Hotelsavings.com Hidden Charges

I booked a room at a Ramada hotel believing I was on the Ramada website. Went through the booking process to get a room at $59.49 and was shocked when I confirmed the booking that I was being charged $95.20 including unidentified "fees and taxes". The total when booked directly with Ramada would have been only $67.82. Taking away the $8.33 tax, that still a $20 (30%) markup, which is scandalous when you are not aware in advance of what the final total will be. On their website in the FAQ they state that if you find a lower price on another website within 24 hours of booking, they will match that and refund 10% of the difference. So even if they do not they have still scammed me out of $20. I rang the number and the girl said I could not get money back after confirmation if I changed or cancelled the booking, which I had to tell her twice I was not trying to do. Her advice about confirmation clearly flies in the face of the info on their website. From what I've read elsewhere, this company is a ripoff. I've submitted a complaint but I'm not expecting any joy.

Hotelsavings.com incorrect booking, no refund

They are horrible. They booked a smoking room for me and my children when we clearly emphasized a non-smoking room over the phone during booking, and were assured that is what they were booking. Arrived at the hotel, to only have smoking rooms available and they said hotel savings booked a smoking room, knowing that is all they had. $263.00 they took and refuse to refund saying it is the hotels fault. I never stayed at the hotel. The hotel says this is not the first time they have seen them do this to customers. NEVER USE HOTEL SAVINGS. They lie, cheat, and steal to get business.

Hotelsavings.com Fraud

I went on the website which I though was the hotels website. After booking a received an email from hotelsavings.com. the amount of $118 a piece for two rooms ended up being $304.77. I was not happy but did not feel like fighting it.

On 5/2/14 I was attempting to check into changing my online
reservation with hotelsavings.com. while
on their link provided in their emil my son(9months old) pushed a button. I then received an email stating my
reservation had been canceled and if this was done in error to contact the
number. The email was received at 7:19
am. I contacted the number at 7:22 am
and was told that the reservation was canceled and could not be
reinstated. I then was advised that I
also would not be entitled to a refund.
I then asked to speak with a manager and was told that there was not one
available. I then attempted another
number provided at 7:29am and was given the same response but was given a
customer support email. I was told that
a manager would call me and I did not receive a call.

I then contacted Embassy Suites who advised me that they
cannot do anything as they sell the rooms to a company. I advised that I wanted to let them know
about how my situation was handled.

I then sent a email to customer service on their website
advising of the situation and either requested the service be provided or that
they refund my money. I did not receive
a response.

I then disputed the item on my credit card as I am not being
provided the reservations that I paid for in the amount of $304.77.

At this point I feel that they cancelled my reservation and
kept

Hotelsavings.com Booking was non-refundable.

I went online to HotelSavings.Com site because they advertised a good rate for the hotel that I wanted. I booked the room, received a confirmation, and the hotel has never received the booking. I called the company and they said that I could not cancel or receive a refund because the booking was non-refundable.

I just booked a room at the Ramada in Coockeysville Maryland, thinking I was booking on the official Ramada site. I was shocked to find on confirmation that the fee charged was around $30.00 in excess of the room fee, which was supposedly for taxes and fees. Seems the unidentified fess are simply a price boost cream-off for Hotel Savings. And reading the above I cannot even be sure we have a room booked. We can barely afford the proper cost never mind being scammed for the extra. Hopefully my bank can help get this money back.

I booked a room with Hotelsavings.com and ten minutes later I decided to cancel the booking. However, they told
that their policy forbids a refund. It was the first time the hotel didn’t cancel the order. Maybe I got scammed! I will
appreciate any kind of advice. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Hotel Savings and the website affiliated are all SCAMS! I booked a hotel through them when I lost my father. I told them in advance, I was not sure of the number of days I was staying but, they asked for an estimate, so I gave them a date. They charged my CC for the all the days. I did not stay all the days and left earlier as the funeral was due to weather and military conditions so we left. I called to inform them and was passed around from number to number with foreigners speaking broken English that kept jerking me around; No offense to the American citizens who are foreigners. Finally I did get an American but, he also told me that my money would be refunded if, it was not there by a certain date he gave me to call back. Well, Well, Well, yes it is deep; I have not talked to anyone since who can validate my information and often say, I do not find you in our system. Are you sure you stayed with us, or booked with us? They have with out a doubt just, refused to return my money. DO NOT STAY ANYWHERE BOOKED THROUGH HOTEL SAVINGS!

I made a reservation with them thinking they were the hotel. When I cancelled the reservation they sent me a cancellation notice. Then they billed my card. When I called them they said 'no refunds read the cancellation policy'. Called Visa who had to cancel my card, reported it as a fraudulent charge. Visa said these guys do it ALL THE TIME.

Always book direct with hotels and airlines. The few dollars you may or may not save are not worth the aggravation if an issue arises.
