Shoppers Drug Mart absolutely unacceptable customer service

Hello I'm writing this complaint in regards to my local shoppers drug mart. I would like to note that I'm a very frequent shopper at this location as it's on my way home from work. However I went in there tonight July 28th 2019 around 11:05pm and instantly upon entering was followed around the store by both by security and the woman working in the cosmetics department. I'm very disgusted by the way I was treated in this location and will not be returning as well as letting all those around me know to avoid this location as they greatly offended me by profiling me due to my appearance. I came in to purchase multiple items from that location and only purchased one item simply to show that I was In fact not stealing upsetting me further I will not be returning to this location ever again.

Shoppers Drug Mart I was insulted by your employee

My name is Connie Guo. Today, July 26, 2019. 6:45 pm, I purchase the Nicotine Gun 2mg Fresh Mint at Shoppers located at 255 Morningside Ave · (416) 282-1129. One of your male employees verbally insulted me in store, because I pointed out the price was not correct and did not accept his very unprofessional and inpatient explanation. He said to me:" Just arguing for 2 dollars. I can give you two dollars by myself. " He also repeated several times until another female employee stopped him.

Nicotine Gun 2mg Fresh Mint has been $50 for 2 packages for a long time. Also, the price tag has shown it as well (I have taken the photo). But past recent 6 to 8 weeks, I continuously experienced the wrong price at $ 52. Most time I forwarded the issue to the cashier and obtained help.

As I did before, I went to the cashier to help me correct the price. staff said the price is $52 for 2, but not $50 for 2. I corrected staff and shown them there were not any tag $52 for 2 over there, all are $50 for 2 packages.

Later this male employee came out said" the system showed $52; the price changes every week; you cant buy $52 with $50; I explained you enough; Just arguing for 2 dollars. I can give you two dollars by myself. "That scenario above is the procedures he used to treat customers.

I have purchased in the store for many years and to be considered as a loyal customer. it is unaccepted to be treated as today your employee did.

I attached a photo that I took from the shelf show the price $50. Yet your staff said it is the price for items besides. I don't see any $52 price.

I request your formal apologies with writing by this employee; guarantee to provide the right price tag for your items. Otherwise, I have the right to ask paying the price as tag marked.

I also reserve the right to take legal action for your insulting action.

Shoppers Drug Mart pricing errors and $10 rebates - the store did not give me the rebate.

Hi,

Today, 24 July 2019 around 6 pm I went to the Pharmaprix -Parc Jarry (Store Number: 1875) to buy some baby diapers. I went to the baby section and found that the Pampers diapers (96 and 84 pieces) #1 size are on sale and the price tag was of 22.99$. I got one packet and went to the cashier to pay. But the scanner showed the price is regular which was 34.99$. I told the cashier that there is a price error, and she should verify the price. She called someone (according to her it was the manager) as she was not that reluctant and his name was Jonathan. He went and check the price tag and it was 22.99$ as I mentioned to the cashier. But Jonathan told me that it was a mistake from the morning manager Mr. Tony D. Sciallo who did not remove the sale prices which have been expired on July 19, 2019. I went with him to check the expiry date of the tags and found that there are 3 or 4 diaper products which had sale until July 19, and they had never been removed since. I told them few times that I should still get my 10 dollar rebate as it is a massive error with a wrong price tag in several products. Jonathan (the acting manager!) told me that he cannot give me the rebate or at least the price showing on the wrong price tag (22.99$). I have to contact the morning Manager Tony D. Scaillo. Attach is the hand written of Mr. Jonathan to Mr. Tony D. Scaillo with whom I am supposed to meet in a later day explaining all the incidents happened this evening.

I do not have time to go in the morning to meet Mr.Tony D. Scaillo and explain to him what happened last evening to get the rebate. I believe you did not follow the office de la protection du consommateur's law and it disappointed me that the big mistake you had in your store sine July19, 2019.

Shoppers Drug Mart lack of product - july 20 & 21, 2 days only sale of no name facial tissues - 6 pack for $3.99

Your flyer offered a 2 day sale but your stores have insufficient product to meet demand. I went to 2 locations on the morning of July 21st only to find that it had sold out the day before.
I was also told that a 'rain check' was not available on "2 day sale offers".
From what I could tell of the display area there would not have been much stock available to start with.
When I purchased some last year there was a large pallet size area of product.
Disappointing and misleading advertising I believe.

