Secure Box Office ticket prices

I was looking into tickets for the May 5 performance of the Portland Symphony Orchestra's, Harry Potter and the Magic of Music. They are offering tickets for prices of $300 to over $600 per ticket. After going to Portix, the company that sells tickets for all of the shows at Merrill Auditorium, I discovered that this is a family performance and it is general admission with a ticket cost of $8 with a $2 fee per ticket! This is shameful and they are just common thieves.

Secure Box Office honda center parking ticket

I purchased a online parking ticket on 2/10/2019 (order #[protected]) from Secure Box Office. The cost is $7.00 using Visa credit card, however, the final payment of the ticket turns out to $16.46.

I called the office right away and requested the ticket to be cancelled because of the unauthorized hidden charges. The supervisor of Secure Box advised that it is the way they charge for the sale and refused the cancellation.

I would not do business with this company in the future!

Secure Box Office disney show on ice

Last night (2/4/19) I bought 3 tickets for Disney Show on Ice for 2/8/19 at 7p.m. and a charge of $214.86 is being processed on my account. I received NO confirmation from SBO, I only got an email saying that they can see I wanted to buy tickets but did not complete my transaction. Good thing I wrote down the order number because now it is nowhere to be found. I am calling customer service and it is all recorded and at least it is telling me that my order exists and they are confirming it is 3 tickets. But no information on when and where I get my tickets, this confusing email that I didn't finish my transaction...fist time such a bad experience while buying tickets online. I would really appreciate an email with clear information, seating and actual tickets. So nervous and disappointed.

Secure Box Office disgraceful, deceitful thieves!

I purchased 2 tickets to Beautiful - the Carole King Story at the Kimmel Center in Phila. I am always cautious when buying tickets on-line and specifically access the venue site directly. Secure Box Office scams you into thinking you're actually on the venue site. When I selected my tickets, which were listed as the best seats available, the price listed was $133/tix ($266 total). It wasn't until I printed my receipt that I realized I paid $357.98! There is NO breakdown of the charges on the electronic receipt. I then printed my e-tix looking for the add'l fees which are usually printed on the actual ticket. This is when I noticed the face value of each ticket was $25 and "obstructed view-column". So basically I was paying $179/tix for $25 obstructive view tickets! I was furious and immediately called Secure Box Office within 15 minutes of my purchase. I requested to speak to a Supervisor who pointed out where the information was displayed on the website during the transaction. It's obvious they carefully designed their webpage in order to "legally" cover their [censored] while knowingly scamming the customer. This has to be one of the most unethical companies I've ever encountered! I don't know how anyone associated with this company can live with a clear conscious knowing they are blatantly deceiving innocent people everyday! It's disgusting.

I concur please beware. If you buy a ticket for a concert that is postponed you will not get a refund. You can't sell them back a ticket you can't use either. The prices are on scalped tickets that are then way overpriced from legit places like Ticketfly.

Buy from a more legitimate vendor. WHAT A SCAM!

Secure Box Office purchased parking tickets to the national college football championship game at levi stadium.

Purchased parking tickets to the national college football championship game at levi stadium. All secure box office did was purchase the tickets they sold me from ticketmaster and sold them to me for over double the price. I could have purchased them directly from ticketmaster for less than half the price. I called secure box office customer service number and all they did was point out on there website how it stated there prices are below or above value.

Who would have known they would have ripped you off this much. This company takes advantage of unknowable buyers and should be stopped. They hide behind what they have written on there website.

My order no: [protected]

Hope something can be done about this before others can be ripped off.

Secure Box Office unethical behavior

On November 26, I purchased four tickets to see Miss Saigon at the Kennedy Center. I thought I was purchasing directly from the Kennedy Center. Order #: [protected]. The total cost was $541.55.

Today, I received a copy of my tickets (12/18/18). The ticket price was $59.00. Upon further investigation, I learned the service fee was $9.66. The total price should be have been $274.66.

I looked into cancelling my order only to find out that is not an option. At no time was I advised that I was buying tickets second-hand at a jacked up price.

Totally unethical.

Secure Box Office christmas spectacular tickets @ radio city music hall

I am extremely upset with the customer service and ticket purchase from Secure box office. When I first purchased the tickets in July 2018 I was made unaware of the fees involved in the purchase until after I submitted payment (this is predatory). $210 each, after I hit submit order, I was charged $567. I chalked this up to lesson learned as I thought that was my mistake for using your service and apparently not a forthright disclosing fees.
2nd the tickets I received (which I had selected the seats) were cancelled and I was notified via email the day before the event (November 29th, 2018) via email (which I wasn't checking on vacation). I was on vacation in NYC at the time and had printed tickets from July to attend the event which I thought were valid. I didn't find out they were invalid and had been cancelled until I was in the process of entry to Radio City Music Hall where the tickets were scanned and showed up invalid & cancelled. The newly issued tickets in the email had to be printed on paper and not valid via a mobile device. Therefore we were not permitted entry to the show. So disappointed, refused after many calls to reimburse the purchase price.

