Rituals Cosmetics I did not receive the free body wash as advertised with my order

My name is Renee Davis and I reside at 113 Mayfield Court, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301. I placed and received an order for 2 boxes of body wash (6 bottles) with the expectation that I would receive one free with the order over $50.00 as advertised. I did not receive the free body wash.

I've been a customer for years and love the products, however, I am unhappy that I did not receive the free body wash. Please let me know why that happened and if it can be corrected.

Rituals Cosmetics Scented candle light

I bought online a candle light, got a confirmation and and order number, then went to pick it up in the mall shop triangeln in malmö sweden.

I am complaining about the arrogance from the cashier. She talked to me in an unacceptable way. She said it was my problem because she couldnt see my order. I really was sad and asked what was the problem then she said I had to call customer service. I dont think it is okay. It was today at 12.00. I left and now my order is cancelled.

Rituals Cosmetics Damaged delivery

To whom this may concern,

Dear Ritulas,

I am deeply unsatisfied, more disappointed of your service as this isn’t the first time this happened to me! I placed and order (GL24835967) and yet again I received my package full damaged! I will enclose pictures as well. As these are Christmas presents and there is no time to place an order in time to get them before xmas, it gives me great disappointment with your products! I do not understand how you can allow yourselfs to deliver products scrathed, torn, such a low level standards! UPS delivered the package and box it came had no damage, so I assume it was packed already being damaged! I expect a full refund of my last order as soon as possible.

I cannot express my dissatisfaction towards this Company enough, unacceptable service you provide!

Rituals Cosmetics Non delivery of 2 advent calendars , and non refund of 1 package

I placed an order for 2 advent calendars on the 7/10/22, which cost £149.

They didn’t arrive and after several phone calls, they had got lost before being dispatched.

I was eventually refunded for these.

I had to re order on the 14th October,and was given a small discount. These also didn’t arrive.,

After several more phone calls( some staff are very pleasant and helpful, but others are not I was promised another refund . To date (17th November), I haven’t been refunded.

I ordered yet again for the third time ( I was given another discount code, which didn’t work , and after yet another phone call, I was given an online gift card).

The third parcel eventually arrived.

I have rung yet again (17th November), and I have been promised the refund within 10 days. I am now paying interest on the amount .

Desired outcome: I would like any issues with orders/ delivery and refunds to be seen to more quickly. It would have been nice to have been offered a gift card for the future , as gratitude for my misfortune

Rituals Cosmetics Ritual candle

Rituals products for me have always been of high quality. Purchased by me personally and as gifts for family and friends.

This Christmas I treated myself to a candle, Ritual of Jing. The fragrance is wonderful. Yesterday evening, luckily awake I heard an enormous cracking noise. The candle glass cracked and I had to immediately blow out the burning wick. If I had been asleep this could have caused a fire, Candles from Primark have never done this, I now worry and will now be very cautious about paying such a large amount for a Ritual candle.

Desired outcome: I would request a refund of the 17€ paid

Rituals Cosmetics Service / customer service / delivery

Good morning!
I've place an order with your company on 26th April an spent with you £100! My parcel supposed to be delivered before or on 1st May. I've received an email that it's on the way with Hermes on 2nd May.
Since that there is only a message when I'm trying to track it that it's delayed and will be in move with next 24h. Yep... in's ‘in move' already for 2 weeks !
I tried to call your customer service many times - no answer, using whatsapp number- no answer, emails- no answer! I even wrote on your instagram page asking about refund and only once lady wrote me back that someone will contact with me - that was 2 weeks ago!
This is how you treat your customers! I was your regular customer in Kingston shop! Now I'm sooo disappointed!
Demand my refund. If you cannot provide a good service then you need to inform your customers about problem or just close online shop!

I am in the same boat. Their online offering needs a complete overhaul. Customer service not helpful at all. They need to do something before they loose their customers.

Rituals Cosmetics Miracle lightweight foundation

I love my Rituals light weight foundation in Golden Beige and to horror pump mechanism of the bottle stoped working half way the bottle. As I live in Finland where Riruals cosnetics aren't available, purchasing a new bottle isn't an option before next travel to a country with a Rituals shop.

Can I swao the broken bottle for a new one?
Also, please consider a Rituals shop in Helsinki, Finland or on the ferries travellig between Finland, Sweden and Estonia as the non-make up products are already available.

