ShopGoodwill did you resell

Hello my name is Marcy, I have spent probably $13, 000 on orders from you. I have never had a problem with a item being taken down once I have contacted the store.
However this store refuses to do that. I have contacted them so many times. They just send the same reply over and over, I am sure they have resold it and they still refuse to take it down. I am very upset that I am not getting anywhere with them.
So that is why I would like to file a against this store.. I am not going to stop this until it is taken down from my page on open orders.

I appreciate you taking the time and hope you can help.

ShopGoodwill major overcharging for shipping on non-large items

My complaint is strictly related to the huge disparity in shipping cost for same items. I personally have been overcharged for shipping after winning a bid. You have no option to dispute the cost.

Case in point: Sterling Silver Plate Flatware-I have bid on 12 person place setting (96) pieces with solid wood cabinet shipping is estimated at $8.96. That is acceptable, conversely to that transaction a 6 person place setting (32) pieces without solid wood cabinet is net 6.2 lbs. but the shipping charges are based on 35 lbs. IMPOSSIBLE!

It is my contention that the Low Buy it Now Price is bolstered by overcharging for shipping. Which in my opinion constitutes "fraudulent overcharging" or perhaps "bait and switch."

Please advise as to next course of action.

ShopGoodwill microscope-bidding process

I bidded on a microscope, with 1minute and a few seconds left I got out bidded... I videoed the page because I was curious as to how long it took you to notify me that I had been outbidded... It was down to 1minute and then the other bidders-bid populated on the page (a little less than 1minute... There was no opportunity for me to bid, 'auction ended notice' populated... I am really concerned and pray you can explain to me about how bids are allowed less than one minute and the lead bidder is not given an opportunity to counter-bid... I have lost many bids and I have never complained..I feel I must challenge how that auction was conducted... (Product ID: [protected] - Nikon Stereo Microscope Used Untested) Auction today 9/27/19 (I have the video/screenshots which shows the TIME increments of the auction..

I sent a message asking if I could have more time to pay that I wanted to combine everything together to save on shipping, shopgoodwill doesn't make anything from shipping so I thought I could spend more if I was to save on shipping, my item expired as I was waiting on a reply but wasn't worried as I knew they could fix it so I could pay if they couldn't give me more time, I have spent a lot of money in this site, over $500 this month and it's only the 5th of the month, I think of myself as a good loyal customer, the employee that I spoke to on the phone that refused to fix it so I can pay told me 'Oh well"seriously! This is how a customer get treated, then tells me"that's beside the point"when I tried explaining why it wasn't paid that I was waiting for a response from them, she said oh I remember you, I'm the one that relisted it, you can bid again she went on to say, didn't like the fact I won it a a reasonable price, as much money as I've spent it's about time I got an amaizing deal I thought, I told her I was going to contact headquarters and then hung up, she refused to give me her name as when I asked for a manager she responded"how can I help you", I said is this the manager, she said once again"how can I help you", not clarifying that she was indeed a manager or not once again I asked is this a manager,"what do you need" she responded, all in a rude tone of voice, I get it! people have bad days, but she was just plain rude, Thanks again Tammy Templeton

I do want to say to everyone that may read this, , I have been shopping in ShopGoodwill.com for awhile now and absolutely love the site, only a couple issues besides this one is not bad at all for all I have purchased, and the money goes to very deserved causes, , I filed this complaint because I have spent so much but yet get treated the way I did from an employee is unacceptable, I have went past the due date waiting on a response and never had an issue with not being able to get my item, , I recently received a beautiful 14k gold ring instead of the 10k earrings I purchased and contacted shop Goodwill so I could send back the ring because I knew someone out there was waiting for it, , yes I want my necklace that I waited to bid on, set that time aside because I wanted it, then I have to deal with a rude employee telling me no! I love this site but I'm so upset I will stop shopping on here all because of one rude obnoxious person, , , not because there is issues with the site

The item in question is still on my order page but yet was relisted right away, , I told her I still wanted to purchase the necklace and she said you can bid on it again, , , , I am livid

i got kicked out of this goodwill due to spoussly stealing when i didnt steal. but i returned the item that i spoussly stole. this store is always disgussting and has very poor custmer service aslo they dony have room for products. 8/21/2019 i got a call stating i wasnt allowed to go back in because" i bascacilly stole A 10 dollar product" well i wont be shopping there anymore its not ada accesible.

