the location we live. We pull into one of the spots to order and the employee took it and told us our total. We waited 25 minutes and still nothing, then we heard a voice on the speaker say, "Can I take your order." My boyfriend kindly responded, "We already ordered about 25 minutes ago." The employee responds with, "I'm sorry." 10 minutes later we hear nothing, about another 5 minutes go past and another employee comes on and says, "What was your order again?" So my boyfriend repeats our order once again and then the employee gives us our total. We waited almost 15 minutes for our food to be delivered to us. At this point my boyfriend and I were both hot and irritated.

Sonic Drive-In crispy chicken sandwich

Ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich meal around 4:45 pm after a day at the splash pad with my children. We got home, and because the kids were tired I dimmed the lights and turned on a movie for us to watch. I was about halfway through eating my sandwich when something stringy was attached between the sandwich and the bite that I was attempting to take. I spat it out and took the sandwich to the kitchen to have a look - and it was raw. Extremely raw. I tried to puke up as much as I could, but I was largely unsuccessful. So I gathered the sandwich, loaded up my children in the car, and took it back to the Sonic location I purchased it from. I was SO angry, but I kept my composure when confronting the manager. He was very apologetic and refunded my money - even offered to remake my sandwich. But at that point I was repulsed by the thought of any more food. I understand that humans make errors, but I'm completely disgusted. I feel like a reimbursement is the bare minimum I should have been offered, not to mention that I really hope I don't get sick. It was check #622, and I believe the store number is 5048.

Sonic Drive-In crispy chicken sandwich

I don't normally eat there bc I've had several bad experiences but I hadn't eaten all day and decided to give them another try. The sandwich seemed ok until the last bites. The chicken was hard as plastic and completely inedible. I threw the rest away. About 2 hours later I was sitting at my desk and felt nauseas. I headed to the bathroom and vomited my meal up.

Sonic Drive-In horrible service

The last three times we've been to sonic the wait time was horrible and it wasn't because they were busy. We got out burgers and they were cold cheese was NOT melted it was still cold! This last time we ordered a milkshake and a coke and it took 15 minutes to get it. The whole time we were at the window the employees were on their phones! Pathetic! We have over the years eat at sonic a lot but I'm just about done!

Sonic Drive-In service/breakdowns

We frequent the local sonic, normally for a late night ice cream or shake. Over the last 6 to 8 weeks either the "blast" machine or ice cream machine have been down for weeks at a time. If you do not want to sell ice cream I suggest changing your marketing. It would seem some urgency would be placed on getting back to business and getting the equiptment up and operational.

The staff here is slow, rude, and rarely gets the order correct. When you complain or seek a correct ion we are met with in difference.

Its sad really, you have a good product. However, you have a serious execution issue with your staff.

Sonic Drive-In manager service

Tonight I stopped in to purchase a drink like I've done many times at the location considering it's right by my house. I have the my sonic app on my phone which I love because of the all day half price drinks so I take advantage of the savings. Well I pulled in and tried to order thru the app but ended up ordering at the stall. When the carhop came out I told her I was having issues with the app. She stated the were having issues with the app and I told her well how was I going to get my half off drink. She then went and got the manager Jeremy who came out and was very rude and told me that for me to get my half off I would have to order thru the app and pay thru there. I told him ok but the app was not working and I showed him where I was trying to order things. He said well he couldn't do anything else, he seemed like I was bothering him and taking up his time. Very rude and has no customer service skills. I work with customers all day and I always try to leave the customer happy but Jeremy left me with a very sour and distasteful visit today.

Sonic Drive-In food

I went to Sonic around 510pm
I ordered a double cheeseburger from the value menu. Medium fries. Small dr pepper. And a medium m&m blast. First of all, they gave me and charged me for everything as a large. The fries were cold and looked and nasty extremely old. The dr pepper was horrible like the carbonation was going out. And even the M&M blast tasted old! The only thing semi decent was the burger. I won't be going back. $13 for a disgusting meal.

Sonic Drive-In service

I visit this Sonic ATLEAST 2 sometimes 3 times a day. I stop in the morning on the way to work, I stop on my way home from work, and sometimes will go back later in the evening.
On Tuesday, August 6, I made my usual morning stop and ordered a drink at the drive through. I placed my order at 7:25 AM. I did not receive my order until 7:50 AM. After I had to ask about it to the carhop Amanda. Who informed me "she had just gotten there and didnt know anything about anything ".
The workers at this Sonic location have NO sense of urgency. Especially when many people are on their way to work in the mornings. I saw many vehicles just drive off after waiting so long for their orders. A business should not be run this way. Workers should care about the presentation, accuracy and promptness of the orders being placed.
I have the option of choosing from many other restaurants for my morning stop and will utilize their services instead of this Sonic location to spend my money. Atleast at McDonalds the drive through is efficient, accurate and the workers are friendly.

Sonic Drive-In cheeseburgers

Husband and I went to Sonic and ordered cheeseburger meals and the meat was so cold the cheese wasn't even melted and the Bun was not even heated up. This makes 2 times at this Sonic I've got crappy food. Last time I was told to come back and I wouldn't have to pay for it but I was charged anyway. I don't mind paying for food if it's good but cold bun and cold meat don't cut it. I stopped going to Poteau because of their food, guess I'll stop going to Heavener Sonic too!

