Facebook False News

I continually get (and report) fake news regarding Robert Peston and James May, both UK household names. Each time I report them but they continually re-appear as if you have no way of stopping them. There must also be many other "celebrities" that have False News posted, so I'd expect you to be able to screen these if many posts appear on the same person? Surely by now you must have had others report these False News postings and be able to screen out these posts, on the Name alone?

Facebook My loss is job opportunities due to poor character in my youth.

I have been trying to have my old account removed, multiple people have reported it as a fake account & is a defamation to my character & professional career. The account hasn’t been active for years & i have no access to the email or phone associated to the account. It is imperative i get the account removed & someone at Facebook is refusing to do so. The profile is without a doubt mine, you can compare my current profile & friends list to the old one. I just need this settled to move forward with my career. The email associated is [protected]@yahoo.com. This email is no longer relevant nor is the phone number which hasn’t been active for a number of years now.

Desired outcome: To remove the account ‘Josh Wright (Jay J)’ associated to the email [protected]@yahoo.com which has been inactive for a number of years now.

Facebook Hacking of my account

My facebook account has been hacked today and there is seemingly no way to contact anyone to talk to about this, you have frozen my account and business page, and I can no longer login to facebook, there is zero recourse and I have spent hours going round and round on website help loops on your so-called customer service only to end up every time with:

Facebook Reinstate the account

I recently learned of this forum. Facebook deleted my account in around 6/5/2022 because I refused to upload a video of me slowly turning my head side to side. I complained because I am and Illinois resident and believed this is a violation of Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act. Per the Jackson Lewis FAQ named "Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act:"

The BIPA largely went unnoticed until 2015, when a series of five class action lawsuits of similar nature were brought against businesses alleging unlawful collection and use of the biometric data of Illinois residents. (See – Pezen v. Facebook Inc., 1:15-cv-03484 (N.D. Ill. Apr. 21, 2015); Licata v. Facebook Inc., 1:15-cv-04022 (N.D. Ill. May 5, 2015); Patel v. Facebook Inc., 1:15-cv- 04265 (N.D. Ill. May 14, 2015); and Gullen v. Facebook Inc., 1:15-cv-07861 (N.D. Ill. Aug. 31, 2015); Norgberg v. Shutterfly, Inc., 1:15-cv-05351 (N.D. Ill. June 17,

2015)).

Claimed loss: I had also posted several links to Science Journal, Medical Journal, and Medical experts that the US government had encouraged Facebook to prevent from being viewed. The timeline of this data would be helpful in a book I am writing.

Desired outcome: Facebook needs to reinstate the account for me, Troy Gee with, e-mail [protected]@gmail.com,

Facebook I have a love/hate relationship with facebook.com

I have a love/hate relationship with facebook.com. I love it because without communication I can keep up with people (not just friends) from home. They pretty much put their whole life out there. I know when their birthdays are just in case I forget or get drunk and just want to give them a shout out! I can see baby pictures, wedding pictures, graduation pictures, night on the town pictures. You name it. I feel like I know these people more than I ever have. It is a fabulous resource for companies to advertise, and build their business and to engage with their fans. BUT... the personal level of facebook.com not only weakens the communication skills of our up-coming society (among many other things) but also makes it much easier for anyone to track us down. Not always a bad thing but not always a good thing either. Wish people would be a bit more careful with what they post on the internet for their own safety but I do enjoy the insight.

Facebook Facebook is the leader in social websites

Facebook is the leader in social websites.

It is easy to use, fun, convenient, real time, and SAFE! You can view photos, send messages, chat, and even poke! In addition, it is becoming a gold mine for company's to advertise about their products. With that being said, you also have an array of applications or games to play to make your experience better!

Lastly, do NOT blame Facebook or anyone else if your information gets out. Facebook is EXTREMELY secure and offers great protection of privacy. However, you are in charge of how public or private your account is. No need to blame anyone else if you do not take the 20 seconds to change the privacy settings. With that being said, choose carefully if you want to add co-workers as your friends as they can see all of the information and photos you have posted though Facebook has now added features where you can choose to block certain parts of your page from specific people.

