Amway Mixed Reviews Reflecting Real Customer Experiences

As an Amway Independent Business Owner, I understand the importance of transparency and honesty. Reading through the reviews, it's clear that opinions about Amway vary widely. Some customers praise the quality of products like the Nutrilite Protein powder, highlighting its effectiveness and benefits for their health. Others express disappointment, citing issues with product delivery, customer service, and the business model itself. It's essential to consider both positive and negative feedback when making decisions. As someone dedicated to providing the best experience for my customers, I strive to address concerns and deliver exceptional service. Your trust and satisfaction are my top priorities.

Amway Finally. Amazing!

Amway have been in business for over 50+ plus years. They are an $11.8 Billion dollars company. The only thing you cannot buy from Amway is furniture's but they are partner with other company like BestBuy, Lowes. Home Depot. Sears and so many more. Amway is base in the USA. The Headquarter and the warehouse located in Michigan near Grand Rapids. They owned the Orlando Magic and the Amway Center in Orland Florida they used to sponsored the Detroit Red Wings up until 2 years ago. So there is a lot of trust.
But what's more interesting to me is the fact that Amway partner with Neutrilite. Neutrilite is a company that grow organic plants. Neutrilite turns plants into supplements for people like me who is not eating as much fruits and vegetables, so if you're desire to live well, lose weight and be healthy, you should definitely check it out and they are 100% organic. You cannot buy Neutrilite anywhere else except through Amway. So go check it out for yourself. Amwaycom/samuelsilien thank me later. I like hot chocolate with marshmallows lol later.

Amway pyramid scheme

Pictures speak a thousand words.

The sale of the products is supposed to be the business model...
But when most of the products have a profit margin of less than 20% (please see pictures) it's hard to make a sustainable profit...

especially when most of these products can be found in the grocery store. leaving this company and it's "Approved Provider" was the most freeing thing I've ever done.

While the above negative complaint was passionate (lol) and the racial slurs were offensive... I BELIEVE EVERY WORD OF IT! I suspect it's not just black women - it's women in general. My personal experience with the security staff was similar. I found the security staff to be completely ineffective and rude during my interactions with them at a Magic game. I had a security problem and security staff refused to help us. I am not able to go into detail because of pending litigation, but I can tell you they should ALL BE FIRED! When the security staff finally responded they were rude and treated us with contempt. The "floor managers" as well as the uniformed staff are completely for appearance. They stand around and do nothing and treat the female spectators like SH***! And to the smart a*s who told the Angela522 to call "Rev Al" ... with that attitude you should be working for them too - you'll fit right in. The truth is still the truth - Amway security staff are absolutely rude and obnoxious.

I think that you might be a little to sensitive about this and need to stop ranting. Really, do you think that your lies will work to make a facility that serves the minority community as this one does would be racist? I really find that offensive. If it's so bad then cal Rev Al and he will make it right by shaking down the Amway Center for a bribe as he usually does when he need fast cash.

Amway Collection Harassment/Fraud/Scam?

I have been getting calls from an unknown phone number for a couple of days now. One day a message was left saying that I have a formal complaint against me and I need to call a certain number asap or i will be served at home or at my place of employment. They also called one of my friends and said the same about me and gave them a case number as well. He never said where is was calling from or what he what company he was calling for. So I was at my desk one day and received a call at work and he stated his name which i believe is fake and told me the same thing that was left on the voicemail. He asked me to verify my last four and name - I shouldn't have but i did and he said it was for a bad check written but he couldn't give me anymore details he just said that i need to call a certain number before they serve me so that i can settle it. I asked who is the company and how much is it for, but he could not give me anymore details. Just that their company's name is Amway Financial and I need to call that number asap. I told him to stop calling my job and any numbers they have in their system and to mail me at home only. He said that he would note it in the system.

I believe it is a scam, I have had payday loans before and have paid them all. The fact that he couldn't give me my whole ssn and my whole house address leaves me suspicious and also he couldn't even give me the company name and the details of the debt I owe. Something smells fishy, please beware. And they had to call from an unknown number as well and refer me to call another number as has sent nothing in the mail to this affect.

I got a call from them to. They told me they were filing a civil complaint against me. I was sceptical to call back because I thought it may be a scam. I never returned the messages. But I finally did call the number that was left by voice mail by a Ann Jones, a few times...To find it was in regards to a pay day loan that I had taken out and could not afford to pay back at the time. I do owe this loan. After contacting my attorney I was advised that they can file a civil complaint & request the court summons me to appear. In most instances, the plaintiff does not call person to attempt to settle of court ~ but he suguested that maybe this is a new approach. Anyways he said after getting the docs in person or in the mail I have a time frame to answer the complaint or the court may enter a judgement against me. Ms Taylor was helpful in answering my questions and even set a payment arrangement that I could afford. After paying this off she sent me a paid in full letter and the matter has been resolved.

Like many, I have had payday loans in the past, and I currently have one. However, I have paid back all of them. When you fill out the info for the payday loan companies, it's pretty simple for your information to end up in the wrong hands. IMO They are making money off of people's financial problems. They will probably do this to thousands and thousands of people and some will be scared into sending them money.

