Shoppers Drug Mart xbox game card

Hello,
Unfortuanelly my son had bought xbox gift card without her parents from Shoppers DrugMart. We learned it today and my son had bought it yesterday. When I read shopping rules of this gift card about xbox, it can be sold up after 13 years, but my son is not this age. Maybe $300 is less money for you but for us it is important money. I went to there today, but I could take only information about when they did sell it? I want to take my money because it is not fair to sell anything to child. If your wish is eearning more money, it is your wish, but I need trusting my son and your employments and your company. I need this money probably you can understand my emotion. I am angry to your workers because they did not control or not to care him.

I did not he stole my bank card and withdrew it himself and then put the money on the card. The whole point is that they nevers should have sold to an eleven year old.

Shoppers Drug Mart vim mould remover

Yesterday September 10, 2019 I bought Vim mould remover. While at the cash the cashier asked if I would like a receipt or not. Thinking of doing my part for the environment I said no to the receipt. Turns out I ended up not needing the product so the next day (being today) I went to return the item. The cashier then informs me I can't return the item with a receipt.

I would have been fine with an in-store credit. If you don't accept items back without a receipt why is there an option to leave without one. I wasn't given the option of having it emailed to me (I did use my points card). This is bad customer service.

Shoppers Drug Mart fall in store

At approximately 1700 I entered the above store and slipped and fall on Left side.
Floors were wet from foot traffic, no rugs or wet floors signs were visible.
An employee seen the fall.
I reported the incident to pharmacist and another employee wrote down my information.

Another employee applied rug and wet floor sign after the incident.

I have pain and discomfort left side of back, left leg from hip area down to including lower leg.

Shoppers Drug Mart the cleanliness of the shopping hand held baskets

The hand held shopping baskets are so dirty at this store that I never use them. It is most unfortunate as I never buy more than I can carry. It must be a health hazard and will contact our health department about them.
Yesterdaty I used another shoppers down Ogilvie Road and the were actually much cleaner.
So please, please clean up the baskets!

Shoppers Drug Mart cosmetician

I went in to Shopper's tonight around 11:15 and couldn't help but notice the young lady working in cosmetics was on her cell phone, on speaker, talking about boys and being extremely obnoxious. I don't understand why this person is being paid to do this and disrupt customers trying to shop. This was extremely unprofessional and not what I expected to see at Shopper's.

Shoppers Drug Mart roblox gift card

I purchased a roblox gift card and once the transaction went through, I noticed that the back code had already been scratched off. I asked to exchange it but the girl refused and said you can't return/exchange gift cards. I said this is a different situation as I'm right here and we both saw that the card was tampered with. I asked her to call a manager, which she did and the manager didn't even bother to come out. Just told her to tell me that they can't do anything and to call roblox if there is a problem. The card didn't end up working! While the person I gave it to is going to call, I am EXTREMELY disappointed with shoppers and the service, or lack thereof that I received. You are a huge company. This was clearly not my fault and the store should have just given me a new card.

Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy service

My perscription for Blood Pressure medication in June was shorted on the first submission. The pharmacy advised a week or so later that the remainder of the script was available. When I picked up the remainder allotment the pharmacist advised not to use the medication past August as it would be expired.

On Tuesday, September 3rd I called in to the store's automated service to request the next refill. The automated system advised the prescription would be available Wednesday September 4th at 8:00 am.
This evening, Friday, September 6th at 9:00 pm I went to pick it up the new order only to be told that it had not been filled, the pharmacy was out of the BP medication. The pharmacist on duty indicated that a request 'probably' had been sent to my GP for an alternate script. I was told someone had 'probably' called me to advise. This was not the case I was not contacted.

My complaints:
1. The pharmacy dispensed medication charging me and/or my insurance company for drugs knowing that the expiry date would surpass the end of the supply provided. 21 days to be exact.
2. The pharmacy did NOT call to advise me that the refill requested the Tuesday prior would not be filled. I now need to follow up with doctor myself next week
3. This is the second time in a row wherein the BP meds were not available to fill my script even though I made the brequest days in advance
4. I get to spend the weekend monitoring my BP hoping the expired medication does the trick.