Good Luck! Have Fun! Adjust your privacy settings to your desire.

Facebook Circle of moms has been a great experience for me

Circle of moms has been a great experience for me. I've been a member for well over a year. With the good comes the bad though. There are groups of women who will not stop, even if you ignore them and do not respond to them in any way. Happily the administration of this site are on top of things. They have a No THUMPS rule which stands for No Threats, Hate speech (slurs or stereotyping), Unlawful use, Misrepresentation (no fake profiles), Personal attacks (abuse, vilify or slander other members), and Spam (no advertising or solicitation). This rule covers any and all common problems that arise. Personal attacks are generally what will get a person banned from the site. I know of 2 members that have gotten banned for blatantly breaking this rule multiple times, even after being given a warning.

On the whole though it is a great site. I've met some GREAT women all over the globe. I've made some great friends here as well. Smaller groups are where I would advise new members to go though and stay there. Where you can find your niche, from political affiliations to hobbies to groups of moms with children the same age as yours. Circle of Moms really does have it all and with 8+ million women and more logging on every day, it's obviously a hit!

Facebook Please don't listen to the drivel on here about Circle

Please don't listen to the drivel on here about Circle of Moms being a bad site. It is a good site, one on which I have met many wonderful women who have become trusted and loyal friends. As with any online forum, you will run into people who you do not see eye to eye with, that's just life. But rest assured, the Administration of Circle of Moms is fair, they do not kick people off of their website for no reason or to centure their political beliefs. Women who have been removed from COMs have broken the guidelines of the forum and violated rules, even if they can't take personal responsibility for their own actions. Brenda (and friends), what do you not understand about your termination? You violated No THUMPS! You put up a list of names in an open forum and accused women of things of which you had no proof, and no provocation as far as I'm concerned. You are seriously deranged and deluded. Take responsibility for yourself and your actions. The Admins of COMs want it to be a safe place for people, and they try their hardest to make it so.

People should come and judge for themselves what they think of this forum. I would suggest joining some of the smaller groups, that is where you meet like-minded moms that you can get to know very well! Hope to see everyone there!

Facebook COM is a diverse site where mothers of all walks of

COM is a diverse site where mothers of all walks of life can come together to interact with and ignore each other. Religion, Politics, Ethnicity and all of the differences we have, COM isn't a FOCUS of those parts of our lives - a lot of women forget that -- it's a great place to focus on the 1 thing we have in common - being a mom.

There are some women who turn COM into their personal 'battleground' where they feel there is a necessity to conquer those who think / believe differently. MThey take the smallest differences and have turned them into personal vendettas. They make it into some sort of personal QUEST to demean, belittle and conquer the opposition. Anything and anyone that does not agree with their 'idea' of what they figure is right -- even people that openly say they are the same affiliation -- that person must be 'taught a lesson' in any way necessary, even MONTHS after any interaction.

Sticking to the smaller groups and taking the time to observe as much as you participate your experience can be wonderful on Circle Of Moms. Don't let yourself get sucked into the petty BS and if you happen to have your name slung through the mud for no apparent reason other than you disagree - just remember that No THUMPS will be there to help you.

Stick to the guidelines and COM can be the PERFECT place to learn and help while interacting with some of the most wonderful, intelligent and caring individuals I have ever met.

Your in control of everything thats shared about u... even down 2 who can look through certain photo albums u put up. U can hav 200 people on your friend list & 5 photo albums but if one of the albums are of family or children u can adjust the settings so that out of your 200 friends only the ones you've registered as family can view that one album. & that will only stand 4 that one album! Meta

Facebook

Technology company

Meta Platforms, Inc., formerly named Facebook, Inc., and TheFacebook, Inc., is an American multinational technology conglomerate based in Menlo Park, California. The company owns Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, among other products and services.
Facebook
Access to Facebook is free of charge, and the company earns most of its money from advertisements on the website. New users can create profiles, upload photos, join a preexisting group, and start new groups. The site has many components, including Timeline, a space on each user's profile page where users can post their content and friends can post messages; Status, which enables users to alert friends to their current location or situation; and News Feed, which informs users of changes to their friends' profiles and status. Users can chat with each other and send each other private messages. Users can signal their approval of content on Facebook with the Like button, a feature that also appears on many other websites.Other services that are part of Meta Platforms are Instagram, a photo- and video- sharing social network; Messenger, an instant-messaging application; and WhatsApp, a text-message and VOIP service.

