We're pretty sure that if Skyscanner showed up wayyyy more often on ComplaintsBoard and paid more attention to reviews and complaints, it would lead to better results. But for now, the resolution rate doesn't show successful interaction with customers. We advise reviewers to be careful when communicating with Skyscanner and be ready for the chance your problem might not get a response. It's also good to start looking for other solutions if your issues aren't fixed as you want.

Good Day
Never fly Swiss Air or Work with Expedia.com.I enjoyed a great vacation to morocco only to end it completely stressed out. I booked my flights via Expedia, an online travel agent via the Sky Scanner website. My return flights were Marrakesh - Geneva - Zurich - Beijing. As I was going to be in transit and had no intention to leave the transit area, I saw no problem. On arriving at the airport to depart, I was told I could not take this flight. The explanation was that there is a rule stating that one cannot transit in two Schengen areas for more than 24 hours. I was less than 24 hours but it was on two different days. This was unknown to me and there was nothing told to me via Expedia or Swiss air. I had been in contact directly to Swiss air with regards to other aspects of my flight, so there should have noticed this before. The staff at the airport gave me this reason and said they can't help and were quiet rude about it. Directly telling me its my own issue and walked away. I asked for help at the Swiss air office to call the customer care and they refused to allow me to do so, again saying it's my own issue as I did not buy it from them directly. As I see it, they set the route and times of the flight and have an obligation towards customers even if I did not buy it directly from them. On contacting Espedia, the agent said they can't assist as they get the tickets directly from Swiss air and they set the routes. At the end of that day, I was forced to buy a new ticket from Swiss air at 700 USD. Both Airline and travel agent denied accountability for not having any disclaimers and say I need to know my travel laws. To me, this is an easy way to get out.
The next day, after spending close to 100 USD on calls and sleeping on a friends couch, I went back to depart. I was the first to arrive and first in line but the last to board. Once again the rude Swiss staff had issues about my flight. This time I bought the ticket directly from them and only had 2 hour stop in Munich. They had no idea if I could take that flight now and made me wait 2 hours. What was worse was that management was called down to help me but never did. The lady issuing tickets had to go up after half an hour of waiting to state my case. After another 45 minutes of no one telling me anything, I decided to go up and speak to management who brushed me of stating I should have patience. At 12.28, 2 minutes before boarding can close, they said: ok go in. This was without even an apology. On the flight they mixed my meals and all together was the worst flight and experience ever.
Swiss air, besides being incompetent in knowing their laws and getting meals right were the rudest bunch of staff I came across. Its easy for big airline companies to push customers as they see fit, especially when you are desperate.

Skyscanner redirecting

Yesterday, I saw an offer for an Olympic Air ticket JTR-ATH on 27 Dec 18 at 38 Euros. I joined Skyscanner and I was redirected on ESKY? I made a booking and was asked for 49 Euros. I paid through my mother's account, but I was never given a e-ticket. Today 26 Dec 18, I contacted them in Greek on a Greek phone service and I was told that there would be an increase of 52 Euros (total 101 Euros)! Of course, I cancelled the booking and, fortunately, was given my money back. A few minutes later, I joined Skyscanner again and bought a ticket through Viva at 46 Euros with no problems. I might have done something wrong, anyhow I would like you to verify and keep protecting us from unfair practices.

Skyscanner travel trolley

This company should not be on a reputable search engine as they tell blatant lies are extremely unhelpful when contacted, even had someone ring us back posing as a manager when we requested to speak to a manager. They told virgin airlines that they had contacted them to try to amend our flight details a day before we even rang them! I would like to speak to someone about how bad this company is,

Skyscanner your flight

Always we buy tickets from your website, we trust you but this time We have paid for two tickets flights PCRRPG with Wizz Air in your website. We have tried several times from last night until this afternoon to get our boarding pass online but unfortunately your website wizzair.com We can not get it.
We did call to [protected]‬ you number no one answer it, just was on hold long time. We arrived in airport four hours before departure we asked to Wizz airline reservation desks no one help to get boarding pass.
After waiting two hours they forced us to pay both £64 pound which we are not happy with you service your website your customer service at all.
We have got lots of different tickets to everywhere in the world with you never had any problems. This is first time got ticket from company wizzair but they give us too much stress from last night until now.
We did recording everything in videos as proof.
We want our money back as soon as possible in seems banks paid.

Skyscanner travel up

This company TRAVEL UPN come out top on my search for Edinburgh to mombasa but every time you try to book ...after payment entered it advises technical issue and no payment taken ...Then someone calls and offers a more expensive flight.They continue to hold top place on search day after day despite flight not being available at the advertised price.

Skyscanner flight prices change while i'm booking

I wanted to book a flight for my husband today and while I was completeing the form on the MyHoliday page the price was increased by nearly R200 so I declined and selected the more expensive agency eDreams only to have the same thing happen!

