Rite Aid Prescription for disable person in community

I'm a disabled person receiving medication from Compton pharmacy locations Rosecrans and central. Recently this location has not been able to fill my prescription after over 10years of service, causing this disabled person to be in unnecessary pain unexpectedly without medication. Dr cannot change medication after this amount of time, because of possible side effects which would hender my independence living.

Desired outcome: Medication be made available at Compton CA store on Rosecrans and central. Terence Daniels [protected]

Rite Aid Pharmacy

Nothing but blatant lies. When dropping off an rx, I double check that they have the medication on hand to be filled. I am told yes, as I see her check the computer, and am told it will be ready at 1:30pm. I also ask about when the drive thru window will be functional being that it has been down for several weeks now and am told “we just checked on the repair guy and they won’t be able to fix it for a couple weeks”. I arrive at 3pm and notice the drive thru window is open and functioning. A couple weeks turned into a couple hours? When I pickup the rxs, I am told they have no medications and they would have to order them. The pharmacist then proceeds to blame the technician for an error, when I know for a fact the technician had checked before I left when I dropped them off. Then I’m told a voicemail was left, which was 100% not. Lies on top of lies. Absolutely shameful

Desired outcome: Be honest and don’t waste customer’s time. If I did these things at work I’d be fired

122 McGregor Street Manchester, NH 03102 Pharmacy has a revolving door with their help. I have been going there for just about 5 years, and the "girls" that work in the Pharmacy are rude, and have zero customer relation skills! Today 11/11/2022 @ 2:30pm, I drove up to the window. Two young girls, look at me and turn away. Instead of holding up their index...

Rite Aid Better customer service where customers are valued, not looked at like an inconvenience.

My family and I have been customers for many years but are looking to use another company due to very poor customer service and bad attitude of the pharmacy employees. In the last month things have gotten worse! The pharmacist even talks down to you if you ask questions or have a complaint. Four weeks ago I called to see if my prescription was ready. The phone was answered "pharmacy hold on" there was no "please" or "thank you" or "can you hold". I was on hold for 25 minutes when I finally hung up and dialed again. It was a repeat of the previous call and another 25 minute hold. After a few more tries I was able to tell the person answering not to put me on hold again but was told they were busy. My daughter ended up driving there for me and was told they would try to fill the prescription the next day. The same week my granddaughter had a prescription faxed in for her 3 month old baby, it took hours to get it filled and when she finally got home with the antibiotic it had never been mixed.

Yesterday I went to drop of 3 prescriptions for my young grandson. There was 4 cars in the first lane so I went to the second lane. There is light to indicate if the lanes are open. After sitting there for several minutes the young man working the window acted very childish has he grinned and waved his hand in a circle over his head,, which I figured out he meant for me to drive around and use the first lane. At 4:00pm I finally gave him the 3 prescriptions and aske if I could pick them up by 8:00. His unprofessional answer was "that is not going to happen" I then asked what time I could get then and he said "not today". I told him I really needed then and he said "well take them to another Rite Aid" so I left. My daughter took them back up there and was told they would fill the antibiotic before they closed so she could get it. They never filled it. My grandson got sicker during the night! It is now 10:18am and I have now been calling for 45 minutes it see if it is ready and no one is answering the phone. This is unacceptable customer service for an business and even worse for a pharmacy. There are many complaints on social media about this location with most saying not to go there.

Same rudeness at the one in Manchester, NH on McGregor Street. Treat you, like you're inconveniencing them! No "Hello" NO "Thank you", NO "Have a good Day", they are super rude, and need to be taught their in the Customer Service Field! The Manager Doug, told me that they are stressed, and are LEARNING how to say hello and thank you! Are you kidding me!? It's common sense, which kids LACK in this World today!

I was a loyal customer for years (Company changed from Thrifty's to Rite Aid). Rite Aid changed their operating rules and stopped ordering outside their Formulary listed medication brands. I wear a certain brand pain patch that I have worn for 15+ years for chronic pain. I have had several other brands filled & the material the patch is made from does not...

Rite Aid Pharmacy

The pharmacy at Rite Aid on Greenfield Road in Oak Park, Michigan really SUCKS! It's difficult to get your meds. Two weeks, I've been trying to get my inhaler. Finally, the pharmacist says you have refills on this so I will get it ready. REALLY? I should have left when my husband left about a year ago. I remained because they have a drive through and I am handicapped. But I have had it with this store!