I just received a call from a private number. It was a ladies voice(I can't remember the name) They told me I had a complaint filed against me for writing a bad check. They never said the name of their business or who was the specific person that had filed a complaint. However, they said I have a right to know who it was that had filed the complaint. They gave me the number [protected] to call back. The funniest part was, when I pressed "0" to speak immediately with a representative, the SAME LADIES VOICE was on the automated response for her answering machine with...you guessed it...a different name. This company is trash and are mentally insane if they think I'm sending any money or speaking with any of their representatives until they state a specific amount for which I "owe" or the "company" that they are representing.

Funny part is,

I’ve been getting the same calls. They have also been calling other people who know me and telling them the exact same things that the rest of you have experienced. After I threaten them with a call from my attorney (because they said I would be arrested, which is an illegal action) I was told that they are collecting for a company called Cash Well which is a pay day loan company that I am unfortunately in default with. I can’t afford to pay them and I can’t make them stop calling people they find to be connected with me.

I have had the same thing happen. They agreed to make payment arrangements with me however my whole damn checking account was hacked. The account that was hacked was not tied to the account number I gave them. They told me they would serve me with papers regarding this issue last week. As of today I have not had papers served nor had a call back. I will wait a week or so before contacting them. I think they are legitmate but use illegial tactics.

I started to receive calls from a "Natasha Williams". She is telling me the same thing and I have not had a checking account in years so I know that is bogus. She slipped up and said they would start tracking me down and I would get "served" at work and at home. I have received collection calls and they all state the call is being recorded and it is for debt collection purposes. She never says that, never says what company she is with, never states what party is after me for writing a bad check. Again, if you don't have a bank account, you can't write a bad check. This sounds like a scam to me.

So has anyone heard from them since the threat? Anyone get served with papers? Just wondering since they told me the same as above. I did not give them any of my info and I called my debt person who is handling all my payments. They told me that they were probably not legit and to see if they call again. If they do by law they have to send a letter by 30 days that they have assumed the debt to notify us.

Bless your souls Mr. Biki Kadimo and Dennis Hogan... You may still be alive here on earth, but both of your souls are already waiting to be burned in hell..

I think these scammers are a group of people working to milk money to those hopeless romantic girls, as they are usually found on dating sites.. I met Dennis Hogan at cebuanas.. At first I never thought something fishy was going on.. such a charmer.. I refused all the gifts as I am not that materialistic type of person. Then after thinking for awhile, I know that nothing is free here in this world, all of a sudden, he's been very gallant.. sending me parcels.. then I started to get suspicious, thank god for google.. I googled their names, websites and numbers.. and lots of complaints about these scammers.. Lord, please let them all die.. heheheh.. After how many sleepless nights, because I was not able to help him retrieve those parcel, as I thought that it was confiscated (all freakin lies), now I felt relieved.. Knowing I didn't harm anybody or somebody. I hope they'll have super bad karmas, to whoever these scammers are.. Ladies, sweet words, charms and expensive gifts - wake up! Nothing is free anymore.. Think twice and always be wise... God bless us everyone and may God guide us always so that we are never going to encounter things like this in the future...

Dear,

How are you doing today? Wow, The Malaysian courier company just called me
right now about the parcel. I've been running around the city of
Bahamas looking for an internet cafe. Finally, I found
one...so here I am going through your emails.

Well.i have been trying to get you on phone but it seem not to work
out, anyway I was able to contact the Canada regional director of the
courier company all the way from here. Satisfactory, he was able to
tell me in details why the parcel I sent since last week is being
withheld by the Malaysian custom. Well, I must say I really made a
mistake by enclosing currency notes in the parcel in the first place.
However, this particular parcel transited in other countries such as
Dubai without any interruption. So, I wonder how strict the custom of
Malaysia is that they were able to detect the currency notes in the
parcel.

Well, whatever, I guess the most important thing now is how to make
sure the parcel is released. As a matter of fact, I would have loved
to make this payment directly from here if I had some money in cash.
Actually, all the purchases I've been making here are being made with
my credit card. So my dear, all I need you to now is to do your
possible best in order to make sure that the parcel is released, ok?
Please, do not hesitate to dip into the money in the parcel when it
arrives your country for the reimbursement of whatever you spent. I would
not mind sending you another money through your bank account when I get back
to London if the balance will not be adequate for the all the
necessary preparations for our vacation.

my dear you can go ahead and make the payment so that the parcel will
be released...

Yours in Bahamas,
Dennis

>>>>> I suspected something is fishy when both of them used "do your possible best"... very tricky.. Bahamas your face! Calling the regional office director on such an untimely hour and as if you are that close with the regional director. And this Mr. Biki fellow, weird name.. Kept on telling me that I should pay or my parcel will be confiscated.. I told him to contact the sender, not me, since he was the one to send it to me and I never asked him to send me those.. Those freakin' scammers, giving us false hopes to finding true love.. Ohh what a nightmare.. I am so relieved that they never get a single cent from me... Shame on you guys, don't you have a life? Freak you all..

