Rowenta - Steam iron

I bought the most expensive model available in my country following very positive comments from people I know. My iron only worked for a period of one month and then it started leaking water. I took it to store I purchased it from to claim the warranty and they told me that they didn´t have that service and that I should take it to the service center...

Rowenta X force flex 15.6 vacuum

The vacuum suddenly stopped working after less than a year. The engine is broken and the brush doesn’t move and doesn’t suck anymore. I’m very disappointed however I send it to the repair center after two weeks it came and still not working! They changed the battery!?!

And now I am going to send it again and wait for two more weeks without a vacuum!

I regret buying from Rowenta and will never recommend it to anyone.

Claimed loss: 2 weeks without vacuum

Desired outcome: I would like a refund for the vacuum original price.

Rowenta Nano vacuum cleaner

I purchased this vacuum cleaner in May 2023 and after 2 uses I decided that I wanted to buy a spare battery. I asked at the store and they ordered one.

6 months later I’m still waiting for the order to turn up.

Why is it taking so long to arrive?

This will probably be the last time I buy any Rowenta product.

Customer service is very bad to say the least.

This is the second time I have complained, is this complaints board ever looked at?

Rowenta Nano vacuum cleaner

I purchased this vacuum cleaner in May 2023 and after 2 uses I decided that I wanted to buy a spare battery. I asked at the store and they ordered one.

6 months later I’m still waiting for the order to turn up.

Why is it taking so long to arrive?

This will probably be the last time I buy any Rowenta product.

Customer service is very bad to say the least.

Rowenta Action be taken against Rick

Please be advised that I called Rowenta Consumer Services 12/13/22 at 10:11 AM ET to inquire about the status of my Accessteam Cordreel iron DW2461 repair and was connected with Rick. Know that Rick was not friendly at all beginning with the first word, "Hello." I provided Rick with my telephone number and address. Rick was very rude, disrespectful, and belittling. He talked to me as if I were hard of hearing, became very loud, and hung up on me after I requested his location as well as to speak with a supervisor.

I am completely appalled by Rick's behavior. While a long-term Rowenta customer, know that we will choose another company moving forward. I highly recommend action be taken against Rick as I am certain more customers will not tolerate such inadequate behavior resulting in a loss of more customers. Rick should not be a part of your Consumer Service Division as he lacks professionalism.

Ironically I called back in and was connected with Shaina at 10:34 AM. I requested to be connected with a Supervisor after providing my Reference Number. Shaina willingly transferred me to Pierre in your Corporate Office located in Millville, NJ. We discussed the situation and I requested that Rick be coached to better handle customer service inquiries. Pierre did not have an email address to your Corporate Office but was able to provide me with a mailing address of Rowenta Consumer Escalation 2199 Eden Road, Millville, New Jersey 08332.

Customers should be able to obtain a status of their repair/replacement before the product is sent back to them including an estimated turnaround time.

It is my hope that this situation is handled accordingly. Note to consumers, AVOID ROWENTA. The product quality has diminished over the years.

Desired outcome: conduct customer service training for employees, better quality Rowenta irons, repair department should communicate with the Consumer Service Division.

Rowenta However

I bought hoover mdele :RH9299WO ASPI BALAI ,at Carrefour labège in toulouse on 04/01/22

Unfortunately your product has not performed well its been send back for the second time to be repaired, I contacted Rowanta on [protected]

The person on the line was very polite

But she keep sending me to repair the product and I couldn't speak with her manager or supervisor

I would appreciate a  refund, store credit, or exchang

Rowenta Severe lack of repair center in Belgium

In early July 2022, I offered myself the X-PLORER SERIE 120 AI RR7875 via the online website of rowenta.be.

It worked well for a couple of days then one of the wheels started to miss behave.

I looked for a repair centre and saw one nearby my home.

once on site, it appeared that it was not a repair centre but a place to deposit my device only.

I got told that my repair would take more than a month since Rowenta Belgium has only one single repair centre for the whole country. And moreover, the repair centre is not dedicated to Rowenta but is subcontracted to many other electronic brands!

How is it that I would have to wait more on repair than on the time I had it for use for a brand new article?

Why is Rowenta not considering more repair centres to support his defect product?

Or consider immediate product change since the product was so new that the use-time does not balance with the repair-wait time?

Desired outcome: I would appreciate a comment from Rowenta, such as a commitment to not leave customers with a brand new product with a bitter taste that their waiting for repair is so long.

Rowenta Iron 1700w rowenta focus

Soon after this iron was purchased. The plastic started chipping off. I call Rowenta, the iron they basically said too bad. I was shocked that they did not stand behind their product. The iron also leaks and leaves brown marks on fabric. I am more shocked that the company does care or back their product. Do you want an iron like this? I went to the Rowenta Website there isn't a form for complaints or comments, I wonder why?

Rowenta Customer service/ product

Contacted rowenta after a rowenta iron caught flames in my home. Was told I would be sent a new iron after investigation of aforementioned iron . Sent iron to designated area, no follow through from any person on staff. Called to inquire, was told the original, person who was answering the phone was no longer employed, gave incorrect information. The iron caught fire…. Received a very unprofessional response from a Pierre? No last name? States that they could not determine cause of fire and offered reduced rate for a new iron…. I do not believe that I wish to o business it's this company.

Desired outcome: At the very least, apology.

Rowenta Turbo silence extreme fan - vu 2631

I use this fan in my bedroom. I currently own 3 identical ones. This fan does not move and is only used on a warm night. I was asleep and awoked by a loud noise that was quit scary. The band holding the 2 spherical cages that enclose the fan blade, split and went flying across the room.

