Smith's Security guard.

Security guard on 111 Coors Blvd NW A African gentlemen working around 11:30 PM pepper sprayed a stay lady right in front of me for her speaking her mind got in her face and pepper sprayed her . And when I confront to him in front of his other workers that came out after the fact he tried to get in my face and hit Me .He should not be working at smiths or smiths later smdown the road will get Sued .And his fellow workers seemed to be okay with how he was acting .The person was around 5,10 I didn't get his name but I'm sure u can find out what shift he's working total disregard for other people that he's there to protect nit abuse his power .

Smith's Customer Service at pharmacy

On 9/1 at 7:25 PM came to smiths pharmacy drive through window on Maryland Pkwy and Silverado Ranch in Las Vegas to pick up medication for my mom. When I was ready to pay I could not find my wallet. I did not want to hold up the cars behind me while I was looking for my wallet. I parked, looked for my wallet, found my wallet and saw that there was a long line at the drive through. So I walked into the Smiths and stood in line of the pharmacy. The gentleman who stood in front of me waited for his meds then they called him and noticed they did not have all his meds ready. He had to wait for another 10 minutes. When he stepped aside I asked Soha, the lady who was behind the counter if she could get my meds from the drive through window they are ready I just need to pay. She said don’t rush us wait, the gentleman is before you. A few minutes later the lady working at the drive through came by. I asked her should I come back through the drive through I found my wallet. Before I can even finished asking my questions Soha started to yell at me! “ Go back in line. I already told you” Me and several customers were startled because she was yelling. I calmly said I am talking to your colleague not you. Please don’t raise your voice at me. She continued yelling to stop rushing her. I said I am not rushing you I was already out side and waited and now am waiting inside. I have been in line a total of 25 minutes. She said no that is not possible. I asked her if she is calling me a liar. She said I never said that word. And now I am not going to help go back to the drive through. I had to go back to my car, get in line at the drive through window and wait again. I am 58 years old and have lived on three continents, I have never been humiliated like this ever! I will never enter another Smith again. I can spend my money where I am not insulted. I will also share my experience with friends, family, colleagues and the public in every mode of communication I can access. Please call me [protected] within 24 hours if you would like to avoid that. Soha needs training!

Smith's Pharmacy assistant has no customer service

I am sorry to inform you that a pharmacy assistant, Jenna, does not belong in customer service or out in public dealing with people period. I have given her 4 prior chances before I finally can’t handle the rudeness from her. I’ve come to realize that it doesn’t really matter how old you are or anything of that nature, just rude to everyone. Late this morning around 11am I went to pharmacy to notify them I need to have one of my prescriptions sent to another pharmacy in town since they are unable to get in after almost a 2 week wait. I waited patiently at the pick up counter for someone to help me, then she appears and just stands there staring at me, so I begin to tell her about my doctor appointment earlier then stopped and told her my dob, because she rolled her eyes at me. She says first name? I answer. She quickly and firmly says we don’t have it in and we aren’t getting it in. I replied and told her that’s why I am here to have you transfer my script to another pharmacy because my doctor says I need to take it. She came back with I can’t do that, that pharmacy has to call me, then I will transfer it again with a firm quick tone, and walked away. Not only has she treated me with this disrespect but other customers as well I have witnessed, along with my husband and mother. I chose this pharmacy because I have been going there for years to pick up my mothers prescriptions and everyone so nice and helpful until she arrived. You walk away feeling like you are wasting her time when that’s her job. She might be good at other skills in her job but customer service is not her gig. So the next time I go I am going to ask for someone else to help me or I’m leaving this pharmacy. Thank you

Smith's Gas Station on N Durango

At 10:38pm I stopped by the Smith's gas station to pick up some cigarettes. I was pretty sure they closed at 11 and the window was still open w/the clerk sitting inside. Before I could even ask for anything the clerk said the window was closed but I could still get gas. I asked him what time he closed and he replied 11 but I close at 10:30. What is the point of having the window open during your times of operation if you don't want to help customers?

