Repeated phone calls about compensation for bladder sling/mesh.
Receiving phone calls from East Indian sounding males who say they are from a medical company for compensation for bladder mesh surgery. I have been getting these phone calls off and on for the last two years. The calls can be several times a day to several times a month. The person asks about the surgery when you say no surgery they keep on talking and solicit personal information. I have had 22 phone calls in the last two weeks. Every time I ask to be taken off their call list and they say they will but the calls continue. Every time they state the name if the company which is mumbled and never sounds like the same name as the last call. When ask to repeat the name of company they talk over you. Today I asked the name of male caller and he said John Williams (yah right) with a thick Indian accent. I asked immediately to speak to a supervisor whose name was Eddie Brown. Amazingly also Indian with the exact same voice. These people are rude and tell you to shut up and listen. When you hang up they wait an hour and call you back. I traced the no. to Moldovia. Obviously these people are trying to steal info from unsuspecting people. I am unemployed and applying for jobs so need to answer all calls. I see many women are complaining about the harrassment and yet calls still continue. If there is an authority that can actually stop these calls please inform. I like the whistle blowing in the phone idea one women stated. Maybe if we all do this they will stop calling.

Calls to my cell phone
I often (multiple time a week) receive phone calls from people with heavy accents claiming to be with the Medical Compensation Department. If I ask them to repeat the name of the company, they hang up on me. If ask to be removed from the calling list, they hang up on me, but then continue calling me. The few times I've listened a little way in it's been regarding birth control pills. The calls come from many different numbers, and are often now blocked. It has become a big nuisance. I am on the do not call list.

mulpitple phone call requesting medical information and providing compensation for faulty "mesh implants"
These people call me so many times. They request information about your medical history and are particularly interested in mesh implants, bladder slings, blood thinners, and birth control. Regardless of what you tell them...they just keep calling!

I just received one of these call. My question who released my medical information to this man? I plan on following up with a HIPPA violation to whomever released my private medical information.
I received a very similar call today from an Indian speaking man regarding a bladder surgery I never had, who was very pushy. I didn't give him any slack! I promptly told him he was incorrect, had the wrong number and had better NOT call me back. Hopefully this works!
