SmartStyle did not do what I asked her to do when coloring my hair even after I showed her a picture

I paid 101.00 for a botch job on my hair, she was supposed to do low lights which I picked a brown color, and blonde highlights they were to be chunky not only did she not put any blonde in my hair she didnt use either color I picked, and it's just as it was when I walked into the salon! I work very hard for my money and after spending 101.00 on someone to literally stick foil in my hair and wash it and leave me with a wet head and send me out the door saying the color will come out when it dries. I am irate I will never use a salon again I'm beyond angry! I want refunded I dont trust these women to touch my hair she had no idea what she was doing and I literally brought a picture in and still come out with a 101.00 nothing job. I was very excited when we picked the colors everything looked right when she foiled it, it sat and we washed when my hair finally dries at home it's literally the weed exact same color...I want my money back! This pictures shows no chunky highlights of blonde and no chunky low lights of tge brown we picked the screenshot with the low lights and highlights was what I asked for and she had no problem to so that she claimed, I would appreciate my hard earned ml money refunded since I literally got my hair basically watered down I posted a before picture and after picture also.

SmartStyle hair trim

Let me say first, I have used Smart Style locations for years, in Illinois and Florida and never had a problem. On Aug. 5th I went into Smart Style @ Rosewood WalMart in Goldsboro NC. I asked for a 1inch trim. I felt a little uneasy as she didn't seem to know what she was doing.. I wrote it off as maybe I was nervous as she was new to my hair etc. Long story short. I got home, washed my hair and found hugh chunks missing and my hair was about 4inches shorter than I wanted. I went back the next day. The manager was able to somewhat repair the mess but even when I told her what happened her response was "what do you want me to do". In a fantasy world I would like to pretend that didn't happen and I had my other 4 inches back.. But.. Really? That person should not be cutting hair much less work in a salon. Now, how are you going to handle this?

SmartStyle haircut

I went to Smart Style 2052 State Route 53 Fremont, Ohio to get my hair cut I told her and show her how i want my hair cut she didn't cut my hair the way i ask her to she cut it so bad that I CAN'T GO TO MY CLASS REUNION AND A WEDDING She act like she didn't know what to do I will not go when she is working The Style name is Skylar she needs more training

I go to smart style in Haines city Florida okay I only go for cut they charged me the full price for shampoo they've been charging me $16 this time I went they charged me $22 I want to know what the exact price for a haircut I went April 15th my name is Annie Berry I forget the lady's name she asked one lady saying that they had went up but I only went last month it was $16 but just a haircut I never get it washed so why is they charging me in the full price for cutting my hair

SmartStyle color, cut, and all around customer service

My daughter and I scheduled an appointment online for July 24. 2019 with jesslyn trout for a color and cut ! Upon arrival I was told that the manager did not order the toner needed to do the baylage hair style my daughter wanted! The employee said she would go to the back and double check but up in her return she confirmed that the salon didn't have the blond color needed! My daughter and I then decided to get hair cuts ! My daughter just wanted a simple trim the cut she was given totally butchered her hair it was so uneven and horrible . I feel like a six year old could have done a better job. ! Once we got home I contacted the store manager and asked her if the store was really out of the toner and I also informed her about the hair cut and sent her pictures ! She told me the hair cut was horrible and that they would fix it but the store was Indeed out of toner ! The manager set us up to go in that Saturday and get the cut fixed and get my daughter's hair colored ! My daughter arrived on Saturday the employee named Brittany attempted to fix my daughter's hair and although it looked a little better it was still horrible and uneven ! No as bad a before but defiantly not good ! After the hair cut my daughter was given a price quote on the balayage hair color the price was going to be 169.99 which is absolutely ridiculous! We won't be back !

Tori, "Victoria", butchered my hair. I asked for long layers, dry cut, and no style at time. She used thinning shears, as well, and it was cut so badly, I HAD to go elsewhere to repair what they could. I have to wear it in a ponytail and hide the bangs!! SmartStyle price on shampoo and dry

I have a complaint about the price on a shampoo and dry. Where we live in Indiana the price is $6.50 to get this done but we were in Florida at the Store location number 613 (Ormond Beach, Granada Ave. location) and they quoted us a price of $17.99. Can this disparity between different locations be this much or were they trying to price gouge us on it. I mention this to the person and he said this is just the way it is and became very rude and obnoxious with us. Needless to say we didn't have it done.

I previously left a complaint about my recent disappointment with the hair color I received from a stylist at your salon. I was contacted, told I would receive a full refund. I'm still waiting for this to happen. I understand it can take a few days, but it's been more than that. I recently had to get my hair done again as it was difficult to style.

SmartStyle supposed to be a men's haircut w fade

I went in for a hair cut w a fade on sides and back. I asked the stylist if she specifically knew how to do fades. When she said yes I saw a pic of her and her fiance who was in military so I asked if she knew how to do military style type fade. She replied promptly w an affirmative eys sir I can. Upon getting out of the shower tonight I was checking out the fade closer w the mirrors. I soon realized why the lights were dimmed after my cut because I have no [censored] line around my freaking head where she stopped to add a diff size clip. Who the hell does the hiring of ur very unqualified workers. 2 months ago I taught my daughter how to fade her cousins hair knowing if fix it after. Well apparently I'll be letting my 7 yr old fade my hair before I EVER step foot in ur establishment again. Imagine how stupid I feel, then add on the fact I have her $5 tip. Boy I feel like a [censored]. Don't worry because they will hear about it as I go in and talk w them tomorrow.