Smith's Produce. Meat department. Drug pharmacy

This past week I went to Smith’s to go and get some food I walked in went to the produce all the produce looks rotten and the grove manager said that they were behind on staff then I went to the meat department to get some meat some fat kid named Judah Said that they didn’t have any meat to put out all he did was stand there for the rest of the night that I shopped He is a meat manager? I don’t know what kind of company this is but to me I’m never shopping there again. two days later I had a prescription to go refill they told me would be ready in 20 minutes it took them five hours

Desired outcome: Products need to be better more products need to be put out and managers and assistant managers need to quit lying to customers

Smith's car gas

I had credits, per the printed receipts.

When I added gas to the car, there was NO discount, even tho the card reader showed the accept by GREEN light going on.

What happened ?

Smith's Service

This middle aged short stubby man with a buz cut and glasses came up and yelled at us for not having our receipts and then he followed us out of the store and dragged us back in all while having a smug smile and a condescending attitude then he made us dig through the trash to find our receipts after i offered to handle this in a more mature less public way by showing my bank account but he was refusing to listen to logic all to help his pathetic emasculated ego, then after we found our receipts he didnt even look and he shooed us out without apologizing even though we communicated that we were in a rush. I am never going to smiths again and now it will always have a demeaning environment due to intolerable and immature employees!

Smith's Trespassing Issued (Not Originally Approved By Manager)

They said I am not allowed in the store because I told the security guard that New Mexicans have low IQ. Why it got to this point is because one of the security guards (not the one who thought I stole) thought that I stole a milk which I purchased from their store a few days prior and I brought it from my home. Also when I showed up the following day the security guard (Not the manager) said that I was kicked out of the store while I purchased my tea and when I said: “I can do whatever the hell I want you’re not the manager,” he told a manager dressed in blue that was not previously aware of me telling the security guard that New Mexicans have low IQ (As this manager wasn’t on duty the day prior) While recording I found out that the security guard who kicked me out by convincing the new manager is not an American citizen. I asked him if he had citizenship to which he gave two responses: “Are you threatening me … “You don’t need to know.” Since the videos won’t upload on here you can watch them on my YouTube channel: The 13th Disciple

Desired outcome: Fire this security guard and demote the manager in blue. Also let me back in the store. New Mexico has the highest unemployment rate and we can hire a United States citizen to be a security guard instead of an illegal

Smith's Lisa Despain - Smiths warehouse employee

My name is Hart Wesemann - phone [protected]. I own my own business in Davis County Utah. For many years i have been entering radio contests as a hobby. For years i have heard a woman by the name of Lisa Despain winning many cash contests on Z104 Country. This has been going on for years. Lisa Despain has announced on the air when she wins, that she works at Smiths Warehouse in Layton, Utah.So far this week, she has won 1,250.00 cash on Z104. I don't know if she enters other contests on other stations. My concern is that Lisa has been using Smiths company equipment and company time to enter radio contests. Does Smiths have a policy about this regarding their employees.? I can't imagine that this type of behavior is approved of by Smiths management. Please forward this complaint to upper management. Thank you.

Desired outcome: i would like to know what Smiths policy is regarding employees playing radio contests on company time with company equipment.

Yes, Smiths is a poorly run company, period. But your review is so laughable. Try winning on another station; maybe Lisa knows someone who works at the radio station; did you give the radio station a bad review? Lol, who knows if there's foul play and, if so, where it's happening. It is horrible to hurt a business that has nothing to do with it by writing your review. Blame all (Store, employee, radio station, etc..) or blame no one and move on. Maybe she knows a trick you could use. You know her name and where she works, call her and ask how she does it. Let her know you'll do it on another station, so it doesn't affect her, and then you can both win. Good Lord.

Smith's Unemployment

My complaint is toward the store manager Adam in the Gillette Store. Since my son won’t complain then I guess I will have to do it for him. My son Armando Rodriguez was let go if I’m correct on March 28, 2022 by Adam. I’m sure you already know the reason why so, I’m not going to waste your time in explaining why he was let go. He made a mistake and he admits that he was in the wrong. When this incident happened he was transferred to Smith’s Express and it was great for awhile until they started cutting his hours to 16 hours a week not enough to pay rent and his bills. Armando is not the type of person to complain. So, he continued working his 16 hours a week for a couple of weeks before he was let go. And Adam told me that I couldn’t work at the big store because no one wanted me there. Which wasn’t true from what the employees told him. Adam never liked Armando since the first day Adam stepped foot into the store. When my son was let go Adam didn’t even give Armando to give him an explanation. And when Armando went out of the store I heard that he was smiling because he had finally got rid of Armando. Armando has a big heart and he will go out of his way to help people if he can. I’m not saying this as a mother. Customers say it on facebook of what a big heart he has. Armando would always come in on his days off when he was called. When Armando was let go he applied for unemployment and I found out yesterday that Adam told some employees on the floor that he was going to make it impossible for Armando to collect unemployment. Is that the kind of store manager you want to manage this store. I heard other things about Adam that I don’t want to go into to.

