Sonic Drive-In milkshakes

This evening my family and I decided after a long hiatus to order some milkshakes. Unbeknownst to me the shakes were spoiled. When returning the shakes the manager (Christie) simply apologized with no explanation. The staff did not even offer to comp us with something else.

I am sickened and not sure if it is the shake or the service or both. Not all Sonics are bad, just the one on Gattis School Rd, Round Rock, TX. For years, the service has been extremely slow, tots are overly greasy and now spoiled shakes...awful, just awful :(.

Sonic Drive-In 45 minutes for ice cream

This store needs help bad. There are people leaving left and right in the 45 minutes that I've been here. It took 10+ minutes just to take my order and then the rest of the time was spent waiting on my one cookie dough sonic blast. It arrived and the male server did apologize and said they were short staffed. The ice cream was somewhat melted also. I never ever complain about service but I also never have service this slow except at this sonic restaurant. They need help moving forward.

Sonic Drive-In service

Well I pulled in at 321 and I was going to do the 1/2 price slushie and well I was at stall #9 I hit the button 4 times no answer I watched two guys walk by and not say anything so I'm like what the f*** and so I left terrible service I had to go all the way across town to the other one on western! Bad part they had crew talking outside! Never again will I go there!

Sonic Drive-In service

I love Sonic... my place of choice when traveling, we have 3 or 4 in Beaumont Texas. My friends and I were delighted with the choice of a drive thru window for drinks.
Little did we know that others were using that window to place and wait on lengthy orders. How crazy is that?! There are so many park and order spots that are perfect for that BUT there is no sign saying drive through is for drinks and non cooked items, only. So we wait. Hopefully no more than 3 cars ahead will place lengthy orders.
What was your original thought in planning a driveway window? What was the purpose? It has become another park, order and wait situation.
Please reconsider your client base. There is plenty of room to order meals! The window should be for drinks or non cooked items.
My friends and I are so confused. It makes no sense.

Sonic Drive-In food/order

On July 6, my family and I took a rare treat out, I had been craving Honey BBQ Boneless Wings for awhile and we finally had a moment to go get some. Our order was a 12 piece Honey BBQ Boneless Wing, a 6 piece Honey BBQ Boneless Wing meal with a Cherry slushie and tater tots. First we waited for 10 mins and the icon popped up that our food would be on its way. We waited patiently for 20 mins before we realized no one was coming out to the car. We pushed the button to order again to talk to someone and was told that our wings were almost done and our tots hadn't been dropped yet. While we were talking to him, a young lady delivered our food but we quickly realized that the drinks were wrong, as there were 2 and we only ordered 1, but neither was a Cherry slushie. We were also missing our tots but the young lady mentioned that she had to go back for them. When she got back, we informed her that the drinks were wrong and she went and got us the Cherry Slushie. It was then, that I noticed that my 12 piece was Buffalo, and after reading the ticket, we found that someone had rung the order up wrong but seeing as it was on the ticket, I let it go. Once our drink was delivered, we left. Within just a few moments, we realized that the 6 piece was Asian sauce not Honey BBQ. We ended up throwing all the food away and went to Taco Bell. We were HIGHLY disappointed that we spent nearly $20 for a completely wrong order.

Sonic Drive-In food

Visiting the Sonic Drive-In in Atlanta, Ga on Moreland Ave on July 8, 2018 around 1 am, I ordered a grilled cheese, tots along with a few other things. The grilled cheese tasted like it was thrown on the grill bare and a piece of cheese was slapped on it; the bread tasted stale. The tots was cold and tasted like they were cooked in dirty grease. Everything was awful.

Sonic Drive-In overall poorly provided service

I recently moved to Great Falls, MT. I thought I would have to leave my favorite burger and drink stop behind, that there would be no more Sonic.
I was pleasantly surprised to find Sonic here in Montana. I went but was terribly disappointed. Customer service was good but if you have no more than that to offer then you don't have a restaurant.
My food was cool. It tasted like it had been cooked long before I ordered. It looked like the burger had been stepped on it was so flat. The ice cream machine wasn't working and the ice was wrong. No one enjoyed their experience.
Sometimes you just have a bad experience with dining. I can understand that. When I mentioned this to others here I always got the same response, "don't eat there, they are horrible, the ice cream machine is broken, they are out of something", etc. I have heard nothing kind about this establishment.
I don't know if you have had complaints against this franchise but I have read many reviews and all are bad.
I thought I had found a little bit of comfort in a stressful move. I will no longer use this establishment until something is done about the problem. This isn't an off day, this is a situation that puts a black mark on your business.

