Ouffer.com Avoid this company at all costs

I Purchased an Ouffer Voucher for 2 x 1 hour massages from

Nakhon Thai Massage
Level 1 109 Waverley Road, Malvern East VIC

Costing me $70.00 on the 1/11/2017

The place was a nightmare to find, not the address, but the entrance to the shop is around the back of a building, through a rabbit warren and up some stairs.

We were uncomfortable the minute we walked in. We were made to undress and wait on mattresses on the floor, laughed at, left for 25minutes to wait while the staff argued in another language and lots of shouting in english

We had our bags searched and were accused of robbing the place (whilst lying face down in our underwear on a scungy mattress on the floor), before we finally decided to walk out, loosing our money and apparently not entitled to a refund.

Ouffer refund policy states:
Prior to a voucher purchased being redeemed, the service-provider of the subject deal ceases trading, or otherwise fails or ceases to provide the service outlined in the deal purchased.

Ouffer Said:
Please note we are unable to refund you for this deal

Please feel free to refer to our Refund Policy (http://experiences.ouffer.com/refund-policy-adma) which states that Ouffer will not automatically be required to provide a full/monetary refund in cases where:

- If a service (eg. restaurant, spa, etc) experienced as a result of a voucher did not meet your general expectations. A restaurant deal for example, would not be refunded in the event that you did not enjoy your meal.

I have had several atrociously spelled text messages from the massage parlour stating emphatically that this is not their problem, because ouffer didn't pay them for the voucher.

So who is responsible here and should this massage parlour be allowed to remain open? I don't think so...

SCAM. Plain and simple. I bought a deal, got billed thrice. Add on to that; the service was nothing as described. They do not respond to emails and refund requests. They billed me 3 times! I'm really upset. Please guys, save your money and stay away.

Unhappy experience. Been waiting almost 7 weeks for an iPad cover which I paid for back in early Jan. I've sent a few emails to support@ouffer.com & I just get an automated response. I've only had one email from them (Tia, from Team Ouffer) a few weeks ago that said my item will arrive soon. I've emailed them twice since then & no response. They really don't seem to care. I would not recommend them at all.

I purchased a deal from this site and when i tried to redeem the product the company had disappeared. their number was disconnected and website had disappeared. when i email ouffer (4 time) i only got on reply that said to go to their site and that my issue was deemed solved. so in short they took $250 of my money and i got nothing back, pretty disappointing when other coupon sites are so good.

Ouffer.com They are scam artists

I purchased a kayaking voucher but everytime I would try and redeem it, the weather was horrendous and they could never "fit me in" when I wanted, as a result my voucher expired after a gazillion times of trying to redeem it! There is no contact number for ouffer and I have sent over 456632 emails to them. They are scam artists, I have never had any problems with other companies and I am disgusted with this illegitimate company who refuse to give me back the money they STOLE from me. And in my emails I have told them to ring me and they wont, they must be an illegal overseas company stealing people's money!

Ouffer FAIL: What can they ‘ouffer’ you? They ouffer ‘deals’ for services that are not redeemable, from companies who only accept online bookings… but have no online slots available. They then ouffer no compensation, but will happily quote irrelevant Ts & Cs. Dealing with shoddy companies like this, it’s no wonder Ouffer are going bankrupt. Avoid at all cost.

Had exactly the same experience... Ouffer coupon cannot be redeemed - merchant can't fit you in and Ouffer won't refund and take forever to answer support mails. SCAMMERS!

Ouffer.com Customer service is appalling

Ouffer refused to refund a voucher the provider wouldn't honor. Stay away from Ouffer, very dodgy! Wasted $69.

Customer service is appalling. I was offered a $20 credit which is useless because I would never ever buy anything from them again. Refused the credit and advised I would follow this up with the ACCC.

Ouffer.com Don't waste your time with this Scammers

Absolute Joke. Purchased a dinner for two for a place that had actually been closed down and a change of owenership. The owners advised us to contact Ouffer as they will honour a refund. After 4 weeks of continious emails i am yet to hear anything back from them. Don't waste your time with this Scammers.

This company is an absolute scam. The take your money and fail to deliever the goods. The customer service is non-existent and when a response is finally received it appears as though it automated and provides no solution. They are thieves and you should stay well clear of them. I wish I had known before making my purchase.

If this Ouffer was legit! Why does not some one get back to me? And why when I opened a post on Facebook, was I charged! I would like a full refund... I will have to go to the bank, and ring Paypal... Warning... Do NOT have Ouffer Emails sent or Post anything from Ouffer on your Facebook Wall... Someone called Jamal ? Has refused a refund...Of MY MONEY ! Well I dont think so... I will let Payapl know about all the negative feedback form these scammers.

I am waiting to hear form someone! I have been charged for a deal, that I did not purchase... This is NOT good enough! I let you know straight away, and have even offered to have a credit, and purchase something else... I will be following this up with my bank... I dont know who Jamal is ? Very sus... NOT HAPPY... Steer clear of Ouffer... I will be ringing Paypal tommorow... which I had seen this sight ..Before, , , , I would have blocked Ouffer form my emails...

Ouffer.com What a bunch of #!#!!@

Ouffer provides dodge deals. I got a deal for carpet cleaning which turned out to be a scam. I now know from a blog published by another customer that Ouffer knew about the scam weeks before my service was meant to be provided but they never contacted me. I suspect they didn't contact anyone. So they sat there doing nothing while hundreds of people cleared their homes of furniture waiting for carpet cleaners that never arrived. What a bunch of #!#!@.

