Sharp Electronics sharp refrigerator that needs repair by alaraby group, a local contractor in egypt

I am trying to repair my Sharp refrigerator for about 1 month. The local dealer and maintainance has been contacted repeatedely and they fail to provide the due service for unknown reasons.
This has been going on for more than a month by calling their service center hotline 19319 in Egypt. On 14/08/2018 a technician visited me and informed me that there is a part that needs replacement, he did not inform me how long it would take to fix my fridge. Until now nothing has happened though i did contact the service center several times, all i get is apologies and promises but still no service.
My fridge was purchased in 2010 and is still under warenty by Alaraby group, your subdealer in Egypt.

Sharp Electronics subject : sharp washing machine model exs1278 filter system design failure.

With reference to the above mentioned I write to express my grave disappointment on SHARP washing machine filter system performance.

I bought a SHARP washing machine model EXS1278 from retailer YNL Electrical and Air Cond on 26 July 2018. After a few washed, I found that the washing machine filter system was unable to catch or retain dirt or solid waste. Dirt and solid waste were rest on washed clothes, especially dark color clothes clearly can see.

Verbal complaints have been addressed to retailer on 30 July and 1 August 2018. SHARP's technician turn up on 3 August at 6.00 pm. Some pictures have been taken and no concrete solution done. Some explanation been given by the technician and I had been asked to wait for further notification. Sad to inform that there is no affirmative action and news from SHARP as present.

As an upset purchase, I would like to know what is SHARP's protocol to deal with the purchaser complains? I'm curious and wish to know what are the physical compliance tests or SOP need to be carry out for a new product prior deliver to market for a renowned international large corporations like SHARP? Any comprehensive physical testing been carried out to ensure the functionality of products safety and design sounds? If this process was adhered the above mentioned filter system failure should not be happen.

Solely technical explanation make no different to the failure system. What I wish to hear from SHARP are the firm concrete solution and solution's timeline. I will not hesitate to refer this issue to tribunal court, media or even to higher relevant authorities if there is no response from SHARP on solution action. Attached herewith the receipt of purchased and pictures as evidence proof on my claim. Your prompt actions are appreciated.

Sharp Electronics sharp smart 4k hdr tv

This customer service and the way they operate is laughable at best. First of all, ive had to be transferred between 2 companies, Sharp & Hisense, multiple times. My TV is a Sharp but apparently they don't know who handles what brand. I purchased the "4K HDR Smart" TV and realized it was not functioning as stated. So I checked the update firmware option in settings and it says I have the newest firmware. I checked on their website for my tv support and the page for my model is a completely blank web page. https://www.sharptvusa.com/support/lc-43n6100u/firmware - wow, convenient. So I called customer support and after a long conversation and being on hold for a while she comes back and says they are aware of what the problem is because it has been reported many times and the 4K HDR isn't working for everyone who purchased this line of TVs. She stated the problem was the firmware, I explained it said my firmware was up to date and she says we have to send you an email with the firmware update to download to a USB drive and install. This will take 24 hours. That was 4 days ago. I've called back and emailed support and was finally told it takes between 24 to 48 business hours for them to send the email. So basically I purchased a 4K HDR tv that doesn't work and they're fully aware of this problem for over a year now. I cannot download the update myself from the tv or online. There is no support on their website for my tv, and just to send me an email with a tiny firmware update, which should be readily available like every other tv company that exists, I have to wait 24 to 48 business hours. Which could be 3-6 actual days not including weekends so it may be longer since they're open 8 hours a day M-F. The box says 4K HDR which is false advertising because it's not without going through this mess. As well as me being lied to again on the phone when support told me I'd have it within 24 hours which turns out to be about a week. If that is even the case since I still don't have it. Why can't you just send the email? You can send me emails about why I'm not receiving the email but can't send it? You've known about this for over a year and it's not been fixed or posted to your website for firmware downloads? Laughable at best.

Sharp Electronics sharp ac ahx15ret silver (inverter) 1.25t spl not working

We had bought six SHARP AC AHX15RET SILVER (INVERTER) 1.25T SPL from Vijay Sales K-11/25, Central Market, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi on 16th November 2014. The functioning of the AC's has been less then effective. The after sales is the poorest ever. The gas keeps reducing, the cooling effectiveness is poor in all the ACs

Now one of the AC is not working at all and we had complained regarding the same on 2nd April 2018 to the Sharp Customer Care vide # http://www.jeeves.co.in/track/8D23-33507NRZO01-5313105 to repair the AC, the technician came after two weeks and had no knowledge of the fault. He said that the PCB of the outdoor unit is not working and needs to be replaced. He has taken the PCB and not gotten back to us ever since even though we follow-up every day. His name is Ravinder Arya +91.[protected]. He told us the part was for Rs.10, 000/- inclusive of fitting and that there would not be any guarantee for the same although the part is going to be procured from the company.

