Mycredithealth.com SCAM

October 2010 I reviewed a website called MYCREDITHEALTH.COM listing that one time credit reports can be provided for a $1.00 charge . I elected to receive these credit reports and provide a credit/debit card number as requested for these reports for this charge. Unbeknownst to me MYCREDITHEALTH.COM was taking unauthorized amounts of $29.95 from my credit/debit card that I authorized (only) for the $1.00 charge. Since my wife and I use this credit/debit card for most of our bill paying these unauthorized charges unfortunetly went undetected for 12 months. Finally upon questioning/reviewing this deduction from our acount I called MYCREDITHEALTH.COMN and question what these charges were about .The gentlemen said these charges were for membership services for MYCREDITHEALTH.COM. I question what membership and what benefits was I receiving. He reviewed the acount and verified that I was not receiving and benefits and/or using any services (whatever they are) and would submit a request for reimburement from the MYCREDITHEALTH.COM . I that time he told me I was being charged $29.95 since Ocotober 2010. I was very upset and he said they would get back to me in 2 to 3 business days. Subsequently MYCREDITHEALTH.COM sent me an email that they would reimburse me for the unauthorize deductions for October 2010 and denied reimbursement for the other 11 months a total $329.45. I do not ubderstand their logic for reimbursemnt of only one month and still out the remainer for the unathorized deductions to this day.

In regards to the comment above. I was under no obligation to "click on" to the terms and conditions. I was only agreeing to have mycredithealth.com provide a one time credit report for $1.00. Since the submission of the complaint mycredithealth.com has refunded to my account $150.75 out of the $359.40 that is owed to me.

I signed up for their "free trial" to receive my credit report. The site was recommended to me by my mortgage broker, so I was assuming it was a legitimate site. I called and canceled the next day after accessing my credit report, so I wouldn't be charge. 7 days later the 29.95 charge shows up on my credit report. I called and complained and they indicated they had no record of my cancellation call or cancellation number. They refuse to give a refund even though I never used the site after the free trial memebership ended.

Advertises free credit reports. You will then be signed up for the $29.95 a month credit monitoring fee. If you try to cancel, they will dodge your request to cancel and refund with vague, misleading information. They have an F rating with the Dallas BBB and I would encourage anyone who has trouble with them to file a complaint with the Texas Attorney General. This company is one of many scam companies under One Technologies, L.P.
BEWARE! If a company asks for your credit card, be assured there will be a charge for something down the line.

go to directcomplaint.com and file a consumer complaint. They will send out the letter you have created by answering the questions that have been formatted, and they will send it out for you. It also gets tracked to see when and how the business responded. Good Luck!

Mycredithealth.com Charged my account when i did not open any with them

I never registered anything with mycredithealth.com. There was an email from freecredit report which said free trial for first few days, where i registered and then cancelled it. I was not using my account for past 2 months since i was in a business schedule and when i checked my account today, i saw that mycredithealth.com had charged me $29.9 without even me registering with them . I never got a mail nor any indication of their registration. Because of this my account had gone to negative and i had to face many problems. I have called them up and asked for refund. But they have not yet turned back to me.

i ordered a 1 dollar credit report then this company started taking 29.00 out of my account every month automatically. I disputed the charges and my bank dismissed them and refunded my money and sent me a new card. Then my bank PNC Bank sent them the new card number so they could continue stealing from me. The bank charged me 7 dollars for the new card and their wonderful service. when i discussed it with them they told me i needed to come to this site and fix the problem myself or they would charge me for the charges they helped create

I signed up to receive a ONE time credit report and noticed I was charged 29.95 since September of 09. I just caught the mistake now as I have been in and out of the hospital this year with surgical issues. When I called to receive a refund for these charges, they indicated (word for word) that in the "VERY SMALL PRINT in the terms & conditions it says you have to cancel your membership or an ongoing fee will be charged". This company is manipulative and they are ripping people off! They will not refund my money and I'm out $179 for services I never used through the 6 months of charges. Please tell your friends and family to beware. I would hate to have this happen to anyone else. Thank you for listening, Mandy

On Friday, October 15, 2017, I was reconciling our checking statements for 2017 and found a charge of $29.95 under our debit charges for this company, called Mycredithealth.com. Upon futher investigation I found that thi company has been debiting $29.95 from our checking account since June, 2017.

