Refund not received
I placed an online order with smartocity on 5/26/2020, my order # sy122846 was cancelled the next day, items was never shipped, I tried calling the number provided [protected] to get my refund ($37.74) but the contact number dont work. Payment was paid with my bank card, no refund was returned. Please look into this company that is so dishonest. Thank you, melissa m.

This company is too small, and too cheap to help you if your package gets lost or stolen! I wish I woul have check the package was coming from China. that right there should be a detourrant!
I will also not use Paypal either they dont help you resolve anything! all they have to show is proof that they mail a paperclip, and they will be off the hook! Karma does exist I know they will be reading all this reviews from jail someday!

Useless company. Sonic Tooth cleaner. Item didn't work and company refuse to refund. Smartocity have debited more than $3500.00 to the card I used. Could not find an international phone number and CS said they cannot receive or make international calls!
I consider they act this way because so far away. I have instructed a lawyer but company refuse to give a registered address to serve legal documents. If anyone knows of correct address then please let me know. Thank you.

On 8/24 I placed an order with SMARTOCITY for Mitghy Cleaner after vewing an advertisment on Youtube. My paypal account was charged the same day. Shortly after I recived a USPS tracking # and noticed that the item was being prepared for shippment.
As of today the tracking number indicates the item has not been shipped.

I've contacted customer servcie several times without resolution. 1st time = be patient, 2nd time = item was lost in shipment, 3rd time = the item will be shipped next day (on Sept. 7th).
Per the tracking # listed above and provided by the seller the USPS is still waiting on the item.
This is a company with suspect business practices that gives Youtube advertisment a bad name. I've fied a complaint with Paypal and will get my money refunded, but I'm surprised that Youtube does not vet or check companies prior to allowing them to advertise.
All in all I'd prefer the seller refund my purchase invoice with shipping.

Saw the Youtube ad for this cute little dancing, talking hamster. $25 bucks seems a bit much, but it's 2AM and I'm not at my best. Ordered this thing and Thankfully paid through PayPal. Got the hamster, it's cute, it's funny, for about 10 min., then it's just annoying. About a week later I'm checking my PayPal to verify I'd been paid for something I'd sold on eBay, and see Smartocity charged me $49.37! No Frilling Way! So I call the number listed there for Smartocity, it's PayPal's number! At least I was able to open a dispute to try and recover my money! Total ripoff artists. Don't buy from these guys (or Ladies, since they all want equality). Don't walk away, RUN!
I bought a teeth stain cleaner. It required a AAA battery which would not fit into the product as the cavity was
too small. No refund and no replacement. It was also over priced. They are a scam
I too bought 3 items, they create mightful and misleading advertisement. All of the items, including a simple can opener that cost me over $25.00 was worthless and they do make it impossible to return the items. Place your complaints at ripoff.com
scam scam scam, I used paypal to pay and THEY wouldnt stand behind me and my legitamate complaint about the 100% guarantee. So I disputed the charge to paypal from me credit card. THAT WORKS!

Thank you for all of you reviewing Smartocity magic cleaner. I was thinking of buying it, but was doubtful that it would work like the advert says. And as for the money back guarantee, as someone living in Australia money back guarantees are useless, because they do not cover the cost of delivery or return freight. And often the delivery costs are equal to or more than the product. Suppliers know this so they love selling to people who do not live in their country. And they rarely supply a return address, and put conditions on how the product is to be returned. Not worth the hassle.
I wish I had checked this site first. The drain cleaner finally got here today. It is a 3 oz. bottle of dry material which boils and foams when in touch with water. $20 for 3 oz.? What a rip off. The ad gave you the impression of a large bottle enough to do many clogged drains.
Why do I do it? Too good to be true? I'll never learn. You can't believe anything you see on the internet. Boo and Hiss to anything from China.

I agree with all of the above. Unfortunately I didn't do my usual research until it was too late. Sending the product back to China by courier will NOT ensure I get a full refund and I'll be shelving out more money. I have no trust in these inscrupulous people.
SMARTOCITY should be re-named SCAMocity as their products are inferior/sub-standard quality and extortionate prices.
I paid $24.82 (approximately £20) for a product (V-Clean) that can be purchased in the UK for £2.79 and FREE delivery!

I totally agree with the previous posts. I will never deal with this vendor again. I purchased the "Bright Smile" Teeth Whitening Pen. My order was shipped from Korea. The product is worthless!
This MIGHTY CLEANER IS CRAP. It is not worth any of the amount you will pay for it. Doesn't do what it says it will do.
Do not purchase this CRAP. In fact, I personally would not buy anything ever again from this SMARTOCITY. I had no idea this was coming from China. It's just another SCAM.
I didn't know that it was from china either. The way they advertise its like its local...shame on them! I get this cleaner with no directions, no paperwork...nothing! Now I have to contact them and ask how to mix the tablet with water? I don't even know that! They suck! I'll never order anything from them again!