We asked him to replace it but he still hasn't reverted. He has the part and it is becoming impossible to sit in that room with the air conditioning. First of all a PCB costing Rs.10000 doesn't make sense, secondly why should a PCB stop functioning in less then 4 years especially when the ACs function only for four months in a year, thirdly why is the after sales and customer care so slow and poor.

We need the AC repaired immediately. Please have the same repaired now.

Sharp Electronics sharp smart tv

Biggest load of rubbish I have ever bought. The picture is in a mist and can't be sharpened up and the sound is terrible whichever setting it is on. I would have been better off with a tesco telly.. Why produce a product that is total crap and notify for purchase. Really disappointed with the whole thing. Got it as a smart tv.. Not too smart now as it's really uselesd.

Picture so fuzzy.. Like looking thru a fog and sound so hollow like being in a tunnel
Probably the worst purchase I have made. Needs sorting as thoroughly frustrating. Bought for a severely mentally handicapped person to watch. Load of rubbush.. Picture atrocious and sound even worse! Sort it.. Can't believe a company like yrs can produce such a load of rubbish! Really angry.. Such a waste of money!

Sharp Electronics 50 inch tv

Bought a 50 in sharp smart TV at Best Buy. As stated in many of these complaints, should have bought the extended warranty. A few months after warranty goes out the backlight inverter boards went out. I only had the TV just barely over a year. The parts are on backorder everywhere, which tells me this is a lemon product. I should have read the reviews before purchase but I thought Sharp made a good product. Wrong. I will never buy another Sharp product.

Hi Tammy. Appreciate reading your complaint.

Actually the problem is not that of Sharp's. Sharp televisions are not produced by Sharp at all; they are a licenced brand produced by a company called HiSense out of China. That doesn't mean they are absolutely terrible; even good products can break. I guess that's why warranty coverage can be somewhat important.

You can replace the television fairly inexpensive in comparison to servicing the unit. You can get the HiSense brand, for around $300. You can get one that's considered more O.E.M. for not a great deal more. Sony currently has a model 720E that's really nice and it's manufactured in a 49 inch size.

Sharp Electronics aquos 70" hd

I purchased this TV from Best Buy in 2014 after I bought a new home. The only reason I purchased this particular TV was because it highly recommended by a friend who had the exact same TV that they purchased a year earlier. I barely used the TV since I live alone and work lots of hours, so I don't have a lot of time for TV watching. After exactly 2 years the screen turned completely lime green. I no longer had warranty on the TV so Best Buy couldn't help me. I contacted Sharp and they couldn't help me but referred me to a local TV repair technician. I paid $150 for this guy to come out and tell me there was nothing that could be done and I need to just throw it away. Needless to say I was pissed after spending $3, 000 just 2 years earlier on the TV and then another $150 for diagnostics. I complained to Sharp and they didn't seem to give a crap about my situation. I take care of my things and get years of use out of everything I buy. I don't have $3, 000 to just throw in the garbage. Sharp needs to take care of their customers a lot better. If they would just look at the TV, they will see that it's in perfect condition (well taken care of) aside from the screen that went out. I was told some software on the inside went out and there is no replacement parts for that size TV. I am furious with Sharp and will not be buying from them again nor recommending them due to their lack of service. They could have replaced the TV since it was only 2 years old.

Sharp Electronics they ignored our requests and used wrong colors

We worked with Sharp Logo Design, but it was bad experience. We owe small travel agency and recently decided to change the logo of the company. We filled the survey, responded to different questions and answered to all the questions. The first logo, which they showed was awful. They used completely different colors and it seemed that they ignored everything what we asked for.

Sharp Electronics Non-uniform cooling of refrigerator

I bought a Sharp Refrigerator Model No. SJ-FS79V-BK from Dawar's Open World on 27/07/2015.
After that i complaint about panel display on 12/09/2015 complaint no. 631619 and i was told the panel has to be change, but nothing happened after many calls.
In December we noticed there non-uniform cooling and moisture deposit in vegetable box even though we kept dry vegetable. We complaint about this on 08/12/2015 no 639726, the representative visited and told about defect in sensors, since then about 2 months have passed but nothing happened even after repeated calls. Now the situation is even worst with frosting and spoiling of contents kept in the refrigerator. We want this Fridge to be replaced as soon as possible or we will have to take legal action.
Hope to get reply in 5 working days.