Consequently, this company has submitted 17 fraudulent ATM charges to our bank. I immediately cancelled membership. I asked for a refund and was told that they could only refund 2-3 months of charges because I didn't cancelled the membership that I opened on June, 2017. I informed them that I didn't open any account and the reps from this company, including the supervisor was very rude to me and insisted that I accepted their membership and did not cancel and therefore the charges were legitimate.

I asked for a copy of the application that I agreed to and if I agreed to their membership; how did they get access to our checking account.

This company, Mycredithealth.com set up an account for me by sending me an email and I opened it with a user name and password and they fraudulently got my banking information from my personal credit file. Since they are a credit type business they had access to all my personal information. This company has my social security number and I had to give them the last four numbers of my social to close this account.

I am going to pursue this fraud through every means necessary to get all my money back. I also filed these charges with our personal bank as fraudd. Along with Mycredithealth.com in June 2017, a company called privacymid.com (MVQ-PMidenty) was fraudulently set up. I filed a separate complaint against them.

The consensus on this website seems to be widespread: MyCreditHealth.com tricks people into paying a $29.95 monthly fee through a misleading free trial sign-up. I was surprised to find a charge on my account, and when I called, the representative told me it states in the terms of service that you need to actively cancel the "free trial" or else you'll be charged. This provision DOES NOT belong hidden in small text in the TOS. Customers should be made aware in very clear terms before they process the free trial that they are signing up for an ongoing service for which they will be charged. That they are not seems calculated to trick people who take advantage of a free trial into paying at least one monthly fee.

To add insult to injury, after taking time out of my day and waiting patiently on the phone to speak to a representative, the representative's promise to look into the matter and email me with an answer to my reimbursement request was never fulfilled. I was told I'd be emailed in a few days. No email ever came, and it's now weeks later. I can only assume, then, that my request was ignored and it was assumed I would just forget about the matter.

I am frankly astounded at the lack of professionalism exhibited by MyCreditHealth.com and its representatives. It is shocking that a company that purports to help people avoid being made the victim of credit card scams in fact scams people itself.

I did not sign up for any health thing, I only logged on to get my credit report. They were only suppose to charge a fee of $2.00, just for the report. I got a copy of my bank statement which they took it upon themselves to charge my accoount. I do not like companies just taking my money without my approval. So I am not happy! I also called two associates that told me to go on line to just look at the benefits. I just want them to cancel it because I did not approve it.

Mycredithealth.com Fraud

I use a preloaded Wallmart Debit card on the web for purchases. While making a purchase on another website it came back as declined. When I checked the Wallmart accounts website to see what the problem was there were 2 charges in the month of June for mycredithealth.com. each for $29.95. I immediately called them and they informed me that I had used the card on their website and did not cancel after the free 7 day privilege. I emplained to them that I did not enroll in their site. They told me that I had and that they had emailed out credit reports from all three credit reporting agencies. They were unwilling to give me any information. I do not understand how someone could order a credit report or obtain my social security number to do so. They were unwilling to give me the social security number involved. I finally gave them my email address and they admitted it was not the email address on file. They agreed to cancel the account. But not refund the money without an IC-3 report of fraud to the FBI which I promptly made . I am unable to go any furthur back than June on the Wallmart website so I do not know if charges were made before that. According to their records the acct was activated on May 4, 2009. I have since notified Walmart of the fraud. And received an automated response from IC-3 which was forwarded to My Credit Report.com. Whomever has perpetrated this crime also put a charge through to Apple I Tunes and they have been most helpful in resolving the problem. However, of course they will not give me any information regarding the account. When crimes like these are commited the consumer has no recourse in getting the information needed to prosecute. I pulled a credit report from Equifax and it showed nothing. We have no revolving credit, our mortgage is paid off and no credit cards and haven't had for the last 14 years. There were also no inquiries showing. I have another credit report coming from TRW though the mail. And will be interested to see what that says. My advice to all is that if you need a credit report you can go through the federal government and get one free each and every year. Do not pay for credit reports online have them mailed to your residence.

