Shoppers Drug Mart Passport photos and photocopier

I want to know why, during this time of increased use of Canada Post for on-line purchase deliveries, has your store at Six Points plaza in Etobicoke, Ontario, decided that not only should a single person be handling all of the post office customers in the morning but now the employees trained for the post office also have to take passport photos and handle any enquiries/complaints about the photocopier? These services used to be provided by the front of the store staff but now are located next to the Canada Post facilities. It's very frustrating to be waiting in a line up that goes to the third aisle while a single employee takes time from providing postal services to take passport photos or try to fix the photocopier.

Shoppers Drug Mart Beauty department

On June 12 a bottle of Clarins Body Fit creme was bought for me by a clinician working at the store who is a good friend of mine at the Rideau Store in Ottawa. Before the purchase I asked if the product could be returned and the answer was"yes." Nothing else was said about the packaging and I had returned an item to the store before just using my Optimum card so I thought this was the policy. After using the product for 2 weeks I spoke to my friend who I bought the product from at Shopper's Drug Mart about the product not being effective. She told me to use it for longer. So I did. On July 4 I showed the clinician from the store who I bought the product from that the product did absolutely nothing for my legs. She agreed and told me to return the product to any Shopper's Drug Mart store. I did not have the receipt by now or the packaging but it could be traced on my Optimum card. I was told to phone the Rideau store to get a copy of the bill and have it sent to the Mitch Owens Branch of the Shoppers Drug Mart near me.
So I did this but the Supervisor at Shoppers Mitch Owens branch (after speaking to the Supervisor at the Rideau Centre told me this would not be acceptable. I was told I could not return the product. I asked my friend who I bought the product from to speak to her supervisor at Rideau Centre store and she did. She spoke to her supervisor today and she told me I could not return the product as I didn't have the original packaging (I wasn't told to keep it) and that even though it had been opened they would have taken it back if I had the receipt the packaging and it was within a month. They have a receipt that I bought it from Optimum, it is within the month and so the only thing they don't have is the packaging. But still they won't give me a refund. Today I have called exactly 6 people at the Shoppers customers Care number at [protected] and have been hung - up on 3 times, and no one was of any help. This product cost $55 and one complaint officer actually had the nerve to say I was complaining about something that costs $55 dollars. I am just very discouraged with Shopper's Drug Mart and quite honestly thought you were better than this. All I really want is a refund. I do all my drug need shopping at Shoppers Drug Mart which is just at the end of my street in Ottawa. I have all my family prescriptions at this Shopper's Drug Mart and I don't want to switch pharmacies. But I am very disappointed in the way I have been treated by your store especially given the fact that I asked if I could return the product and I was told yes and not told I needed the original packaging. I can't begin to tell you how many items I buy and if I kept the packaging from all these items my house would be a fire hazard. Please do reply to my complaint as I have been put on hold, hung - up on and not listened to all throughout the day as pertaining to this matter. Yours truly Suzanne Smith

The Chief Executive Officer, Shopper Drug Mart, I am writing to register a complain while my wife and I were shopping at you store located at 3781 Strandherd Drive, Nepean, Ontario on 22nd of May around 11 am. A few days ago I bought jamieson vitamin E for 12.49. Then I saw shoppers ad for vitamins up to 50 percent off. I took the time to follow up but when I got there was astonished with what I found. The vitamins were 50 per cent off but the regular price was 26.99 so making the price 13.49. Really I realize that walmart is a discount store but lets be...

I was looking to buy something and notice that this manager was talking to the employee. And i notice that she's harsh and abusive with the employee, the employee was humiliated and was really intimidated. Knowing that it shouldn't be done in-front of the customers because the psychological and emotional effect on the employee after that incident will...

