Raycist Company! They are currently having a 50% OFF sale (6/24/23) on foundation for dark skin types ONLY. If you have fair or light skin types (most common in Whyte ppl); you don't get the discount. Now my skin color is tan; but damn! That is obviously raycist. That is no good - just dividing us! I don't appreciate that having a blonde haired blue eye whyte husband & kids. Not at all! I encourage you to shop elsewhere.
Desired outcome: Be fair and inclusive to all people of all races and skin colors. Offer the sale to all skin color/all races.
smashbox gift set
I purchased one of the smash box holiday sets, which I wait for every year! But when I got home and opened every individual item (4 total) I realized that one of the items was cracked and one was missing. I wanted to know if there was anything smashbox could do about this situation.. I purchased this gift set from kohl's and was told I couldn't return since I had opened the makeup. I'm hoping to receive a new highlight set and am more than willing to send back the broken one.. The item that was broken upon unboxing was the 3 color highlight set and the product that was missing is the black eyeliner..

legendary lipstick audition
Legendary lipstick audition, I absolutely love the color the consistency the Chi in the long lasting where, however the product is on able to maintain its shape and form and becomes mushy, soft and a big mess in the tube. This makes it impossible to apply to your lips. As you are aware, this is a higher end product line and costumers expect these types of products to meet expectations equal to the cost of the product.
This is an epic fail. I would like to be compensated and I am even willing to get a replacement lipstick. I may have gotten a bad batch. Yet no very confident that this is the case here.

For a few months now I have been very keen on trying out smash box foundation..I have been to Truworths Pavillion about 4 times and is always told that there is no consultant to assist...only on my last attempt about a week ago I was told that the Estée Lauder lady would be able to assist..she tried however did not have my correct shade...I then tried Woolworths at the Pavilion about 3 times...first time a non smash box consultant assisted me and I was happy with the 3.35 shade that she recommended..I then requested if I could have small squeeze to take home and have a look at under normal light...she stated that the consultant is not available and should try the beauty extravaganza that was taking place at the mall...maybe they could assist...I went there only to find out they did not have the shade...why is there no consultant to assist or a shortage of shades...just to add to frustration I was about 32 weeks pregnant and walking across the mall just for a sample of a 3.35 shade...my baby is now three months old and I still have not managed to get a sample of the shade..disappointed but still willing to give the brand a try...

I have been using Smashbox cosmetics for about a year now and am extremely happy with the product quality, so I wiIl not be complaining about that at all!
My complaint is regarding the customer service at the Woolworths, Canal Walk branch in Cape Town.
I went to make a purchase and asked one of the girls for some advice, instead of being friendly I could see she was irritated. She asked me why I was using so many products and explained things to me as if she were talking to a child! This is not how a customer wants to be treated! Please have a word with your CT staff. I would never purchase anything from that branch again! Regards.

I bought a smash box lip colour at red square clearwater mall and when i got home and opened to apply, the lip sponge applicator fell inside and i took it back to red square only to be told, there were not able to replace it, and it had to be taken back to esteer lauder. Up to know i still have no communication from them. i had bought this metalic colour for an occasion which has already passed. Im super annoyed.
Smashbox cosmetics lies about ingredients - Gluten
I have Gluten Intolerance and read on the Smashbox cosmetics website most of their product are Gluten free. My review is they are lying, I called them and no one there knew anything about Gluten, they couldn't even tell me what any single ingredient in their products are made of.
Celiac patients should not trust Smashbox cosmetics, they are incompetant in understanding and ruthless enough not to care about simply putting a message that most of their products are Gluten free when they don't have a clue what they are talking about.
Smashbox cosmetics are not Gluten free and even if some of their products do not contain Gluten, with this sort of incompetance how could you trust there will not be cross contamination?
I purchased an eyeshadow trio at Ulta on September 11, 2022 and by January 11th all 3 colors in the palette have crumbled and I tossed it today. I was going to write a negative review on the Ulta website, my first ever, and decided contact Smashbox and let you know directly.
