Rite Aid not honoring prices as marked under product

Transaction #2322472 on 11/5/19 at 1:23pm
I was at rite Aide making a purchase of Mucinex product. I noticed the price rang up at the register at a significantly higher price, marked as 18.99 purchase 2 and get one free. After entering rewards information the price did not drop to advertised price. A second employee reviewed the display. She stated the error was made by the person stalking and could only honor selling one product at the price. I also pointed out that the aisle states the product is 39.99 on the product that was in a different section when the register rang this product at 41.99 which is still marked at a higher price. I asked to speak with manager who offered the same after reviewing the aisle. He refused to honor the deal again. I purchased one product allowed by them at 18.99.

Rite Aid pharmacy

I had dropped off a prescription over a week in advance because I knew my insurance was going to be terminated due to my husband having some health issues and can no longer work, I had stopped in there to pick the script up today 4/3/2019 and was told for some reason it was put on hold when I had asked why I was told I don't know but you will now have to pay 39.98 right now I am financially limited I am now out of medication until I can sign up and get issued insurance I tried to make sure I had all my meds filled until the new insurance kicked in, I am very upset due to the fact my script should never had been on hold from the time it was dropped off with no valid reason. I do understand things happen as I work in healthcare I have overlooked many mistakes that have been made this is not the first but this I am very upset about this. I am also not happy that money is just automatically taken off my card every time I check out for kidcents I do donate to various organizations and have no problem with being asked, but on three different occasions now I have noticed it just deducted. I thank you for your time and will be awaiting your response. Denise smith

Rite Aid pharmacist, broke hipaa law and was very unprofessional

I called an spoke to Darcy about my oxycodone refill, because, I got a voice mail saying to soon to fill. My wrote it for the 1st of Nov. It said it will be filled on the 4th of Nov. I called talked to Darcy, I was telling her that it can be filled 2 days before the due date witch is the 5th so it should go thru. on the 3rd. My name was said at least 4 times. someone I know called me, an said they heard the pharmacist yell over everyone. so did I.. His name is Samuel Kubas, I was trying to tell her that there were 31 days in oct. so 5th makes 30 day's rite aids policy is 2 days before makes the 3rd. He yelled from the back ground, an said I don't care what she say's its not getting filled until the 4th Im the Manager an that's that. Well #1 I have a business down the rd. people heard him my name was said, I said to Darcy, what did he say she said I don't know, I said well I do I heard him. Then I got a call from my nephew who was in there. He has me so upset, I have so many health issues, im a Doctor at least 4 to 5 times a month not counting testing an needles, biopsy. I do-Not need this treatment. I have been with rite aid for years an so are 6 members of my family. I have never had a problem till now. That Med Fast closed and gave them all there clients. Well they can't handle all the people they even say it, how crazy it is. phones are never answerd an left on hold for a 1/2 hr. I will say this you have two of the most caring people working there an all agree, Darcy is one the other is a Pharmacist, Mark Stryczek. I have never ever had one issue with these two. Medicine on time, makes sure all my meds. are ok to take with all other ones im on. Now with these new ones coming in. It's awful. The wait is unheard of. Funny though how Mark Stryczek can still handle all this. If nothing is done with this Samuel Kubas, im taking all my prescriptions out including my 6 family members. I do not know how he's a pharmacist, let alone a manager, he can't count. As I said they were filled 10/07/19 31 days in Oct. makes Nov.5th 30 day's. two day's before is th 3rd. Not worried about the day, just upset with his unprofessionalism, an making it inconvenient for me. Thank You! Sharon L. Tutino I also called this in. [protected]@aol.com

Rite Aid service

On Thursday at about 9:25 I enter Rite Aid at 6300 York Rd. I was greeted by the employees but after a few minutes I noticed that every time looked up from trying to purchase band aids, the security guard or employee was in my face. I started thinking are they following me and sure enough they where. The security guard would walk pass and then a few seconds later an employee would pass and they just kept speaking to me and if that's why I was in the store. They stalked me! I was treated like a criminal. Which made my shopping experience horrible. As this treatment I was unable to purchase my items. The employees are very unprofessional. Therefor Rite Aid doesn't get my business or a positive word of mouth review.