The attractiveness of Facebook

Stems in part from cofounder Zuckerberg's insistence from the very beginning that members be transparent about who they are; users are forbidden from adopting false identities. The company's management argued that transparency is necessary for forming personal relationships, sharing ideas and information, and building up society as a whole...

Facebook Facebook

Facebook. Facebook. Facebook.

Facebook started as a very exclusive club limited to college kids; now, the social site is open to all (though users must be at least 13 years old to join). Once a member, you can choose to join one or more "networks" -- a constellation of people at your school, your job, or in your region. When you join a network, others in that network can read your profile if you want them to. You can join "groups" that form around a common interest, like a band or a hobby. Users create profiles of themselves: interests, schools attended, political views, and more. You can choose to let only your friends (or certain friends) see your profile, allow only people in your networks to view it, or opt to have no limits at all. Users post photos to their online albums, send messages to one another, scribble notes on each other's "walls," and send "gifts" (icons that cost $1 after the first free one). There's also "The Marketplace," which allows members to post and search classifieds. An IM function is coming soon.

Facebook is a great place for keeping in touch with friends and making new ones. The interface is bright and inviting and makes it a snap to share thoughts, photos, links, videos and more in a constantly updated news feed. As with any open social networking site, kids can easily lie about their ages to join Facebook -- and then post dodgy stuff that could haunt them later. The good news is Facebook's new safeguard for minors, which at least blocks kids' posts from showing up on the Internet. On the downside, Facebook now makes more of a user's profile info publicly available. It's up to users to painstakingly tweak settings to hide this info.

Facebook Body products that actually works

I've been using oversea products and it's the best ever. I'm from SA and currently a distributor for them. First as a client and with the results I got I couldn't say no to become a distributor. When I started my journey with them I always first test the products as I felt my review and experiences should be a validation system for me. I'm still testing products, sell loads of them because of my before and after pictures and reviews of people who had bought by me. If you interested in buying or just become a distributor feel free to contact me. As a distributor you earn 5% commission on every sale you make. I were in the beginning just looking for an ointment for my baby's eczema and that's how I came into contact with them. They asked me to be a distributor as I would make some extra money and the levels you can achieve by selling products that actually works on for eg, stretch marks, schirosis, uneven skin colour, achne and I'm telling you some people who had bad achne can't thank me enough for helping them. And if you a green tea lover, well we have green tea tablets that not only cleanse your body but is a suppress your appetite as well and that's a bonus. The products can be used by people who have all kind of chronicle illnesses as one of my diabetic client says the green tea capsules actually stabilised her blood sugar levels and that was astonishing. We also have a spa gadget that helps uplift the skin. We actually have one for the face of which you can use for your face, hair treatments and a small clip on that you can use it for flabby arms and tummy but there's one specifically designed for the body so so you can reach more skin and the best is that you can make your money back with that by doing it to friends and family. Beauty Salon owners that is a must have and you can attract load of customers because of hear say of the finishing results. That's all I want the whole world to know about it. You can contact me via email at ***@yahoo.co.za if you have any skin conditions or just want to iron that rinkles away. Facebook Joanne Nelson "The Devon/Torbay Stalker" caught & disgraced

Devon news of Torbay, GB

Joanne Nelson The Devon Stalker from Paignton/Torbay Cyberstalker files review: joanne nelson case of caught cyberbullies & trolls

Devon News - Devon resident Joanne Nelson stalker & cybertroll

Joanne Nelson of Paignton Dorset United Kingdom TQ3 3AB

Location: Where is Paignton?

Paignton is located in the county of Devon, South West England, three miles south-west of the town of Torquay, 20 miles south of the major city of Exeter, 74 miles south of Cardiff, and 168 miles south-west of London. Paignton falls within the unitary authority of Torbay. It is in the TQ3 postcode district. The post town for Paignton is Paignton.