I had gotten meds from the pharmacy from this location to use before my surgery and told me I only needed 1 bottle and can return the other one as I didn't need 2. It was never opened and the seal was still on it. Joanne the lady at the pharmacy without me finishing what I was saying said I could not return the item rudely. Never returning back to this location again thanks to her.

Shoppers Drug Mart service

Every time I go into the shoppers drug Mart in Forest Hills in the cosmetics department the girl that's there is always visibly upset or angry. Often looks like she's crying and this turns out to end up giving bad attitude and poor customer service. I think she needs to learn to leave her personAl life at home. I don't know if it was a bad day but then it happened again and again I asked Someone if I could speak with her manager and it turns out she was the manager. I think they said her name was Emma. But really just a word of advice leave your home life at home and put your best face forward going to work

Shoppers Drug Mart service

Going back into the shoppers at Forest Hills in Dartmouth was a bit torturous for me. You see last time I was there me and my two sisters were followed around by a pretty girl with long blonde hair who we think her name was Gemma you see we are of African-American descent and we felt like we were being miss treated and followed suspiciously because of it call mom we were standoffish of this blonde girl because she made us feel uncomfortable. My sister even thought she heard her use the N-word to describe us under her breath to another person. We mention this when we got home and other people of our family knew exactly who we were talking about I felt uncomfortable when they went in the store as well. Anyways it was nice to go into this beauty Boutique and realize that she no longer is there. Thank God you finally weeded her out. There is no room in this world for that kind of racist actions. This will make our visit to shoppers drug Mart much more enjoyable

Shoppers Drug Mart pc optimum points

Why do I have to beg for my PC Optimum points? I have to watch my account like a hawk because there are points missing every transaction. Then I get extra points if I use my PC Optimum mastercard but when they aren't applied, Shoppers says to contact my credit card company, and my credit card company says its Shoppers who needs to add them. Its absolutely ridiculous. All I get it robo-replies. No personal service. I was even told an offer was expired and thats why I didn't get the points. It was still on my app and I had to do a screen cap just to prove it to them. The points were added but no further emails received.

Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy

Just went to pick up my monthly prescription. Owner and other assistant working behind the counter for a long. Did not even bother to look up. When I asked if I should come back they said they would be there in a few minutes. A white customer in a suit comes up and the assistant promptly says I will be there with you. Then went to assist him even though I was there first. I complained to the owner pharmacist he just said ok. No apology. This is the third time I have received poor customer service at the pharmacy in this Markham location. Guess they figure all the homeowners must come to them!

Shoppers Drug Mart the security guard

I went to shoppers drug mart around 1030 last night to buy a case of pop. I waked I'm amd went to the back where I know the pop to be kept. As I walked I noticed a man following oddly close to me I stopped and asked if there was a problem. He said "yes I'm following you" i said " I see that is there a reason for this" he said yes you were at main and Sherman driving away with a girl hanging out of your car ? I said no I'm sorry you are mistaken it was definitely not me. He than went to the front of the store and said you were in this car and started writing sown the plate ... to a car that doesn't belong to me but I do drive. I than asked for his name so I could phone his company and get to the bottom of this because I'm sure this is not the protocol. He said no.i don't have to do [censored] it was you I know what I saw. He was yelling. He was rude ... beyond rude and I was humiliated in front of the staff and all the remaining customers I'm he store. I paid for my pop and two bags of candy and left. I called my husband crying he was around the corner waiting for me to get him and we went to try and get his name and information to call his boss and see if this was proper behaviour he was getting in my face and my husbands and yelling. At this time the employees called the police. We went outside and waited about 20 mins and because we have children at home we left. I don't know if the police came or not. I paid with my bank card and they have my husbands plate number so clearly we're not hiding. However i had just dropped off my twelve year wa d his friends what if they were with me. I use this location actually was there earlier in the day and I go multiple times a day I feel humiliated and attacked and it was very wrong to have happened at all. I did not do what he is accusing me of I am a forty year old mother of five and this Behaviour is u acceptable. I will be Calling the head office to follow up on this