Rituals Cosmetics Employees of rituals in utrecht at train station

Last Wednesday, on Feb.5th I was at the Utrecht train station and decided to step into the Rituals store to buy a gift for a friend. I found a product I was interested in and asked one of the staff how much the item cost because there was a price label only for one item but there were three other items on the table. Her exact reply was 'If you can read, you will see that this is the price for it.' I was very disappointed with her attitude and her response and couldn't believe that she had just replied in that manner and tone. I told her that her response was an inappropriate response in any situation and so much the worse to say to a potential customer in the store. The conversation only got worse when she said, 'You don't have to ask me that question. If you can read and I know you can. I asked to speak the manager and, to my dismay, she informed that she was the manager. I also asked her name, but she refused to give me hers. I'm writing this because I do know that, even in this day and age, there are people who are not able to read and write and that such a response from a staff who has been made a manager of the store is really beyond belief. My reason for posting this online is to hopefully inform the real management team at Rituals to be more aware of the message their employees are providing and to more carefully consider managers they have promoted or hired. In my opinion, that particular rude manager is not suited to first of all be in a customer service industry let alone manage other employees and new trainees with her condescending attitude to customers. Needless to say, I voted with my feet. I left the store without purchasing anything from Rituals.

Rituals Cosmetics Service

I would like to make an official complaint about the service in your Leuven shop.

On the 18th of December I went into your shop in Leuven to purchase some Christmas gifts. It was busy, they opened an extra payment station where payment was only done by bank card.
I was the first person to be served, I mentioned to the lady serving me that my purcheses were all gifts, which meant they required to be wrapped. Everything was packed in a bag including gift envelopes so I coudl pack the gifts my self.
This did not bother me, despite having seen the customers before me have their gifts wrapped.

On the 24th of December, I took my niece shopping as she wanted to purchase a gift for her father. I took her to your shop as we are big fans of your products. I waited outside at the door as I had a baby in a pram and your shop is on the small side.
When my niece walked out of the shop I noticed her gift was not wrapped. She said she asked the assistant to wrap it for her but was told that they would not do that as the packaging was sufficient enough. This was the regular packaging your products come in. It was very disappointing as there was a queue of other people getting their gifts wrapped despite their age or gift.
I advised her to take the purchase back and get a refund, instead of refunding her money, they gave her a shop voucher.
As she stood in the queue to return the gift, I could see other customers getting their gifts wrapped, I was baffled.

I could not understand why we were not given the same service that every other customer was getting, the only conclusion I can come up with is that the service you receive depends on the colour of your skin which is very disheartening and shocking in this day and age.
If there is any other reason or explanation as to why your service is not the same for all your customers, please by all means let me know and I would also like to know what you are going to do about this.

I hope you take this complaint very seriously and come back to me as soon as possible.

Rituals Cosmetics Gift

I shopped at the store located at Calle Toro. When paying they said that if I made a subscription I would receive a free gift on my birthday. I said that my birthday was on the next day and they said that if I came back the next day they would give me the gift. The next day I came to the store to receive my gift, but they said that it was not available. I was very disappointed for coming on my birthday day to the store for nothing.

Rituals Cosmetics Himalaya scrub

I purchased the above product as part of a birthday gift for a friend. When it was opened to use the pot was half empty. It was very disappointing to say the least particularly as it was a gift. I have been using your products for some years now and have been gifting your products to family and friends too. I would be grateful for your feedback on this matter.

Rituals Cosmetics Receiving my order

Two weeks ago I ordered 6 items if you spent over £45 you received a free beach bag. A couple of days later a delivery came and only the beach bag was in the parcel none of the items I had ordered. I rang customer services who said they would re send my order as they were having problems with the warehouse. A couple of days later nothing had arrived so I rang again to find they hadn't resent them. So again they promised they would send them again. Parcel arrives a few days later and only two items of the six came so once again I'm on the phone. Today a parcel arrives and another two arrive so on the phone again to Lucia at customer services. I not a very happy customer as I still haven't received my full order I'm still missing two items.