Rite Aid autistic son harassed by store employee

Me and my family will not be coming back to this location. We came here today and the "security" guy harassed our 16 year old autistic son. He had a water bottle in his nap sack that he took out to take a drink and the security guy accused him of stealing! What the heck? First of all how dare you speak to our son in that way. Did you find anything on him that you say he stole? Nope. No apology either. No explanation. Even when I asked you what the issue was you would not explain your reasons why you questioned my son and told him to open his bag. All you said was he put something in his bag. Did you find anything while you searched him? Even after you found nothing you did not even give him an explanation of why you made a scene and searched him. You could have explained why. Instead of just staring down at him and making him feel so ashamed and embarrassed. What if he ran because he didn't understand and thought you were trying to take his knapsack? You never introduced yourself, especially as a store employee. If he would have ran, then what? You would tackled him! Then what? All because you didn't say what you were doing or why you were doing it! I understand people steal but when you are wrong you should apologize. Learn to communicate. We are not coming back. Your not getting our business anymore. And I will gladly let everyone know how you treated a customer. You did not need to make my son feel like he had did something wrong. Learn customer service. I hope your corporate reads this. I would love to speak with them. If they don't, shame on them too. I think you owe our son an apology letter explaining how sorry you are this happened to him, and that he did nothing wrong

Last time I checked, General meant "affecting or concerning all or most people, places, or things; widespread." So even if Rita Aid doesn't read this, I want everyone to know how they treated my son. You must be so unhappy with your life to be name calling someone that is advocating for their child. STFU

Regardless of being autistic or not, you are all missing the point. Security can't just accuse someone of theft without proof. Asfor Jennnnnj I would contact them directly as this is not a Rite Aid website but a website for various complaints and have them take action to prevent him from doing this again. If they don't contact a lawyer to make sure that they do take action from security. Even if your son did steal something they are not allowed to stop him until after he leaves the store. Him being a minor they are not even allowed to search his bag without your permission.

Rite Aid cashier/management/store 4554

I have been a customer for well over 10 years and have made numerous purchases and prescriptions . Today I went to the store to buy some groceries and Halloween treats for my grandkids. I have an EBT card which I have been using for years at use at various locations and supermarkets. My EBT card does not swipe and I usually enter my number manually, however, today I was told "we do not do that here" by the cashier. I insisted that I have used this as a payment at this store before as I live across the street. She then asked another cashier and she said no. The cashier then proceeded to ask the manager -Ashley and she said no. I told all of them that I come here almost everyday and NEVER had a problem before. The cashier(s) looked at me like I was lying to them and being very vocal about me using a EBT card. I was humiliated in front of a line of customers. The manager Ashley never introduced herself as a manager and never asked if I had another source of payment additionally saying in a smug voice as I left the store "Have a nice day" . I worked for Rite Aid many years ago and that is not what I call customer service. It seems like there is all new personal at this location and they need a lesson on customer service as well as facing items and cleaning the store/floor. I would like for my concerns to be addressed and I would like an apology from Rite Aid for being rejected of a sale and being humiliated by the employees. Furthermore I suggest the district manager visit the store more often and have the store cleaned as well as placing the sale stickers on items. They do not place the stickers on sale items. I look forward to hearing from you and seeing how the corporation will handle my complaint. my email address is [protected]@yahoo.com - My Rite Aid rewards card is in the name of Stephanie Crabill. You can look up my card to see all the times I make purchases. I am not a liar

Rite Aid rite aid pharmacy first aid gauze pads

I had a surgery that required me to use gauze pads for drainage. I purchased several boxes of your company's products. After the first couple of gauze pads I used I experienced extreme irritation to the area, upon inspection of the pads I noticed there is an insert of what appears to be tissue paper inside the folded gauze squares. Since I stopped using them I have finally started to heal properly. Why is this paper product inserted in these gauze pads? And why isn't it labeled on the box that there is more than just the gauze inside?

Rite Aid pharmacy

There were two pharmacists when I went to get my medication this morning... I was on my way to have surgery... visibly unwell and anxious. I did not get the names but one of the males was probably in his early 30s with tattoos and the other woman that was filling meds, I guess was an intern. (based on what the main pharmacist told me when I called this evening after my surgery.) Rude, Condescending, horrible communication. I will never ever return to that store again for medications. I called the pharmacy to ask for The names of the two pharmacists that were working this morning, but she refused UNTIL I gave her my name. I wouldn't be surprised if that whole store shut down it is poorly managed and the pharmacist and employees in the pharmacy are usually all very rude, no smile's always seemingly behind...
I'm done with Rite Aid after today! I'd rather drive 15 minutes more to get my prescriptions filled anywhere else.