Shoppers Drug Mart An email from your company

I received an email that states you are giving priority to frontline healthcare workers. While I agree frontline workers should be given priority, I am absolutely disgusted that you are completely forgetting the other people that are on the frontlines. What about the military people like my boyfriend or the truck drivers like my ex husband, the father of my children. He is out there every single day driving to I different towns, cities, people. He is risking his life to make sure everyone has food And other products that we all need to get through this, including all of the products in your own stores!
If not for his selflessness and so many more like him you wouldn't be able to operate your business. Unless of course you yourself would be willing to put your safety on the line and deliver the products you sell in your stores?
There are other people on the front lines and you are essentially telling them that their sacrifice is not as important because they are not working in the hospital.
My kids have not seen their dad since this all began because I have MS and one of our three children has a terminal brain tumour and he is not willing to risk our lives.
My ex husband is not exactly healthy himself. He recently suffered a massive heart attack. He died and was revived three times, he had 7 out of 8 valves blocked and the surgeon had to abandon the surgery as he died on the table twice and it was too risky to continue. He luckily survived the night and was able to have the surgery. He has a compromised immune system but still went back to work to make sure that stores like yours could still operate! But he is not entitled to that same respect that you are showing healthcare workers?
How dare you! Your company should be ashamed of yourselves.
My boyfriend and my ex husband are both fighting for our country every single day. It's good to know people like them do not have the respect from your company that they deserve!
This breaks my heart. I truly thought you would be better than that. Apparently I was wrong.
But that's fine, I will make sure that everyone knows how little respect you have for people that are literally essential to keeping your company operating.
Unless of course you are willing to respond to my children and I ASAP regarding this matter.
Explain to my dying daughter, my two boys and Myself why their beloved father and stepfather are not important enough for you to show them the respect they deserve.

Thank you.
Lindy Guitard.
1728 Dewdney Ave E
Regina, Saskatchewan
S4n4x8.

I am disabled, I have three children that I cannot afford to feed right now. I am in Regina, while my boyfriend lives in Alberta on the military base.
All of this is made harder by the fact that I have a dying daughter who requires expensive medications and other daily needs that I cannot always afford, but still my children ask for nothing except respect for their dad who is fighting for our country every single day.
I hope we hear your response to this matter very soon.

While I understand that times are stressful I do not appreciate a back counter pharmacy assistant adding a condescending remark back to me when my prescription refill is delayed (fax for refill did not get received). I expect professional service, not someone trying to pick a fight when I am already stressed. I have used Shoppers for many years, proce...

Shoppers Drug Mart Red logos, red cross your logo is maybe too red.

Red red red... a number of business use red as they are based in the USA. The health care red is eastern health, working class health and local health when people are in need of childhood vaccinations. Using a red health care symbol if and when your red in health care is encouraged. The problem is red is indigenous people use red.in travel and tourism Indigenous people are the red. Mexico and Italy are red/green as populations are half Indian. A number of midlatude countries use an ethnic red, northern Africa, Algeria, Arabia in northern north south or eastern countries red is delicate, they might use a black yellow red? Red everywhere is attracting indigenous travels who are low tech and maybe not able to pass grade 8. When you have products in a store that relate to technology it important to indicate your use of technology rather than an Indigenous logo. Orange is construction, they might go to your store, The plummet is blue he might go to your store, the farmers are green yellow they might go to your store and first nations are Danish catholic across from the Asian mall. They use a red square in their logo for eastern goods, using a red health care symbol or red logo square doesn't need to take up your whole logo. Red logos are for indigenous or northern native stores, they are not allowed technology.
RED IS LOW TECH INDIGENOUS, they look yellow? American republicans live around indigenous groups but they are actually Italian so that's not the same as the white red indigenous people, the RED I. Canadians have green eyes sometimes like the Irish and danish or blue eyes, red everywhere is offensive. I have a business, I use yellow white orange and then I put a small health care red cross with a circle in the left hand corner Like the soap EO, I don't use a health care symbol as my whole business logo. Groups from Algeria are causing political problem, they are "red/green" in travel, were a white yellow green orange? In travel colors and systems.
# stop the red, technology is NOT red. Red as a health care symbol is local working class health, use the right health care symbol. Blue orange and green (agriculture) and electric yellows.

TAKE a Break and fix your logo? People who maybe did not pass grade 8 math are working in your store, from the native reserves? Include your trade mark, health care mark (cross of sifel) and a warning mark if and when there is Technology the [protected]@! Or try out some logos and see which one works.

In the average family the people who pass a level of high school do the shopping, usually the personal who is allowed technology is not the "cat"? red? Within red in health care their are all different groups. I'm red in health care then I'm more northern that the northern (red cross) then Blue technology.