Amway Cheated by taking Rs.2.5 Lacs

I had come to know Ashok Sharma from Amway and was also lured into the business of Amway through him. During the course of time he developed good relations and trust with me and we used to do Amway Business together. However, Ashok Sharma used to always boast about his good contacts developed through Amway Business and used to take me around with him to meet these Govt. officials he knew. One day he came at my home and told me that there was an opportunity for getting job in a govt deptt for Rs. 5 Lakhs and he said that Rs.2.5 Lacs was required upfront and the rest later after getting the job. I asked a few friends of mine who were still looking for govt jobs and one of them showed interest. So i collected Rs.2.5 Lacs from him and gave it to Ashok Sharma for getting the job. However, as soon as he got the money Ashok Sharma started ignoring my calls and even stopped meeting me. My repeated attempt to ask him about the job promised resulted in vain. And eventually, i confronted him about the money after 3 months which he said he had given to the friend of his for getting the job. I then asked him to return my money and he gave me a cheque for the amount which bounced. The moment ashok sharma came to know about the check bounce he started making fake promises about giving back the money and somehow managed to fool me further for another 6 months after which time he knew that i could not file a case in the court. I then meet some amway friends of mine who knew ashok sharma to force him to give me my money back, but they too expressed their inability to get the money from him, mostly because he was part of their amway business and they would not risk loosing him or making bad relations with him.

I am now left no where to go, and i have paid my friend Rs.2.5 lacs back that i took from him from my own saving, this for trusting a person i knew from Amway which boasts of its ethical business standards. I want to ask this to amway that how are they managing to still keep this person with them when everyone in the amway business in Shimla knows that ashok sharma is a cheat and that he has joined amway just to make contacts and rob people of money. In another case ashok sharma had also taken Rs. 1.5 lacs from another amway owner for which a case has been registered against him..

Please help me with this..

Amway Bad quality products

As a former Amway distributor and user. Its not true to say that amway products were of good quality. Often there were not good enough to bother using. I wont bother talking about the other issues about amway. I was very succesfull with AMWAY but got tired of the low quality of products. Anyone who says the products were good quality is outright lieing.

Amway Amway Cheating consumers

Hi,
I am highly ofended and disturbed after talking to one of the customer care executive @ Amway today. I am a regular user of Amway products and recently i gotto know the 1+1 free lipstick offer from one of the distributors (who also asked me to view this scheme on amway.in). Another friend of mine who is also a distributor denied of this offer saying that the website is outdated and this scheme has expired.

I tried calling up the amway customer care and to my astonishment and surprize the customer care executive misbehaved and was not even ready to listen to me (since i am not a distributor).
He even told me that the website amway.in is NOT meant for customers and general public and i have no rights to get any information from them.
I wanna ask the autorities 1 question - ultimately the customer pays for the product and don't we have right to get the correct information? In such an ambiguity and distrust that Amway has created, why should a common man like me ever buy amway prod?

Amway Pyramid Schemes

April 22, 2011

Many of my friends have been victimized by multi-level marketing (MLM) schemes, and I might have been were it not for the knowledge I’ve gained from the web site of Dr. Jon M. Taylor of Consumer Awareness Institute. I implore you to read his reports, and especially his new eBook which can be downloaded free of charge from his web site at www.mlm-thetruth.com.

The Case for and against Multi-level Marketing is a summary of research and reporting by top independent analysts. Dr. Taylor presents compelling evidence that tens of millions of MLM victims lose a total of tens of billions of dollars every year.

I believe it’s essential to get this information out to consumers, since law enforcement is essentially asleep on this issue. For example, the Federal Trade Commission, the nation’s consumer watchdog, is yielding to the Direct Selling Association, the chief MLM lobbyist, to exempt MLM companies from having to disclose information to prospects that would help them make an informed decision about participating.

Consumer advocates, media reporters, and law enforcement agencies have long wrestled with questions about the legitimacy of network or multi-level marketing (MLM). Common questions include: Does anyone actually profit from these schemes, and if so, whom? Are MLM companies (MLMs) legal, or are they skirting the law in most cases? Are MLM products – often “pills, potions, and lotions” – overpriced and merely a front for investing in a disguised pyramid scheme? And are some MLMs more legitimate than others?

Fortunately, the misinformation promoted aggressively by the DSA and the MLM industry is being counteracted by consumer advocates who have founded non-profit organizations to do independent research and to provide guidance to assist consumers in making informed decisions about MLM participation. A leading consumer advocate in this field is Dr. Jon Taylor, whose research is based on analyses of over 350 MLMs and 15 years of worldwide feedback to his Consumer Awareness Institute. Dr. Taylor has just completed a new e-book summarizing thousands of pages of research and reporting by independent analysts and research firms. The book The Case for and against Multi-level Marketing – and numerous reports to guide consumers, attorneys, and educators can be downloaded free of charge from his web site www.mlm-thetruth.com

Sincerely,

James Davison

Amway Ambots and Scams!

I have been reading a lot of the Amway/Quixtar complaints on this board and every single IBO response sounds exactly the same! It's like they have all been trained to have every response ready VERBATIM. Not one person has missed a beat. The scam is so obvious that the questions are too, so I guess it's best to have a response ready.

