SP Shoe Palace review: Defected air force one sneakers

My 15 year old daughter purchased a pair of black and white air force one nike sneakers as a christmas gift for me dec 2020, at the wellington florida mall location. I wore them twice and noticed that the sole was detaching from one and the leather has a slight crack on the other one. I brought the sneakers back to the store and the manager told me that i had to return them back to the nike warehouse for inspection. I reached out to nike and they told me that the only way they can replace them is if i get a copy of the receipt from the store because we don't have the original one, due to the fact that the sneakers were made in 2018 and it's been more than two years from the date of manufacture. I called shoe palace and they told me that they could not provide a copy of the receipt. Now i'm stock with a pair of $89 defected nike sneakers and can't even wear them. I never had this issue with any other stores before and i have been purchasing nike sneakers for over 35 years now.
Can someone please assist me with this issue? would break my heart if i have to tell my daughter this situation.
