Damages of loss to a trader
Got my machine very excited about it, the sales rep came , seen my van, seen it ran off batteries.
Had no worries about the machine in my van so we went for it.
This was my new business so the van was new to me.
I started out in it, the machine kept tripping out the electric, phoned the rep, to be told call the service team, did everything we could, bought a new inverter £400, still tripped out, bought 2 more batteries, still tripped out, perceived as much as we could, got a generator as large as I could lift, the generator worked for 2hrs, then cut out, so I wasn't making my machine work for my customers , it didn't look good, Cutting out half way through serving a customer, giving money back, paying for a machine that was useless.
A serviceman came out, told us the machine was to big for the power in my van!
We were then under the impression rijo would collect the machine, but the rep Sean said its not their problem, contact the finance team, finance team told us to contact rijo, we have had not help, nobody cares, they just want there money, we have now had the machine for 8 mths, with no gain or profit from the machine, its a terrible company to deal with, I have contacted the citizens advice , they say I have a case under the 1974 act , damages to liss of trader, so I am now seeking a solicitor who will be more educated with this horrible situation, which could of been handled so easily with good customer care.
This company does not give a hoot as long as they get a sale.

Mis sold lease on coffee machine
I contacted Rijo with regards to purchasing a bean to cup coffee machine. I spoke to Sean who came to our business to demonstrate the machines. We were quoted £35 per week. Only to be receiving invoices for double that.
Too many hidden charges, water filters £140+ delivered with no explanation. We wasn't even made aware of such charge. The machine broke, and engineer was sent out to fix it with no mention of any charges. We were told it was under warranty. I called rijo regarding another matter, only to be told we had an outstanding invoice of just short of £500 for the repair! This was never mentioned at the time the con man of the sales team demonstrated the machines to us. Sean should hang his head in shame. We are a small business and can't sustain these costs. We contacted and asked for help to reduce or have a payment break whilst we were closed due to covid. We were quickly refused one.
We have 2 machines which cost a fortune and not to mention the costs for beans, milk etc. Way overpriced and tried to tell us, because we hadn't ordered any supplies from them they wouldn't deal with us as we must be using products purchased elsewhere. I had to go through 2 weeks worth of rubbish to get the batch code they required. We hadn't ordered to a closure of the business.
Total disgrace of a company, customer service is VERY poor.
We also received an invoice for a large qty of chocolate that we never ordered. According to them it was a telephone order, which I never do! I requested a copy of the call recording, of course this never arrived.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Desired outcome: Cancel both contracts and a refund for all insurance costs they kept charging us, despite sending through our own business insurance which had the equipment named

Rijo42 went bankrupt on 22nd June 2012. See Manchester Crown Court case no 2767 from 2012. However they are still trading! Total con men. I have seen a different post saying that Bolton Arena were very happy with them. I have spoken to Bolton Aena who say they are desperate to get rid of them. Lots of bad publicity on the internet if you look for it. Dont trade with these con artists

Had a very expensive horrible experience please do not use this company. They are con men. A very shameful company.
They changed details on my agreement.
They changed 6 months to 60 months.
They added incorrect information.
They have had complaints featured in business magazines.
They have been dropped by their leasing companies.
They change their name just enough to try and keep it clean. They say they have been taken over but it is actually the previous directors brother!
Go to a reputable company.
Coffee Machines
I was misold a lease for a coffee machine that I asked to just rent in front of witnesses. Fat Boy Shaun filled out the forms after I had signed them. Even spelling the business name and my home address wrong. Also our trading position and years of trading. apparently after talking to several others who have been duped by him this is what he does all the time. One guy agreed to 6 months and he changed it to 60 months.After speaking to Trading Standards (said they had received a dozen complaints within a couple of weeks) and Financial Ombudsman (who told me I had to wait 10 weeks for a reply, which turned out to be too late to prosecute) Mr G heenan knows exactly what he's doing! I got no where so Andrew Donn did a piece for me to warn other hairdressers not to use this company. Also Cf Asset who we got the lease off said they had never had a complaint about him before, but I've since found out they won't give him any more business because of the complaints.
Total wankers at Rijo in Bolton. Anything happens with a machine you purchase second hand and you contact Rijo, they REFUSE to give you any help or information about common fault errors that regularly occur in the brasil 42 model coffee machine
NEVER TAKE OUT ANY TYPE OF CONTRACT FOR A COFFEE MACHINE WITH THIS COMPANY. Anything goes wrong with the machine and you will still get charged for repairs even when the machine is supposed to be under warranty
Salesmen at Rijo will promise you all sorts just to get you to sign up a contract for a machine. Most of what they tell you is UTTER [censored] because when anything goes wrong with the machine, they will screw you for lots of money and even try and sell you a new machine even if your one is fairly new 🤣🤣🤣
Jokers! GO BUY A GOOD COFFEE MACHINE FROM REPUTABLE COMPANIES THAT TREAT CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT AND WHO WILL GIVE YOU CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.
Rijo is operated by a bunch of what can best be described as DODGEY . Their company goes bust but they just got someone who they know to take control but in reality the company is still operating with the same mugs who originally owned it.
Beware anyone thinking of buying a coffee machine from this company. Your business will suffer if you do involve your business with Rijo of Bolton

after signing up for a coffee machine with Rijo 42. i had no idea that i was signing a 5 year lease.. The agreement was hidden on the reverse of the document . the rep mentioned nothing about the fact that i was signing a 5 year agreement. He told me that i could cancel the deal any time in the future. I called Rio and asked them to terminate the agreement and was told i have to keep the machine for a minimum of 5 years..

