Miss-sold the hotel and grade and horrible customer service
We booked the 5* Vici la Plantacion from onthebeach.co.uk. We were offered Superior Sea facing room. However, it was not true. We were offered a room that was not sea facing and the hotel asked for additonal 50 Euros to get a sea facing room. We were told the transfer are private, but this was not true. We were clubed with another set of passengers. This is a cheap company who missell you with 5* quality service and deliver a 1* service. Avoid them at all cost.
Cost of changing passengers name
I booked a holiday for two people to Fuerterventura, self catering and due to depart on 30/01/2014. I booked this on 30/08/2013 and it cost £512.72. I am the lead passenger and its with my card that the cost is being paid with. Unfortunately the other passenger is unable to travel so on 03/10/2013 I tried to change the passengers name and I was quoted £170 to change. All the travel organisation needs to do is change the name, I have not provided any passport numbers or other details other than names of passengers, surely it cant cost this to simple change a name on their computer and let the airline know? The cost of the change is nearly the cost of the holiday for one person! Alex Gurmin