Desired outcome: All I want is to be able to collect unemployment until I decide what I want to do. I have rent and bills to pay.

Smith's Pharmacy

My veterinarian did not have the pills I needed for my dog so he wrote a prescription for your pharmacy to fill the medication. He told me the pills would be about $25.00 for a month supply. I also looked on chewy and they were about this price. I took the script to smiths and they said it would take a while so I had a friend pick them up a few hours later. She called and told me they cost her $114.00 vs the price the vet quoted. When I got home I immediately called the pharmacy to try to take them back due to the outrageous cost and was told they would not take them back, I had paid for them so basically I was sol... I am a very good smith's customer but after the robbery I received on filling this prescription I will definitely never use your pharmacy again and will look at other grocery shopping options in my area. I cannot believe you could charge this much more for medication than the vet or chewy and get away with it! Buyer beware...

Desired outcome: I would like to either pay the standard and customary price or get my money back and go to a reputable company to get my dogs prescription filled.

Smith's Food and customer service is very superior. * especially martety self checkout. He is the king of checkout.

I have lived several blocks away for 20+ years and I thought that when they remodeled Smith’s and expanding their pharmacy that they would be able to handle the influx of customers. I understand they have a difficult job, especially when it’s after hours for the doctors offices to resolve it. I’ve been more than patient for many many years and I have shopped, actually I used to balance my prescriptions around to other pharmacies, which I’m about going to do here tomorrow but the pharmacy service the app application online continues to somehow revamp or not sure what the term is but I’ve been told many times after I let the phone ring for 45 minutes which is not an exaggeration, I will literally get in my car and drive to the pharmacy and the phone will still be ringing after a long wait time in the pharmacy line. I understand they had some problems with the robot fulfillment machine but that was two years ago. Also I must defend Bishaw, Tracy and Steve, they are excellent and have a difficult job. On top of that my wife and I spend through the insurance three to $600 a month yet I get three cents a gallon now at the fuel pump. I understand again that they have a tough job but it is entirely not or excusable that I will go to Walgreens or other pharmacies to illuminate the hassle the crowded hostile people in line just to drive the same distance . This is not the first and only time.

But I’ll give you an example today. I was told by the pharmacist at 5 o’clock that my wife’s lidocaine patches would be ready in an hour and I always say that’s OK I’ll give it two or three hours and I’ll be there by 8 o’clock . Oh my wife suffered a hit head hemorrhage and has had paralysis on top of seizures for many years. As much as I like Bishaw and Steve but let down today again by Tracy I’m gonna go to the inconvenience of changing pharmacies and possibly shopping for groceries at other locations. To reiterate I have lived two blocks away for 23 years. It was no wonder years ago that they served punch and cookies to keep the children occupied but that is not an excuse for you to lose extra time to get home get groceries etc. etc. Period

What I should’ve said from the start , I try to use the online app to save phone calls and time for myself and the pharmacy staff but I have literally the phone will ring and I never get a response saying can you please hold will be with you as soon as possible. It rings I have to turn my tooth cell phones on and I’ve literally had 2 to 3 numbers calling the pharmacy ringing with customer service from the upstairs office and it never ever ever gets handled. I know they have a tough job and I’ve worked in retail several times throughout my 30+ years life but this pharmacy stinks and I never ever leave a bad comment and this will probably get unanswered I would expect an answer to my Gmail or my phone no do not send it to my email.