ShopGoodwill nintendo wii

This is the first time ever that a order was screwed up. I was suppose to get the power adapter, the cable that connects to the tv, 4 controllers, 4 nunchucks, 10 games and covers for the controllers. Well I get the wii without the adapter or the cable for the tv. I also only get 3 controllers and 5 games. The Wii was there. I paid 63.00 altogether for this and the shipping goes by weight too. I am scared to even buy anything from shopgoodwill anymore. When I messaged them they just asked for the slip. They didn't even get back to me to say they were going to help or anything. I need corporates number! If anyone has it please let me know!

ShopGoodwill working pioneer pl-200 direct drive turntable, damaged when shipped.

Won shopgoodwill internet bid for Pioneer PL- 200 Direct Drive Turntable. Paid for item August 1st 2019. Received Turntable damage in shipping August 8th, 2019.
Spoke with ecommerce department in Iowa City where merchandise was shipped,
Sent notifications to ecommerce manager Don Clark with pictures stating item
Had been damage.
Mr. Clark communicate that a email notice with a printable return shipping label would be sent to my email address. Mr. Clark sent this notice at least three times
with me calling back and forth to verify printable label was attached. For some
reason this process did not happen, and I was not able to contact ecommerce
manager.
I would like a printable label sent to my email address, so I can ship damage turntable back to Goodwill to complete a full refund. Attached are pictures

ShopGoodwill - given incorrect item #[protected]

This is the first online order ever where I've received the incorrect item. I am not given the option to contact the seller directly so I emailed my complaint to the online customer service. Perhaps they flipped flopped and submitted my item to a previous bidder with a similar item description? It's for a set of decorative plates. Same manufacture, but...

ShopGoodwill receiving item paid for

I won a box of broken jewelry at $50 after I paid 87.00 which included shipping. I never received it. I filed a complaint with fedex and they said they denied my claim? That goodwill had to submit it. Now they say to talk to fedex it was left on porch? Proof of delivery, I think it's [censored] I paid them for something I never received. I had ordered several things from them 2 of them never made it to my house. The Arizona goodwill refunded me my money but they won't . I want a refund.'

ShopGoodwill pair of vionic sparkly black two-strap sandals women's size 11.

This is more a cry for help than a complaint. I've tried several times to reach ShopGoodwill customer service, but in vain. I'm in Rome, Italy, until july 9, and had assumed that, were I to win the auction for the Vionic sandals, I could easily pay for them online, with PayPal, as I usually do. But it turns out that I can't reach shopgoodwill.com at all. Every time I try, I get a message saying that shopgoodwill.com refuses to connect. No idea why, but I assume it has something to do with being in Europe, since something similar happened with another online retailer, which emailed me to promote a sale, but then, when I tried to shop, said its site was unreachable by European customers----even thought I'm the same American customer I've been all along, using the same 10-year-old American Dell laptop I always use.

I have no way to find out whether I won this auction or not but I'm afraid that, if I did, I won't be able to pay for it until it's too late, since I won't get home--and be able to log into www.shopgoodwill.com until July 9.

I'd be grateful if someone would check to see if I won the auction for the size 11 sparkly black two-velcro-adjustable-strap Vionic sandals and, if I did, let me know by email how I can pay for them. (Also, why won't shopgoodwill let me connect to its website? I'm only a temporary European, after all.)