I had a friend who contacted me, we went to dinner and I'm telling you, I thought she and I were building a friendship for life! She and our other very good friend were going to help me move, wanted to spend time with my kids, get to know my husband etc. etc. Turns out that was a lie. It was just to get me to come to these meetings. Her first question? Could I use some extra money/like an opportunity to make money etc. I knew I couldn't say no, because everybody does. But the second I heard that question: RED flag. It's the first lead in to the "wonderful world" of Amway. Even stranger...nobody would tell me what the name of the business was. NOBODY. I went to a meeting where I was greeted with smiles and best friend forever hugs, but nobody would say what the heck we were supposed to be selling or doing? Just the same rhetoric of dreams and hopes and teamwork etc. Not that these are bad things, but they encouraged all of these young college students that an education is not needed. Don't go learn from professors now how to make a little when you can use all your time to make a lot. Everyone who is successful dropped out of college...great lesson.

It's like the only thing they actually have to offer is motivational crap about change your life, be a star, you are special. It was really creepy. CREEPY! They were all wide-eyed with anticipation, and definitely acting the "fake it til you make it" because they have made nothing, but they sure do feel fulfilled and special. Nobody would answer my questions and they all started bowing down to this person who was in their "upline" or what not. They just kept referring me to some online video or telling me to talk to this person or that person. "Oh, I can't explain it like they can!" or some version of this line was the only response I ever got.

I attended a business meeting and a group meeting, I even ordered an expensive piece of ### jewelry to support her, however I politely declined, fully expecting our "strong" friendship would remain in tact. I was wrong. Every person abandoned me. They are too tunneled into some hopeful success in dropping out of college and doing something that they don't understand and can't talk about. They are losing friends, family and everyone around them who is not a part of this bizarre world. I didn't say anything negative, I just thought they would figure out soon enough and we could carry on. But they are too far gone to notice anything in the real world anymore.

My husband mentioned something about "Scamway" on facebook which resulted in one IBO (my friends' boyfriend) messaging him repeatedly trying to convince him of this and that. Some college drop out (or at drop out to be) telling an extremely talented, well educated, business-minded 10-year-his-senior grown man what's what. Freaks! The second you say anything about it they don't agree with, they freak out. I mean, literally swarm all over you talking about being number one, going on a cruise, living the dream and other metaphors that make no sense. NOBODY CARES about your fake success! And trust me, the last person on earth who you could ever trick into thinking this was ever a legitimate organization or business structure is my husband.

This organization and it's participants are the EPITOME of CREEPINESS. No wonder the FTC won't support this operation, they have been investigated numerous times, sued, settled, bankrupted and started all over again with a brand new face on the same old bull ### for the tiniest handful of freaks "earning" anything by ###ting their way over others. If you want to work for yourself, find a real business with a real plan, or try to come up with something for yourself. What the people in this business do to their people and the people around them is wrong.

P.S. I'm sure, without a doubt, I can predict every word some nutty IBO will say in response to what I have here...CREEPY!

I did Amway in Canada years ago and your summary is exactly what I was told. Someone from my church contacted me and wanted to help me as well and to help me succeed and they had you going all over the place for these stupid meetings and you are getting poor and they were getting rich. When you can't recruit people to go to these stupid meetings then they stop contacting you. So after a period of time I quit going to their meetings and got what little refund I could from that business kit.

I cannot wait to read the canned Amway response to this well written document.

Amway Bad service

My friend was selling Amway so I went to the little presentation. There was another rep there that gave me a small sample of make-up to try out. She told me to take it home and see what I thought. I told my friend I didn’t like and probably wouldn’t buy. About a week later the other rep called me and asked for her make-up sample back! I told her I was confused because I thought the sample was for me to keep. She informed me that all samples are shared. I told that make-up was not supposed to be shared. She continued to send me texts telling me to give her the sample back. I told I would but I was always going to call the company. She then proceeded to be extremely rude. When I told her I would send the make-up back to the company and not her because I did not want to deal with her she told me, “You’re getting the rudeness you deserve. You mess with my company, you mess with me.” I’m sorry…what? How am I the one messing with a company? It’s never good business practice to pass around USED make-up samples with their USED brushes. Gross!

My Schwan's rep got me and my husband to go to a meeting and now he won't return emails or calls in response to my declining to become part of his "group" through LTD in Norfolk, VA. It is sad that people seem to flip out - but then again I guess they have to take their anger out on the people smart enough to see a pyramid scheme when they see one; bottom line is if the business or people cannot provide you with a copy of the FTC document of disclosure for their part then they are likely an even bigger scam and want you to buy "educational tools" to help you succeed in the business. RUN!

I too sell from Amway. I apologize that she was rude to you. Please keep in mind that she is only a rep for what product she sells. The quality of the product does not change because of the seller. Many times I buy from McDonalds from burgers to bottle water. However, I do come across people who are plainly rude and mean. The cooperate cannot change the way their employees act, but they can reprimand them and/or terminate them. On the contrary, the rep you spoke with is her own boss. She is the cooperate. If you remember her rep number and name, call Amway to report her. They will instruct you what to do.

I'm so sorry this happened to you! I am a business owner through the World Wide Group, and I sell Amway products. Not everyone who sells Amway does so through the same company, like I said mine is through WWG. I would never treat someone like that and neither would any of my association. I hope this doesn't tarnish your thoughts of Amway in general, a lot of the products are great. Again, I'm so sorry that person was so rude to you! You are right, makeup should not be shared!