Sonic Drive-In food and customer service

I have had several issues with this location.
Back in 2016 I was pregnant with my daughter and got 3 bacterial infections, one which included shigella. I was admitted for 2 weeks and the health department contacted me stating that it was the food I ate which was from this specific Sonic. I had a cheese burger and a coney, I remember feeling a tummy ache after eating and next thing I knew I was in a hospital bed. I gave the health department the number since they said it was due to raw food. I called sonic and never heard back.

7/25/19 My husband who happens to be an officer was going to park to order when one of the employees driving a red chevy avalanche gets in his truck, backs up in a hurry almost hitting our vehicle. My husband honked his horn and the employee kept going almost hitting us.

Today 8/6/19, I ordered a cherry coke with vanilla and cream, and my card gets charged 2x, then I open my drink and it smells raw. I then smell the cream and it smells like raw milk. I am not sure what is going on at that location but the food seems to raw or expired. I do not think this location meets health code requirements.

I am letting you know this because for one I almost lost my baby during my pregnancy because of the food, they told me at 25 weeks due to this horrific experience she was to be out, and because I do not want others to get contaminated the way I am. After my drink today, it seems like the food is still raw and expired.

Sonic Drive-In drive thru service and manager

I order a combo. I ask about a strawberry slush if its 99 cents. He say cant be with the combo i say thats ok i want it anyway i will have two dr in nks. He aak me if i want tots i say yes i drive to the window. He comes up with too high of a price. I get a senior discount i tell him to ring them up separate he says he cant do that for me to have a nice day takes my drink and walks away. I set there waiting so a manager comes and finds out that he did not get my drink order for the combo thats why theres a mess up. After she finds out the confusion. She wants to stand there and talk about it and i asked her just to give me my senior discount and to ring these up separately. I have to get to work. She said have a nice day and closed the window on me. As a manager she found out the problem solved it then because i asked her to rush it up she became the rude one.

Sonic Drive-In food/service

on 8/4/19 I placed a drive thru order around 12:30 PM. I had to wait for several minutes to be waited on, then I asked for a Regular BLT not the chicken BLT. I was advised that they could not make one, then the girl came back and said yes they can make that, I asked can we make it a combo with tots and a drink and was advised they cant make it a combo and had to make each thing separate. So I had to order a BLT, Tots, and Drink each separate. When I got to the window I asked why I was unable to make it a combo and was advised "when ordering a combo it makes the price higher" I explained that it should lower the price for a combo then asked for a managers name. She closed the window and then came back and said a name, I asked her to write it down and she stated "me write it down" I said yes. At this point I was frustrated with not being able to make it a combo and having to pay approx $10.00 for my order and then having to ask her to give a managers name and write it down to be looked at as if I was asking something outlandish.
There have been several times of extended wait times at the drive thru window before ordering, or waiting extended times for change because they had to run outside to run cards, or simply one person doing drive thru and the stall orders.
Unfortunately I have not seen the manager that is there sometimes in the morning lately, because I used to be able to express my frustrations with employees attitudes and not smiling or being friendly. There are only 2 sonics on the island and this one is closest, however it is almost at the point that I will refrain from ordering from sonic at all.

Sonic Drive-In tipping

Do managers train servers to determine their own tips? Friday, August 2, 2019, I placed a happy hour order at the above location. I ordered a Route 44 Unsweet Tea. The total was $1.29. When the server arrived, I gave him a $20. He said he would be back with my change. He returned & gave me $18.00...$.71 less than I was owed. I told him that I was planning on tipping him but I wanted all my change. Also, my order was incorrect so I asked for it to be corrected. He returned with my tea but not my change. I reminded him & he said he would be back. I waited as I saw him serve several other customers. I realized I was not going to get my change without making a scene and did not have the time or energy so I left. HOWEVER... I will not return to that location. Also, this is not the first time this has happened & not just at this location. Please inform your managers to train servers that it is not up to them to determine their tips...that is up to the customer. I have never been to another restaurant where they tell me what I am going to tip unless it is auto gratuity for a large group. This practice is dishonest & unethical. If I experience this one more time, Sonic is off my list of destinations.

Sonic Drive-In rude service and runny shakes

Like most other complaints, they take 20 mins to make 3 shakes that are like liquid, not thick shakes at all when I asked why they looked like this the employee with an attitude states that's the way they come out of the machine. No maybe if you knew how to work the machine correctly it would be a thick shake not a milk shake. Then she slams my money on the counter when I asked for a refund. Unbelievable! I will never return and its no wonder there is only ever one or two cars in the lot at any time.

Sonic Drive-In ultimate meat and cheese burrito

I stop by at least 2x or more a week for a burrito in the morning around 4:30am snd unless I say something they Will not put tater tots in the burrito. You still advertise them with the tater tots ( have you stopped putting them in or what) it is the only Sonic on my way to work in the morning open. Please respond do you still put tater tots in your Ultimate Meat an Cheese Burrito or not if not I'll quit complaining to them

Sonic Drive-In day/night staff customer service

I go to Sonics on Wynnton Rd in Columbus, Ga because that restaurant is close to me. I'm tired of the rude employees! The wait time is ridiculous! People are waiting over 30 minutes.. I will come to the speaker and I have to wait ten minutes for someone to speak to me! I'm sick of it! I'm giving bad review.. Another employee, Shontyella whatever her name is she has the most nastiest horrible attitude ever! And her customer service sucks! She needs to me fired!