I've always used Skyscanner but I will not be using this service if this is the way you treat your customers! You advertise one price and when payment is to be made you increase the price! I'm sure it's illegal!

Skyscanner gotogate website

Yesterday i had the same issue with the website GOTOGATE Brother. they showed me the correct flight until the payment page but they sent me the wrong flight ticket details to my email. finally they cancelled the flight and charged me with 51 Euros.

i think GOTOGATE is an unreliable and fake company and we should not trust it.

My advise to Skyscanner is to avoid partnership with that kind of websites (GOTOGATE).

Because they will loose good customers.

I have booked a ticket from Dublin to Hyderabad. My Booking ID is NYTIAR. When I was booking the order, there was no information about the overnight stay at London.

I have attached screenshot of final page before the payment. It was completely your system fault.

The error also didn't show any information about overnight stay in London. I am 100 percent confident that I haven't got any clue about travelling to London.

Since it was not my mistake and I don't have to pay additional fee for cancelling the ticket.Still, I was asked to pay 51 euro for the cancellation. I am really not happy with your customer service. I would expect zero cancellation fee. I am also writing the review in google and make other travelers aware of these fraud techniques.

Skyscanner booked a flight with a travel agencies skyscanner directed me to

I booked a flight Skyscanner redirected me to (gotogate) and they have now said an Airline company they booked it with( Colbart Airline) have filed for bankruptcy and have gone bust and they will not refund any money I have paid, as sad as that is that the Airline have gone bust I booked with them (gotogate). They are responsible for my booking not the Airline they use. I have asked them if they( gotogate) have gone bust or have filed for bankruptcy and if they have Skyscanner have a duty to inform everyone who uses their site that they should avoid using them and actually I find it shambolic that they would still choose to redirect anyone to their site

Skyscanner lastminute.com flight booking

I have booked a flight on 22 October 2018 from lastminute website from Riyadh to Dubai from credit card. Payment was immediately deducted and i received an email, however until now 5 hours from the departure time no confirmation is received from there end. Many times tried to call lastminute customer care number however no success. Need a full refund on the Booking ID [protected].

Skyscanner car hire

Easirent in gatwick London didnt give me a car after booking/confirmation.

I have booked a car on the 26 of September 2018, prepaid, received booking confirmation, arrived on time...

The guy at the desk made all sort of excuses not to give me a despite having met all requirements. I had nowhere to go local hotels were all sold out.
Received the worst customer service ever.

Skyscanner full refund not received

I booked a flight from Cario to Melbourne for the 13/08/2018. I booked through Skyscanner with tripair. Flight number:QF 8924 ticket number: [protected]

The ticket i booked was a total of 477.30 EUR ($774.19 AUD). However there was an error and mistake on behalf of tripair. After contacting them many times, having rude customer service i finally got through to them. They agreed to give me a refund of the amount. However they did not refund me the full amount. We agreed that tripair would take 30 EURO as a cancellation fee. They refunded me 404.85 EUR ($654.74 AUD). This is incorrect as there is 43 EUR ( $70.00) missing. We contacted them many times but they have told us this is correct when it clearly is not. If you have a look at the attached documents you will see there is a change in the cost of the value of the ticket is 25 EURO more and additional tax added on (7.58 EURO). They changed me more on my first ticket but when coming to get a refund the ticket price is changed to a lower amount so i get less refund back. This is unfair and i will be taking this further to consumer affairs if not resolved my skyscanner. tripair refuses to deal with this issue and are scamming me. Skyscanner is liable to this as i booked via your company.

Skyscanner flight network

For a emergency I booked a ticket through flighnetwork in Skyscanner.i got the confirmation email that my tickets are booked, however after 3 hrs they send the mail that it's cancelled and also they tried to reach me
1. They never tried to reach me
2. How can they send confirmation and send the cancellation for a emergency
3. The way the customer service spoke was harsh
4. I booked tickets for SGD .355 and after I call they increased to 390
I request to look into this issue and take necessary action
I hope to recieve a acknowledgment and if it's in vain then I have to report to Dingapote government indicating the site as scam

Skyscanner car hire

Dear all
As an trusted customer I have booked a car from your site to Easyrent car
For 3 days and as usal I should find someone from the co to pick me
Unfortunately thats was the issue I didn't find any one waiting I tryed to call them on the number in the invoice but the problem that the answer machine is speaking turkey only and I tried to find someone to speake to them finaly after searching I found him and he speake to them and they inform him that they canceled the booking because I was late for 2 hours and this is there policy's and I told them I already payed this is not acceptable and they reply this our policy and u can came collect your payment from main office and we could not provide a car for you,
And I rent an other car from other company after I have been delayed for more than 3 hours
The next day I went to easyrent car office in Istanbul the customer service in charge there call Dany
Inform me that they didn't recive any payment as this reservation was maid by website and they paying to them after 30 days and he confirmed to me that his company canceled the reservation from there side and they will not charge me anything and I have to return to the system and they will refund the payment for me.
After many emails from me and them they reply me that they will deduct 50 usd from the reservation wich is total amount 66 usd and they will return 16 usd
And this is wrong for many reasons
1) if I booked a car for three days and already payed they don't have the right to cancle the booking
2) if there is right terms for this issue they should make it for the first day only not for the hall reservation
3) this is for SkyScanner your co should not be a partner with this kind of companies that scammed your customer like this
I have the email reservation and all emails from the company if u needed