Every experience at Club Mahindra has been a memorable one. From the tucking to giving bath to elephants we got more than expected. Adding to that, the food is delicious with the wide variety of dishes, even every meal has been a satisfying one.
The most important is all the staff. They are even so courteous and willing to make the guest comfortable, by being friendly & helpful. Not only handful of them, but literally each one of them putting a great location and excellent resorts together, this stay will always be remembered.

Amway Loan Scams

Well here is another complaint about a loan scam that I just went through. I consider myself as a person that would not get a scam with Amway Finance Group. WRONG! Started the process in June 2009.

I received a phone call, typical, stating I was approved for a loan of $6000.00. Phone call was from a guy named Earl Covington ([protected]@yahoo.ca (Later I found out that this was a yahoo account in Canada). He emailed me the documents that looked like a normal loan contract. I faxed it to him [protected]) and then received that call that many of us who were scamed, asking for $460.06 be sent to a Canadian address (Ajax) as an insurance returnable fee. Prior to sending this money I emailed Earl Covington with my concerns if this was a scam that I read about, of course he stated no, they were legit. Well I believed that and of course sent the money. The money was to be in my account within two to four hours (of course it wasn't).

The next day I received an email and call from Earl Covington who stated the lender needed another $460.06 due to my credit status. Like a fool, I sent it to the same gentlemen (Matthew Munroe) with another promise of my loan being deposited in my account. Low and behold it was not. I called again [protected]) and asked for Earl Covington but instead was transferred to the "Account Department" and spoke with an Edward Gonza (edwardgonza.yahoo.com). He stated that Mr. Covington did not tell me the truth about the loan and he apoligized and said he disciplined Mr. Covington. Wow, now I thought it still was a legit organization. Edward Gonza stated that I still owed a brokerage fee. I could not locate that statement but yes it was printed that as a first time customer they charge such a fee. Now I really needed the funds since I borrowed most of costs for the "insurance fees" where were coming back to me at the end of the contract. There I go, another $700.oo sent to a different person in Canada. Another promise that the monies would be in my account in two to four hours - which it did not.

The next morning, felt like a fool now, and asked for Edward Gonza to cancel my loan and at least return my "insurance fees" along with the promise by both Mr. Covington and Mr. Gonza of my Western Union fees. Well, I was transferred to another person named David he now stated I need to send more money to get this loan. At that time I knew it was a scam and was really pissed off. I spoke to David asking about my refunds and that this is a scam that violated human ethics. I was quickly sent to an answereing machine, which I did leave a message to speak to David.

Still pissed off I called the number and asked for Edward Gonza or David, both were busy and I was promised to be called back. Well I waited for 2 hours and attempted to call the number and now it was disconnected as told to me with a recording in English and French.

That day I notified all of the same authorities as most people have in the other postings.

Please do NOT let Amway Finance Group get ahold of anyone else. I should have known better but when you are in financial difficulties you believe that the loan was true.

Was scamed by this group in July 2009. They got $750.00 out of me, then wanted more money. I closed my account at bank so they couldn't get any monies out of it. Please don't let this happen to you. This was all the money I had for the month.

I talked with 3 people. Sharon Taylor, Nancy Walsh and Eric in customer service. Told to send wire internationally to save some fees and send to Mathew Munroe. They made one mistake. I have the real name of the Sharon Taylor person. The first fax they sent me was sent accidentially with the persons real name on it. When I asked severtal times, who this person was, they denied it was sent. But on a fax transmittal, the number faxing from always appears at the top. The name was Ionica Mihalachie. I could tell tey became very nervous and that's why they woold not let me talk to Ionica AKA Sharon Taylor. They all talked with an accent. How can these people listen to you cry sending them every dime you have until next payday, take your money like this. These people need to be stopped. Like I mentioned, I have one of their real names. I will not let this rest.

Ken I also fell victim to this company. I recieved a call from a Nancy Walsh and she promised me 30000. I thought it was legit also but had many reservations. At the time we were looking for som loans to pay off some debt. but dont remember appying for this company. When she told me i had to pay 1200 to recive it i though it was a small price to pay to get this much money. I had to borrow it from my dad though. When she told me i had to pay 1700 because of my credit I really becam suspisous. but i borrowed it from my dad again. but before i did i made this woman give me a guarentee and she did. But for the hell of it we called wester union fraud hotline just to check things out and they told me it was fruad. so i caled her back and canceled it. she then told me i had to pay 700 to cancel. which i will never pay. Do you know what happened to this place. I did file a complaint with the fbi. and they did pursue the complaint i think. I do not see thier website anymore. email me at ramtough9904

Amway Looting peoples money and Brainwashing them

I would like to know that there are many people in and around San Jose who are making others life miserable by calling or meeting in the groceries and talk about their IBO. I want to complaint to the government against this. Recently a couple called Prasanth and Renjini...followed me and my husband around walmart to talk to us to get into this business.. It is purely soliciting. I want to complaint again this one and want them to be out of our way, .

Perhaps Very True,
Many incidents are happening here in India too. I was shopping in 'Total' Mall in Bangalore, and from no where, a couple start communication and tried to continue relations by relating himself to my hometown, then he offered Cup of tea at his place which we accepted. After having tea, we also offered them to come our place for the same. They got the chance, and they came with all their IBO of (Britt Worldwide) and started my Mindwash saying they are different from AMWAY. I was expecting a healthy terms with him, but then was frustrated to listen his million rupees plan. They just want me to shell out 1000/- as membership/registration. I found my self in his trap which he has intentionally created at the Mall. These people can be anywhere searching for their soft-targets. BEWARE to become members...if you can not make the same traps for others.