Rite Aid Pharmacy employees

First, I was told that my prescription was not ready because they ran out of my medicine and had to reorder more, and it should be there in a couple days. Now this is just my opinion but if you are getting low on a particular medicine then would you not reorder more so you don't run out and you can fill other's prescriptions to make the company you work for more money? Just saying. Anyway, I go back to the store at the time and day they say that it will be ready and surprise it is not. The employee helping me says that it didn't come in and that they can give me what they have and then I can come back and pick up the rest of my prescription tomorrow. Now hold on just a second when I first asked for my medicine, they told me that they were all out and I had to wait a couple days till they got more. Now this employee is telling me that they have a little over half of my medicine that I can have now, and I can get the rest tomorrow. So, I ask why I was not told about this when I first came to get my medicine a few days ago. The employee just looks at me and say's I can't answer that. Annoyed but fair enough so I tell the employee that I would like to do that. The employee tells me to come back in two hours at 7:00 and it should be ready. I say two hours and he said yes sir we are really busy, and we are still doing shots also. So, I agree and tell him I will return at 7:00 for my prescription. When I return at 7:05 the pharmacy is closed, and the security shudders are pulled down, but I can still see the people working in the pharmacy. I say excuse me and one of the employees look up and say "yes"

So, I start by saying "I was told to come and pick up my medicine at 7:00 but you guys are already closed. Why would I be told to come back when you are closed". The lady says "we were open till a couple minutes after 7:00" with which I respond "ok I gave you guys a couple extra minutes because you were so busy. I did not know you close at 7:00 otherwise I would have been here sooner so I would not miss my medicine. The lady says," well there is nothing I can do for you I don' have any drawers to even sell you anything ". I respond by saying" This is totally unbelievable"and shake my head in disgust and start to walk away. The lady says,"have a goodnight"in a very sarcastic tone and I was about an inch away of snapping but just gritted my teeth and responded,"you have a pleasant evening also". Then walked away. The point to this is you shouldn't treat customers like this when we are the reason you have a job. Without our money you don't have a company to work for. Also, what if this medicine was very important and I needed it for the evening. The work ethic of people today is very much lacking in a lot of areas.

Rite Aid Customer service

On 10/27/22 I went to rite aid store #11273 at. 1600. I was instructed to have my doctor’s office call to authorize an early refill. I contacted doctors office and they called the pharmacy multiple times with no one answering the phone. I went to the pharmacy at 1700 and they said they were too busy to answer the phone. My doctors office called again at 1736 and again they did not answer, I asked the pharmacist to call my doctor tomorrow which I am sure will not happen. I am going on travel for three weeks and am unsure if I can get my refills. I thing this is VERY unprofessional and may have to find a more reliable pharmacy. I found out today Gale the manager no longer works at this Rite Aid so this may be the problem with TIS store. I can be contacted at [protected] Jeff Rohrer

Desired outcome: I would like to have my medications refilled before I go on travel for work.

Rite Aid Check out employee

Work employees behind the check out counter even though it was 11:00PM and they had another hour to work. As I walked in the first thing I heard the young man talking to a woman employee but he was ranting out loud and threw some curse words in there. As I was walking around shopping you could hear him. As I was checking out he was still ranting loud enough which was not very professional..Maybe it was close to closing and only a few people were shopping it sounded like being on a street corner. He was a very young man with long hair which i have seen before. So as he was pacing back and forth he was not working and the other young man working waited on me. Talk about being courteous and pleasant this man acted like an example of what a rite aid employee should be like. so ranter was pacing, loud, threw a few curse words in there as he was talking to a woman employee who had her coat and i assumed was done working. why was this employee even there. It should have taken outside after work. Thank goodness it was emptier than during the day and there was no children were there. In fact that was the first thing i thought of. Thank you for listening and sorry for not knowing how to be shorter.

Rite Aid Riteaid Pharmacy 1700 Pine hollow road McKees Rocks Pa. 15136

I got a robocall the other day saying my prescriptions were ready. I didn't call anything in for a refill. I called the store and selected the 3 rd option to talk to someone in the pharmacy to see what prescriptions I had there that were ready. For 2 days I've been calling several times a day and no one is answering the phone from the pharmacy. It just rings and keeps going back to the taped options. This store recently took over for the Mckees Rocks store that was closed. Since they switched over stores it's been a disaster trying to get things done.

Desired outcome: Have them answer the phone.

Rite Aid Understaffed and lack of answering phone have caused problems getting my medications!

I switched to Rite Aid from Walgreens in April 2022 because it is a preferred pharmacy on my insurance. I have had nothing but problems since I made the switch. Most issues are due to lack of staffing in the pharmacy. I realize there are problems with staffing in many industries but this has caused serious problems.