Rituals Cosmetics Customer service item received damaged

Hi i ordered items in UK online order number UK00189769 - the items arrived damaged - one of the items was a home parfum and it was all spilt in the box on other items too. This was on 10 May. I phoned your customer service and was informed it would be immediately resent. This was confirmed by you on 11 May - it is now 17 May - item still not received. I have emailed and phoned and my last conversation with someone at customer services called "Jim" - he told me he cant make the parcel fly and i can't have a refund and have to wait for the parcel - even if it goes beyond waiting for 2 weeks!
I will not be ordering from Rituals again due to this experience and would at least like a refund of the item i have still not received!

Rituals Cosmetics Store manager behaviour

Hi

TO whom it may concern

I went into your boutique on St Christopher, s Street on Gee street London W1 on the 12th April to purchase some items
I paid for my products then after i realise there was a promotion of a free gift with purchase i request i would like the gift the cashier went over to the manager who i think is Diego came over said no to me next didn't have the app or something so i said i download the app and refund the item back and i re buy was very abruptly with me.

request okay i would like my refund back haven't left the store in the end i got the refund back into cash and not card as how i have original paid way i was spoke was shocking i work in retail i would never speak to a paying client in that matter.
He said i must get out his shop go go upon which the other work was laughing.

was felt i was treated fairly went back with my work colleague as she want to buy some stuff also as soon enter the store he started to shout and scream said he going to call the police which i said go ahead.

he ran out the store with customer still inside saying security many time and call the police said i was assaulting him i felt embarrassed, ashamed and humiliated that a store manager should behave in this manager to a paying client.
i am a loyal brand customer.

Mall security came had a words with us store manager was very rude i was even called a savage which is acceptable as a Black Caribbean lady he was sticking his tongue out at me and mimic me this lady was a new person in still i would like this matter to be look into very urgently this is vey serious.

Rituals Cosmetics Rituals luxury amber candle

Bought the luxury Amber candle for £47.50, amongst other orders for Christmas totalling approximately £300. I love candles, they are my thing, so I always do the first burn for a long time - 4 hours is recommended on the product description on the Rituals website - I did it for longer than this. No smell, Tunnels of burn, so the candle will not last. Phoned Rituals customer service and was told by Reneld that I had to take it to my nearest Rituals store (124 miles away from where I live, and I bought on-line too) for them to smell it and take a look. I asked if I could send it to them and was told NO, I could not. I told Reneld that this would stop me from ordering from them again, he was aggressive and told me not to threaten him. Not the customer service you would hope for!

Rituals Cosmetics Samurai magic shave

I bought this product for the second time as my husband was really satisfied with it but it has nothing to do with the first product. The shaving cream is so thick that my husband couldn't use it at all! It clogs his shaver and doesn't do the job!
I am quite disappointed as it is an expensive product and I would expect a better quality.

I am therefore requesting a partial refund or a store credit.

Rituals Cosmetics Hand balm

I purchased the hand balm pump today at Berlin Airport.
Tonight I opened it and the pump does not work at all.

I am very disappointed. I have to try and squeeze the cream (which is extremely difficult) into an old face cream pot.

Not What I would expect from a top brand.
Please advise as soon as possible if another cream can be sent.

Rituals Cosmetics Packaging

Hi, I've been buying your products in store for a while and recently signed up to your newsletter for a free showergel. Amazing idea, and thank for you the prompt delivery. However, I have to say the packaging seemed a litttle excessive - I try to be environmentally conscious when I can, and choose brands accordingly, and I fear the multiple inflatable plastic bags and bubble wrap inside the huge cardboard box will just end up in landfill or out at sea. It may seem petty to some but this matters to me, and I hope you can contribute to protecting the world we all live in. Many thanks in advance!

Rituals Cosmetics Car perfume

Hello, I bought the car perfume from rituals a few weeks ago. I sent a complaint to them a few days after I bought it but got no reply. From when I opened it to even now, a good 2 or 3 weeks ago, it has absolutely no odour and you cannot smell it at all! When I get in my car it just smells like I did before. It's very disappointing as I spent £15 on this product and feel that it's a waste of money and also has made me really apprehensive to try any new products in rituals in the future.

Rituals Cosmetics Order uk-[protected]

Placed order uk-[protected] with rituals in december.

Order once received was not fulfilled in full with half the order missing. However, rituals debited the full order amount from my bank account.

I contacted customer service to advise about the problem. 4 days later issue has not been resolved and they are now ignoring follow up emails to enquire about status

In summary, products not received, out of pocket and rituals have failed to resolve.