Sonic Drive-In hazardous work environment

I want this to be my official complaint of a hazardous work environment! Today alesa cursed at me and said my face was disgusting! Both of these time I told her that I did not like it and was offended! She always this way I tell them and they see it and say there going to talk to her but nothing changes. One time When I was upset and trying my best Tiffany wrote me up for saying am trying my best because I have attitude. When alesa is like that all the time! Noah slap her in the face with money and nothing happened she didn't write either of them up. Then one time Kaelib said you want to hear a joke? Sure I said then he said what black and yellow? I don't know. A bee. I said no. A school bus full of black people. He said then laughed so hard. Then I said that not funny. Then he said you can't be mad am half black. My stepdad is blacker then you am talk for Tennessee black. Then I said now there a degree of black I need to be? At this point physically Get mad I drop it I don't want to talk about it anymore. Later he did say he was sorry and I except it because ever other time I try to complain no one wants to listen and I really don't want to lose my job! The reason why listed more than one event that happened Is because things like this is constant something always happening someone's always cussing. It always puts me and others in a bad mood. It causes me stress knowing that nothing will change I've tried to talk to someone about it and I try talking to her and tell her don't like it rude and disrespectful! Then she said I do what I want. She nasty to everyone! I shouldn't Feel like am walking on eggshells wait for he to curse someone out or hear story about sex or someone deciding not to do there job and fell on me or someone else! It stress me and make it for hard me sleep the last time I don't get any sleep and had to come to work was when cut of chuck off my finger I was not present when the incident report was filed out. I did not sign anything. I ministered my own aid first aid. I was asked if I wanted to go home. I answered yes. Then was asked to stay because there was not enough people. I said yes. then was sent home because I was bleeding to much. After an hour or two after the incident. What I would like to see happen is for alesa to be removed and a better way to file a complaint. Thank you for your time.

Sonic Drive-In customer service/ quality

Today 7/6/2018 my family and I pulled into the sonic drive in at 1033 E Van Hook Street. As soon as we pulled in we pressed the red button to signal we were ready to order. We discerned our order which took around five minutes. We waited another twenty minutes for someone to take our order. No one ever did. As we waited it was clearly visible that several staff members were standing in the picnic area chatting. We decided to leave the drive in. Seeing as how we would not be served any time soon. This has happened several times at this location and if you do managed to get served there is always something wrong with your order. This has been the worst quality sonic drive in I have ever seen.

Sonic Drive-In insect on lettuce on sandwich

I usually go to Sonic every other day for lunch. On 06-27-18 I went to Sonic as usual
and ordered a hamburger with fries and a drink. When I got back to work to eat my lunch I opened the sandwich and there was a bug on the lettuce between the sandwich and the tomato. I immediately called Sonic and spoke with the manager
and explained what I had found. He kept repeating that they just got a fresh shipment of lettuce and he seemed to be surprised about the bug. I asked wash the lettuce washed before it was used? Anyway, I explained that I couldn't come back because I my lunch hour was over. He asked me to come after work so I did and returned the sandwich. He gave me a 20.00 gift card and apologized for the incident. I also explained that I only come to this Sonic on lunch and if I could use this card at the Sonic by my house he stated yes you can. On 06-02-18 I went to the Sonic on Baseline Rd. and ordered my food and I told the lady on advance that I had this card from Sonic and asked if that was ok she stated yes. At the window I gave the lady the card after 35 minutes of waiting they told me that the manager would come out and speak with me. 20 minutes later I called to speak with the manager myself she came out and told me that they could not accept the card for the purchase of my food because they didn't create that mess I would have to go back to the Sonic that issued the card. I explained that was not what I was told and she said she was sorry and walked away. I was so upset because this is the second time I tried to get a meal and could not. I looked at the card and it didn't state I had to go back to the same Sonic.

Sonic Drive-In service newport news va

I was in the drive threw at 12:40 am and the girl making and taking order cut herself and amd was holding her hand up and walking around the kitchen with blood dripping down her hand and wiped it on her shirt. She never washed her hands or put a bandaid or glove on. And started takeing another order. Then grabbed a cup with blood on her hand. I am very discussed by these actions and I will not be returning to this company ever again.

Sonic Drive-In poor customer service

On July 5th this year at 10:30 p.m. I want to your son its location in Bloomington Indiana drove across town with my family and there was only one vehicle ahead of us in the drive to we sat there 7 minutes and was never Acknowledg we ended up leaving your drive to disappointed and upset that is very back customer service especially when there are only 2 vehicles and a drive to and you are one of them

Sonic Drive-In drive in service

Our order taker today was very unpleasant. His name was Branch and we are pretty sure he was a manager or lead. He was very rude with my husband. We ordered $63 worth of food. We got chicken tenders(3 orders) and was never asked if we wanted dipping sauce. My husband asked if there was sauce that came with it and the kid was extremely rude saying "Well you never asked for any". I've worked customer service all my life and in the food industry your suppose to ask when ordered if we want any sauce. I'm also sure your not suppose to blame the customer for not asking. If he doesn't like his job he should probably quit because that store has lost out business.

