Shoney's North America food

After many years of not being near a Shoney's restaurant, we were traveling through Oklahoma and decided to stop for dinner in Henrietta. We ordered the salad bar, the burger sliders, and a loaded baked potato. The enchilada soup was the best item we had, as there was some spice to it. However, it tasted like chili. The burgers were good, but bland. The bun was good. The potato wasn't loaded, although all the listed items were on it. Even with tiny bacon bits, I had to salt the potato to have anything tasty. I'm usually a person who doesn't like lots of spice on my food.
The service was superb. She was friendly informative and helpful. The decor was beautiful and contemporary. The rest room was clean and pleasant.
My suggestion is to have your corporate chef review preparations of recipes whose taste would make Shoney's shine and stand out. The food we had would have been suitable for an older person who has issues with hypertension, diabetes. Dietary restrictions, and was fearful of the newer trends in cooking.
Let the cook have some elbow. Room. And allow her/ him to really cook.

Shoney's North America management

I was having lunch with a friend on July 9th 2019 and it was so rudely interrupted by a manager yelling and cursing at the employees. I heard the word [censored] to many times. It was very uncomfortable. It doesn't seem like Shoney's in Morgantown WV (on Earl Core Rd. Not Sterling Drive) is a very professional place at all. We left early and went else where. I don't think we will be going back to that one.

Shoney's North America service

We arrived at Shoney's at 11:30 a.m.There was one table of 6 that ordered before us. We ordered a Slim Jim Sandwich and fries. A steak sandwich and fries. Ordered a Slim Jim and fries for carryout. We did not receive our food for 45 mins. A supposed mix up between the cook and server. We waited another 30 mins for our carry out sandwich. When we left it was 1 p.m. There were too many employees messing around doing nothing. We never saw a manager until I asked to speak to a manger. We are patient people but believe we were delayed too long at Shoney's. We will never go back to Shoneys again.

Shoney's North America atmosphere was horrible.

I was very excited to see that the Shoney's in Pearl had re-opened but bad management was very evident. The restaurant was busy and there were plenty of workers present. However, only a few of them were working. The others were just standing around in the other's way as well as cursing and waitresses were arguing with each other. Hoping for improvements.

Shoney's North America service

Upon entering Shoneys tonight, greeted by the manager Barbara, her comment to my group was we are closing in 30 minutes. Not good evening welcome to shoneys. The next family that came in was told you have 20 minutes. Then she unplugged the food bar that should have been unplugged hours ago. Food was burnt and you couldn't even decipher what it was. Shoney's needs help here. They have lost enough stores.

Shoney's North America health concern

This is about th West Memphis Arkansas restaurant. Every time I have eat there in the past it has been 5 star for service, food and cleanliness. I bragged to my wife about the food there.
I took my new wife there may 28, 2019 at around 3:00pm. In the past I never saw the parking lot less than half full. Walking in I noticed the floor was a little sticky. Not a big thing to me because it happens sometimes because of today's workforce.
Heading to our booth we passed a couple sleeping in their booth side by side in an X position. No one said anything to them during the time we were there with was not long.
Our table was a little sticky too. My wife told me her head was itchy. I asked why. She said I don't know but I'm highly allergic to roachs. She looked around and said this place has a roach problem. She ran an extermination bisseniss. I looked around and saw a lot of bugs and roaches in the cealing fixtures in the drink preperation area next to were we were sitting.
My wife went to the rest room. When she came back she said she could not use it. She waited for the guy cleaning it to finish. When he came out she said the toilet had paper and poop in it. The floors were filthy. The sink was stained and had a crust on it. The room stunk.
We left and went to Iron Skillet. Always a 5 star restaurant. I and others have left reviews on Travelocity and Google. Both sites asked me about my experience there. I will never go there again. Too bad.

Shoney's North America it's more of a compliment

Your manager Melissa is awesome we came in there last night for seafood and it was amazing the food was fresh and tasteful. Your manager made us feel so welcome. She made us feel like we were family. Although she was from one end of the restaurant to the other she still had a smile on her face. I just wanted you all to know how great she made us feel. We will be back next time we are in town.

I am a Shoney's patron. I visited the Goodlettsville, TN loc yesterday evening (around 5:30 pm 9/5/19) and the Manager by the name of "Royce" assisted me wonderfully. He was perfect in his assisting as he went as far as to help me contain all of my Salad Bar food in a box, per my request. I was concerned about getting it to and from as I had to drive to another city, which was my home and final destination. He even offered to carry it to the car. He opened the door for me as I was exiting the building with gracious concern for my departure! Kudos to Mr. Royce, as he couldn't have assisted me more well! I will be back and be expecting his polite, gentlemanly manner as I graze (and then some) with great enthusiasm through the whole Salad Bar!

Kudos, once again for Mgr. Royce!