ShopGoodwill dewalt 12 volt charger and 3 batteries

I bought 1 charger and 3 batteries from shopgoodwill.com for 45.00 and freight 12.00 and handleing fee the description said good so I assumed it worked simple test is all they had to do is plug it in it didnt fit in my drill so I sold it on ebay customer gets package charger wont light up and 1 battery wont hold more than 7 volts 1 dead and 1 works tried to get credit from shopgoodwill and they said since I dont have it they cant do anything. This is something they get donated and charge high freight charges and handling fee. Straight greedy and bad biz habits

ShopGoodwill deceptive auction listings (hiding known issues or facts)

I've found that not only does Shopgoodwill blind us with the overwhelming ads that they've put in Before, Middle, and End of the auction pages, more and more the listers are hiding defects, damage, issues, or anything that would limit the bidding on an item.
i.e. - [protected] Two JBL Century Model L100 Speakers (vintage 1970s). These speakers evolved and had many changes and the companies that made the parts or a ten year period. A listing picture shows 1 of the serial numbers, but not the second serial number. My calls to request the serial number were ignored...until the auction was over. I was high bidder at $801 base on the thought that the speakers would have a close serial number...nope ~13, 000 difference, and It's likely that speakers don't sound the same, .
I explained this to the listing location, they ignored my information and just list the speakers again, with only ONE serial number listed even know that it will make a difference in the bidding. Deception (hiding known issues or facts) is now routine in the listings by Shopgoodwill. Perhaps when the law suit start it'll not be a standard way of doing business.

ShopGoodwill item [protected]

I am not very computer literate. I do not know how to attach anything to an email. This is the second time I am doing this as I do not think the first submital went thru.

Please review the discussion on this item customer service. Someone is being closed minded and putting too much faith is a device which is not infallable. I can live with the decision, I have plenty of other sites I can shop. If I knew how to "jump" from this to customer service, I would retrive a second item which was under discussion. I believe them when they say the item did ship.

Every time I click the "submit" button, your system asks me to log in on social media which I do not use. Cannot figure out how to handle this to get the message to you.

ShopGoodwill employee

To whom it may concern,

The Employee lied and said that I switched the tag when one the price is marked inside of the bag and the tag was under his feet and there where witness to where the manager had to check me out. Then I go today and I go about twice every two weeks just to see what new things are there and as I'm shopping the employee stops my bf and then yells across the store and catches other customers attention and says to escort me out the store! I'm livid at this point and walk up to the manager and my boyfriend because she is next to employee and he say going back and forth with my boyfriend while he Is checking out another customer. The first incident was filmed and I put the idems I had I placed down told the manager I wouldn't not spend another penny there at that location because he should not still be employed there one for how the first incident was handled and because this time the manager did nothing and he was not professional nor handle the other customers with respect, did not represented the company well and it makes me sad because until something is done about this because it is completely unacceptable and shouldn't be allowed nor is was good customers service regardless of what they sell it's still a business.

ShopGoodwill not as described issue

Hello. My name is Brian Confer. A while back I purchased two boxes of what was supposed to be 70s and 80s baseball cards. The order is not as described because there are only the same year cards over and over again. The entire set repeated several times over. I paid$80 for cards that have no value at all. If they were seventies and eighties cards, then I would have been happy. For months I have been contacting the sellers at southern California Goodwill regarding a refund. They agreed to send me a return label and have not done so. They refuse to address my questions, won't take my calls and only close the ticket in customer service Everytime I contacted them. Every day I try. I am a major contributor and I explained that to them and still they refuse to assist me with my return or refund. I am beyond disappointed. I'm actually shocked. It's been months and they keep my money. It's really terrible that they are treating someone this way. I bet there are others. Can you please help me get to the bottom of this? ShopGoodwill shipping & handling non-standard and price gouging

I have been buying on shopgoodwill.com for a while now.

There are so many inconsistent business practices, some of these stores come across as greedy.

Shipping - One location has a reasonable price to ship a small box and the other is 2-3x the price. When asking for a better rate - some are helpful and some are downright combative and rude.