In conclusion I have been going to this location for decades. Not sure what is happening in the store but this is one if several incidents in the last few years that has prompted my, my family, and neighbours to go elsewhere.

Shoppers Drug Mart problem with pharmacist

I am totally ticked off right now. I work 60 hours a week, I have one day off to do errands, and I feel I wasted my time going to Shoppers Drug mart in Pembroke. I was trying to buy an over the counter medication me and my husband has been buying for 30 years, and he would not sell it to me because I didn't have a list of the medications we are on. We have been on the same medications for 30 or more years now. He said the reason was he wanted to make sure there was not a bad interaction with what we were on. I told him how long we have been taking it for and never had a bad reaction but he didn't care. It should be up to me what I put in my body not the pharmacist. I have been buying the medication at that location for years, and have never been asked that question, by any other pharmacist there. I live an hours drive away also, so when he asked if it would be ok if I came back with my list of meds we were on, I said it is not ok with me since I live so far away, and he still would not sell me what I was asking for. It was a freaking over the counter medication, not a prescription for god's sake! The guys name was Eric by the way, I want this guy spoken to or even fired, he acted like he was a doctor or something, all high and mighty, which ticked me off even more. Since when is a pharmacist more informed about my personal body than my own doctor? To me this a violation of my rights and freedoms. I will never shop at any shoppers drug mart store ever again, I don't care if they are giving everything away for free, I will also be telling anyone I know or run into never to shop there either!

Shoppers Drug Mart washroom not available for an extended period of time to a customers. rude personel.

A couple times I tried use urgently a washroom in that store, every time I was told that it is not ready for use. I am a customer and my health condition prompts me to a washroom quite often: both times I was in the store to get my prescription drugs. Since this happened more than once in a week or so, I believe this should be addressed. Refusal is absolutely unacceptable.

Shoppers Drug Mart couponing

Its been a year that im a loyal customer of drug shopper mart (seawaymall) since we lived in welland 5 yrs ago we get a good customer service..until last sat (aug 31) i had bad experienced with the cashier named "charlene" (old white lady)..Im a couponer and i used coupon to save..As a full time mom, not working i need to spend money wisely..I used my coupon in that store without problem and hassle..but that night..when me and my husband ready to check out she only allowed me to use 1 coupon in 1 transaction..Then i told her when was that policy start then she bring me somewhere to show that policy..but it is not sHowing that they only accept 1 coupon per transaction..Its says that they have right to refuse etc etc..Ok i understand that but the problem is why she need to refused my coupon without explanation? because she want it? she never told me anything it just she want it! i really accept that if she noticed that i use photocopied coupon or expired coupon or i did illegal things about couponing but its not..I also thought maybe she was lazy to do transaction with coupons..But that was 9-10pm not too much customer to make her busy!and the worst the 1st time she told us that i only allowed 1 coupon she told us in a sarcastic way just like i felt like a thief and get somerhing with them..I felt shes a racist too..the way she talked to us in the front of my little girl..because im asian and shes white?!?! i think there policy that "they have the right to refuse etc.etc." she take advantage of it..Shes lazy to do transactiin with coupon...I hope you give immediate response..And pls to the store give specific policy about couponing! you need to help your customer not humiliate them because all they want is to save a little amount of money! To the cashier i will not ruin your life if i used coupon and fyi there is nothing to lose to the store too if we used coupon especially if i do it in a right way and not againts the law of canada!