Amway Cheating people

On weekend while we went shopping, my husband and I met this person by name Ram Yellamanchi. He started a conversation with us with regards to a product we were looking at buying in the store. He inquired about my husband's nature of job and later phoned us that next day trying to inquire if my husband can spend few hours after his work for his company. We asked him if it was network marketing like Amway, he said he didn't even know what network marketing is and mentioned it was not Amway.

We asked him about his companies website and nature of job and told him if we find it interesting, we might think of it. That next day he phoned us a dozen times asking us to attend a seminar his senior team lead was giving. It was at sheraton. We asked this guy a million times about the nature of the job and stuff, he told us that his companies website is yellamanchalis.com.

When we phoned the hotel to find out what exactly the seminar was all about, we were told it was an e-commerce seminar.

Later when we went in there, we were taken by surprise to see that it was indeed Amway. It was such a waste of time and the most disgusting part is that the guy lied to get us to that seminar.

I have friends who work for Amoco and we order stuff through them and we liked the products too. Sadly because of people like Ram, the company loses its reputation.

It was a mere waste of time.

Yes, I do agree that Amway is cheap. It will make you to sell the product to your own mother/Wife. These people are such bigtime losers who will waste your 2 hours!.

One of my best friend called me one day stating that he would like to take suggestion from me about the business as I have the knowledge about the business world. As I know the biz world, I agreed to spent two hour with my friend.

There he is, explaining me for hours to join Amway. I told him arre baba, mei to insaan hum... sub logo ko idar jeena hei... mei kushi hun aur mei kushi rahna chaahta hu...

I told him that he lied me. Even to sell this, you'll lie to your mother. Chain marketing ( hidden in case of amway ) will make you cheaper than a street seller.

In order to get people under your tree, you'll even convince your wife, mother, daddy, brother and everyone. Believe me people hate this. I don't want my relatives hate my...

Beware! This may not be fake. But your reputation in the community goes down. People think that this guy is cheaper than a street seller. Go for a franchisee or some other way to do a genuine business. Don't make your own people hate you!.

People hate door sellers. Don't get in to Amway. My friend is in amway for 9 years. He's still nothing. He told me much about this [censor]!

Totally agree with both comments above. Quixtar/Amway is scam. Pyramid Schemes never work! If selling products is only on the internet then anyone can create their own website and sell whatever they like. (Since if it is all about E-commerce).

These representatives are all liars, and my theory is to earn something, you must work hard for it. If businesses like Quixtar can help someone to make money then everyone in the world will be doing this.

My family, friends and I have suffered a lot due to this business. I was approached by a family friend (Neelofar and her gang in Jersey City) and was involved with this business for 6 months. The people who we were involved with were liars and illiterate. Their demand would be not to discuss business plan with anyone without their permission and not to talk to cross-lines. And even if we spoke with someone then they would make a huge deal out of it. Later on we had a huge argument with the diamond and other people in that group to explain what waste of time this thing is.
To Quixtar reps, education/job was not important and neither had they valued it in their speeches.
Now, what job /business in the world de-value education and job?
Morals are something; these people do not have morals.
Anyhow, I can go on and on but will say one thing, please stay away from these people.

This was totally true because it happened to us and we are so sad! I was a member in Amway, and then I cancelled my account due to their false talk! They’re really, really BIG CHEATERS as everyone commented. We have truly suffered, but thanks to God that I’ve cancelled everything. I can’t deny that they have some good projects, but very rare! Amway’s projects are so expensive, even if you just register, so it cost a lot!
The problem is that their project doesn’t renews, it just stays the same thing.
I agree 100% with those who complains on Amway cause I have tried it very well. I couldn’t even sell the projects I booked to my friends because it way so expensive. It has a same problem in Sweden because my friend lives their and she explained the same problem to me(she was also a member in Amway).
I’m now registered in a company that has satisfied me too much, actually and it is Oriflame. I hope someone of you can know more about it because it’s 100% Swedish naturally and safety projects.
It’s not a joke, because I’ve tried Oriflame and wish to proclaim it to every one of you.
I’ve a lot of things to explain about Amway, but maybe later.

Thanks in advance

Amway Brainwashing techniques they use, which strongly resemble those used by religious cults

When I realized my husband would never be able to bring himself to do the things they asked in order to "build the business", I asked, and then begged that he stop spending the money on books and tapes, seminars and major rallies.

He just kept going on with it, and the longer it went the more I realized that the primary reason we could not get any real help from our upline was that they were already making plenty of money from us off of their share of the tapes, books, seminars, and rallies. Just one example; it costs pennies each to mass duplicate a tape of one of these "upline" talking at a rally, and our price for the two tapes of the week ten years ago was over $7.00 each!

Finally I asked our oh-so-caring sponsors to talk to him and get him to drop the business since he was obviously not going to work it. Instead, they encouraged him to continue having contact with them behind my back, he got a credit card that I did not know about and put $6,000 on it while pulling the bills out of the mail so that I never saw them.