Gas is yellow, black yellow, yellow orange not Indian elephant indigenous?

Shoppers Drug Mart Prescription refill amounts reduced to 30 days from the usual 90 days.

Last week I received only 1/3 of my usual prescription renewall amount. The explanation given wasn't clear, something about the COVID-19 situation but didn't make sense to me.

In keeping with current Isolation directives I would prefer to visit stores as infrequently as possible, especially as I'm diabetic and 75 years old.

Can anything be done to correct this, or to provide a logical explanation?

Shoppers Drug Mart Blood Pressure Measuring Machine

I am a senior citizen who suffers from high blood pressure. At about 1 pm on 28 March 2020, during the COVID 19 crisis, I went to measure my blood pressure at Shoppers Drug Mart, Meadowvale Town Center, Mississauga, where I have been a customer for 15 years as my personal blood pressure monitor was not working properly. I noticed that the blood pressure machine at the store had a sign 'Out of Order'. When I checked with one of the pharmacy staff they said that the machine was out of order and that I should try other Shoppers Drug Marts in the vicinity. So I visited three other Shoppers Drug Marts in the area all of which carried the same sign. I then visited a Rexall Pharmacy in the area and to my utmost surprise found a different sign 'This device temporarily cannot be used due to the COVID 19 situation'. If only Shoppers Drug Mart had the correct messaging as Rexall Pharmacy, I would not have had to waste my time visiting other shoppers drug marts looking for a blood pressure monitor.

I consider this kind of messaging deceptive and confusing and causes nothing but harassment to the public, specially senior citizens.

I would strongly advise Shoppers Drug Mart to change the messaging so that other customers who do not have their own blood pressure monitoring devices or when their own device is not working properly, are not put through the same harassment during this period of COVID 19 crisis when all medical clinics are closed for visiting a doctor to check blood pressure if the patient feels uncomfortable.

Shoppers Drug Mart pop

my husband has been buying Diet Coke from Shoppers for many, many months at $2.49 for 6...It seems now that the Corona virus is here and money is tight that the store would be helping keep their customers except this week when we noticed in the flyer at the same diet coke is now $2.79 for 6 bottles...Is this some kind of price gouging or taking advantage of the people when there money is tighter...very disappointed in your store It doesnt seem much to you but 30 cent jump seems hardly reasonable...now i can get it at the old price somewhere else but I wanted to support Shoppers...but not sure now...hope you can rectify my concern...thanks...disgruntled customer

Shoppers Drug Mart copay on medication refills

they are now only giving 30 day supply on 90 day scripts. they charge you copay each month for something you usually paid once every three months. feel they are taking advantage of the virus to get more money out of you as if things arent bad enough.this happened today at shoppers drug mart london dundas street east.my copay today was 12.33 and that would mean i would pay an extra 24.66 in a three month period.there is something wrong with this overcharging of something we have no control over.

Associate used COVID as an excuse for her messing my incontinence order for the fifth time in about eight months. Shoppers Drug Mart should be Canada's last choice for drug store. Even the management has attitude, like they are self entitled, to treat people poorly. It was tolerable because they were convenient, now, during quarantine, Shoppers has left me...

First till suddenly ready to accept payment- we pay via credit card - then note sale prices not applied on Ricola lozenges, polident, 3 Carlton cards. Elapsed time at checkout- 15 minutes.

Shoppers Drug Mart Absolutely unprofessional and disrespectful treatment and service at the store time after time

Pharmaprix at 1000 Wellington St in Griffintown Montreal is the worst place in therm of customer service and absolute lack of any respect regard for the customers. This has been going on for sometime and today March 9 2020 I spoke with the manager IVAN and asked him if he could assure that his staff are respectful and professional towards the customers who pay their salaries and the manager IVAN told me that is what you think that customer pay our salary and our staff are fine..! So that explains all the mess at the store because the management thinks that they are running some sort of charity or perhaps a huge favor the the public. Even if it was a charity they should do it with respect. So I would like to know is this Loblaws policy that management at their pharmaprix store should mistreat people and then deliver an attitude on top?
