VodaHostScam

My account was suspended today without any notice. First they told me becouse i dont pay. When i show the payment receipt they said i am spraiding viruses. My company have been customer to them for the past 3 years. Our company never scam, or do any illegal activity, we have virus check on our computers, they dont show any virus. We are running classified sites. People are uploading pictures files, etc. I cannot check they computers?!!! Also i cannot install on they servers any virus check/protection as it is not my server. It is their company responsibility to have a good firewall, that can prevent from virus, like other companies
Now i lost all my email communications, my script, my datas, my customer datas, and thousands of hours of work day and night for many years.

Please put yourself into my situation.
They answer is no communication, any ticket i send to them they dont reply. So this is customer service? PLEASE BEWARE FROM THIS COMPANY .

I have had two sites for over five years and the customer service is terrible, ask a question and get referred to the help pages or get a sarcastic answer back.
they care about one thing only getting your money and then your on your own You will get absolutely no help.

VodaHostBeware of Vodahost

I can't believe how badly they scrowed things up for me. We are about to go to a trade fair and all of a sudden, with no warning they terminated the hosting of our domain: the site has been redirected and we cannot send or receive e-mail. We do not have as outstanding debt with them. There is no apparent reason, and we can not get them to get back to us with as much as a response. I as really holding myself back from wishing them many tarrible things. We have a small company for eco friendly kids products. Its niche, we depand on our website traffic very much.

I have been working with VodaHost and their BlueVoda Website Builder for some time and I also joined the Affiliate Scheme (although it should be spelled Scam) to get some money back in earnings from people who click on a link from my website and join up. I know VodaHost “Support” response has always been a bit slow, unless of cause you count the automatic responses. Anyways, when I’ve had a bee in my bonnet about their lack of help, they have responded quite rudely and gave me the impression that I’m just an inconvenience between them and their pay cheque.

The latest problem is with their Affiliate Scheme. They clearly say that you can earn a lot of cash by this scheme at $70 a time for a new client who buys in from your website for a 12 month membership, that’s if they pay 12 months in advance. If they decide to pay monthly then you only get $20. Ok, now you have to have $150 in your affiliate account before they will pay you any commission, wait it gets better, you can even check how many hits you’ve had from people clicking on that little button of theirs on your site in the hope they will sign up for 12 months and you get that $70 carrot they dangle in front of you. Now, having said that, there is no way that you actually know how many of these perspective customers have joined or not, in fact the only way you can be sure they have paid their hard earned cash through your website is if you sit right next to them when they do it. I found this out because I had to remind them who had paid when I noticed there wasn’t a sale for them on my Affiliate account. This has always been the case and the annoying part is every time I email a new support ticket and give them my details and my buyers details, they send me a response (I think it’s a copy and paste thing) that says:

Please provide us with the below data so I can check your account.

    1)Your 4 or 5 digit affiliate ID.
2)Your affiliate username, the EXACT username you use to login to your affiliate account.

We apologize for the delay in approving your affiliate commission but depending on the payment method and the country of origin, sometimes sales, especially international sales can take up to 21 working days to clear fraud and compliance control. Please be fully aware that all your affiliate referrals and sales are very carefully tracked and credited the second they clear fraud and compliance control.

Your affiliate sale and commission has been approved.

The next time this happened I waited over a month before I contacted them and again I got...

I then asked when I would be paid out as I now had $200 in my commission account, their reply was...

Affiliate payments are paid automatically into your PayPal account on the 16th of the month after your balance is equal to or in excess of $150.

So then I asked them why my commission hadn’t been paid into my account?

    Their reply was...

You must have a balance of at least $150 for payments to be made.

Is this beginning to follow a pattern of delaying tactics do you think?

Well I give them my details in the 1, 2, 3, format as they asked for, by this time I imagined there was bets being taken in the VodaHost office on what this pr**k could make me do next, and what time on a 24 hour clock would I snap.

I gave them all my details again everything! And got ignored, then I checked out on Google Earth where these monkeys where and looked for the nearest Police Department in their area, took the details and on-line complaint form and sent a reply to VodaHost saying that If my commission (now 3 days late) wasn’t paid to me that day I was going to contact The Delaware Police Department to check them and their company out.

VodaHost replay on Friday 19th March 2010...

There appears to have been a delay on affiliate Payments this month. I have requested that your commissions be paid into your PayPal account. This will be done today.

    Thanks,

On the close of day Friday 19th March 2010, and nothing paid into my account, I emails my complaint and all the emails to The Police Department in Delaware.

Now I’ve pulled a few strings from this end I’m hoping to see them dance for me for a change.

VodaHostUnethical business practices

This company is unethical and does false advertising. They claim on their website that a total novice can build and publish a website in half an hour. That in itself is a lie. They don't even believe enough in their product to offer a satisfaction guaranteed refund. They will not refund one cent. Their customer service is also awful and their personnel are rude. Try contacting Ryan Hannington with a complaint and you will immediately see what I mean. Please call the Better Business Bureau in Delaware and report them. The phone number is [protected]. It will take five minutes. Do it now!

VodaHostDeceptive business practices

We purchased a domain and web hosting service in 2007. When the new invoice came due it stated for web hosting and domain. We paid this invoice in full September of 2008. We have the credit card statements to prove this. This company then took our money and within 30 days canceled our site and then sold our domain to another person. They said we could find out who bought it and buy it from them. I believe they have it and are using this as extortion. They say it is not their fault that the invoice gives the impression that the domain is paid by the wording. We have copies of all invoices. We never received a separate billing for the domain name. This is deceptive to anyone purchasing from them and intentional. They hold domain names hostage basically. To late I checked the BBB and found they have an 'F' rating. They don't give a damn about you as a customer.

After several back and forth e-mails they tell us they will give a another one (different than the one we had) for free. We paid for this service so how is it free? The one they can give us won't do any good because our advertisement is for the previous one. They say to bad.

Don't do business with these people...they are thieves. They will bill your credit card, take the money, cancel your site then tell you to bad so sad...no refunds sucker!

Everyone is totally correct about Vodahost. This is an unethical company that is rude and refuses to back up their product with a refund of any kind. But if we don't contact the Better Business Bureau, they will continue taking our money and giggling all the way to the bank. Please call the Better Business Bureau in their state. The phone number is 302 230-0108. It will only take a few minutes of your time. Do it now!

VodaHostTerminating hosting account

Vodahost had terminated my account and wiped out 3 sites i had on a virtual plan. There whrer quality sites that were well promoted on Google.com. After contacting the service support I was given vough answer as to the reasons they have done that. They said I was spamming but never supplied the facts to back that up (and as a SEO specialists I know what spam is and know that I didn't...) Vodahost always closed my support ticket with out my permission and without giving me the answers I was desperately seeking - Be aware of such a company!

I've had almost the same experience with Vodahost. They are cheap hosting company that has no customer service support. They won't be around long enough.
    Beware of VODAHOST.
