Sonic Drive-In customer service / rudeness

I just left our Sonic in Gunter, TX, without buying anything due to the rude behavior of the staff! I asked if they still had the custard concretes (because the menus are gone from some of the menu boxes, and the credit card readers are never, ever working). The teenager answered "No, so do you want to order anything or not? I'm busy!" So I left. Several of the menus / kiosks are covered in bird fecal matter, and the staff is really rude. Too bad, because the Sonic in the next town over is GREAT! Guess I'll just go there from now on.

Sonic Drive-In the entire order

Ordered 2 supersonic cheeseburgers with 2 large onion rings and 2 strawberry limeade we only live 12 blocks away once home unwrapped a old and cold regular cheeseburgers. Although the onion rings were good they too were cold and old it's just poor service every time we go I usually complain to local manager but it's not helping would like to see our closest sonic cleaned up and running smootb

Sonic Drive-In out of rt 44 cups and large lids.

Went to sonic in Sherwood Arkansas 8601 Highway 107 was in the drive thou line 3.52pm time on my ticket is 4.07pm ok so had to pay full price on drink no problem ordered 2 Rt44 drinks oh sorry we just ran out of that size cups . OK we will take 2 large drinks Oh sorry were out of large lids so we gave you dome lids I hope that's ok like we had a choice we already paid . It's very hard to travel and take a drink out of a dome lid that pops off and makes a mess everywhere. Won't be going back to this sonic when other options in the area. Tried getting on the www.sonicdrivein.com/contact would not work

Sonic Drive-In wait time

Went to sonic on Atlanta hwy flowery branch ga March 24 2017 parked in stall placed order 3 drinks and 2 bags of ice was support to be buy 1 get 1 free . Sit there for a hour and 5 min when employee came out and said did you order the ice said yes and what's taking so long she said she just got there. She went back in sit there another 16 min when she brought it out she was apologizing and then she said she had been there all day And they were short of help. And on top of that my receipt showed they only knocked off 1 dollar on the ice. This is not the first bad experience with this sonic but it will be my last.

My husband & I just waited 30 minutes at Milton Florida Sonic for 2 milkshakes and never did receive them. I am very upset. I know it was busy, but for them to not even let us know on the speaker was very rude. There was a white van in there that seemed to get preferential treatment, as the red head car hop was at their van at least 4 times in the 30 minutes we waited.

Sonic Drive-In wait time and the sonic blast I purchased

Yesterday 3/23/17 I went to my local Sonic Drive thru and actually drove through, did not park at a box. (3605 E 104th Avenue Thornton, CO 80233)
I was at the order box for a full 2 minutes before the person on the intercom finally said something. I was about to drive to the window thinking the box was perhaps broken. When she did finally say something it was not "Hello" or "Welcome to Sonic, how can I help you/order when your ready.", it was "Order when you're ready." So, I did, because I was ready since I pulled up. I ordered a medium Sonic Reese's Sonic Blast. She then said "That will be $4.98 at the window." So, I pulled up to the window. I waited almost 3 minutes before the window was opened. She said "That's $4.98". I handed her a $5 bill. She took it and came back with my change, saying nothing. The window closed and she did not return for 7 minutes. At this point she handed me the Blast and the window closed.

Several things:
1. The wait time at the intercom and at the window were WAY too long.
2. The customer service was awful. No hello, sorry about the wait, nothing.
3. My blast cup was literally 3/4 full of whipped cream. Then in the actual ice cream there was about 7 bites that had candy. The bottom half of the ice cream was just ice cream.

I have been craving a blast from Sonic for a month. Yesterday I finally decided to get one and this was my experience. I did call the number on that was on the drive thru window and left a detailed message and my name and number, no reply. That number is [protected].

I would like a refund. I am very unhappy with the way this visit went and don't want credit because I prefer not to return.

Sonic Drive-In service

3/24/17 sonic drive in of eldorado ks store #1987 i ordered a number 10 add cheese and large size what i got was a number 10 med size and no cheese the bun was hard and the chicken was rubber like it had been kept in drawer all morning this is not the quality of food i would serve to a rat when i called the store no one answered i have not been to a sonic in 10 years and dont ever plan on visiting one again so you can keep your refund i just will be telling everyone i know on social media and in person the sonic in eldorado ks is a crappy place to eat

Sonic Drive-In happy hour

I entered the Sonic on Walnut st at 3:00pm. I asked the lady slushes and drinks are 1/2 off correct she says yes. So I ordered the ice cream slush. I was told they are not half price even though they are a slush. I don't understand. Either the slushes are or are not half price. The sign said 1/2 price slushes between 2-4. If you want to eliminate a specific slush your advertising should state as such. But it doesn't so I believe you should honor the cream slush along with all others since it is not excluded. I spoke with the manager Todd he was very professional however I did not get the result I wanted which was half price on my drinks but he did at least hear me out.

