I have unsubscribed from your service almost 2 months ago but I still get a monthly bill of $13.74NZD taken away. What is Scribd's problem? Why won;t they just leave me and my bank account alone? I forgot to unsubscribe from their service before the free trial ended and so I did, but they're still taking money out and I need it to help out my parents! What the hell is happening? I am so disappointed...

I have NEVER subscribed to your useless product and INR 646 is being deducted every month through my credit card. I strongly warn you against legal action if this is not stopped immediately.
Pls be clear- I DO NOT WANT YOUR SUBSCRIPTION .

I've tried a number of times to become a scribd member and get the benefit of a 30 day free trial. However, scribd app is not accepting my card. This has never happened before. It's been a week and I'm in an urgent need to read books. I filed the complaint a week ago and the matter is not resolved yet.

I am not aware about the scribd. What it is? I never contacted by any media with this site & I am getting charge every month of INR 647. Let me know why I am being paid for this? I don't want to be continue this transaction for next month. Please unsubscribe all my linkage with this company. If I get paid for next month I will file FIR against this company.

I have no memory of making this account, none of my emails are linked to this account. I don't have a product number because I don't remember ordering anything from your company. Please refund and cancel the account ASAP!

I am duday de sales from the Philippines. It just came to my attention that there is regular charging of 8USD twice per month in my Citibank account from Scribd.
I have no subscription with Scribd at all and I sent them request for cancellation of the alleged subscription. Charges started in March 2018 until now.

I notified Citibank about this but cancellation should be made through Scribd. All they can do is to block the card and change.

I do not have an account with SCRIBD and I have never heard of them but I have been getting charged $8.99 every month for 2 years. Of course there is no way to speak to a live person with the contact phone number they have so I will have to go through my financial institution's fraud dept to put a stop to this. SCRIBD is getting rich $8.99 at a time because they prey on the fact that not everybody has the time to study their bank statement every day.

I am writing to complain about the fact that Scribd has been charging me without my knowledge for tha past two or three months at $8.99 a month for no services. I canceled my account with scribd as soon as I registered because I didn't have the time outside my schedule to read. As my records with scribd will indicate I haven't even logged onto scribd before or used any of scribd services. I do not understand why I am being charged. Please look into this and refund my money. I got to know this after my account went negative. I am counting on your usual cooperation in such matters.

Just like every other complaint, I ended my membership with Scribd months ago and I just found out that Scridb has continued to charge me 8.99 since then. I cannot find a way to get in contact with this company except via email, but it appears from prior complaints that speaking with someone won't be very helpful anyway. This kind of deceit should not be allowed. Me and everyone else who has been taken advantage of by this company should come together and sue Scribd as a class action (I'm serious)!

Although I have enrolled to sribdt, when I tried to access scrib the system iteratively still asked me to initiate a free trial and when I try to access a book the system did not allow me to access it.

I sent several emails to the suppport email adddres they have in their website and they never bothered to reply, in the meantime they started to charge their monthly charge and I still sent emails to cancel the subscription and they did, finally I had to access paypal and cancel the automatic payment.

Do not subscribe to scribdt beacuse they are completely unreliable and not responding

Just like other complainants here, I also cancelled my membership upon using up my free month. My account clearly showed that I don't have an active membership yet my card was charged automatically. I already emailed scribd about it asked them to cancel my membership but my card was again charged for 2 months! Again, I emailed them to refund the charges but nobody is answering back.

Is this is some kind of scam?

I cannot afford to lose $8.99 a month for whatever service it is that you provide. It looks as if others are also having the same problem with your charging methods. You provide no "cancel" tab to do this, and it looks as if other complaints have received no responses. Do I need to contact the San Francisco Better Business Bureau to get this done and have you refund my money? Please respond ASAP with confirmation that you have cancelled any perceived contract you think you have with me, and I will stop there. Otherwise, in addition to filing complaints with monitoring agencies, I will also pursue actions to be refunded any unauthorized withdrawals you have already made and those you may make until this is resolved by eliminating any business relationship you believe you have with me. Thank you for a quick resolution of this problem.

I need some help, this is not okay! If I did open this account, I don't know how to get into it and I still would like the payments to stop.

I signed up months ago, used the month and then cancelled. scribd charged my card but credited the charge back. My credit card has been charged again and now I can't find the place to contact them. Before I found it easily. I would like my credit card credited for 8.99 and would like them to stop charging my card and destroy my card # so they won't continue to charge without authorization.

This company has also stolen my copyrighted material/intellectual material/ book titled Thanks For The Memories, The Truth Has Set Me Free, by Brice Taylor (my pseudonym) by offering free pdf's of my entire copyrighted book. In the past my book sold for 24.95, then 29.95 and now 49.95. If I had sold 7000 copies of my book I would have made a million dollars.

Scribd is not the only website to offer my book for free, but I have been contacting each one and most have complied. Scribd only complied recently.