Shoppers Drug Mart kevin huang pharmacy manager swore at me for no reason

I'm Guninder Hundal [protected] [protected]@gmail.com. Today Sep2, 19 my wife called to inquire availability & then I went to above pharmacy at SDM to order prescription for my son. Kevin Huang was at pharmacy counter & I gave him prescription & both extended coverage cards (mine & wife). He looked at it & asked for Care card, which I did not have. He said he needs it. So I asked if he could use extended cards & he said No. Of course I have to now make extra trip & I didn't like it. So I turned around without saying anything & as I took a step, I heard in Kevin Huang's voice "[censored]ing [censored]". So I turned around back & asked Kevin "excuse me, what did u say ?" Kevin didn't say anything but turned colourless. I said "I heard u say [censored]ing [censored]. Now if u have something to say, say on my face" Kevin says "No no hmmm I'm Sorry". I said "I don't see any sorry. U will be sorry when I bring it with your superiors. Who is manager here. Pl call manager". Kevin says"I'm manager. I apologize it happened Sorry I'm sorry ". I said "I'm hurt & im not stopping here. I'm taking it to your higher bosses" Before leaving I asked the name of guy who was at next till & he said his name is Omar who would be witness. Then I went to front till & asked for supervisor & told lady Kamal the whole episode who shrugged her shoulders & gave me an old receipt to find website & complain online. I went all the way to Langley to get prescription filled & this would be the last trip to Shoppers. I hope my complaint is taken seriously & request Mr Kevin Huang be fired since this is no way to treat a customer especially when I did not say any disrespectful word. Sure I left without thanking for which I'm not proud but still don't deserve swearing by someone in service industry. Pl feel free to contact me anytime & I would definitely like to know outcome of this complaint to secure my confidence back in your establishment.i have every intention to exhaust every option available to me. We can even discuss it on our local live radio show heard by 1/4M Surrey people to get opinion & outcome. Thx

Shoppers Drug Mart customer service

We had a free hit or miss olg ticket and I asked this employee maria that I would like to replay the same numbers. She was rushing us and I don't know what she heard / understood but she ended up giving me 2 tickets with the exact same number.
She charged us for the second ticket (though we only wanted the free ticket) and kept shouting infront of everyone "you have to pay the two dollars" though we never said that we won't pay. We wanted to buy few more tickets but instead decided to clear the bill and leave. It was very insulting and demeaning for us.
We are very frequent at this shopper's
Drug mart and never faced behaviour like this before. Disappointed at shoppers for this kind of behavior. If you guys want to get back at us for further information my email is [protected]@gmail.com and my name is sharanyo.

Shoppers Drug Mart tera gear camping chair

Just before Father's Day 2019 I was in to shoppers getting a card for both my dad and husband. While I was walking I seen camping chairs with cooler bags attached to the cup holder. So I bought 2 chairs for around $50 a piece. Now I have 2 chairs that are ripped in the back both chairs. You would think for $50 dollars they would not rip so fast. And have both rip on the same back spot

Shoppers Drug Mart service

I was disgusted that for a Health and Beauty business had a disgusting smelly, dirt under the fingernails, geasy hair and bad breath person working as a cashier, She was slovenly laying all over the counter and 2 customers left their purchases and walked out. I had seen this person working 2 months ago, and she was smelly and dirty then.
Not a good impression for a health and a beauty place.

The wait is unbelievably long. The techniciens are rude and gave the wrong pills to my father then when he went back they told him he would have to pay for the correct pills with no refund on the pills they had given mistakenly. They blame everyone but themselves and then told my father he doesnt need blood thinners that hes been taking for 40years

Shoppers Drug Mart cashier giving hard time to customers, and verbally abusing and making fun of them

On August 29, 2019 I went to Shoppes Drug Mart to buy milk for my 3 school going kids.

I bought 15 bags of 2% milk which I buy once a month. I put 4-5 bags in the fridge and the rest of the bags I freeze them and use them by defrosting them as needed as I dont have time to go to the store frequently. I have been buying this milk every month for years and all the employes knows me and they dont have problem with me except one employee whose name is JENNEFER.

When I went to pay for the milk Ms. Jennefer said that that she can not sell me 15 bags of milk as she in her own openion think that I have a business and I am going to sell it. She called the supervisor who knew that I buy milk once every month and allowed the sale. It is very disappointing for me that even after the sale Ms. Jennefer started making fun of me by saying loud in front of all the customers in line that milk is for the people and not for the business and selling it again. I felt humilated that how come a shoppers drug mart cashier could make a false blame on me and making fun of me in front of all the customers. May be I should stop going to this Shoppers Drug Mart because of this particular employee. I had the similar incident with this same employee more than a year ago and I complained to the store manager about it but nothing happened. In my openion if she is so dear to the store then I should stop going to this store or she should be transfered to a sifferent store. God help the standards of Shoppers Drug Mart.

Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy carelessness regarding prescription refills, wrong client medical information released

On Thursday August 8 I called shoppers drug mart (Cedarcroft location) to request a refill for my prescriptions which was urgent because I was going out of town that weekend and didn't have enough medication to last me until I got back. I called them exactly at 9am when they opened and gave them the new fax number for my doctor and confirmed that they would send the request immediately. I had informed my doctor of this urgent request. I went to work and called the pharmacy back on my lunch break. They told me they had sent out the fax request but the doctor hadn't signed off on it yet. I called my doctors office and they told me he was busy but he would get to it soon (before the end of the day 5pm). I called the pharmacy back at 5pm when I was leaving the office to confirm my medication was ready because I needed to get it on my way home. The woman I spoke to on the phone was a different person than the one I spoke to in the morning and at lunch. She told me she only saw that a request had been sent out but that nothing was signed off by my doctor so she could not dispense my medication. I was extremely frustrated at this point because I had made it extremely clear that it was necessary for me to get my medications that evening. My doctor is very reliable and I did not doubt that he had signed off on the request. I had also received email confirmation from his office that they had sent the fax back to the pharmacy so it should have been processed. The pharmacist did not do anything extra to look into the file or the request and she did not consult her colleagues who may have had more information on the issue at that time. I was extremely upset worried that I would not have my medication on time (I cannot stop this medication without proper supervision) and i had work the next day and would not get another opportunity to get my medication before i left town. Fuming, i got on the subway and went home, emailed my doctor once again to ask what happened on the way. He emailed me back saying when they had sent the fax back, he didn't know what the issue was. About 3 or 4 hours later I got another email from my doctor saying he had called the pharmacy himself to ask what happened and he notified me that the pharmacy had been trying to reach me. This was strange because I had my phone on me all evening and I had not received any calls from the pharmacy (every other call I had ever made to the pharmacy had been made using my cellphone). When I did call the pharmacy back, the same woman I had spoken to around 5pm answered. She was very flustered and spoke very nervously and quickly, she apologized for the issue and said that she had read the screen wrong and the script had been filled and was ready for me. She kept repeating the same story over and over without letting me get a word in at all. She said she looked at my file on the screen and only looked at the last "action" on it which was a request sent out from the pharmacy to my doctor for a *second* refill, not the most important one which was the first refill (for me to get more meds because I was out) and that the doctor had signed off on it way before 5pm and it had been sitting there waiting for me. At this point it was about 10pm and it was too late for me to go back out. I was extremely frustrated and angry, asked her how this oversight could have happened and how dangerous it was that these mistakes happened because someone in a more dire situation than I could have had serious problems if they didn't get their medication on time. I explained that it was absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable that the patient is expected to take care of all of these internal communications which Shoppers Drug Mart offers to do for the patient out of convenience, and then they are not capable of even accomplishing that properly. It caused a lot of anxiety for me which I did everything I could to avoid by already having done all that work to communicate and message between the pharmacy and my doctor so many times that day. After explaining my anger the pharmacist apologized many times and said I could get the medication any time. She also asked me for my updated contact information as apparently she had been calling my old home number and not my cellphone. This was extremely peculiar considering I have not lived at "home" (my parents house) in years and have almost exclusively only ever contacted them using my cellphone number for years which has not changed. I told her no, I was not going to give the rest of my information and it was too late and I would have to send someone else to get the medication for me the following day. I told them I would not be going back to SDM for my medication needs ever again. I confirmed what information or documentation the person picking up for me would need or be asked for, and hung up.