Sonic Drive-In shake vs. malt

Having ordered a malt at my local Sonic, I was surprised to find I had been delivered a shake.
I contacted the manager while still at the store and asked for the staff to make me a malt.
I always ask for "no Whip" on my malts and ask for the one cherry which is usually included with a malt.
When my malt arrived, I tasted it and it was not as good as the one's I usually get there but was a malt.
I then asked the manager to give me the charge ticket for the order. He had charged me for the malt! There was also a charge for "CANDY" he would not explain and a charge for 3 cherries when I had asked for just the one.
When I showed him what the ticket said and asked about the charges he just turned his back and walked away...wouldn't eve address my concerns.
I am so disappointed! OUr local Sonic was the only place in town to get a malt.

Sonic Drive-In terrible terrible customer service

On 3-8-17, i went to sonic on 1484 n hampton, desoto tx 75115.
The cashier that took my order name is whitney, the rudest person ever. I placed my order threw drive threw, got to the window where she took my money, then came back to tell me happy hour was over. Then i gave her the only thing i had which was a $100 bill.
She started yelling that this store do not take no $100 bills, i told her she is not telling the truth because my company come to this location everyday. So she kept arguing with me. Not knowing if i was a secrect shopper or not. Then she refuse to give me my order and slam the window shut telling me bye. I waited right there until another person with some sense come, the manager by the name of monica was very nice she apologize for this and told me the cashier is new. I told her she should not allow someone like this to even run off any customers, then i spoke with the district mgr which he says thats not acceptable. That wasnt good enough for me. I am a business owner and totally hate bad service. Just bringing this to your attention. My company will not return

Sonic Drive-In 2016 W-2

Mrs. Dillard is submitting this claim to whomever. My son has been employed with the Sonic's on Lady's Island S.C. this past year and has moved on to a company that appreciates his service. It is March 9, 2017 and he have not received his W2. He has spoken to management and haven't had any success. His address has not changed (P.O. BOX 106 Port Royal S.C. 29935). By the way during his time of employment with your franchise he was also suspended for a week due to a complaint from this complaint site. That matter was dealt with in a few days. So let's see if THIS will be done as quickly. Kevin Dillard would greatly appreciate it if this matter could be handled NOW. Sonic Drive-In no one working in the pull up and park to order.

I went to Sonic to Get my Family Dinner because I received a raise. I pulled up and parked my truck to order. I pushed the button 4 times and no one took my order. I was allowed me to sit at the drive in Speaker for 20 minutes without out acknowledging me. When I went to the Drive up window the person would not take my order and had a attitude. Sonic Drive-In unprofessional employees

On Monday February 27, 2017 I went to the sonic restaurant in Algonquin, I'll when I arrived the car hop came to my vehicle took my order I was at station #8 I ordered a #2 no mayonnaise or ketchup fresh hot fries and a cherry lime aid. When my order arrived I received a small box of fries that appeared to be several hours old and cold I asked the female car hop to please give me some fresh hot fries she took the old fries an proceeded to the restaurant a young male returned several minutes later with a small box of fries however it was like I ordered salt. The fries which I still have were so salty I got sick first bite.

believe this is a direct result of my asking for fresh hop fries which I asked for when I paced my order the boy had a smirk and a sense of arrogance when he gave me the box of salt with a few fries. I have had some problems with both sonic stores in my area but this is getting to be totally unacceptable and yes I understand these are young people my food is very important to me I do not want any unsanitary or malicious tampering with my food I am keeping the salty fries for you should you want them back. I received no receipt I paid $8.50 in cash for my order.

the adult should be fired immediately this is clearly a public health matter every thing attaches to kids as they are magnets for every disease. Yuck!

I don't believe that a ten year old is suppose to be working in a sonic drive in while in full uniform and her mother being a general manager and also handling customers food she is too young I believe someone needs to do some thing about this. the sonic drive in that I am talking about is in Neodesha ks zip code 66757

Sonic Drive-In ranch, and service, and food

I visited the sonic drive in here In thomasville nc. Store number unknown. GM name is Paul Walls. I had ordered cheese tots for my daughter she loves them. She is 4 and it is hard to find things she likes. Well unlike every other time we were there they used shredded cheese instead of sliced and she tried them and wouldn't eat them. Then I ordered Mott sticks which we love with your ranch packet, well when we dipped the Mott sticks in ranch the ranch was spoiled tasted awful. Not to mention she charged me for ranch at the window I had asked for 2 packets with my 6 piece and she said it would be a quarter. I said OK run my card for the original amount and I will give you the quarter. Well she gave me my card and card receipt which was different then amount I was told. I gave her the quarter. When she finally gave me my uneditable food I had to ask for my receipt which h she was rude to give me and low and behold I had been charged for the ranch on there as well. I have been going to this sonic for awhile as I live 3 minutes from here, but after my last two experiences I will not be returning here. Last time I had bought $30.00 worth of food for my family of 4 after a long day of work, to wait 30 something minutes to get it and still have to go home and cook dinner, I was very mad. The food was cold and tasted old. Cheese tots had very little speck of cheese, burgers were cold...just the worst experience ever. But thinking they were having a bad night decided to try one more time to be let down again. They need to fix there food quality and friendliness at night.