Shoney's North America customer service

The restaurant manager Cedric Harden customer service skills are horrible, not one time during the conversation did acknowledge me as SIR. I had to ask him was he the manager because he clearly didn't carry himself as a manager. I ask him to give me his regional manager information before I exit the establishment. I contacted the regional manager and I see why the restaurant manager customer service skills are bad because the conversation I had with him was just as bad. Whatever happened to the customer being the priority.

Shoney's North America poor quality of breakfast bar

On December 29, 2018, I visited the Shoney's located at 407 Thompson Lane, Nashville, Tennessee 37211; Restaurant # 1202. My order # was 208260. My son and I had the Breakfast Bar. My primary reason for choosing to have breakfast at Shoney's as opposed to any other popular breakfast spot, is the salad bar. I must on a daily basis be mindful of my food choices and have many dietary restrictions in being someone who is in a daily battle to keep Stage 3 cancer in remission.

My oncologist recommends spinach, broccoli and other high antioxidant and alkaline rich produce. I was very much looking forward to enjoying the breakfast bar and the overall opportunity of being able to go out to eat with my son who is usually too busy with work and college outside of the holiday season. However, the experience was disappointing because of the old produce on the salad bar. The spinach was actually old to the point of many of the leaves being wet and slimy; there was hardly any iceberg lettuce available (no one would refill the metal container), the grapes were old and too soft, many usual toppings were unavailable such as diced ham, broccoli and bacon bits. There were also usual breakfast items missing from the hot portion of the bar, such as oatmeal and grits (which are also healthier choices for me as opposed to fried potatoes for example).

I do not understand why the weekend cost of the bar is $12.99/person versus $4.99/person during the week if the quality of the bar is worse at the higher price. I feel that I wasted my money. My total ticket cost came to $27.84. I could have done something much better with this near $30. I would like to politely request some degree of compensation through a gift card that I can use at another location that seems to be more concerned with customer satisfaction.

Shoney's North America management

I'm a regular customer and every time i come in the bar is horrible for lunch. Food has not been rotated. The manager that's on duty is always sitting at the bar, no movement. I wanted to order a drink and she just sat there and told the server to find another server. I don't want to tell you how to run your business but your GM is not being a GM. I visited shoneys today and the bar was great. The gentleman that was the manager on duty is a great manager and knows how to manage and run a business.

Shoney's North America 2 pile of shrimp combos and one philly cheese steak

My husband. My daughter and I came i tp the Shoneys in Jennings, La on Monday July 16th and ordered two pile of shrimp and one philly cheese steak. We left and went to the gas station(right behind shoneys) and when my husband openend his cheese steak it was burnt almost beyond recognition. He took it right back and requested a refund. We left again and proceeded home(we live in Tx).we get down the road abut 5 miles and my daughtee and I open our shrimp plates. It was horrible. Overdone and dried out so much the shrimp were crispy on the inside. No plastic ware and 1 side was left off. I am so disappointed we couldn't even eat it. And we spent over $42. I. Am so mad. Never have i eaten a bad meal at shoneys and it was our ANNIVERSARY.

Shoney's North America payment for work done at location

After being contacted by the manager at the Shoney's located at 420 W Bank Expy, Gretna, LA 70053 and being told that she would pay me the night I cleaned her store. The employees that were there didn't know anything about the payment. I left an invoice and after a few days I called her to find out when I would get paid. She said she would send it right out. a couple of weeks passed and I called back. They then said it takes 90 days to process payments. I contacted Qualondra Langston Staff Accountant
Office: [protected] only to get the run around and now she doesn't even respond back from emails or voice mails. Get payment a head of time before doing any work for theses crooks.

Shoney's North America filthy

I finally quit going to my local Shoney's in Crossville TN. It is not managed well & their practices keep the place unsanitary.
On several occasions I have gotten a plate & it had globs of food stuck to the bottom.
I went to get tomatoes @ the bar & they were all mushy, when I complained she just dumped a handful of fresh tomatoes on top of the mushy ones.
The last time I went, I watched my waiter fill the ice chest. He brought the bucket, sat it in the floor to open the lid & then picked it up by the handle & putting the other hand under the bottom of the bucket to pour it into the chest. That was fine, but then he immediately grabbed the scoop with the hand that was just on the bottom of the bucket which had just been sitting on the floor & started scooping ice. He never washed his hands. As soon as he was done, a waitress picked up the same dirty scoop to fill her cups.
These are just a few examples of problems I have experienced @ Shoney's in Crossville TN. I have complained at the restaurant. That was useless.
Please fix our Shoney's. I like Shoney's & eat @ them in other towns. It's the only place in town with breakfast bar & food bar that isn't Chinese, except for a couple of expensive places.
Please fix our Shoney's.

Shoney's North America breakfast bar

theres a renovated shoneys in Murfreesboro tn their breakfast bar sucks everythings slimy and undercooked better off eating cereal the servers are nice though I just don't feel like it is worth the money the cost is even more than other shoneys the biscuits are doughy the meat is raw the only thing I found attractive about it was the bagels and toast

Shoney's is a DEAD Brand, this unit is a CORPORATE owned restaurant, operated under the leadership of CEO David Davoudpour. In 2007 Davoudpour started with 282 restaurants more then half those have CLOSED permanently since then.