1. I see several doctors. ALL of them have complained of responsiveness from this store location and no one answers phone.

2. I have expressed my concern to staff in the pharmacy and they make excuses such as lack of staff.

3. The staff that is there has poor customer service, their attitudes are unfriendly, stressed and lack of empathy.

4. I have switched back to Walgreens due to the above. I went in to Rite Aid to advise them and they told to let Walgreens know. I went to Walgreens and they told me they are aware of this Rite Aid and cannot get them to answer phones for other customers and have given up on trying to contact them. I went back to Rite Aid and all they do is roll their eyes and say there is nothing they can do.

5. The staff at this location has been unwilling to go the extra mile to contact doctors about any changes and have lacked proactivity.

Bottom Line is that I have switched back to Walgreens even though I may pay more because they have MUCH BETTER SERVICE! I have also changed my insurance to one that will accept Walgreens as a preferred pharmacy.

Desired outcome: An apology is not enough because nothing changes. Have Corporate Office put Store #05275 on notice of the complaint and to suggest changes. The perception in our Community is that they have big problems at this particular location.

Rite Aid Will NOT answer phone / Gives wrong script price

Absolute worse. No matter how nice the staff seem to others, their refusal to answer the phone or return calls proves they sincerely don't give a crap about others' pharmaceutical needs. I called several times from 9am-8pm for 3 days (10/17-20, 2022) and not one answer or return call. On the 4th day (10/20/22) I drove to the store to inquire about a refill and was given a price triple the amount I should pay. After asking why so high the girl shrugged her shoulders and had no valid reason or desire to look into it. She said that was with my Good RX Gold. I told her that couldn't be right. She just stood there with a clueless stare.

I asked her how to transfer my script to WalMart and she said I have to go there, and they will call Rite Aid to transfer. It's been 3 days and still no transfer. How the hell is WalMart going to get it transferred with a phone call when they don't answer their phones!?

After checking into it myself, the girl was totally wrong with the price of my script which is $5-8 everywhere else - not $38!

When I asked her about why they don't answer their phones and let her know I tried calling for 3 days, the girl quietly said, "Yeah they won't answer the phones". I am Extremely frustrated and will NEVER do business with this pharmacy again.

Desired outcome: I need my prescription transferred to Walmart immediately to continue taking my medication.

Rite Aid Pharmacy

My doctor sent a prescription over to your 105th & St. Clair pharmacy on 10/13/2022. Here it is 10/20/2022. I have spoken to the Pharmacist on several occasions, first it was a problem with the Doctor, then there was a problem with Medicaid. There was a 3-way called placed between me, the Pharmacist, and a representative form Gainwell, who covers the Pharmacy Benefits. She okayed the number of pills prescribed. I was told that my prescription would be ready on Tuesday 10/18/2022. My brother went to pick it up on Wednesday, 10/19/2022 and it still wasn't ready. I called today, 10/20/2022 and was told again that Gainwell would not okay my prescription for the number of pills ordered. I have a fractured vertebra and have not been able to secure my prescription. I have suffered a whole week because of this.

Desired outcome: I want my prescription for the number of pills prescribed and an apology for being given the run around by your pharmacist. My name is Ola Brown [protected].

Rite Aid pharmacy

Unbelievably horrid

3 days after the prescription is ordered by my Doctor and with 3 attempts to pick up only after being told

"give me an hour" (which by the way only happens after several attempts and constant redialling the pharmacy dept.) Then sitting in the drive thru no less than 20 minutes each time

(3 times!)

I finally was given 2 of my 3 medications, still waiting on the 3rd. why after 3 days it is still not in stock? what if it was urgent medication?

WTH happened? this Company is going to lose customers, myself included

Ridiculous!

Desired outcome: Correct employees, hire, whatever is necessary customer service is gone!!!

Rite Aid Pharmacy department

As of March 2022, I have not been able to contact the pharmacy staff, regarding my medications status, my medical ride can not get through therefore they do not authorize ride to the pharmacy in order to pick up our meds. My son has disabilities and suffering from seizures. The RiteAid pharmacy in Aloha 17495 sw Farmington rd. Aloha, Or. 97007, has been acting very unethical & unlawful, the pharmacist bills the Insurance company in advance and 5-7 days later they fill his prescriptions. My son had to go without his Seizure medications for 4 days before this pharmacy filled his prescriptions.

