Nicholas County DHHR review: Wrongfully accusing of neglect and abuse and coercion

Was threatened my child would be taken in states custody if I did not sign safety plan. The safety plan had incorrect information too many discrepancies. I requested to speak with an attorney before signing and 2 of the workers erin forrent and her acting supervisor at the time janet burge. Also misinformation about a prior incident that did not involve me however I was associated with. I have sought legal representation and do not feel the intake process to be of upstanding process. My children were traumatized by their actions, my granddaughter was not allowed to go to the bathroom, nor her or my grandson were provided any food while waiting for the department to sort our information. Children were taken into states custody and should not have been.