Sharp Electronics Aquos 70" TV LC-70TQ15U - Buyer Beware

If any of you are considering the purchase of a Sharp big screen TV for the holidays or any other reason, I recommend you also get the extended warranty because you will probably need it. We made the mistake 18 mos. ago of not buying the additional warranty on a Sharp Aquos 70" TV LC-70TQ15U. The screen now has a vertical yellow line on the left margin, and we've been told that means the panel is on its way out. The estimate to fix it after only a year and a half is between $2000 and $4000, the upper end of that which is more than we bought it for in the first place. We called Sharp, and were basically told they were sorry they couldn't help us and that we should have a nice day. It was a great picture while it lasted, but after the money spent and only 18 months ownership, we expected a better response than that, but lesson learned. We'll never buy another Sharp product again. Also entered at Facebook page, "Sharp TV Customer Complaints."

Sharp Electronics Sharp 70 inch LED, 240HZ, quattron, 3D, Smart Aquos TV # LC70LE735U

I bought a Sharp 70 inch LED, 240HZ, quattron, 3D, Smart Aquos TV Model # LC70LE735U serial # (upon request). It was purchased on 11/23/2011 for $4299.98 plus tax. About August 10, 2015, approx. 3.5 years after purchase blue vertical lines appeared on the screen and the TV went black. Calls were made to Sharp Corp. They stated to unplug the TV then after 10 seconds plug in the TV while holding the input and down arrow at the same time and advised a K would appear on the screen. Attempts made several times to no avail. I spoke with Customer relations and they advised that it was out of warranty. It was looked at by two companies one being a registered Sharp repair company in my area. Both companies advised that the TV was no longer made and parts were not available anymore. Sharp customer service stated they would send issue up to corporate to get matter reviewed. On 08/20/2015 at approx. 15:15 hours a Brody ID#48233 contacted me and advised me I was on a recorded line to offer a solution. He stated that they would give me a refurbished TV (same) plus I had to pay an additional $1000.00. I advised him that that offer was nowhere close to being acceptable. He advised me that if I didn’t accept his offer he would close the case. I told him I didn’t want to have the case closed but he said he was the highest person to make the decision and there was no one higher. I told him I didn’t believe he was the highest and asked his to have offer reviewed again. He said no. He said he purchases refurbished TV’s and the one he has now has lasted 13 years. He said that the TV’s now last approx. 7 to 8 years. I asked his for a prorated voucher for the difference in years and he said no. He admitted on a taped line that the TV’s are meant to last longer than 3.5 years but would not do anything for me. Final offer was original offer. I told him I wanted a copy of the recorded phone call and to be added to any emails to higher authorities. He said no. I told him I have (2) 32” RCA tube TV that has lasted 25+ years with no repairs still being used in my home. I advised him I was going to be making contact with any and all groups to let them know how poor Sharp is with their customers and how poorly they back their products if a problem occurs. No solution was reached. I will never buy another product with the name Sharp on it. Neither should anyone else. I will not be silenced. The conversation lasted anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes. After reviewing other complaints, This offer appears to be the same M.O. Refurbish and charge customer additional money.

I have a 2012 70" sharp 3D tv. When you turn it off for the night you have to unplug it the next morning before it will comes back on. This happens every time it is turned off. Why does it do that? I need a solution for this problem?
I am not happy with this problem I have spent a lot of money for this to be having this problem at all. Someone please contact me and let me know what you are going to do about this?

Sharp Electronics Faulty

Where do I begin? One day this rarely used tv turned on with a black screen that had sound, 5 minutes later that also disappeared and it died. Sharp said it had to go to a repair store an hour away who tried various things to fix it and new issues arose so they told us they would recommend to Sharp we received a replacement tv. Many hours on hold later we were told we were approved for a replacement but they need credit card info (why?!) and they had literally no timeline for a new tv. So far this has been going on 2 months and I have no idea when the ordeal will be over. Customer service is ridiculous and wait times are long. Oh and the new tv will be a refurbished set that only has 90 days warranty, from looking at their fbk and other online sources this is a huge trend both in terms of service and the tv itself. Never buy a Sharp item!

Sharp Electronics Poor Customer Service

Do not buy Sharp! We bought a 70 inch LC-70LE650U Aquos tv on July 1, 2014. The tv went out June 13, 2015 and I immediately filed a report and got a case number, 8408675. I was told I would need to wait until a refurbished tv arrived at the warehouse. On July 2, they showed up with a damaged tv. I refused delivery. I received another case number 8425475. I asked for a new tv of equal or greater value that was in stock so I wouldn't have to wait so long but was told "they don't do that". They finally sent another tv to a delivery company (Best Way Services out of Flowood, MS) that is terrible. It's been almost 40 days and I'm still waiting. Ridiculous to have such terrible service for a tv we paid over $2400 for AND was under warranty. I received excellent customer service on a Samsung that wasn't under warranty so I know that other electronic companies can offer a replacement tv of equal or greater value. I think Sharp should provide a better tv (at least the most up to date model), but at this point would be satisfied with an apology and the fact that maybe this complaint will save someone else from having to deal with this hassle.