Devon News have located the infamous Deavon Stalker Joanne Nelson a "troll" for over a decade. (troll: one who makes up a false name and identity to harm others)

This legal guidance addresses behaviour which is repeated and unwanted by the victim and which causes the victim alarm or distress. Cases involving stalking and harassment by Joanne Nelson of several victims over a period of a decade. Joanne "trolled" under a variety of false names to consciously attack and degrade under Lucy Blackthorne, several of her victime have come forward.

The term harassment is used to cover the 'causing alarm or distress' offences under section 2 of the Protection from Harassment Act 1997 as amended (PHA), and 'putting people in fear of violence' offences under section 4 of the PHA. The term can also include harassment by two or more defendants against an individual or harassment against more than one victim.

Joanne under her keyboard warrior name "Lucy Blackthorne" and "byk Wyrm" has been proven to be one of these venomous stalkers whereby legally has broken several laws.

The elements of section 1(1A) offence are:

A course of conduct;

Which involves harassment of two or more persons; and

Which the defendant knows or ought to know involves harassment of those persons;

By which he intends to persuade any person (whether or not one of those mentioned above);

Not to do something that he is entitled or required to do; or

To do something that he is not under any obligation to do.

Stalking - harassment which involves a course of conduct that amounts to stalking (s. 2A(1) PHA 1997)

Stalking - s. 4A (1) PHA 1997 which can be committed two ways namely:

- Stalking involving fear of violence (s. 4A(1)(b)(i) PHA 1997) OR

- Stalking involving serious alarm or distress (s. 4A(1)(b)(ii) PHA 1997)

The new stalking offences highlighted:

Stalking as a specific behaviour as opposed to harassment more generally.

Closed the lacuna when a course of conduct fell short of causing a victim to feel fear of violence but nevertheless caused a victim serious alarm or distress. (In this circumstance the police and prosecutors could only consider a section 2 summary offence).

The additional element in the new section 4A offence enable cases to be prosecuted when the defendant's behaviour falls short of fear of violence.

Affords more protection to victims of stalking.

Shocking disclosure of Joanne Nelson have come forth to The Devon News from several sources.

Stalking is illegal however, it is unethical and moreover cowardly. Joanne Nelson Torbay has broken more laws than most and it is this we are reporting.

Stalking is not legally defined but section 2A (3) of the PHA 1997 lists a number of examples of behaviours associated with stalking. The list is not an exhaustive one but gives an indication of the types of behaviour that may be displayed in a stalking offence. The listed behaviours are:

(a) following a person,

(b) contacting, or attempting to contact, a person by any means,

(c) publishing any statement or other material relating or purporting to relate to a person, or purporting to originate from a person,

(d) monitoring the use by a person of the internet, email or any other form of electronic communication,

(e) loitering in any place (whether public or private),

(f) interfering with any property in the possession of a person,

(g) watching or spying on a person.

Harassment that includes one or more of the above features is not automatically stalking. The course of conduct, assessed in the round, must fit the generally received interpretation of the word 'stalking'.

Evidence and documentation were received in The Devon News about this horrific obsessive defamation of several victims, including theft of copyright by one particular victim whom had private photographs, copywritten imagery and private information stolen and placed on line.

Another victim who contacted The Devon News from America is a transgender woman who became suicidal due to this ongoing pityful attack by Nelson. Yet another victim provided The Devon News with absolute proof of attacks ongoing over a 5 year period.

Joanne, a mother of three, broke several laws:

Section 7(3A) provides that conduct by one person shall also be taken to be conduct by another if the other has aided, abetted, counselled or procured the conduct. It makes it clear that a campaign of collective harassment by two or more people can amount to a "course of conduct". It also confirms that one person can pursue a course of conduct by committing one act personally and arranging for another person to commit another act.

Joanne Nelson was aided and abetted by others however, due to ongoing investigation by the police, we are unable to post on this issue.