I worked for this company and I never got paid the owner apparently robbed the company from the bloke who set the company up.All she does is srt cocain in Ibiza please do not support her habit.
Sean the sales person is a crook of the highest order changing paper work false signatures I could go on and on
Do not even try rijo coffee if the taste does not send you running for the toilet the price will. How can you sell floor sweepings from Columbia at Harrods prices.No wounder you are driving an 80 grand car.Stop it you are not doing any good.

This bunch of crooks have just had me over on a lease.they said it was for 3 years however when I asked for a copy of the aggrement it said 63 months.when. Asked they said it was for 5 years not 3 anyway when has 5 years been 63 months surely it should be 60 months.STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

Well that is funny becuase I contacted Bolton Arena and they told me that they are not renewing the contratc with Rijo42! It seems to be YOU that are the fake poster! The evidence speaks for itself, ask Manchester Crown Court who put them in to administration recently!

This complaint has no evidence to back up the claim. It looks to me like the person who is posting these comments about rijo 42 has some sort of obsession with the company. It may be that they once worked for rijo 42 Ltd and because they couldn’t fulfil their job role within the company they may have moved on as a result (or not as the case may be) with a bitter taste in their mouth.
I have seen other posts about rijo 42 Ltd from a company called B.N.P Motors from user davejones001, a second post (exactly the same) from user davejones1984 and then another post from Bolton Arena, all within 48 hours of each other. The user davejones001 is apparently based in Australia and rijo 42 currently don’t supply this part of the world at the moment.
I have taken a look at Bolton Arena's website http://www.boltonarena.com/contact-us, you will soon realise that a company funded by Sport England would not put this type of thing on an American complaints website, they would (if the claim was true) go through the correct procedure and take legal advice through their solicitor.
I was inclined to look a little further after seeing this post, so I contacted the catering manager at the Bolton Arena who informs me that they are very happy with the offering that rijo 42 Ltd provide.
If I was looking to do business with rijo 42 I would certainly contact them direct first and ask for testimonials from customers who use the product day in day out rather than listen to this dribble.
One thing for certain is that this person (davejones001, davejones1984, alan11smith ) will not stop here, they will continue to create “fake” accounts on this website and keep posting negative comments about the company.

DOGGY COMPANY
This is the worst scam i have ever been involved with.I workrd for city electrical factors and then got offered a job with rijo 42.As i had worked for city electrical they told me go and sell them a coffee machine at all costs, tell them anything you want just get the deal.I was told to say that it was on a six month rental agreement, when i got back to the office they made me personily change the letters from six to sixty three months or get out of the company as i was broke i had no option>as ~soon as i made the admendments everybody in the office starting cheering i thought that this was a kind of an initation ceremory a bit like good fellows the movie as it was a friday i was given a beer can and 100 pounds and told there is plenty more suckers out there. Then i was offered a class a drug they were all at it even the owner some older lady and her sister i could not belive my eyes every one was on the white powder have some of this, said a former sales colleague this happen every week, friday night. After 4 weeks i walked away stay clear walk away

I had the most terrible experience with this mob of con artists.Where is my money?Gail Heathcote clearly stated that she would give our company 10, 000 Pounds in sponsorship money to pay off our existing lease to Seaman's Fiance.You are nothing but utter crooks.No service over priced Beans whitener sugar etc.When I asked for a copy of my contract they said that they will forward this to me .THIS WAS OVER 12 months ago.PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THESE CON ARTISTS THEY ARE ### AND ALL THEY DO IT TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LAUGH IN YOUR FACE HOW DID I GET RIPPED OFF BY THIS BLAYTANT SCAM>DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THESE PEOPLE

This complaint has no evidence to back up the claim. It looks to me like the person who is posting these comments about rijo 42 has some sort of obsession with the company. It may be that they once worked for rijo 42 Ltd and because they couldn’t fulfil their job role within the company they may have moved on as a result (or not as the case may be) with a bitter taste in their mouth.
I have seen other posts about rijo 42 Ltd from a company called B.N.P Motors from user davejones001, a second post (exactly the same) from user davejones1984 and then another post from Bolton Arena, all within 48 hours of each other. The user davejones001 is apparently based in Australia and rijo 42 currently don’t supply this part of the world at the moment.
I have taken a look at Bolton Arena's website http://www.boltonarena.com/contact-us, you will soon realise that a company funded by Sport England would not put this type of thing on an American complaints website, they would (if the claim was true) go through the correct procedure and take legal advice through their solicitor.
I was inclined to look a little further after seeing this post, so I contacted the catering manager at the Bolton Arena who informs me that they are very happy with the offering that rijo 42 Ltd provide.
If I was looking to do business with rijo 42 I would certainly contact them direct first and ask for testimonials from customers who use the product day in day out rather than listen to this dribble.
One thing for certain is that this person (davejones001, davejones1984) will not stop here, they will continue to create “fake” accounts on this website and keep posting negative comments about the company.

They offer free demonstrations on all their equipment and have a brand new showroom that you can visit if you need to.
We are extremely happy with the service they provide, their service is first class and the coffee is fantastic. It certainly keeps the staff in our office going all day that’s for sure! :)
