SmileBox unauthorized credit card charges

Last Sept. 14, 2018 - Friday p.m. I was trying to get a free online ecards and go over this site to avail the Free 7 days trial. I happen to enter my VISA card hoping that I can try the 7 days free trial and can cancel before the due date and it would only cost me only less than $ 7 + USD/month if ever I will continue to use it. While in the process and upon reviewing the content of the ecards and entering all the email address I was trying to send it to, I closed the wrong close button and the site has gone without even sending ecards to the recipients. I was trying to get into pinsterest last week to see if I can cancel but wasn't successful . Today, Sept. 24th the 7 days free trial is up and upon checking my VISA I was charged for $47.88 USD ( 61.98 CAD + 1.24 CAD-for Int'l. Fee= 63.22 CAD) . I would like to request a refund as I wasn't even finished doing the transaction at that time and believed that this is unathorized. Please let me know what is needed to get my refund. If possible to let me know ASAP if this request is granted. The merchant ID: [protected]; MCC Description: Computer Software MCC: 5734

SmileBox cancel my subscription

Good morning,

Please cancel my smilebox I had no idea I was still signed up for it. I have not used, looked at or had anything to do with smilebox in at least 2 years. It is crazy that I was charged for something that I clearly don't use and had no warning about getting recharged for it! CANCEL SMILEBOX IMMEDIATELY PLEASE!

Please cancel my smile box account i have no idea what smile box is and cant remember signing up to anything. I haven't ever used it EVER and its not on my computer and i have no idea what it is yet your taking money from my account. Refund PLEASE

SmileBox profile change from auto renew

There is no one to talk to only e-mail. I have a billing and access problem and it is all a run around. I got my password changed, then I sign on. I go to change my profile it sends me somewhere else and then won't take the user id and password.

A former employee signed up for smilebox, charging to the company paypal account. We were auto renewed and can't seem to turn off auto renew or get a refund.

SmileBox subscription error

My name is Yves Herman and I am based in Brussels. I have received an amount of 47.88 EURO to pay for the subscription to a SmileBox account that I don't think I have ! This payment was directly withdrawn from my American Express card on August 3, 2018. SmileBox unauthorized credit card charges

I have cancelled my account with your company late last year 2017or earlier this year 2018. I checked my credit card statement and a transaction has came through on 7/29/2018 for $47.88 and I would like to have my refund placed back on my credit card please. please contact with the information I have listed below.

SmileBox computer went down, can't get smilebox back

computer went down smilebox is off my system. cant reload. also i can't sign into my account. rejected my sign in [protected]@gmail.com and my password I have the premeum pogram plus what i have as extras purchased in past. can you help me get it reloaded, none of my photoshows will work!

SmileBox smilebox

This company has renewed my membership twice since I canceled it in 2017, I just received a notice from my old Bank that I had an isf on my account for 47.00. I have emails from where I canceled it. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY THEY ARE CROOKS. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RENEW YOUR SUBSCRIPTION WITH OUT YOUR CONSENT. PLEASE JUST BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY.

SmileBox doesn't work

Before asking fees for your service, you must provide the service itself. Now it's a piece of junk.
I shot a lot and chose your service reading good reviews of happy people (the reviews are probably fake). So it takes forever to download all of the taken photos no matter what device I do this from. Be it my new PС, or laptop, or even my pad sometimes.
But the last straw was when you deleted an entire album for no reason and justified it by your system issue.
Darn, then fix this crap! Why would I pay for this? I can't trust you, it means I don't need your website. Why? You can not guarantee my photos will be saved forever. Shame on you.

SmileBox be careful

They have hidden fees that are mentioned somewhere in the terms and conditions no one ever reads. So be prepared that they will charge you every year without telling you about it.
And you will not be able to complain. Why? Because read the terms, that's why!
Even if you don't use them anymore, they don't care. Once you ordered it means you have subscribed for their service. So be careful.

SmileBox unauthorized credit card charges

About a 1 week ago i gave smile box permission to withdraw $3.99
on a trail base and they deducted $47.88 that i didnot give them permission.Iam cancelling smile box subscription as of today's date..Aug.10 2017
iam requesting a full refund except for the $3.99 that i gave them permission to take.,
smile box owe me a refund of $43.89..
Please refund my $43.89..

SmileBox Charges after service was cancelled.

My SmileBox sevice was cancelled May 30 2017, through PayPal. Since then I have had two charges to my bank account for 9.72 cdn. plus 96.00 nsf fees. This bank is moving and closing this branch, so I don't keep any money in that account any more. The bank charged me 48.00 twice to not pay the SmileBox/PayPal charge. The PayPal account also says I owe them 9.72 as they claim to have paid the cancelled Smile Box charge. I expect a total refund cheque from PayPal or SmileBox in the total amount of 105.72. I will be sending this email to the Canadian and USA Better Business Bureaus as well.

