Seventh Avenue - Chenille bedspread

I purchased a red chenille bedspread and it looked beautiful. They stated it was 100% cotton. Yet now they say there is no thread count. All cotton has a thread count. It had a terrible smell and made me sick. I washed it and it totally clogged up my washer and dryer. My dryer almost caught on fire. The red fuzz balls flew all over my house. Even a week later I was seeing them. I called and they sent me a prepaid label to return and they received it back. I talked to their quality control person and she said she would issue a full credit including shipping and handling. I asked her to email me verification of that. She said they didn't do business that way. Not even a simple email. They did issue a credit on my credit card as promised on August 7. But on August 17 when I received my statement, they took part of it away. I call them back and they say it may take 24 to 48 hours for someone to call me because August is a busy month for them. I haven't heard anything as of yet. And previously the lady in quality control said she would tell her supervisor about their product ruining my washer and dryer. It's been 2 weeks and I have heard nothing. They also changed the name of the bedspread by one word and the item# and now call it NEW on their website. Also because of doing this, they took down ALL the reviews. Don't order from them because they will only tell you lie after lie. And customer service is well trained reading from the same script. BUYER BEWARE!

Seventh Avenue - No record of payment after sending proof

I ordered a set of cookware. Received in good condition and made a payment of 72.48. Keep getting calls of non-payment. I sent them proof of receipt of payment through them and transaction ID. I even sent them a screen shot of my account on Seventh Avenue web site. They still continue to say they did not receive a payment. They want me to send a bank statement which I can not do as I have no bank account. I use a Direct Express debit card issued through social security. Direct Express showed the payment. I will not send my social security debit information due to security concerns. Also, why should I even have to prove their screw up even though I did. Buyer beware. Stay away from this company with terrible customer service who do not listen to their customers. I told them to close my account after I pay the balance of what is owed according to me and proof of payment which I sent them!

Seventh Avenue - Supersonic sc-499 portable tv

Ordered a Portable TV a SuperSonic SC-499 Seventh Avenue price $149.99 + Shipping and Handling $22.95 for a total of $172.94. Wife check online Amazon has the same Portable TV a SuperSonic SC-499 for $69.99 and free shipping and handling. For the price that Seventh Avenue billed me for one Portable TV SuperSonic SC-499 $172.94 I can purchase two from Amazon and still have $32.96 to go out for dinner. This not including the interest they billed for using their credit card. Returning Product by prepaid Fedex Label provided by Seventh Avenue ! Beware Seventh Avenue are not making an honest profit but more like robbing their loyal customers. You have been warned. Beware of the Seventh Avenue Robbers!

Seventh Avenue - This company calls me and offers their production

I’m really annoyed by the company Seventh Avenue. Once I ordered from them, and now they continued to call me and offered some stuff. I already told them to stop and I wouldn’t buy from them again, but these stupid agents continued to call. Please, if anyone knows how to stop these calls, post comments or help me. I’m really pissed off with it. It might be a good idea, if people write about their experience with this horrible company.

Seventh Avenue - Consumer service

I call consumer service about my bill. I have always paid my bill at the end of the month. I have been doing business with Seventh Avenue over a year and never had a problem with my bill. I call to find out why my payment was not posted on my bill and she came up with some stupid reason. I talk to her supervisor who name was Aaron because she was rude and had no interpersonal skills. He was just as rude and I told him that I will never do business with this company again. I let all of my friends know that is in the UAW, AFL-CIO and AARP not to do business with this company. Their CUSTOMER SERVICE NEED TO FIND A PROGRAM ON HOW TO FOCUS AND DEAL WITH DIFFERENT INDIVIDUAL THAT ARE UPSET WITH AN ISSUE THAT DEAL WITH THEIR BUSINESS!

Seventh Avenue - Terrible service

In January of 2006 I ordered a pot &pan set from them. Once the set had arrived I only used them for a week when one of the lids exploded on the pan that I was boiling water in. I called and reported it and told the company that if they wanted me to pay for this set that I wanted the lid replace. I was informed by the company that they would send me out a replacement set asap. I never received the set that they claimed to have mailed me. I was checking my CR and found out that they did a charge-off for the set. If the lid had been replaced like they said they would the account would have been paid.

This is what I told them when they called and reminded me to pay my account. I would ask them when they were going to replace the part that exploded when I was cooking and they claimed that they shipped out a new set to me that I never received. The company could not provide proof of anyone in my household signing for any delivery from them with the replacement.

The screws that hold it together are too short. Cant tighten enough to make it stable. It will be easy to turn over. One bump into it and the screw's could come out and it will collapse.

Someone stole my identity and tried to order a Smart TV. THANK GOD IT WAS NEVER SHIPPED! I'm having a hell of a time getting thru to the Fraud Dept. Seventh Avenue should be ashamed of themselves for not verifying anything about me.

I ordered a few items for christmas. One doll head, a baby doll, and a tablet. The items are cheap. The doll leg was broken when we took her out of the box. The doll head would not stand up. My daughter had to hold the head with her legs to comb the doll head. You are suppose to be able to sit it on a table. The tablet was cheap. It fell off my daughters bed and it stop turning on. No cracked sceen or anything. This place sucks!

Someone ordered laptops to a different address and name and was allowed to open a credit card under my name. I do not believe a Company would allow a credit card to be issued to someone ordering laptops to a different name and address as a new customer. They must be idiots at that Company to allow this!

This company has poor service and false advertising! They send people catalogs saying they are pre approved and then after you place an order they want 50 percent of the money upfront! What kind of crap is that! They did it to me and I called them to check on my order and that's when they told me they wanted half of my money upfront! B'S THEY didn't have the decency to contact me in any way to tell me that! Especially last minute before Xmas! They are way over priced and sell mostly junk to be pulling three B'S that they do!

I have never in all my life dealt with such an unprofessional company.I payed off my account and tried ordering something else...you have to wait for the credit dept to approve it by that time the watch had sold out . I've worked in Customer Service for years we have always taken an item out of inventory when the order is placed. So I called several times trying to order the same item in a different color, , , to make a long story short they had me on hold for nearly an hour.So when someone picked up they would say that's an advance customer service issue let me transfer you.I've worked for big companies HSN, Macy's...Im trying to rebuild credit so that's why I'm dealing with them, but no matter how big or small the company is you should always treat your customers with respect.Its also weird they don't report when you make your payments on time..but someone commented they reported them to the credit agency's when they were late.

I have tried calling 7th avenue and get the same message all lines have excess volume calls call back at a later date then they hang up on me.
I ordered 2 pair of slippers in Aug. 2011 a comfronter and a slow cooker. The first part was 1 pair of slipper and the slow cooker with out the
cook book. The second shipment was the comfronter and thats all. I have not receivied the 2nd pair of slippers even tho in the fist shipping
order it stated that there were both in there. the frog slippers were not there. kristen hurley