Handling fees. Handling fees are supposed to be to cover the cost of shipping materials and the labor to pack the items up for shipping. Fees range from nothing to $7 per item depending on the store. I have found when I combine shipping on a few items, some locations only charge one handling fee and others charge times the number of items. When it is $1-$2, that is not too bad. But when it is $4+ it gets a bit nuts. I recently bought 3 pairs of sunglasses for a total of $26 from one location and they wanted to charge $10+ to ship them and $12 in handling fees. My Shipping and handling were 85% of the value of what I purchased. I would be paying $48 total for a $26 order. When I emailed and asked if they could do anything about the shipping and handling - the first note was a flat out NO. They cannot adjust shipping prices, bla bla bla. So I challenged it and let them know that other locations adjusted shipping costs and asked again about the handling fees. They reluctantly replied with a shipping cost adjustment but would not budge on the handling fees. I called them, spoke with a supervisor and he said he was operating under the direction of his director not to accommodate handling fees. This was the Goodwill Industries of South Florida. Needless to say - I will not be purchasing from them again. They are NOT customer driven. They are greedy.

ShopGoodwill shipping prices are overestimated. shopgoodwill.com is price gouging on shipping. buyer beware.

I have bought many things on shopgoodwill.com. However, I have recently begun to notice that the shipping weight listed for many items is much higher than the actual weight of the item.
In some case, of course, bulkier items and oddly-shaped items may require more postage because of shipping company protocols. However, I have recently experienced a situation in which the item would fit into a small box, but was listed at 800% more than the listed weight of the item. There is no other reason for this than what I can see as price-gouging customers who bid on the item.
I actually contacted the staff at one Goodwill outlet referenced in an auction and they sent me a message back saying that they had changed the weight on the shipping per my comment and inquiry.
This having been said, I believe that everyone must be cautious, inquire with each listed Goodwill outlet. Some Goodwill stores are doing this more than others on shopgoodwill.com, which includes item from all Goodwill outlets across the United States.

ShopGoodwill not being answered with my messages. about item # [protected]

I have a beef! With goodwill easter seals mn there was some brick stix that went off on 12/13/18 with no bids that I really really wanted to buy for my grandson so I could put him together some building toys for christmas. Me and him look at things on your site a bunch and he really wanted them. I had an emergency and had to leave my home that evening and missed the auction end. Most of the time I wait till the last minute to bid bettering my chance of winning. Anyway there was no bids received on them. At the time the item # was [protected]. I messaged them the next morning early before they even opened to see if I could purchase them then and they sent me a message and said they we're going to re-list them and that they would be re-listed for 3 day's so pretty much her words was, keep looking. Well they listed them for 7 day's instead of 3 like they said.. I was needing them before christmas so that was pretty much shot. Why couldn't they just sell them to me in stead of re-listing them. I have the message proving that they said it would be relisted for 3 day's. I have left them at least 4 or 5 messages since then and they will not reply to me. I am on your site most of the day and evening and I shop there as well. You all need to hire people that care about other people and takes care of them as well, i'm not trying to get something for nothing. It's very up-setting to be ignored. My beef is nobody bid on them the first go around I sure don't see any harm to sell them if they don't sell. Plus do what they say that they will do and list them for 3 day's, not 7 I am very displeased with them!

ShopGoodwill this service!

I cannot login therefore I can't participate in any of your auctions. I wrote months ago and never received a response. Every time I try to log in, it says I must finish registration by following the link they are sending to my email. I go to my email, and it's not there! Tried a whole bunch of times! I'm annoyed. I've been trying to get on this site for months! You should have a technical help phone number or any phone number!

this the only way you can shop now.

FYI- they have done that to alot of us. its your ip address they blacklist i believe. anyways a lil secret- register with new email address and name but when ready to buy use your correct info and it will still go thru but they will disable that account in a matter of hours. so search first find what you want then make the new account and pay asap before they disable it. can only really buy buy it now or close to ending auctions so you can pay asap. they cheap system do verifie if your fake register name matches your real card info and address. They wont help you this is how they work. Goodwill can kiss my [censored] cause they are a sorry company.