I paid 165.00 for one ticket.

Prior to the show, I befriended a few people aside of me and a row ahead of me, I found out they paid 80 dollars! I paid over double then they did! I am requesting a review of these charges and a fair amount of refund to my account.

Secure Box Office ticket service fees

Used Secure Box Office to purchase concert tickets. Delivery fees were not disclosed until after purchase on line. When I saw the mark up for email delivery of the tickets, I attempted to cancel the transaction (same day). Secure Box Office said I could not. Two tickets at $87 each became a $247 charge. I attempted to cancel the transaction within an hour of the on line purchase. The tickets were not delivered. The Secure Box Office transaction procedures are deceptive as their delivery fees are either not disclosed until after purchase or hidden in the fine print of the agreement.

Secure Box Office ticket sales

I have tried several means to contact this company to cancel a ticket order that was made in error. I utilized links from their email and website. I have received to acknowledgement or response to date from any of my requests for help. The markup on tickets is outrageous. And customer service is non responsive. I would urge extreme caution if using this company.

Totally agree - huge ripoff! They have zero customer service. Convinced that all they do is charge excessive ticket prices and then add on extra fees. Telephone number worked, but couldn't actually speak with anyone regardless of which response I dialed. E-mail guaranteed by Trust Guard (sales@secureboxoffice.com) is not recognized by Internet Explorer. Is Trust Guard a scam also? beakertee

Secure Box Office ticket purchasing ripoff

These people are the most dishonest people I have ever been involved with. They doubled the price of baseball tickets and then tried to charge another $10 for delivery after I had given my credit card number. Once you buy tickets there is no way to get to talk with anyone. I've considered stopping payment with my credit card company, but they said in a recorded message that they would file suite if I did. Well, I guess I'm stuck, but I'll never do business with them again. I would give a zero review, I can't give less than one.

Don't Do It! Event was postponed and I was not notified until 8 hours after the start of the event. I drove 4 hours round trip. Also, there was no mention that this performance was by children, not professional actors. The picture of the event did not show young children as the performers. False advertising. What a disgrace. My daughter was so upset. I was offered $7 credit instead of a full refund. Not good enough. I would never give them another dime. TOTAL RIP OFF. They don't care about their customers or running a business ethically.

Secure Box office false advertises, they rip consumers off by overpricing the tickets. They show you a layout of the seating at the venue you'll be attending and price the tickets according to the seating area. Except when you arrive at the concert there is no special areas for paying way more everyone is in the same open area. TOTAL RIP OFF!

I wanted to purchase KLOVE concert tickets that had a face value of $25 Secure Box Office was charging $51 for. I agreed to pay the $51 but the bill came, and they charged an additional amount that they don’t even disclose. When all was said and done 6 tickets that were $51 and should have cost $303 actually cost $602. I tried to contact them multiple times and they have still not responded. I disputed the charges with PayPal and they aren’t helping me either. I am going to close my PayPal account also.

Secure Box Office over price concert tickets

When searching for tickets to a concert on what I thought was the box office for the theatre I ordered 4 tickets from secureboxoffice.com as I thought this was the suggested provider of tickets for the theatre. When I hit submit on my iPad nothing happened so I filled out the online form again and the 2nd time I received a confirmation but no email receipt. The next day when I still hadn't received my email receipt I tried calling the company to confirm and their phone lines were down so I called my credit card company and found that I was charged for 8 tickets. When I finally got through on the phone to to company they refused to refund anything. I then did some searching and found that the tickets I purchased were about $35.00 more per ticket than they were charging at the actual box-office site. Now I am stuck with 8 over priced tickets. I am working with my credit card company to dispute the charges but I feel scammed, ripped off and embarrassed that I purchased anything from this company.

I ordered 4 tickets from Secure Box Office today for a Mark Knopfler concert in Vancouver (16 September 2019) thinking I was using the Orpheum’s official ticket vendor.

Each Ticket was priced at $185 USD. The subtotal prior to my checking out was listed as 4 x $185 USD.
I reviewed the terms of sale and authorized PayPal payment for the subtotal amount and this was accepted.

However, once directed back to the Secureboxoffice.com / Vendor website the total for the transaction read $991.70 USD.