SmartStyle granddaughter haircut

I took my granddaughter to get her hair cut to natchitoches la Stephanie was hair dresser. I told her and showed her I wanted hair cut to shoulder. She cut about inch above shoulder. And it's longer on one side than the other. My granddaughter is in tears about this haircut. I spent 40.00 today on haircut now I have to take her somewhere and pay to have extensions put in hair. Also the first under neath cut Stephanie made I told her no that is too short and she rolled her eyes and took a bad attitude with me. Then she said as she let layers down they would be longer and be shoulder length. I asked her again and put my hand on my granddaughter shoulder, I said will it be to her shoulder. She said yes and rolled her eyes again. Her hair is not in her shoulders. I am very disappointed in Stephanie service and attitude

SmartStyle unethical pricing

When the sign says "Basic Haircuts" $14.95 and you are charged $17.95 you are being defrauded. I brought this to the attention of the stylist and she was unwilling to remove the stolen $3.00. Then, when you contact the company they send you a tired form letter with no offer of remuneration. TERRIBLE customer service. My advice is to avoid this company at all costs. There are too many honorable salons to chose from.

At first an Appointment was Set with Management and I was late which was fine because I had nothing but Time that Day. I have Split ends and I know that. Still until this Day I do. I went to get Service a Week ago from this Complaint and wasn't in the Chair for 5 minutes. I paid and gave a Tip. I will never Trust them again; I specifically thought the Service was going to be better; especially from Management doing my Hair.

SmartStyle few highlights thru the top of my hair

On Friday June 1, 2019 I went in to smart styles salon in Salina Kansas at a little after 6 p.m. to just get a few highlights through the top of my hair to get me through until I could get in with my normal stylist. My hair is not shoulder length I had a graduated Bob. I'd already had grown out blonde highlights and then my natural brown red undertones Blended in. I'm not a professional by any means but I have had my hair professionally done for many years and never in my life have I ever had an experience like this. The lady that gave me was nice she seemed like she knew what she was doing and I just told her I wanted it Blended in through the top until I could get in with my stylist. I said do your thing I trust you but that's all I wanted. After two and a half hours later, half business hours mind you that she had to get permission from her boss and over a hundred pieces of tinfoil that I was not expecting but she said that was needed she pulled the towel off my hair and I was in complete horror I had black in my hair and the top of my hair was complete blond Orange! She had over-processed my hair to the point that she had started to try to blow dry it and my hair started falling out as soon as the brush hit my hair and I pushed it away and told her to stop. After that I told her to do no more to just trim the very ends because my hair was dead and I didn't want my hair chopped off anymore because it was already short enough knowing that I was upset and very very unsatisfied she told me I could come back in the next day and the only thing she could offer me was a toner free of charge but still charged me over $107. After that I have spent over $340 on my hair not including the $107 that I spent there. I'm still waiting in the mail for my refund from Smart Styles and that's the only thing that they can offer me after destroying my hair and after all the treatments that I've have to go through I sent them pictures showed them receipts of everything that they've had to do to my hair from the salon that is privately owned. And that is the best that they can do for me after they destroyed my hair. I will never again recommend smart styles for anything ever again I would pop in and out for a quick eyebrow wax or to get my son's haircut or to buy hair products there when I was in Walmart but I never again will do that ever again will I support smart styles again!

SmartStyle horrible management

This location is Not staffed with professional, trained stylists, The manager Debbie at this location was very unprofessional, She refused to call another hair stylus while the business card being In clear view (present Manager) debbie pacifically told me I am not calling Anyone I am busy with a client, She refuse myself as a client and great customer to use Store phone To contact another hairstylist that was not present, I witness the store phone ring and she did not answer the phone. All Hair stylists should be at the same standards, cut, color, braid and professional . Selfishness and lack of diversity will cause you're hair to fall out at this location Warm regards to the owner and all board members!

I was able to get my hair done by A young lady by the name of Chrissy She was very approachable and friendly her work Area was clean In organized and everything look to appear sanitize I explained to her what I wanted to get done and she answered all my questions While I was in the chair getting my hair done two other customers ask her questions and she answered them politely And offered them products from the store, She was very patient with my texture of hair And left me feeling confident in myself, Great attitude great drive, Great communication skills, this particular Hair dresser is one of a kind 10 star

SmartStyle the people who cut hair in walmart starke florida

I went to get my hair cut along with my fiancee last week after i called for 30 min constantly and no answer so i called walmart to see if they were open and i was told they close at 7pm so we went straight up there and to my surprise the guy was primping himself and when ask for hair cuts he said he could only cut my fiancee's hair so we left after he got finished. We went back up there yesterday so i could get my hair cut and there was 3 people in there cutting hair but the guy was having his hair dyed or something by one of the girls and the other girl that has red hair was with a customer. So the redhead told me they couldn't cut my hair cause the woman was doing the guys hair and they didn't know how to cut my hair and the redhead said she was busy and they told me to go somewhere else.it was only 5pm .