Rite Aid salesperson's terrible attitude

After I experienced Adiran Howard's terrible attitude SO MANY TIMES, I have no choice but to submit the complaint now.
Every time I hope I don't have to go to his cashier when I check out, but I don't have that luck most of the time. So I must suffer from his rude attitude to rush me to give him the Wellness Reward Card, to rush me to insert my credit card, to give me bad looks and complain at me with bad words, etc, etc...
Yesterday I tried to use a coupon that I received at the bottom of my RiteAid receipt last time, so I handed it to him. Then he looked at it and said impolitely, "it's just $1 off" and handed back to me. Then I replied that I want to apply the coupon on my purchase. He then said it's not scannable so he can't use it. Then I insist to see his supervior who later scanned it for me. At last, I asked his name and he said he didn't worry about being reported, because I am the customer who cares about only $1 coupon and RiteAid will not pay attention to my complain.
Well, I hope his saying is not right, and RiteAid should treat all customers equally whether they are spending $10 in one transaction or $100 in one transaction. I hope this man will receive more training to deal with customers who may be afraid to come back to the store because of him.

Rite Aid assistant technician

I found the technician Carla working in the pharmacy to be extremely rude and always talking negative about customers. I would hope there is a store policy to protect customers from being talked about by staff members but clearly it's not being followed at the Caldwell, Idaho store by Carla in particular. This pharmacy is the closest for me to pick up prescriptions otherwise I'd go somewhere else. Being a survivor of narcissistic sociopath abuse I hate hearing people talk negative about others as that's one of the many bad things my abusers would do to make themselves feel like a better person. This horrifically bad behavior of talking negative about customers/others that Carla does is a trigger for me. I hope someone points this fact out to her.

Rite Aid pharmacy

Besides a few of the employees just having the worst attitude possible, one of them is nicknamed by many customers as [censored]ie lady; her attitude is just so bad, never smiles never says anything nice.

But that's not my main complaint today.
Doctor sends a prescription two days later it is still not filled.
Go in the morning and they say 2 hours, go back 6 hours later they say another hour or they're working on it. I have now been out of pain pills for 3 days.

It just doesn't seem to get filled. I have waited 6 days sometimes. A manager or somebody at corporate needs to go to that rite aid pull the prescriptions check the date they were called in and the date they were filled and see how long the lag is.

They're blaming the for 5-day power outage however they was slow before somebody needs to hire more employees for that pharmacy or get that store working properly.

one last item you don't get an update on your phone of your prescriptions there's no message sent to you saying it's ready because it's never ready.

Update on yesterday's complaint. I called the pharmacy today to see if my prescription was ready as promised. The person on the phone ..a tech I'm sure...said I have to check with the pharmacist. She came back said it was not ready and they were out and would not have the medication until tomorrow. I said I don't believe you and I will be coming to pick my original prescription up. I did that but before I left I told them their stories to me about why they aren't filling my prescription was bull crap and ask if they had done anything to my original that would cause a different pharmacy not to fill it..they said no. I took it to CVS Pharmacy. They ask me all the usual questions and had it filled within the hour. I must add that I was so upset with rite aid i couldnt even think straight . I dont feel i should just drop this. I dont know what steps I should take now . I feel something very wrong is going on there. I did make a call to my Dr and told him what was happening .

I really dont know where to start with this . I guess I'll start with my age . I'm 68 years old. A few years ago I was in a terrible accident . I had so many injuries and surgeries to try a repair my body I can't even list them . Finally I said no more surgeries I can't do it anymore . My Dr of 30 yrs agreed with me. he said it is now about your quality of life, so he prescribed me hydrocodone. With all the stuff that is going on with people over dosing and the addiction problems some pharmacist put every patient in that category. I use Rite Aid pharmacy in Bakersfield Ca. And Rite Aid in Grover Beach Ca . Because I live in both places . First they accused me of pharmacy shopping in front of other customers ...that was the beginning of my nightmare to get my pain medication once a month . I have been lied to by the pharmacist so many times. I have gone days with out my medication with no explanation. 4 months in a row I went to get it filled and she would look at my prescription and just say no so I would have to drive to the rite aid in Grover Beach which is 2 hrs away so they wouldn't accuse me of pharmacy shopping...I get it filled once a month and they always make me wait up to 5 days . That's 5 days with no pain medication that I have been taking for a long time. So my next month comes around and I take it to the pharmacy and they say it's to early to fill . I say no I go to my dr once a month and because you don't fill it on time doesnt make me early it make you late and me short on medication . There is so much more going on with this pharmacy and pharmacist. I turned my prescription in on the 17th and it still isn't ready they said they were out which I know is not the truth. They say that to me every month now. Once I turned my prescription in and was ask my birthday, they wrote it on my prescription then took it over to the pharmacist she didn't even look up..said she wouldnt fill it because my dr had forgotten to write the days date on it ...I had to drive 15 miles one way back to my dr to get him to write the days date on it. They would not call him ...took it back to the pharmacy...pharmacist looked at it said no she couldn't fill it because someone had written my birthday on the top of it ...I said your tech did when I brought it in before you made me drive 30 miles for a date, using the pink pen she has in her hand right now . So somebody please tell me if this is harassment...if not what is it ? There's much more and I'm not sure what to do about it .