This was because I was working a second job to try and pay off the other two credit cards, 80+% of which were charged up with Amway crap. I was giving him $400 a month that he was supposed to be directly applying to charge cards. Instead, he was making the minimum payments and spending the cash on more motivational crap. They told him he was doing the right thing because once he became successful it would all be made up to me, in spades.

$16,000 spent in four years. One marriage nearly ruined. Bankruptcy. And to this day he will not throw out the pictures of himself with those Diamonds and Emeralds. He's not the same person and never will be, thanks to the brainwashing techniques they use, which strongly resemble those used by religious cults.

The only time in my life that I would refuse to urinate on one of those rat-faced Amway ba****** would be if he or she were on fire.

AmyWay is a scam and handles business in a very unethical way. They take advantage of the old and uneducated victims who are lured by misinformation, chasing a goal that’s always so close to reach but never a reality, I invested so much and when they realized I was no longer useful they discarded me like they did to others complaining. Companies like this have always been getting away with it because most people don’t know they can get their money back.
Luckily I found someone in these comments called Alex, the most reliable Asset Recovery Agent who took on my case and made sure I recovered everything I lost. You can email him here;

I am concerned that my son has been brainwashed into being a "business owner". Even though he is highly intelligent (for a 20 year old), he can't seem to do the math. We are negative. We will see when he is making 6 figures in the next year or 2. He apparently has a new family of friends, because his old friends avoid him. His parents are fools, working all these years and not millionaires. He is planning on throwing his college education away for a scam.

Can someone help?

M3C Slimjim & NoCultForMeThanks - Good points!
In fact can any of those earlier scAmway apologists who posted here some years back, can any one confirm that they are now diamonds or at least emeralds? No prizes, I just want to identify your scammer level. The rest of them of course dropped off, quickly scurried somewhere full of embarrassment, while others are still being scammed. Oh "success" is just a around the corner you know. A long corner that's not to be. Meanwhile, life is on going, kids are now in high school, debts have piled up while supporting upline's lifestyle, etc.

I'm guessing that most of the earlier Ambots who posted on this board a few years ago (Heather, GoDiamond) have already dropped out of Amway and have slinked off embarrassed to have been snookered by the scam. The majority of the brainwashed "fired up" IBO's either run out of money or have some kind of epiphany before 2 years are up as to how their finances are in a mess and their personal life screwed up by their change in personality.
The constant "love" and "hugs" described by Arjun is on the list of brainwashing techniques called "lovebombing". People tend to drop their guard and red flags to those who give off warm, fuzzy vibes, regardless of how phony and forced it is. Thus cults use it. Other brainwashing techniques used by Amway is requiring constant "indoctrination" in the guise of "motivational" CDs, meetings and seminars, which keep the victim up late at night as the brain is more open to propaganda when exhausted.
Those who are brainwashed don't see themselves as such. That is the whole idea. They don't see it strange that they alienate friends and family they have known all their life in favor of a "new" set of friends who encourage them to break free of the "negative" (i.e. voices of reason) people close to them. Religious cults are the same way. They counsel that anyone outside of their closed group are negative, evil and to be shunned. Interestingly, these new cult (Amway) friends who hug and love proclaim friendship forever will drop the IBO like a ROCK should they ever drop out of the cult. Then they will call them quitters and losers and other bad names behind their back. So much for that love, eh?
Less than 0.6% of those who get involved in Amway will ever see a decent profit. And for that to happen, like in any pyramid scheme, they have to be ruthless and uncaring of any lives they destroy in order suck in enough downline to make any money. Sorry, for those odds and selling of one's soul, I'll buy a lottery ticket instead and keep my job that pays me over $100, 000 a year, full medical and pension benefits and I enjoy doing and keep my friends and family and peace of mind.

I was new to the US, I met an Indian man at the local post office. He was very friendly and told me how he was self employed. I was new and easily trust people, specially when they talked in Hindi as that is my mother tongue. The man then invited me to a meeting, he asked me to dress formally. I was charged 30$ entree fee. In the meeting I saw hoards of people all dressed very well and on stage a select few people doing a presentation of how rich they were and all the good things in life they had, during dinner break I was shocked to see there was no dinner served! If every one there is so rich and the meeting was of filthy rich people and 30$ entree fee I was expecting a dinner! I was amazed to see these men and women in suits pull out wall-mart bags of home made food from their swanky leather briefcases and eating while they stood out of the hall, no table chair to have dinner, having directly from plastic bags standing. I was truly amazed. The man who got me to the meeting then asked me to fill form and pay couple of hundred dollars, I dint want to so I said I need to think. His wife was very good looking and she was a very sweet lady, he knew I enjoyed her company so he made sure she was the one who explained me the business when I went to his house. He would go to get Ice cream or some crap and leave us alone so she could explain me in detail about the Marketing crap. She would call me when he was not home so she could explain to me everything about the business, she did a great job. She tried her best to convince me to join their growing business, she was very warm lady full of hugs at smallest reasons, she hugged me a lot and told me she felt I was her long lost relative and she hugged me saying I was part of their family. I also made him pay for a few dinners in hope I will join, later he understood I am not interested and gave up.

i really hate this amway ppl, they can even go to the extent of not talking to you anymore if u refuse to be their downline. what kinda of a crap is this. i had my cousins wife over to my place, and she introduced this so called 'wonderful bussiness venture', without mentioning the name amway, finally, when the introduction part was over, she finally uttered the word amway and i was pretty sure that i was not goin to join this cult-like organization and screw my life. i told her that i wasnt interested and she kept bugging my life like forever until she really got my message that i was really NOT INTERESTED..! since then, she neve spoke to any of our family members anymore. i also lost a fren into this bloody scam, she also refuses to talk to me nw..what kinda of a attitude is this? is this what they teach and preach when they attend to all their meetings and seminars. to detach themselves from family and friends who do not join them in this bussiness? please grow up amway distributers..! dun be childish..! mature..!