The only way I will receive things or response is to my cellular phone. My phone number is [protected] my birthdate is July 19, 1967, my wife’s birthdate is March 14, 1967. For my wife to have to wait for her seizure medication Lamictal the mortgaging and her pain patches what the heck do you call it the big patches you put on your back and your legs and thighs is absolutely inexcusable especially when the head pharmacist at 5 o’clock says I can have it ready for an hour and I said that’s OK Tracy I’ll be there in 2 to 3 and she said thank you for giving me that time and space to get a route ready for you I went through even a worst-case scenario last month about needing a authorization code even though my or her my wife never has changed. I mean I could go on and on but this is going to be the last time of a 20 year old 20 customer that I have to go through one hour on the phone, I literally will drive to the pharmacy after the phone rings without anyone saying, can you please hold. Once again I will have two lines going to three phones going I understand about do not shoot the messenger and they do have a hard job but this is it all my prescriptions which I have about eight and my wife has about four or five they’re going to be transferred across the street to CVS or Walgreens or Walmart. Like I said I have worked retail several times in the last 30 years and it’s not an easy job but this goes on and on and on and on. They need to start serving lunch because that’s what the average time online the time online actually is so jacked up that it changes periodically between Kroger national and Smith’s.

Bishaw is a good neighbor of mine and he deserves to get some credit for doing the best he can and he’s very friendly and very professional but the rest of the process is absolutely, this is the first time I’ve beefed about it but this is it plus I don’t get any points I get three cents a gallon add the pump when I used to get upwards of 50 $.70 because my wife and I have combined about 10 prescriptions well that’s gonna be the end of that as much as I hate going to Walmart or CVS or Walgreens I am now as of this date transferring all my records oh, exclamation I needed my testosterone injections and the dumb buggers at the counter only filled one bottle at a time versus a 90 day supply two times so that takes me to making multiple trips multiple co-pays etc. etc. your new pharmacy looks really great but it stinks but I will defend Bishaw and Steve everyone else I know you have a high turnover rate but no freaking excuse. Did I mention that the Tracy promised me lidocaine patches for her disability yes her disability exclamation . At 5 o’clock today and instead of filling that prescription or earmarking them for her use and filling it and hang it on the rack I made a special trip with my wife’s and never mind empty promises what it comes down to

Empty promises and lack of filament fulfillment is what it comes down to. I said why can’t you just fill it right away and air market or something and that way you’re that’s what a computer system is for even though you don’t feel it physically and put it aside oh my you have caused me so many unnecessary trips so many times in line. This isn’t just a one time thing that I’m talking about 20 years and I have been more than patient and I do tell your representatives that I understand but this is jacked up first time complainer I do not intend to see you again specially if you don’t give me fuel points especially if you can’t have things waiting and you don’t change your app online ordering. I do that to save us both time because I don’t have 45 minutes for the phone to ring and get two or three phones calling them to get someone to answer actually they don’t even still don’t even answer

actually going to is it Walgreens or CVS kitty corner from Smith’s on 4500 S. and 900 E. is actually easier for me but I’ve been patient so I can shop for groceries and our pharmacy needs at the same time.

However, now that I have a EBT or food stamps card I am definitely going to CVS or Walmart or Walgreens etc. there’s too much competition within one or two blocks of each other

Smith's Fuel Rewards

You are miss representing your Fuel Rewards program. You promise me up to 35 gallons of fuel at a discounted rate when I use my Fuel Rewards, but your pump is shutting off at $150.00. This morning, you robbed me of 5 gallons of fuel at a discounted rate, it had only pumped 30 gallons when the pump shut down, and my truck was empty and has a 45 gallon tank.

How are you going to make this up to me?

Smith's Environment - Smiths plastic bags all over people's backyards

I live behind the Smith's Marketplace in Salt Lake City, Utah, the location on Valley Street. Every day, I pick up trash in my backyard that is Smith's grocery bags, sanitation wipes and all sorts of trash from there. There are trash can's in the parking lot, but with no lids! Please help cover trash cans at all Smith's locations to stop littering in people's yards and helping protect the environment.

Desired outcome: I would like Smith's and Kroger to start addressing issues such as this and become more aware of the litter that's being created outside of the store.

I live in the neighborhood of this store and go in there almost daily. When the pandemic started this place was like a hospital for cleanliness. We could only enter one door, the other was for exit. Everything was spotless, masks were dispensed for those who did not have one, and the distancing and all other protocols were observed. There were sanitizer...

Second time this week, my cashier left my items on counter for me to bag and put into my shopping basket. If this is a new policy of Smiths... I will happily buy my groceries at Von's. I spend to much money weekly at Smiths for this type of non service.
