Jegs has a real problem
WE have a real problem! I placed an order for over $2000 on November 24, 2020. Thus far, this order has been screwed up at least three times now by this Melanie LaCount with the last one being within the last couple of days. I have been lied to with regard to delivery dates for my rear wheels and for my aluminum wire looms which were both supposed to be sent out in early December Per the conversation I had with one line staff; I recently received a notice from this Melanie on 12/30/20 advising me that my aluminum wire loom delivery date is going to be pushed out until February; I requested that she cancel that single item on the order as I would get it elsewhere (I have one expected to arrive tomorrow). She responded very shortly thereafter advising that she had canceled the order; I quickly responded asking if this meant that she also canceled my rear wheels and got no response. In looking at my order today, I noticed the rear wheels are not even on the order anymore although the aluminum wire loom is still there. My guess is that she has canceled the rear wheels, not refunded any money, and left the damn wire looms intact. I call her this afternoon and her VM sounds like the same gal that lied to me in early December about the shipping dates of these two items; e.g. 12/7 & 12/12 respectively.
I am well beyond irritated at this point, I have called the bank and I can and likely will reverse the charges and less something is done ASAP. The next person I want to hear from is a supervisor and not one of your line staff. I absolutely DO NOT want this Melanie person to even touch my account anymore. I have tried to be patient and understanding about all the shipping issues around Christmas and whatnot, but this is gone well beyond the line ridiculous. If I do not hear from someone by 5 o'clock tomorrow I will spend the evening making repetitive phone calls and not be willing to spend over an hour on hold and emails until I do get a response. If I still don't get a response I will be making a trip to my bank on Thursday morning. As it stands I have cleared out my entire wish list from your website as you probably lost this customer over this.
I have invested some time into researching various reviews this evening; added a few of my own as I went through each one. Also looked into the Ohio and Idaho AG's consumer complaint process.
So much for satisfaction absolutely guaranteed! FIX IT
Oil Pan - 50200 - Defective
Defective stamping oil leaks from bolt located in front of oil filter. you can see in the product image the hole is drilled too close to the inside of oil pan. DO NOT PURCHASE unless you enjoy pulling your engine after fresh install.

I recently, well a month ago now ordered a bundle of torsion keys and shocks... or a combo or whatever they are calling it. Anyways., after waiting for it to get here, they are wrong yet again. Keep in mind I never ordered the second shipment I was supposed to get my money credited to our account after JEGS received the other WRONG parts.
So, yep... sent the second shipment of wrong parts back and got ont eh phone to JEGS A-G-A-I-N only to get more elaborate BS this time around.
In short I'll never use them again. I have been doing this along time and can't suck up JEGS lackluster performance and still pay my bills. Maybe JEGS is ok for some kid working on junk... but no way could anyone reli on them to support their business or race, I have to be in Bedford KY soon, or fix other peoples equipment.
In short this is what we have done to deal with the mighty JEGS ripoff'; we called the OHIO Attorney Generals office of OHIO and filed a complaint. We have done this along with our own attorney general. Keeping in mind these shipments often cross state lines as interstate commerce so it's also federal and we files with them too. We contacted our Card Co. and turned it in a fraud as well. We gave them our report numbers.
I mean some things... how do you screw up two torsion keys and two front shocks?

I ordered a part and asked for it to be shipped from the manufacturer directly instead of going to jegs then myself. I was told it would be and there within the week," should of asked WHAT WEEK! It didn't show up so I called customer service, ' we have it here, they shipped it to us! Again, asked for express shipping, transfer, to another to have done, was then told that the part on hand was now on backorder! After another 20 minuets of discussion was told the part was there and would be expressed and I would have it by Wednesday, Thursday came, no part, new call- after a long run around was passed to a supervisor and he assured me that the part was there and would call me on Friday and that the part would be here on Saturday! NO call, so I called again, Part Not Shipped! I have now been on hold for 30 minuets waiting for some [censored] supervisor to attempt just another "I'm Sorry" and is most likely trying to figure out what LIE to tell me next! I can only hope that this review gets to some higher ups and they fix their issues, in the meantime, there are many other part houses and I will promote those and no longer support this one due to is lack of customer service and ALL THE LIES!
In the past 1 and a half months, i have made 5 different order's. all of them have had issues.!
radiator support was dented. chrome on air vent bezels was chipped. ordered a rotating assembly said would ship in 24 hrs, i paid 2k
and then it says 3 months to deliver. i ordered inner fender well passenger side came scraped and dented. i order another inner fender well
for Driver side. received another passenger side fender well.
when i called the lady on the phone, told me, O-well its your problem...! Are you Kidding me ? Crappy Customer service!
so i would have to pay shipping 3 time on the same part $300 in shipping alone..!