The following day when I received my medication from my boyfriend who had gone to get it for me, I opened the medication package to make sure it was the right thing because I was skeptical of more problems happening. When I opened the package the medication was correct but upon reading the paper with the medication explanations on it I did not recognize any of the information. The first thing I noticed was that it said the medication was a pain reliever. That seemed strange to me because i was not on pain medications, i was on antidepressants. I kept reading and did not recognize any of the other information such as needs for that medication or side effects. I read the top of the paper to clarify the name of the drug and it was definitely not my medication. The bottle was correct but the paper was not. I then realized the paper of the drug explanation was not for me, it did not even have my name on it. It had a different patient's name and medical information. At this point I was absolutely shocked and horrified because I realized someone else probably had my own information and that made me extremely upset and uncomfortable considering this is supposed to be private and confidential information and now I was to understand a complete stranger had my medical information and I had theirs.

This is absolutely beyond unacceptable and wrong. A pharmacy is an extremely important part of health care and confidentiality and assurance of proper information, coordination, and communication is essential and by this incident SDM had not only violated my trust and breached patient confidentiality protocols but also caused me immense anxiety and frustration over someone's carelessness and lack of attention to my file, something that was not even "hidden" or hard to find but they simply did not do their due diligence in looking at my information properly and immediately assumed that I had miscommunicated with my doctor or that my doctor had not signed off on the request.

The patient medical information form is NOT in relation to my file, my name is not even on that piece of documentation and the medication for which it explains is not any medication that I am currently or have ever taken. This is a huge and extremely serious violation of client confidentiality and security as now I am concerned that someone out there has my medical information which I never gave permission to be released obviously.

I am looking for a formal apology and recognition from the owner of this pharmacy, I would like to see proper documentation of what will be done to address this issue and some offer from Shoppers Drug Mart to console me for my troubles and for the complete disregard for client and patient wellbeing. I will be removing myself from the shoppers drug mart pharmacy system and switching to a better and more reliable medical provider and I will be adamantly advising people to NOT go to shoppers drug mart or use their pharmacy because of this and many similar incidents in the past. I expect this issue to be addressed in a timely manner and to receive some monetary, credit, or alternative compensation for this immense violation of trust and confidentiality that could have very easily put me at risk of worsening my medical condition.

Shoppers drug mart and the owner of this pharmacy should be ashamed of themselves and if I do not receive notice of acknowledgment or any response I will certainly be escalating my concerns and reaching out to the press to expose this issue to as great of an audience as possible, along with whatever legal repercussions I am able to pursue.

Shoppers Drug Mart hajeva baqui - owner of pharmacy #2255/unwilling to refund for prescription filled without request

On August 15, 2019, my husband dropped off two prescriptions for me and picked up three prescription. One prescription was apparently on auto refill and i hadn't picked it up. I had never asked for it to be on auto refill and wondered why it was. the owner, Hajeva, insisted that i must have requested it and that they never put anybodies' prescription on auto refill unless they have the patient's permission and ID. I told her that I had never done so for this particular meds as first, it was too expensive, and second, I was just in the process of trying it out. Then I checked my text and found that on the day my husband dropped off the two prescriptions, they had sent me a text saying that these new prescriptions were to be on auto refill. So, it seems that what the owner claims that they strictly follow was nonsense, and sounds more like they will try to fill as many prescriptions as possible and hopefully the patients' insurance will cover it.

The total price for the medicine was 309.02 of which BCE would pay 247.22 and we paid 61.80.

I am demanding that they refund my money and the insurance company.
there is something really fishy going on here.

Shoppers Drug Mart Scanning code of practice (code 33)

I was at the shoppers drug mart in edmonton located at 250, watt boulevard sw. I bought a packet of cookies with a price tag of 5.99$ but it got scanned at the cashiers till 9.99$. The cashier said that he can only adjust the price but cannot give it under code 33. I showed him the location of the product and also there were no other cookies of same type that had price 9.99$. They just denied the consumers policy. Please look into the matter.

Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy

So this pharmacy knows that a specific individuals life is dependant on a specific drug aka that's why they have a doctor working there and a doctor telling them someone is in serious need of this specific drug. Well for the 4th time in a row I'm stuck without my medication or anything that it can be used to substitute because they failed to order the medication on time

Or it could be on a manufacturer's backorder... they cannot make medications appear out of thin air if it's on a manufacturer's backorder.