Well I checked my bank transactions online and found mycredithealth.com had debited my account $19.95, I NEVER AUTHORIZED THIS DEBIT! This is a scam of some kind and I am NOT happy.

Okay,

First of all, I have never read, seen, nor heard of mycredithealth.com in my life (up until this point). Just recently I go to transfer money to my sisters account (she does the christmas shopping while im in school) and low and behold I am in over draft!

I thought what could I have possible charged to my account that would have put me in overdraft? The answer, nothing.

Upon investigation, I noticed a one time fee of $29.95 from mycredithealth.com. I never once inquired about credit (I am a college student and have been lucky enough to never own a credit card) and I have never tried a "free trail".

I found these two things to be fairly homogeneous amongst these complaints about this website.

However, I was able to find one story that, although slightly, still seemed to resemble mine.

One person had made (or tried to make) a purchase with their "Walmart" gift card and after being declined they noticed the charges.. Since they said it was declined once I am assuming that they had used the card previously. Here is where are stories begin to relate.

In late November I made a purchase from Walmart.com (contact lenses if you must know) and that was the very last thing I used my card for on the internet. Now in early December I am having issues with this mystery company.

I wonder, do these two (Walmart and mycredithealth.com) have anything to do with eacher other? Could there be a breach in Walmart's e-commerce security? Perhaps this is just a peculiar coincidence...

I'm not really sure what to believe but I hope I get this figured out. I'm too young and BROKE to be dealing with this [censored]!

I HAVE EXPERIENCED ALMOST THE EXACT SCENARIO DOWN TO THE MONTH AND DATE I SUPPOSEDLY HAVE BEEN ACTIVATED. I EXPLAINED THAT I DID NOT AUTHORIZE ANYTHING CONCERNING TRIAL OFFERS, CREDIT MONITORING OR ANYTHING ELSE ONLINE. THIS IS WHY I AM VERY WEARY OF CONDUCTING ANY TRANSACTIONS USING TECHNOLOGY. IT IS GETTING WAY TO EASY TO STEAL IDENTITIES, MAKE UP ACCOUNTS, ETC.

Oh, to continue the above text. If this company takes your money it is fraud if you did not order a report. The fact that they charged us $29.95 for a credit report that was NOT issued to start with, because when someone is dead their is no report. Second, the $29.95 is for an ongoing report, and how can you give an ongoing report if their is no report to begin with? We also sent a letter to their state attourney general advising them of this, because that is fraud when one excepts money from a credit card knowing they can not provide the service they have charged for. Someone should remind them that if a person is dead they have NO credit, and NO credit report is avalable. When someone dies the Social Security Administration places that persons name on it's death index files. Any report about them becomes history, and is no longer avalable.

They are crooks! I found on my credit card statement a charge from MyCreditHealth.com. on our company account. I called them and was told that a request for a credit report was made using our company credit card. The name they gave me was my fathers who has been dead for 5 years. They also told me that questions that were asked on their site were not answered correctly to get the report. I then asked do you usualy run a credit report on someone that is not using a credit card in their name, also on someone who did not answer your questions correctly, AND on someone who has been DEAD for 5 years? I got no answer to any of my questions. I told them I wanted my money refunded to our business account, and was told it was up to another department. I then told them that if I did not get my money refunded I would contact all 3 credit reporting companies and tell them how they run their business. We still have not been credited our refund and our lawyer has written a letter to all 3 credit agency's to let them know that this company is not secure, and they should not allow them access to credit records.