The customer service reps, Kathy and Aramis were of no use! They couldnt care about the potential danger!
The supervisor as well was uninterested and telling me that I could buy a part for $40 when the fan costs $65.
I am prepared to go thru social media and let potential customers know how Rowenta does nothing for their customers when confronted with a dangerous product. I would like a replacement fan at no cost.

Rowenta 8080

Hello

I have tried all avenues via rowenta service contact in multiple countries and I am getting nowhere. I understand group seb owns rowenta so I am coming to you directly to get this sorted by someone. 8 weeks ago I purchased rowenta 8080 iron from amazon. The iron at 6 weeks started giving off a strong electrical shock on the sole plate and stopped heating up.

I went to rowenta website clicked on repairs I contacted group seb in thailand as I live in thailand. The person on the other end of phone has never heard of rowenta I realize it's a tefal office.

I have since contacted customer service is the us, hong kong, germany. Only the us has responded and are saying can't help you go to your local reaper country.

I purchased this iron as the website had local repair in thailand. I always check company's websites before I buy products. This is false advertising and a lie that you have repairs in thailand. Though I can read from the bangkok post that group seb setup in bangkok nearly 4 years ago and rowena and tefal and others are your products.

The iron is new and it is faulty and needs to be replaced. My husband and I are sick of being hand balled and treated with shocking customer service. Rowenta irons are a premium product I bought this iron on its performance reviews and the excellent customer service I was suppose to receive. This iron by the time it was delivered has cost me 230 aud not a cheap iron.

Rowenta poor quality

Purchased this iron less than a year ago hoping for longevity and no leaking experienced in Black & Decker, Hamiltonbeach, Sunbeam & Rival. I have taken proper care of it following recommended guidelines and directions no abuse . It now leaks, the auto shut off will not stay off long enough for the iron to heat past being able to rest your hand on it with no discomfort . This $79.99 Rowenta Focus was no more reliable than a $14.95 Rival or any of the other above mentioned brands that were at a considerable amount less in purchase price .

Rowenta lack of customer service

received rowenta steamer for christmas. missing a part. would not assist me without a receipt. unbelievable lack of service. i am not about to ask my friend for a receipt! how much ruder could one get. i have purchased rowenta products in the past but regardless of how pleased i have been i will never accept, give or use another rowenta product.

I spoke to Rowenta customer service today about my Rowenta Advancer DZ9080. The Iron was used about once a week and just out of warranty. I could not find anyone in the Kansas City are to repair the iron and found out that I had to ship it out state. The estimate for the repair was as much as the iron. I paid $129.00 for the iron! After speaking to "TOM" at Rowenta today, he showed me that there is NO customer service at Rowenta. PLEASE GIVE HIM A CALL AND LET HIM KNOW THAT YOU SAW THIS AND THAT JIM REQUESTED THAT YOU CALL HIM... [protected] BE SURE TO ASK FOR TOM ... PLEASE PASS THIS ALONG TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS!

Rowenta - Steam Iron

I purchased a Rowenta Steam Iron which is not cheap in price and it stopped working. My husband took it apart and found that the cord was burnt off in the Cord Support. This could have caused a fire, I think Rowenta needs to do something about this before they ahve a law suit against them for a home burning down.

Rowenta Failed to operate

I have purchased not 1, not 2, but 3 Rowenta irons since 2002. The first 2 irons that stopped working I blamed on my son who was home from college using it each time. This third iron, a model DX6900 has a short in the power cord that goes into the iron. I can some time wiggle the cord to get the iron to power on. Today, it is completely not working. No more Rowenta irons for me. By the way, each iron I purchased at Target. In addition, I am not pleased that I could not make a complaint directly on the Rowenta website.

I 'm more stupid than most this my 7th attempt with the high end DW7180 purchased April 30 2020 started to use mid May to prepare Linen blouses for summer...
The red light kept going on but the important lower green stopped functioning in early September called both north America toll free numbers and received pandemic excuses
Finally reached someone in New Jersey who will be transferring back to Canada.
My questions were i.e. is there an electronic or grid requirement that should be mentioned on packaging or is there a microchip issue both responses were negative.
If by the end of the day there is no response I will go directly to S.E.B share holders Please come with me.

I purchased a Rowenta steam since I was told they were the best - wrong - however, at first I did like it so well I bought one for a gift another wrong decision. Just after my warranty ran out it started leaking and I have just found out that the one I gave for a gift does the same thing. I like the heaviness of the iron so continue to use it just have to fill it up with water constantly as it leaks out about as fast as I put it in. You can be assured I will never make the mistake of buying another Rowenta and will pass the information along to friends and family to be aware of the defects in this iron. It would be nice if you would answer this complaint but from other comments I see on the website I do not expect to hear from you. You got our money for a worthless item so why bother with us now.

This my 2nd Rowenta Iron and I was told by everyone "they are the best". I just purchased this one from QVC and will return it since its a piece of junk. I thought maybe my 1st one wasn't the top of the line and that is why it spit water at me (hit) and didn't work well but this one is worse. It came to me with a cover but was already scratched, does not iron well, basically junk. I am going with a German iron I heard about.

Rowenta - Rowenta Irons Violate Safety

Rowenta irons violate safety standards. Brenda from Rowenta doesn't know and won't offer email to customer service. Rowenta also has no MSDS safety sheet and does not know what materials were used to make the compact iron. It took over 10 minutes to obtain this useless information because they made me wait on the phone for that long! AVOID ROWENTA IRONS!