Sonic Drive-In not getting the food order. but got charged

Yes, i am very unhappy with Sonic. Farmington AR. My hubby and i stopped in there sat. at 1 p.m and ordered a number 2 double cheese burger meal and then one extra burger double and we got the meal but the extra burger was a single. we didn't check our food till we got down the road about 10 miles and we wasn't about to turn around... I was charged for it and another thing in our bag we noticed they hadn't gave us our receipt either...Feb. 18th.

Sonic Drive-In drive thru ordering

Recently my husband and I went to a Sonic near our home. When ordering I clearly spoke without mispronouncing the order and the employee asked me to repeat my order so I did. On my second attempt I made sure to again clearly repeat my order but was sarcastically mocked by the employee. It was late and I had a long day and didn't need this sarcasm or rude attitude which I did not appreciate it at all! Her name was Angela but went by "Angie" when she introduced herself.

Sonic Drive-In I am complaining about one of the employees

Me and my friend stopped by to grab a quick bite to eat at our nearest Sonic. We did not bother anyone and kept to ourselves the entire time. One of the employees that works there (Shawna Brown) had a bit of a troubled history with us, but we did not start anything. We got our food and kept to ourselves. My friend noticed that Shawna had taken a picture of us. Another friend later noticed that the photo was posted to Snapchat with a rude remark to me and my friend. I am complaining because this is not workplace appropriate and I do not approve of her taking photos of me without my consent especially when it's used in a way to slander us.

Sonic Drive-In employees and management

I order a breaded chicken sandwich with mustard. When I opened my sandwich there was the tiniest drop of mustard on the chicken. I showed the car hop and she proceeded to get me two packets of mustard. I looked at her interacting with the manager and they both laughed. Apparently wanting my order to be correct was funny to them. I will not be supporting this establishment again.

You certainly cannot confirmt that's what they were laughing about. Anyways, that is the nature of fast food. Better to apply not enough of a condiment than too much, as you can always add more.

I was in the drive thru at m.l.k. in Oklahoma city I ordered a small strawberry slush it came up to$1.79 I told the man the price wasn't right. he said they can fix it at the next window i went to the next window and told the black man what I wanted he said I told u what you wanted I said no I wanted a small strawberry slush and its a 1.19 plus tax he then said the sign out side is wrong.i said I just ordered the drink off the sign he said something else I cant remember. so I told him never mind and drove off.

On 2/10/17 my husband and i were at store 5731 in Lancaster, OH. We've been at this store many times and everything is usually great. Yesterday i ordered a cheese burger with everthing. The meat was beyond dry; it was like eating cardboard. Bun dry too. Top had squirt of condiments. My husband doesn't like to complain so i ordered 2 corndogs instead. These had definitely been microwaved and microwaved too long. The weiner was tough and burnt on the inside. The dough was oily on the outside and and uncooked on the inside. And cold. By the time we discovered that we were on our way home. I'm attaching pictures. My onion rings were great! In the past I've had corndogs from various Sonics and they were always big and crispy on the outside with a plump hot wieners, well cooked. These were small, tough and I'm not even sure they were beef. The taste was atrocious.

Sonic Drive-In carhop named sierra

Yesterday, 01/18/2017, my husband and I went to the Sonic at 2612 W Lee Blvd in Lawton Ok. The girl who took our order and our carhop was named Sierra. When she delivered our order my husband asked me a question about if it was right. She stood there pecking her fingernails on the menu board and rolling her eyes. When she told us the price my husband asked if the card had not worked because he had paid at the card reader. He short answer No, very blunt and actually rude. Rather than apologizing and saying I will do it again for you, she just stood there with her hand out until he laid the card in her hand. She signed in and ran the card. Then instead of expressing regret and saying Thank You, she just folded the card up in the receipt and handed it to my husband and started walking away. He stopped her to give her a tip, which I would not have done. I don't expect that kind of behavior from Sonic nor have I ever been treated that rudely.

Sonic Drive-In greeting employees are made to give

I have spent my entire life with a name that most people can't pronounce. Because of that I'm aggravated when people ask me my name and often tell them it's something that's not, because they to become aggravated trying to pronounce it. So while I understand why you have your people greet customers with "who do I have the pleasure of speaking with, " it annoys me to no end every time I come to your restaurant. This makes me ignore the question which I feel is very rude and continue my order. Despite how I love your food and the service, I leave with a bad taste in my mouth. Please find another way to make your Customers feel special, which is what I know you intend to do