This pharmacy has not been answering their phone line for the last 7 months . Every time me or other customers complain about this issue to the pharmacy manager”Joe” he claims it has to to either the store’s line.

Last week when I was at the pharmacy, I was told my doctor needs to okay the full of my prescriptions cuz it was 2 day’s early. My doctors office had called them several time & could not get through. When I approached the pharmacy manager “Joe” let him know about the problem he claimed there is nothing wrong with their phone line. As I tried calling the pharmacy to proof your him there is no answer, the pharmacy Clerk walked back and flipped a switch and answered my call before it even rings.

My son & I both observed this Unethical & Unlawful actions of this pharmacy & confronted them. The pharmacy manager “Joe” & the clerk both realized they were caught. As I shouted to them about the misconduct they stayed quietly & didn’t dispute the fact that they purposely turn off their phone lines.

Is this Ethical Or Legal?

Afterwards I went and talked to the Store’s supervisor in charge , I could tell the supervisor was well aware of this misconducts of Pharmacy, She let me know she has heard so much complaints regarding this issues, she is tired of it and in So many Words She Encouraged us to file complaints with state otherwise nothing will be changed. She provided us with the Rite Aid’s corporate office number & the district managers number as well.

I have never been to reach either ones due to the lengthy hold I was placed on every time I called. Upon filling complaints with our health insurance company, Rite Aid responded us with apology and letting us know they are suffering shortages of staff and very sorry about the inconveniences.

In this case Maybe Rite Aid Should shut down their pharmacist if they can not Provide Legal, Ethical services as they are supposed to!

Beside charging the Insurance Companies with products that are not dispensed is Totally against the law. It’s same as Steeling.

Upon contacting the District Attorney of Oregon I found out, this is not Only Unethical & Unlawful, They may be subjected to Criminal charges. Messing around with people’s Prescriptions, it may cause fatalities for some therefore, in the eyes of law this is a serious matter.

I hope you all who having the same issues go to your state District Attorneys & file complaints, to put a stop on this kind corrupt behaviors.

Our Insurance pays high price for our medications is this the way we should be treated as patients in need of medications?

Desired outcome: Either shut down the pharmacy or provide the services they are supposed to citizens.

Rite Aid Pharmacy out of medication regularly

My mother is on eliquis. She called in for a refill on 10/11/22. She stopped in on 10/15/22 to pick up and was only given 6 pills. They said they wouldn't have more in until after 4pm on 10/17/22. This is unacceptable - especially for such a common drug. This is not the first time this has happened. When only given a 30-day supply, one expects to have the medication available when needed. There is no reason with today's technology that the pharmacy cannot predict when patients will be needing refills. The pharmacy has been understaffed since the pandemic started. This is totally inconvenient for customers. The senior citizens in the area deserve better. They should not have to drive down to Rite Aid multiple times a week to pick up their full prescription.

Desired outcome: Update your pharmaceutical inventory and hire more staff!

Rite Aid Prescription call back when ready for pick-up

This is the second time that I have not been notified of a prescription refill until one week after it's ready.

When I do get the call, the recording does not say who it's for or what the prescription is.

The latest encounter was at the 3250 Union Rd., Orchard Park, NY 14217.

The prescription was ready on Oct 9, 2022, I was told and the only call I received was on Oct 15.

Desired outcome: I want to know why this is happening and what will be done to resolve the situation in the future. We are talking about life sustaining drugs that require timely response.

Rite Aid Pharmacy issues

Beginning in March 2022, two local Rite Aid stores (Milwaukie, OR and Happy Valley, OR) do not answer their telephones. Prescription wait-times have also increased from less than an hour to several hours.

I'm completely exhausted with their excuses about not having enough, or hiring enough employees. We the people are sick of their excuses.

The solution is a simple one: If Rite Aid is going to come and 'invade' our region (yes, they invaded and pushed out every independent pharmacy in this city some 20 years ago), then their corporate office and Board of Directors had better pay appropriate wages to attract employees here in the Portland, OR metro area.

If they continue offering junk wages for pharmacy technicians, no one here will ultimately come to work for them.

Moral of this story: Forget raking in every half-cent of their already high profits and pay well enough to keep a full head-count in each pharmacy.

If they can't pay the 'going rate' in this area to retain quality and quantity of people, then close their doors and get out of Oregon.

I can't tell you how many hours I've spent this past year on hold, or having to drive to the store because they won't answer their business line! I am a CPA and this corporation's gluttonous expansion will result in the death of this company.

Desired outcome: Increase their pay across the board by 20-25%
