This company is TERRIBLE! They take your money -- pronto -- then take their sweet time getting your stuff shipped. Took mine nearly two weeks to get to me. Two months later, one of the parts I ordered was defective. I attempted to email them. No response. Then I called and left a message. Still no response. So I shipped the defective product back to them with a note explaining the problem. That was two weeks ago. No response to that either. Now I'm out $25 with no recourse since it the charge was put on a debit card. The address they use is a PO Box. Wish I had seen those BEFORE I ordered. I would NEVER do business with this company again and would recommend that others stay away too, unless you've got money to lose.
I ordered a 1.0HP pool pump from H2O Pool Products because they beat other prices by about $30. When it got here I opened the box and the pump was 1.4HP pump. It was also not the corect type of pump. Not being an expert on the different types of pumps and the pump itself was not labeled I was unaware that it was the wrong type. But for HorsePower I knew I had the correct HP.
When I called and explained the discrepency they went ahead and exchanged it but not after blaming me for not knowing the difference in pump types. So inturn he charged me for shipping on all ends of the delivery. He stated he would not charge me a restocking fee however when I received my refund it was short the restocking fee.
All in all here is what additional charges I had to incur just to deal with this one company.
Original Shipping $ 43.29
Return Shipping $ 43.65
New Item Shipping $ 31.59
Restocking Fee $ 31.25
Total Fees $149.78
All of that on a pump that was only $120.00
When I called them the original time to exchange the first order mix up, I told him I didn't feel I should be responsible for all the shipping. I was thinking he might split the difference. No shot!
When I called again to inquire about my refund and why it was taking so long to refund my money I also gave it another shot to see if they'd be willing to split the difference. The gentleman would not be quite, and he rambled on, and on about how it was completely my fault and he was so unreasonable.
Finally here is an excerpt from my second invoice which shows that the restocking price was to be waived:

Clearly, after I spoke with him on the phone he renigged on his committment to waive the restocking fee.
***WARNING*** stay away from this "company" ... I placed order from what appeared to be a reputable website on 5/8. The site auto-generated ack. of the order, so I thought I was good to go. I checked status of the order for days afterward and saw no update or apparent activity. After about a week (I needed the parts within 7-10 days) I started to try to contact the company using all-available means (phone, e-mail, etc.) The phone voice mail tree seems to go nowhere, and e-mails were not answered, although the web site claims that "When we communicate with you we prefer e-mail" ... I was intent on cancelling my order, so I e-mailed that to the black hole .. a few days after that I noticed that my credit card was debited the amount - I had long since found another vendor so I filed a dispute to my card provider - then, after about 5 weeks, the item mysteriously appeard in the hands of FedEx at my door one afternoon - I happened to be home so I refused the delivery and asked to have it sent back. To this day, I am still dealing with my credit card debit. Stay away from this company!!!