I agree Sharp customer service or Sharp policy is ridiculous! We bought a cash register and its display light was off during operation. We called their tech for help. We were told that we need to pay $22 in order to get a tip on how to turn it back on. Later we just figure it out: just need to replace the batteries. For such a easy tip that is not indicated in their manual! But, sharp keep such secret, and they can charge customer if they need help. Don't buy Sharp anymore!

Sharp Electronics Failed after only 30 months

Television was purchased at PCWorld and was used only occasionally as a bedroom set for watching the news. Its indicator light failed after only 4 weeks and was fixed by PCWorld. However the set failed again 29 months later. This time it was a more serious fault. The screen pixels had failed leaving the screen with blurred and unwatchable images. I complained to Sharp directly but their response was to suggest I send the set to their Telford workshop at my own expense and they would then give me an estimate of the cost to repair it. I found this offer to be totally unacceptable and indeed under present legislation I believe my cosumer rights are protected in law for up to 5 years in Scotland where I live.

Sharp Electronics TV

The Sharp Aquos is a beautiful TV. I bought a "48" 31/2 years ago for 1, 499.00.
And now the big BUTTTTT it stopped working last Nov. I called Sharp and they
knew exactly what was wrong. The V on the TV is the light that just blinks an they knew this. They told me seeing it was not even out for 4 years yet to send them my receipt because they told me it would cost over 600.00 to fix it and they do not stock the part for it. Well they told me they would replace it with a smaller one that was close to 700 an that I had to wait until they got them in stock an I had 30 days to make up my mind. So now I'm thinking their replacing it for free? When I called back they wanted my credit card I asked why? Here I'm thinking it free? Don't thnk so..I asked the guy what does replace mean to Sharp? So if you want a real nice tv an great picture I suggest you don't buy a Sharp they do not stand by their products. An it looks great sitting on my dining room floor.

Sharp Electronics Customer Service

Wow! I am not one to complain EVER but let me tell you Customer Service at Sharp is HORRIBLE! In a nutshell, I received my microwave with a broken turntable...things like this happen. Trying to get the replacement for a piece that MAYBE costs $15...virtually IMPOSSIBLE. It takes forever to connect with the right department. Then you fax in your receipt for proof of purchase, and they don't document that it's received...2 weeks go by now I need to scan my receipt.
In a nutshell, please let me THANK Mr. Jordan Alfonzo who actually was able to hear me out and EXECUTE my delivery which I will receive in 3-5 days! Thanks Jordan! However, I don't care if come Black Friday they are selling Sharp products for 95% off, I'll never buy a product of theirs ever again. The end.

Sharp Electronics Insurance Premium

I bought a car (2008 Mazda 3) in December 2012 and insured with Sharp insurance.
The agent to whom I talked with is Kathy. She give me an offer of $312 per month but if I complete insurance saving class or that 15 hrs of driving class and submit the completion certificate it will be $214 per month. She gave me 3 weeks of time to complete but unfortunately it take 4 weeks to complete and submit the certificate. And they charged me $312 for first month and for last month that is ok because they have given me 3 weeks of time before charging but after that I called Kathy and left a voice message saying that I have faxed my certificate in first week of jan 2013 but in jan 15 2013(my premium auto pay date) again they charge me the same amount $312 I was amazed and again called Kathy and again left voice message, but like before no reply. Then after 1 or 2 days I called and talked to helpdesk (I forget her name) and she told me that "we have your certificate in our file from next month it will be adjusted and that extra amount that you have paid will also be adjusted." But in feb also same thing happens they pull same amount ($312) from my account.

Again called them and after waiting for 7 minutes get an opportunity to talk with costumer service and she without listening what I was saying transferred call to another agent.

Then send them a message from their website on 19th feb, 2013(didn't get any confirmation email that they receive that message or email.) but didn't get any reply from them.

And one more this I purchased that car in instalment and it has a minor hail damage (may be 3 - 4 very small dents on roof that is barely noticeable.) . Kathy told me that fix that damage then only my hail damage will be protected else not, even my car has full insurance and now I didn't trust them that it will be covered even after sending hail repair receipt to them.

Sharp Electronics MS Office 2010 - 3 Activations

We ordered several 'packages' with three activations per for future use. One activation was used and went through on one of the packages. When we tried to do a second activation, Microsoft said that they didn't recognize the activation code. Emails to [protected]@sharpmediaexperts.com go unanswered and their toll free number doesn't allow voicemail. We cannot get a hold of anyone associated with this company. Now I find that the BBB rates them with an 'F'!

I purchased Microsoft Office Professional 2010
I tried to do the second activation, Microsoft said that they didn't recognize the activation code. Emails to support@sharpmediaexperts.com go unanswered and their toll free number doesn't allow voicemail.