Sonic Drive-In our order was wrong

My husband and I went to the Sonic Drive In in Anna, IL. My husband ordered 2 # 1's, Both had Mayo. He ordered 2 fries. The carhop came out with a large ice, sprite, coke, diet coke, 1 order of fries and 1 order of tater tots, One sandwich had mayo and the other one had ketchup. When he ordered the music was so loud and the car next to us was loud you couldn't hear anything! We gave back the ice, sprite and we kept the tots because we just didn't want to mess with the situation. She did take off for the sprite and ice. She could have offered 2 free milkshakes for the trouble that caused us

Sonic Drive-In customer service

We went to get ice cream the night of July 1, 2018. We ordered at 6:43pm. As we waited we noticed alot of other cars coming and going. Then a group of people that had ordered after us got their ice cream we decided to ask where ours was. We had waited 20 minutes already!
We pushed the call button waited awhile for someone to answer and they said it would be right out. So we waited again. Then the car hop came to our car and said did you know our ice cream machine is down so we can't serve ice cream? What the heck, we said NO we didn't know that? We said why didn't they tell us before waiting 20 minutes, or even when we asked the guy on the intercom? We then asked for a FULL refund!
This whole incident could have been avoided IF they had told us when we ordered or when the other people got their ice cream! Crazy bad experience!

Sonic Drive-In items that are supposed to be food

First I will say that the shakes that got were really pretty good. Wife ordered a couple of corn dogs and she had no complaint about them. Then it went down hill from there. I had a SS Dbl Chz burger, and looking at it I was trying to figure out what it was. Both patties were so over cooked that I figured that they were left over from breakfast. The pickles and lettuce helped to cover up what little taste there was, but the tomato slices were something that had been in the bottom of the pan for a week. All I could really tell about them is the had some red color. Then I opened one of the junior burgers that we get for our dogs, and I was wondering why there was a piece of cardboard where the meat was supposed to be. I almost didn't feed it to my dogs as there was weird color all over the (pattie?). Hope my dogs don't get sick.
All I can say is, if this is the type of food product that comes out of your kitchen, then I'll definitely never go back.

Sonic Drive-In happy hour

Upon ordering and getting my payment amount i kept thinking that it was not right so when the car hop came out i asked her if i got my happy hour discount she looked at my receipt and just said no she did not even bother to offer a refund or even a coupon to make up for it and she did not even bother to say i am sorry and then to top it off after i drunk about half of my slushy drink i found a fly in it.

Sonic Drive-In customer service

Today 7-3-2018 my daughter and I went to the Sonic in Columbus Georgia on Milgen Road. Around 7:00 p.m. we pulled up to the drive thru, they had no other customers in there at all. We both have the app on our phones and were going to get a blast and redeem the 1/2 off. The lady (Kimberly) asked us twice what we were saying and apparently couldn't understand us. She asked us to pull up and we did. She said sorry I couldn't hear you and I said well we always have an issue when we come through the drive through. She took our order and as she walked away two other employees were sitting outside and she said something to them. One of them got up and followed her inside. I asked the other employee to please let her know we don't want our order anymore and we left. I have worked in fast food for many years and I understand sometimes the customers approach is hard to deal with but you still remain polite. I left because I didn't want her spitting in my ice cream or anything else crazy. The only time I have a good experience at this location is when a young man is there. I wish I knew his name because he is very polite and always makes sure everything is right in our order. Better training or visitation by higher ups at this location would be great. Maybe a secret shopper!

Sonic Drive-In bad service and no cool air in store

I went through sonic drive in last night and the lady at the drive through was sweating. She apologized and said I'm sorry our air is not working every thing is a little hectic . I told her it must be hot in there. She said it's around 99 degrees. I just feel sorry for those people and if it's that hot in there how is there foods and dessert even staying the right temperature. I'm just really concerned about the place my family and I eat. I wouldn't want to get sick or my children also how van employees even be in there with it that hot. They should do something to change that.

Sonic Drive-In the customer service

I drove up to the side to order the lady who took my order was very RUDE stated she was unable to take 3 diff orders so I asked well can I order two of them and then reorder the other order she stated her manager is saying she is able to take 3 orders. I work for a corporate company and we always order from sonic at least 1 time a week today was the worst customer service I've had to deal with. While the lady was taking my order she was practical screaming stating she could not hear me and I had to contiously repeat the order which was very aggravating then one the lady brought out the food she brought out one order at a time which now the food is cold we will never come back here again what a shame maybe next time chose better better employees who actually like doing there jobs