At no point was it displayed or was I informed that there would be extra charges over and above the 4 x $185 USD. As soon as I saw this discrepancy, I phoned their help line. I was told by the agent that these extra charges were for 'Delivery and Service Charges'. I explained that these extra charges totalling $251.70 USD, were added without my prior knowledge and were only added on after I authorized PayPal payment for the 4 x 185 = $740. The agent listened to my concern and told me he would look into this & then put me on hold. After 10-15 mins the line went dead.

This is unacceptable as I was not informed of this extra charges totalling $251.70 USD prior to my authorizing the payment. In my opinion, these extra hidden charges are totally unacceptable. I would get better and more honest service from a street side scalper.

I have opened a dispute with PayPal over this transaction.

This is a scam site.

We were scammed by Secureboxoffice as well. We were told we would be purchasing tickets in a specific row on the Mezz level. After arriving at the show we were seated in the very back row. We paid more than double the face value on the tickets. We called to complain and ask for a refund and they refused. This was a very special occasion for us that required us to save our money. My wife had wanted to see Wicked for years and the night was marred by this scam site. Very sad.

I recently purchased what I thought was 3 tickets for a show. Apparently, i accidentally selected 2 tickets. It is strange though because there were several boxes to choose from and one of them was 2 or 4 tickets and the other was 1 or 3 tickets. I guess it is possible that i selected the wrong box. Regardless, I didn't notice the wrong increment on my email confirmation because i only looked at the price (which seemed correct for three tickets because of the jacked up $16 service charge per ticket and the shipping cost). When i contacted secureboxoffice, they were no help and of course reiterated their no refund or exchange policy. When i did some research, i realised that I had paid almost double face value for the tickets. It is very disappointing because i thought that this was the box office for the show. Don't make the mistake i did, read everything before you purchase and always check ticetmaster directly to see if they sell the tickets for face value before wasting your time with this site. Now, my only choice is to go to the show with my child and leave my husband at home, spend more to let him sit in another section, or resell our tickets for less than 1/2 of what we bought them for and then buy more.

SecureBoxOffice.com does think there is a difference between floor seats and balcony seats. I paid for premium floor seats and they refused to refund or exchange when they sent me inferior seats.
According to SecureBoxOffice, an order categorized as right center "means that any of the right center sections may be provided to
fill the order."
Buyer beware and stay clear of this scalping ticket service who specialize in bait and switch.

I agree. It seems that Ticket scamming is now the norm. I ordered/paid for BB King tics, balcony seats @ $107.00 each and stated my name, got loads of superfluous emails but, in record time ( 2months before the performance date) received 8.5x11 tickets proudly made out to a strange patron name at exactly half price! The explanation attached suggested that my choice of seats 'May' have been upgraded at no additional cost (were not), the strange patron was ID'd as the original purchaser (scammer cover name), then the price difference was washed as 'the prices are set by the seller and are frequently higher than the face value' by an innocent 'private ticket broker'. Of course, the tickets are non-refundable in the case of a cancellation. So, am I likely to fall for this again? I'll buy a DVD and imagine it's a private performance.

I agree. I bought three tickets to Les Mis for $65 each which wound up to be over $90.00/ticket by the time they were delivered from Amazon (to whom I also complained about secureboxoffice). Face value on the tickets was $30.00. If I knew the face value when I inquired about the tickets, I would have checked other sources and not bought from secureboxoffice. Secureboxoffice customer service told me they don't know face values -I don't believe them. Secureboxoffice sight stated ticket price was $65.00. I believe they are intentionally ripping off people. Watch out for the [protected] follow up call. They'll try to sell you a buying program for $29.95/month. They feel they suckered you once and want to do it again.

I recently purchased tickets from secureboxoffice.com, the price was fair, delivery was on-time. Five days after the transaction I started recieving repetitive phone calls from a [protected], 5 of them in two days. I tried to answer the call several times but would find a dead line. I finally lost my patience when they called at 9:59pm. I called them to find out that it was secureboxoffice calling from an automated dialer. I won't use their service again. Our business was done. I had already responded to their multiple follow up emails. Hammering my phone for no good reason is an unacceptable way of doing business to this customer, now former customer. Jon T

I recently bought tickets for So You Think You Can Dance. They were very expensive but they came up as the Official Secure website. The price was $150, a $30 service fee and a $15 delivery charge to fedex them across town. When the tickets arrived, they were issued by Ticketmaster at 58.50 with a 11.59 service fee. DO NOT BUY YOUR TICKETS HERE! They are scalpers NOT official sellers! I have copies of my email receipt and the original ticket.