A woman from Devon deliberately went on a "stalking rampage" behind the pretense of being "lucy blackthorne" whereby she told her victime to:

"kill themselves"

"lock themselves up for being a transexual and bitter remarks under her troll guise"

"she insisted to yet another victim that they were "not worth the air they breath"

The threats from Joanne Nelson were so graphic one has to believe she would never be caught.

The Devon News can only publish that which will not interfere with the legal system of the UK. However, disgust and transparency is our duty to the Devon public.

It must be truly blood chilling thing to discover a faceless stranger who wants to do you and your family serious harm, knows exactly where you live, and makes up stories and a false identity in order to do so.

On contacting a local renowned Psychiatrist in Devon he stated "One problem is that stalking requires long-term treatment, something not possible under the short periods that courts typically sentence stalkers. Society needs to know the person behind the mask, naming and shaming and to make Devon residents of the actions of Joanne Nelson.

Joanne Nelson, a mother of three, consciously took on false names and profiles in order to harm others. Society needs to better protect victims of stalkers. Above all, family courts must come to understand that intimate partner stalkers should not have any contact with former partners, should be prevented from misusing the legal system, and should have no contact with their children. We can affirm Joanne Nelson is still in contact with her children which is not acceptable in today's society.

The Devon News must inform our locals and society in general, Joanne Nelson is a threat to herself and to others. It is our duty to out criminal internet stalkers just as it is our duty to out sex offenders. Here seems to be a consensus that stalkers do have significant mental health problems, the fact that treatment seldom curbs the stalkers suggests that there is no idea on how to treat them. One problem is that stalking requires long-term treatment, something not possible under the short periods that courts typically sentence stalkers. Society needs to better protect victims of stalkers.