Rite Aid cashier and pricing not honored as listed on the shelf

I picked up 2 cans of deodorant and a stick all by Dove. They all had 50% off signs under them. When I took them to the cashier she said, "No, they are not on sale." I walked to the aisle and showed her and she said they were in the wrong place and that was absolutely not true. I am furious that I walked to that store because of the advertised price of the deodorant and the nasty cashier would not give us the sale price.

Rite Aid pharmacy

I've had several issues with this pharmacy. I was told a prescription I needed was out of stock for several weeks. I kept calling to see if it was available and was eventually told the prescription had been discontinued by the manufacturer. However, I was able to transfer it to Walgreens and pick up that same prescription that was supposedly discontinued and I've gotten several referrals so in no way was it discontinued. Also this rite aid charges me for prescriptions that walgreens tells me is fully covered by my insurance. I had stopped using Rite Aid due to falsely charging me and lying about available prescriptions but in January I was forced to go to Rite Aid to get an EpiPen because Walgreens was out of stock. I received the EpiPen on 1/16/19. I provided that EpiPen to my son's daycare. Licensing was out at the daycare and stated the EpiPen was expired. Upon looking at the prescription it expired 1/31/19. So I paid a significant amount of money for an EpiPen that expired 2 weeks after I got it. Its ridiculous that a life saving device was provided to me that expired in 2 weeks! I have a toddler with extreme allergies. Thankfully I've been diligent in avoiding his allergens. Now I need a current EpiPen in order for my son to go to daycare. I shouldn't have to pay for an expired product that rite aid knowingly gave me.

Rite Aid payment not received and unethical behavior

To whom it may concern,

I have a very serious complaint about one of the employees who works during the night shift at rite aid. In the month of August (I don't remember the exact date), I had purchased two items that were on sale for $4.50 in total (two cans of coors light beers) during the midnight hours. I approach the checkout area, I gave 5 dollars to the clerk, and the clerk working there did not give me my change. To make matters worse, he insisted that I did not need the change. Unfortunately, I do not know his name, and the only description I have of him is that he is a well dressed tall man. He has done this several times in the past with myself, and only myself, and I feel as if he is judging me by the way I look, and my nationality.

Rite Aid halloween blow up decorations

I am a great customer of Rite Aid and I buy all my decorations from you for ever holiday and I am highly upset that after buying 6 blow up decorations from within this past year only two works still. I spent good money on each one. I have a pumpkin, turkey, ghost, witch holding her head up, snowman, and Santa only 2 works the motor that starts the fan no longer comes on. Those kinds of decorations are not for a one time use. I know you didn't make them yourselves but why are you selling junk?

Rite Aid pharmacy

The service over the past year has gotten awful. The pharmacy is under staffed regularly. People have to wait an hour or more in line to even see if there prescriptions are ready. Many pharmacy staff members are so stressed they are not helpful or friendly. Not to mention you will receive a text saying your prescriptions are ready for refill but once you stand in the line for an hour you find out they are not.

There also seems to be a shortage on stock regularly I have to wait over a week just for common antibiotics, and my regular pills are on order all the time leaving me without. My husband and father have the same problem and they are on heart, diabetes and blood thinners.

Rite Aid pharmacy

Approximately one week ago I attempted to get a flu shot prior to an upcoming surgery. I am 72 years old. I filled out the paperwork and an employee named michelle attempted to get approval from medicare. (I was not involved with the computer process.) she came out to the waiting area many times to ask me questions. She stated that my birth date did not comport with whatever her computer was telling her. After a period of time, I just told her to forget about any further attempts and I left the store. My complaint is not with what michelle was trying to do. She tried numerous times. I was concerned enough that yesterday I went to my local social security administration office to make sure that the information was correct. I was at the social security office for an extended period of time. The information was correct; my birth date was correct. The ssa employee suggested that I go back to rite aid and alert them that there is possibly a "glitch" in their system.
I went to my rite aid directly after leaving ssa and tried to alert michelle so that she could, at the very least, alert the proper personnel. I asked another pharmacy employee if I could speak with michelle. They told me to go to the other side to speak with her. She was working on her computer. She did not stop what she was doing and only looked up twice while I was just trying to tell her that ssa asked me to alert them of a possible problem. I have never made a complaint to any company but her insensitivity to the information I was trying to impart was completely unnecessary and rude. The mere fact that she could not give me two minutes of her undivided attention was uncalled for. I firmly believe she never told anyone of authority about this possible glitch in your system. I am not trying to cause michelle any problems, other than possibly a reminder of what customer service really means.
I appreciate your time in reading this and I hope you will at least check into it like ssa suggested.