PAYPAL uses a very complicated and slow method of complaint resolution, even though they advertise great safety and protection for users.

SmileBox Online purchases

This is a horrible company to give your credit card info too.
Two years ago my 2 yr old grandson passed away and my 30+ year old daughter had some memorial things made up for his funeral. She used my credit card info. to pay for memorial items. Last year Jan 2016 I get a annual charge of $48 and challenge the charge and get a $48 credit. To my amazement Jan 2017 I get another charge. Go through the e-mail Smilebox system only to be told it has been 7 days and they can not clear charge. I had contacted them 9 days previous and it took them all that time to give me the 7 day answer

SmileBox I was charged without authorizing.

I was trying to do a slide show for my Dad's memorial service. I signed up for the free trial. Once I figured out that the product SmileBox offers was completely unusable for my needs, I cancelled. A week and a half later, I have been charged 47.88 for something I never wanted. Now I can't log in to my account, and the site says I can't re-set my password. I have emailed the company and filed a fraud complaint with PayPal.

SmileBox Extra charges

I downloaded this SmileBox app and made a few cards there. I was not impressed so I deleted SmileBox from my PC.
One month passed and I already forgot about this site, until they day when I noticed that $50 disappeared from my card. I found out that it was SmileBox who charged me. So I went online and contacted these guys, they said that it was my fault that I did not read their terms and conditions. They refused to refund my money and continued to blame me.
Then I contacted PayPal and reported these guys. I also left several feedback online. These guys never gave my money back.
Stay far away from this money stealing scam!

SmileBox Be careful!

My son asked if she could buy an e-card for his aunt. I allowed him to do that because it was very cheap. Only $5. Soon we received and email that company received our money and the card was posted. It was silly of me, but I didn't red the whole message, only the first part of it. About three weeks later my credit card was charged $60. I called the customer service and they told that $60 was for an annual membership. But I didn't sign for any memberships. I watched my son purchase the e-card and there was nothing mentioned about it on the site. I was sure we did not agree to that. I checked the site again and found the information about it at the bottom of the site. It stated that if I did not respond their email within two weeks they would charge my card. We bought that card and automatically got a trial membership. I asked them to cancel my membership but they rejected. They said that they will cancel it after a year and will not refund the membership.

SmileBox Seller avoided us and hadn't delivered the order

My sister told me that she bought greetings cards from www.smilebox.com. She told me that she has paid extra sum for the faster delivery, so we wouldn’t have any problems. But we had them, because these cards weren’t delivered on time. We knew only seller’s email and we started to bombard him with the emails and requests, but it was completely useless. He hasn’t reacted or provided any help. Don’t buy from this website.

SmileBox They didn't provide the order and better don't pay them in advance

I choose the design and added my photos on the website www.smilebox.com. After that I got the email from the company. They asked to pay for the order on time, and I went and made the payment. After that I heard a lot of promises about the delivery, but nothing happened. I have no idea where my order is and the seller continues to provide some ###. These people are scammers and liars, who take money and provide nothing. Please post your comments about this company.

SmileBox withdrawal from my bank account

I decided to join Smilebox for a month. I sent a card to my sister, and thought nothing more of it until I accessed my bank account this morning, to find that Smilebox had withdrawn $42 + dollars from my account. After going through the 'Unsubscribe / Cancel Account ' process, I find that the $42+ is NOT refundable. I would NEVER pay $42 a year to send E cards. I am disgusted with this deceptive practice; $3.33 on a month by month basis is reasonable. Being charged for a full year when I SPECIFICALLY chose one month service really hurts! I am on an extremely limited income. Beware of Smilebox! They've certainly taken my smile away. CD, Chewelah, WA

SmileBox Still charged even after cancelling

I signed up for a trial, checked out the service and within a few days sent two cancellation emails. I received no response. Their Facebook page has a post that says to cancel your account send an email to support, which I did twice. Since they do not have a phone number, I was not able to find out whether I should have received a response back or if they do not send a confirmation back. Low and behold, they charged my card for their monthly fee. When contacting support, their representative was extremely rude.
I checked with the BBB and turns out they have a lot of complaints and a low score. Do not signup with this company.

I have cancelled my smile box last year in Aug. 2018 and still they are charging it to my credit card! I cancelled again in May of 2019 and still are charging to my credit card.

Exactly the same things happened to me, they have taken my money and when cancelled within the period they won't give me my money back and when I asked for an email to complain they sent an email back saying 'please refer to previous email, we consider this matter closed'! Awful service and a scam DO NOT give them your details!

The same thing happened to me as posted above! This company is a complete scam! Do not think "free trial" means ""FREE"! It's unbelievable that companies like this are allowed to operate!