Skyscanner budgetair worst service provider

Recently I booked my flight tickets from budgetair which was shown by Skyscanner as one of the providers. Everything went well and was able to book my tickets. However, after few days I wanted to pre-pone my tickets, Mailed budgetair regarding my plans but there was no response from them. Tried calling their customer helpline. Unfortunately, the same issue, no response. Even called up their emergency number but without any luck.

I tried raising a request from budgetair site and this time I got an email from them saying that changing the flight involves certain amount and I agreed to pay the amount and requested them to provide me a quote. After this there was no response from them. After waiting for some days, I tried raising a cancellation request on their website, again I got a response, that we will charge certain amount for cancellation. I agreed to the terms, even though I am loosing lot of money just for cancelling the ticket and that too before a month of my actual departure. After my confirmation, it has been 2 days since then I have not received any response from them.

This is a request to Skyscanner if they can get in touch with BudgetAir and sort this out for me. Also please do not list any provider who do not care for customer and provide such a bad service.

As I really had to travel, I had no choice but to book my tickets once again and that means that I had to pay twice and haven't even received my refund yet. I am sure that I will get my refund within 5-10 working days but it would be really great if I can get a response from someone.

Skyscanner budget air uk

Hi would like you to be aware of budge air which comes up on yr price comparison sites. This company should not b where. I tird to book tickets with them during payment process was advised problem with payment I then 're tried payment and without any security checks it flashed up payment accepted. I checked with company the next day and received an e mail advising no booking had been made and I should 're book. I did it not with budget air. That was the start of my trauma 5 days later budget air took money for my account. When trying to cancel and review money back they did advise cancellation fee which I wasn't happy about it advised to cancel anyway. From then on they chose to ignore my e mails. I have now resolved this matter with my bank budget air still have not refunded money. I know this is not your fault but thought you should know how this company operate. I have also been o trip adviser and they have been operating In this way for many years

Skyscanner travelpack wembley

Your site directed to me to a travel pack Wembley for a flight etihad airways.

After booking this they refused to book the ticket unless I sent them I scanned photo of my passport which seems unusual.

I googled it and multiple people have had issues and reported it as fraudulent. Also etihad can't confirm the tickets

They also said he price will rise if they don't see my passport.

Skyscanner ticket not received

I booked my ticket for 16th August time at 2:15am fight from Dubai-Mumbai-Kochi and my return flight is 03 September at 19:05 from Kochi-Muscat-Dubai. I did'nt received my ticket in my email with the flight details. My name is Santhosh Achuthan, please forward my ticket and advise the total luggage allowance for both flights. I have paid AED80 for additional baggage.

Skyscanner click bait and waste of time

This website has turned into nothing but click bait and waste of time. the worst case, in a long series of cases, occurred today. a price advertised at 71$ but after clicking through to the next page the price jumped up to 761$ Really? Why waste peoples time, and try to gouge them for every cent they have. In all honesty it has been painful using your website. This is the last time. I will now use your competition's services. You have lost me and my close travel friends. At least other companies don't jerk you around. Every since you sold your company its been bad, and I bet your losing business all the time. How can you go from so good to so bad? too much emphasis on gauging your customers.in the end you will have no customers left.

Skyscanner kiwi.com

I would like to request Skyscanner not to use this company as a third party for selling airline tickets. We have been conned about luggage allowance and asked to pay £220 per piece of luggage, which makes the flights to La Havana, we originally booked for £750, a lot more expensive. We would have chosen the other options offered by Skyscanner if we knew the bad image and service Kiwi.com provides.
We were not informed when booking that they only allowed a small handbag to carry, and we would never have imagined they were going to rob us charging us 35% of the cost of the ticket on luggage allowance per person.
I have always used Skyscanner to book my flights, I am a frequent traveller and as everyone knows all the low cost airlines at least allow you to carry a cabin piece of luggage for free, we have never been gone through a scam like this in our lives.
Skyscanner should take responsibility of not misleading their customers taking them to Kiwi.com website where we are vulnerable to many scams by this company. I have read a huge amount of complaints about this company now, this should have been sufficient for Skyscanner to stop liaising with this fraudulent company.

Used skyscanner twice today and when booking flights I was directed to kiwi.com. payments went through then I was advised hours later that the price had changed. They advised paying the higher price. They also suggested baggage prices than were much higher than the airline was offering on their website. I hope I get my refunds back. Not planning on using skyscanner again.