Facebook SCAM OUT OF CONTROL ON FACEBOOK

I joined FACEBOOK a little over a year ago. Overall, I would say that FACEBOOK has more going for it than against it. However, it does have some significant problems that are being inadequately addressed. There is a censorship issue. It is quite puritanical and is very harsh on even partial nudity. But much more important than this is the issue of scam and fake profiles. There are thousands of scammers, fake profiles and criminals that operate on FACEBOOK. There are safeguards which are absolutely necessary. But, they are not enough. FACEBOOK issues no warnings about fake profiles or scammers. At least none that I have seen. The issue, for me, is the huge number of criminals that operate on there. Why and how are they there? They range from low rent scammers trawling FACEBOOK for ITunes cards, Amazon Gift cards and money transfers through to bigger criminals running marriage and relationship scams. The scammers are both male and female. A surprisingly high number of women scam on FACEBOOK. There is a real problem with fake US MILITARY profiles. They are particularly nasty scammers, usually wanting large sums of money. They run marriage scams. There is a particularly bad problem with white women in Ghana. They say they are American students. In reality, they are white Africans born in Ghana. Descendants of The British when Ghana was a British Colony. They have hundreds of fake profiles. Different names, identities. They flood FACEBOOK. Scamming for cards and money. There are also white Africans in Nigeria that scam.My question is why is all this going on? FACEBOOK needs to take this problem far more seriously and really needs to clean it up. Scamming on FACEBOOK is not a victimless crime. People get hurt. I, personally have had some shocking experiences with some vicious scammers. I was once threatened with being shot dead because I would not send $750 US to Germany. FACEBOOK removed that profile. It was a fake US MILITARY profile. But why was that profile on FACEBOOK in the first place?. These scammers are wrecking FACEBOOK. Trashing it. Many people are aware that most US MILITARY profiles, on FACEBOOK, are fake.It is quite widely known. So, the question arises; how are they getting onto FACEBOOK? The same question arises with the Ghana scammers. The same photographs of the same women on profile after profile after profile. No one, at FACEBOOK, is picking this up? I know, just from observation, that many photographs of women on, fake profiles, come from PINTEREST.Other photographs are of porn actresses. These actresses actually have their own pages on FACEBOOK.No one at FACEBOOK notices this? It is, also, incredible to me that such obvious scam such as the FACEBOOK LOTTERY can operate freely. I have had many friends requests from FACEBOOK CLAIMS OFFICERS, concerning my winnings in the FACEBOOK lottery. I have had friends requests from Prince Harry? From Mark ZUCKERBERG himself? Dwayne JOHNSON is, apparently, giving away millions of dollars? Ellen DeGeneres is also, apparently, giving away millions of dollars. FACEBOOK really is SCAM CENTRAL. FACEBOOK says that it works better with friends. This is true.It encourages people to send friend requests and to accept friend requests. But it cannot do this, at the same time, as it allows tens of thousands of scammers, criminals, creeps, stalkers and thieves to operate. If any of these criminals are accepted, as friends, then the consequences can be very bad indeed. They will stalk on Messenger, WhatsApp and Hangout. Scammers prefer Hangout and WhatsApp because, these Apps are cheaper, than Messsenger, for them to operate on. Apply the psychological pressure quickly, tell monumental lies. Anything to get those ITunes cards and Cash transfers. FACEBOOK issue no warnings about these creeps. Some fake profiles are removed. But, at any one time, there are always thousands of them operating. As an example of how nasty and unpleasant it can get I will run through some of the abuse thrown at me when I have resisted some of these criminals. I have been called"A LIAR","A COWARD","NOT A GIVING PERSON","AN ALIEN","AN IDIOT","A FOOL","A STINGY [censored]","A $#*!". FACEBOOK should not be about this type of garbage. Oh, one other thing. Although there are a lot of women scamming on FACEBOOK, lots of these"women"are actually men. Many of the apparent single women actually work with guys.It is sometimes their husband, boyfriend or brother. Possibly, even their pimp. There are some obvious questions here. Are FACEBOOK'S systems for detecting and preventing scam and fake profiles woefully inadequate? Are they looking the other way? Do they simply not care? Do they actually like these fake profiles and scammers? People are conned. People do have money stolen. The consequences can also possibly be even more dire. I worry about sensitive people being on FACEBOOK. A favourite trick of the FACEBOOK scammer is to block the victim after they have scammed. So, a vulnerable person believes the garbage, from the scammer, about being in love and wanting marriage. The victim lays out thousands of dollars. Giving it to the scammer for various lying reasons. Then suddenly the victim is blocked. What does the victim go through? It is, unfathomable, that thousands of profiles featuring photographs of the same women, all with different identities, get onto FACEBOOK daily? As it currently stands I would not rate FACEBOOK as a safe environment. Many fake profiles feature a female porn actress named Dani Daniels(not her real name). I have had numerous friend requests and had communication with profiles featuring photographs of this person. Countless profiles feature her.In my experience the profile pretends to be an American girl, living in the US.The profile is usually scamming for ITunes cards. The origin of these fake profiles seems to be Ghana.Other porn actresses that feature in fake profiles are Aletta Ocean and Angela White. Another problem I encountered was information being taken from my profile and then being included on fake profiles. I had to take a lot of information off my profile. There also appears to be a German connection in relation to some fake profiles and scam. Recently a profile, on FACEBOOK, Took some photographs of me from my profile and set up a profile using a different name. There is also an increasing trend in the use of blackmail. A lot of apparent young single women are Nigerian or West African men. Watch for US Military profiles, American women with the surname coming first and young women who say they live with their Uncle. Also, be suspicious of young women whose mother is ill in hospital. Hacking is also a problem. My account was recently hacked. Photograph stealing. I once blocked a profile that had begun to stalk me in pursuit of money. The mother, of the profile, was critically ill in hospital apparently. The Profile appeared to be of a young black woman. A couple of months later I went back to my extensive blocked list. The profile was now a white woman.

Facebook My personal account being disabled for no reason

Someone hacked my facebook and linked their Instagram account. I have no idea what they did but that instagram got disabled, and in turn, my facebook was disabled since it was linked to it. Apparently there is a process to appeal but facebook isn't allowing me to go through the process to appeal the disabling of my account. There is no way i can contact them either. Its unfair that my facebook gets linked to some random instagram, and because of whatever they did, my account is disabled.

Desired outcome: Being able to at least speak to someone and have my account restored.