I have the same complaint. They are untruthful and engage in seriously questionable practices. Do not buy from ouffer.com unless you want to throw your money down the toilet.

I, too agree Ouffer are a scam, a typical " dodgy brothers business".
I paid for a set of earings for my wife on the 14th December, 2011, guess what, it is impossible to contact this ? company by telephone
Have submitted the complaint to PAYPAL who in turn contacted Ouffer who stated the product had been forwarded, ?To where and to whom?
I have been "stung" luckily for only a small amount, BEWARE"
iT IS NOW THE 12th February 2012 and still no goods.

I am in Australia and also have a serious complaint against Ouffer. I purchased an item 2 months ago, which was meant to be a xmas present. The item has still not arrived. I have contacted Ouffer by email, the only way they can be contacted. They directed me to the original company, who I can't contact. It's beyond a joke, they're beyond a joke, they can sell items cheaper because they're a fraud .

Ouffer.com Avoid this website at all costs

Tried to obtain a refund for 2 vouchers they sold from a vendor who wouldn't honor the service advertised - only response I got was an automated reply that they would get back to me shortly. After waiting two weeks there has been no further response. Terrible customer service as echoed by many who have reviewed Ouffer.

A week ago I purchased a 4 course meal deal for 2 ($49 only) from Ouffer.com.au.

I had previously been to Cicciolina Newtown about 3 years ago and had loved the experience back then. So I thought there is no way I am going to miss out on this deal.
I am just back from Cicciolina, I must say that my 4 course authentic Italian meal can simply described as a "4 course dining disaster". The experience was simply shocking. The deal allows customers to choose entrees, mains and desserts from a list of about 30 different and awesome items on the menu. When we asked the waitress (Sofia) to give us the menu, she comes with a menu that has not more than 7 items to choose from. She said for entrees you can only get the garlic bread and for mains you can choose from a list of only 4 items. I was utterly shocked. I was being ripped off in my face. I told the waitress in a very polite way that there probably is a misunderstanding as to why I am being offered this because the deal says that I can order whatever I want. She just would not agree. I then asked to speak to her manager. She said she does not have a manager on the floor. She then started saying that she will charge us for glass of coke which she willingly offered to swap for the wine (we do not drink wine).I then said that I would complain to Ouffer and her boss. I told her I am not leaving the restaurant without ordering and eating what I paid for. She was amazingly rude and started to negotiate. These were her exact words “ because our kitchen is not very busy I will allow you to choose whatever main you want from the menu”. By then I was pretty annoyed. I put my foot down and I demanded that I get what I paid for. She then in a very disgruntled way allowed us to order what we were entitled to.
For entrees we had the Calamari Fritti and Garlic Prawns. I swear this is true – The Garlic Prawn entrée had only 4 of the tiniest prawns and mind you this entrée actually costs $15 on the menu. So we were paying about $4 for each Prawn. The Calamari Fritti was ridiculously salty. For mains we ordered the Linguini prawns and Rissotto Funghi. They offered us baby portions. We had a look at other tables in the restaurant and the food that was served to them; the portions were way larger than ours. For dessert we ordered the pana cotta and the orange cake. The pana cotta was lovely but the orange cake was disgustingly stale. It was bitter to the core.
By now dear reader you must have realised that the management and staff at Cicciolina are absolute Hippocrates. They do not offer customers what they have promised to and websites like Ouffer and the others should distance themselves from such restaurants.
Guys, there are far better Italian restaurants in Sydney. You should not go to Cicciolina because it’s not worth your money and time. I had the most horrible dining experience that I will go nowhere close to this awful restaurant.

I then wrote an email to ouffer at support@ouffer.com.au asking them for an explanation and to invetigate into the matter. All that they did was send me a copy of their terms and conditions and offered no explanation. I am very disappointed with ouffer and would recommend customers not to use this dodgy website.

I, have been trying to sort out an issue, for 6 weeks, keep getting email, problem deemed solved... everyone has first names only.. Jamal ? Tia ? Dont open ANYTHING from Ouffer. They are as dodgy as... I have made several complaints to Paypal.. who are now looking into them, and will be aware of them... I am claiming against my institution/Bank... I did offer to take a full credit to account.. But no.. wouldnt do... No one looks into this.. and NO.. Jamal ? It is not solved... Wish I had seen this before, I signed up for Ouffer.. Spreets, LivingSocial, Cudo.. AL GREAT! DONT DO OUFFER.. Scammers. Big Time...

I am so sorry to hear that you didn't get a response to your email. I can assure you that the only email I received from you was dated 22nd December - the date on which you last responded on this forum! It is obviously not in our best interests to literally ignore customer emails and you should rest-assured that we did not do so in this case.

In any case - my understanding is that your situation has since been resolved in the form of a full refund back to your account. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances - the service-provider was unable to honour the deal in question and in such cases - Ouffer will always strive to protect it's members and issue a full refund where necessary. The funds should be back with you already.

Again - I hope you can accept my sincerest apologies for the inconvenience caused by this whole ordeal and am in no doubt that your next Ouffer experience will be a far more positive one! P.S Dave @ Ouffer I sent you an e-mail 7 days ago and you still could not be bothered providing a response.
They claim to be the inocent party. The ones that advertise a deal for you, but take no resposibility for the moneys or the offers validity. I find that interesting when in my case the money went to Ouffer first and they paid the supplyer?