SmartStyle store not open

The Smart Style Salon in Big Spring Texas (inside Walmart) has hours posted. Sunday store hours state that they open at 10 am. A line of people were queued up awaiting service before 10am. We waited and waited. Even after the 10am opening time, no one was there to open the store. There was no activity by 10:15 for anyone to even open the store. It was dark and the gate was closed. Potential customers began leaving the line at 10:15. I waited until 10:30 for someone to open the store. No one came; there was no signs of life in the store. Big Spring does not have a huge variety of places to receive a haircut. This is a gross mismanagement of customers' time and the store's ability to make money.

SmartStyle no service for someone who is disabled in a wheelchair!

We went to smartstyle hair salon located in our local walmart. 9451 fm 1960 bypass in humble tx 77338.
My friend Jose Peralez in disabled in a wheelchair and has always gotten his haircut in his wheelchair since the chairs are not bolted to the ground he cannot transfer to these types of chairs!
On April 25th 10am as soon as smartstyle opened he was waiting and the only person there. He let them know he needed a haircut. He has had his haircut here before and never had a problem with them doing it in his wheelchair. There was only one stylist there at 10am and she told him she would not do his hair unless he transferred to the stylist chair because she didn't want to bend over to cut his hair in his wheel chair. We are shocked at the lack of service this employee showed my friend. This location is not handicapped friendly. [protected]@gmail.com

SmartStyle visit today

I have been going to the location in brooksville for years but today will be my last visit. around 11:45am today i went to check in was greeted and asked for my phone number. I said I thinks its XXX-XXX-XXXX when the cashier rudely said its funny you say you think thats it. I thought it was rude but we changed it in the system fine. Then she commented wait-werent you just here? Yeah you were here a few wekks ago-do you always get your hair cut every 2 weeks? in front of a group of people. I said i dont believe so I usually come about once a month. I am not sure when the last time i was there and dont embarass me in front of other customers its nobody's business so I just respectfully walked back in to Walmart and will never visit that place again. Low Class Establishment

I went in this afternoon (3/23/19). I was told to come back in an hour and the manager would be able to color my hair. I showed her a picture and gave a full description of what I wanted and DID NOT want. She sounded like she understood and said she would take care of me. Came back an hour later and the manager put me in her chair and we discussed it again...

SmartStyle haircut, color and bleach

I quit my job the day before I went to the St. Cloud Walmart hair salon. I wanted some highlights and a fresh cut for my orientation of my new job the next day. I was willing to pay full price. I showed seven pictures to the stylist and she told me she could Definitely do one of the pictures. She covered my head foils for bleaching the highlights, and after she washed it I didn't have high expectations but I expected to look somewhat decent. When she remove the foils I had about five different colors in my hair. My roots did not match the rest of my hair. My hair was fried. She tried to comb my hair and was hiding the brush from me so I would not see the strips of hair falling out. My hair was like gum. I sat in the chair for over five minutes looking at my hair and trying to run my fingers through it. It was still wet. I turn over and see she's been waiting at the register waiting for me to head over there. She did not take a mirror and show me the back of my head nor did she even ask me if I liked it. She took my kindness for stupidity and rushed me to get my things together while other stylists were staring at my hair. They knew I was sad. She told me it's $125, and she said gave me a $2.60 discount. She told me I would not have to pay for the length, but that was wrong it was still on the receipt: $18. I left and I hated it. I did not look in a mirror for the next 3 hours. When it somewhat dried, my hair looked even worse than when I walked in. I immediately called corporate because I have never been to a salon before, he said he would give me a refund of only $84, and I have yet to see it on my credit card account. Please tell me there is something somebody can do! My hair is damaged and beyond repair. I can't believe they still wanted me to pay. I cried and vented all day to my family and my new managers. I posted some pictures so you can see how terrible it is. There's no way on earth that this work is worth $125. Never going back/extremely upset.

SmartStyle horrible haircut

Valerie is a middle aged smoker who wears glasses. She did not heed my simple instructions. In fact, she cut it too small under Neath near my bottom of my skull near neck to start. - she stayed it was to start a pattern l.
The so called pattern should just have stated at the Neck!
If one didn't know current styles or lacks skill. They need to take instruction and listen then comprehend. OR not cut of more than you can replace. I was dissatisfied and know my self image is lower since I paid some one to cut likemy hair of like some Barbie doll in kids hands..
Everyone has bad days but she was not knowledge and did not ask questions or cut little at time and discuss with me..
I wish I was in competent hands with here. How can a hair dresser have a licence and be outdated or incompetent in ones skill.

My hair was cut chin length and finally I had to ask Valerie not to cut anymore onmy hair.. you are cutting it to short. I should have been in a long Bob undercut half inch at nape of neck no shorter.
Can we fix this? No glue puts back on hair and now I'm going to California on vacation with hats.. y we ah..