All the people here. Answer my question, why did Amyway come to America? Research it... Here is the simple point. The company origins were in Europe. They never made any money becasue the government there never approved their products. They thought their next strategy was to come to America and operate there on a different name which is 'Quixtar'. For those of you, who did not research this, do it. It would help. As for the fools who joined the company, learn about business and this includes heather. I would recommed heather go to school and learn.. Even the other idiot godiamond too, do your research instead of ripping people off their money.

Heather tell me why the company's products are not sold in the market? The reason is that the FDA has not approved their products. It is illegal to sell them in the market. Heather did you know about this? I am pretty sure you did not because you are brainwashed by the fools and you are helping them clear out a lot of debt.
Heather, tell me how many lawsuits are against Quixtar. The answer is over 200. The California court awarded once couple about 25000 a month for life and quixtar has to pay it. Heather did not you know about that? Obviously not...

Do the BBB recognize this company. Hell yes. But it is written clearly on the site it is an MLM business and is a pyramid scheme. Heather did you know about this. Obviously not!

Heather, you can marry the other idiot 'godiamond'. He is on this complaint board too. Take the stick out of your ears, clean your head and learn more... Yes you are brainwashed and you are going to loose a lot of money before you will finally admit it that you were wrong

I like how quixtar preaches "fake it till you make it". It's fitting really, as most of their members are fake. I have a friend who's related to Larry Winters, a diamond. His uncle dragged him into the business and been his personal success coach. He's taken him to all the rallies, the get togethers, helped him get all the tapes and paid his costs without him having to do anything really. He's even tried helping him sign up his friends and associates. That wasn't working. So then they had someone FIND candidates to put under my friend. People my friend had no contact with. Then my friend posed as a successful business owner who makes tons at quixtar to these people and offered to be their mentor, spilling rehashed motivational ### to them in the exact words they were told to him.

But what these people don't know is that:
A) He paid nothing. Not the 100 and something dollar IBO registering fee. Not the 5 dollar door charge at every seminar. Not the 10-20 dollars for tapes and videos used to brain wash their members. Nothing on the cost of travel or entry into their conventions.

B) Quixtar operates on a point system. About every 3 dollars you spend, you get 1 point. All members must pull 100 points in order to even see a return from their business. So this means that you are spending 300 dollars or so EVERY MONTH on absolute crap just to get a return. He brags that he's making close to 300 every month just off quixtar already. He doesn't mention how much he's putting hin.

C) The crap he is buying / trying fruitlessly to sell to others is nothing but trinkets and junk. They say it replaces your household spending but truthfully, unless your entire monthly spendings equate to energy drinks, vitamins, and other garbage that would fill a elementary school students bring home christmas catalog... you're not replacing anything.

D) He's been completely brain washed. He's no longer himself. He genuinely BELIEVES the business and everything they feed him. He thinks he's a new person. He's cut people out of his life because they didn't support the idea. For what? A small small check at the end of the month? And that's ABOVE AVERAGE for members in this group. He's had more help than anyone will ever get going into this business. With mediocre success like that, I wonder what it actually takes to make money at this?

So unless you have hundreds of contacts who will all buy mostly useless supplies from you and sign up and spend 300+ a month for your business, you aren't making money. This business isn't for the regular person, but they don't tell you that. Those people are filler and what make it work. They are where the money comes from.

Quixtar is a sham, plain and simple. They are not what they say they are.

This is to godiamond.
I have read your post. You are ignorant and do not understand the business world.

First of all an MLM is an illegal business pyramind. What is the meaning of it? It is when someone tries to sell a product that has little or no meaning to the public. It is sold by hiring members in their downline and finally when no profit is made, the business crashes. Now godiamond the fool who wrote that, I am sure you are going to go down soon for a fact.
Now my question to godiamond. Why are Quixtar's products not sold in the public? 1)There is no demand for the product 2) The FDI has not approved the product 3) MLM - According to BBB. Godiamond go to the BBB site to see what quixtar is. Go to the FTC site to see how many lawsuits quixtar had. Both the FTC and BBB do write quixtar as MLM. If you want to read it, go ahead.

Comparing the military to MLM. Why is the military a product of no value? It never is. Everyone loves the weapons used. Many of the weapons are brought overseas. What about Quixtar? Who buys it overseas. NO ONE!

Show me the facts that you got a lot of money. In fact why not show a notarized bank statement?

Get an education godiamond... You the ignorant who can't even prove one bit from your bank statement wants to lure others to a trap. I know all the facts of Amyway and I know your are hiding out from telling others that you have not even made a single profit and you stil have a job.

By the time you finished reading this message, it was enough to apply for one job. GET A JOB!