Shoney's North America poor restaurant quality.

I am very disappointed, I usually love Shoneys. But not this time. I was so disgusted when I left I will probably never go back. The restaurant was filthy, the bar was not stocked and cold. And the staff was inattentive. Never have i been to any place and been treated like that, and to top it off the meal for two was $31.13, with was at very best ridiculous. I took my husband for Fathers Day. The store was in Oxford Alabama. THIS STORE NEEDS ATTENTION BAD!

Shoney's North America buffet at the 460 oakvale road princeton wv

Food wasn't cooked well, waitress was very rude her name is Robin and she had a very bad attitude, the whole staff were very rude and arguing with one another in front of the customers, when my husband complained to the manager she laughed at him to his face, the section we were sitting in all the customers complained about the service and the buffet but nothing was done about, as we were leaving the staff were all yelling loudly at one another it was a bad experience and horrible food, for the $30 dollars it costed us it was absolutely not with it I personally will never go there again, worst experience I have had in a restaurant in a long time, this place needs cleaned up or shut down it really isn't worth the money or the time it took me to drive there

Shoney's North America managers horrible customer service

My husband and I took our four children to the Smyrna, TN location to eat the breakfast bar 03-28-2018 around 7pm. The sausage on the bar was not even warm, the French toast sticks were so hard you could break them in pieces, the ham for salads looked ruined it was very dark and not cold like it should've been, the carrots and broccoli were both old, turning color and very dried out. When we went to pay and were asked how it was I responded it wasn't good and told her what the issues were, she then said very rudely well thats the bartenders job and I haven't seen her in over an hour. I asked to speak to the manager at this point I'm taking pictures of the bad food on the bar while I'm telling her the issues with the food and that the girl cashing us out had a bad attitude and that wasn't acceptable in costumer service. the manager then says that's enough don't take anymore pictures I will call the police. I said over me taking pictures of bad food? She responded Yes you need to leave following me to the front where my children are now standing and proceeded to curse and be extremely disrespectful towards me and my husband as we were waiting on my oldest son to come out of the restroom so we could leave. We will never return to this location but it would probably be in the owners best interest to consider costumer service classes for his employees.

Shoney's North America seafood buffet hartsville

Had a very bad experience with breakfast buffet. The sausage or alleged sausage is the cheap dollar store imitation links. The gravy has no sausage at all and is thin and watery. The bacon tasted dried out and like they dumpster dived the bacon the local grocery stores threw out, totally disgusting. They even failed at making eggs scrambled eggs. They apparently use the cheapest garbage they can find and charge as much as other buffets. If you tell the wait staff the food is horrible they completely give you a we know but, oh well attitude. Eventually 6 months pass decided to give them another try, $24.99 plus drink price for a special Valentine's buffet. I thought wow I can just eat here instead of spending an hour driving to town and back. BIG! Mistake. First off the supposed crab cakes and stuffed flounder was 100% all fake crab meat more dollar store tactics to cheat people. The flounder was completely dried out and hard around the edges, the salmon was dry and very very over cooked. The crapcakes were stove top stuffing with a bit of fake crab stirred in. Completely disgusting. The best part was they were even to cheap to put the dessert that they bring out to you on a dish in she's it is served in a "paper plate." Once again complained to manager and wait staff and nither were surprised that the food was horrid nor, did they care. It was all about scamming the good citizens of Hartsville. SC out of their money.

Shoney's North America bad beef tips. made me and my puppy very ill after eating. they tasted funny. should not have eaten.

Ate at shoneys in oak ridge at six. Had beef tips. Tough and tasted funny. Brought some home to my puppy. We both spent the night vomiting. We spent forty bucks on terrible meal. I've eaten there fifty years without a problem. I did call twice to report it. They said I needed to talk to manager. He was never there. Service was good but beef tips were awful. I did call to warn them that they shouldn't serve anymore of them. Hope they listened.

Shoney's North America food not being served, terrible customer service

Well my husband and my son, and i stopped at shoney's at store 1248 those 2 ordered the bar with pancakes, and i ordered a veggie omlet. When we first came in the lady asked my husband how many i kept telling her 3 she ignored me, i finally said pay attention. There is 3 of us. And they ordered the breakfast bar with pancakes, me the veggie omlet. This location wasnt packed, and my husband, and son made 3 rounds from the bar, no pancakes for them and no omlet for me. So i finally asked the waitress she said that they were getting others before me, i get that but it was way to long since my family had already made 3 rounds. And someone could have made thier pancakes and brought them to them. And then Made my omelet. I told my waitress claudia to cancel the order for me, those pancakes that was just ridicolous. I remember back in the day shoney's was the place to go and i chose something different over cracker barrel this time for my road trip. We shouldnt even had paid for what we already had. Im very upset about the whole thing and i left hungry
