Epic Laser & Spa Calgary ITS A SCAM & A HELL

PURCHASED AN EPIC LASER & SPA VOUCHER APRIL 28, 2013 THROUGHT LIVING SOCIAL. REDEEMING THE VOUCHER WAS A CHALLENGE ALREADY AFTER RECEIVING THE FIRST TREATMENT SESSION THE SUCCEEDING TREATMENT SESSION WAS MORE CHALLENGING, EPIC LASER WILL SCHEDULE THEN CANCELL IT ON THE LAST MINUTE REPEATEDLY KEEP ON HAPPENING. I SENT A COMPLAINT TO LIVING SOCIAL TO REQUEST FOR A REFUND, LIVING SOCIAL REPEATEDLY SAYING ITS OUTSIDE OF REFUND POLICY, LIVING SOCIAL ARE NOT PROTECTED ON LIVING SOCIAL THEY INSISTING "NO REFUND POLICY" i HAVE READ A LOT OF NEGATIVE COMPLAINTS REGARDING THIS EPIC LASER SAYING SIMILAR BAD SITUATION AS MYSELF. IT APPEARS THEY COLLECTING MONEY FROM CUSTOMERS BY OFFERING GOOD DEALS IN SEVERAL BARGAIN SITES. ITS A SCAMMING TECNIQUE THEY'RE USING TO COLLECT EASY MONEY BY CONNIVING WITH SEVERAL BARGAIN SITES. HOPE THIS WILL SERVE AS A WARNING TO ANYONE WHO ARE SHOPPING FOR GOOD DEALS. THEY KEPT MY $125 & DONT GET ANY REFUND FOR BUYING THIS VOUCHER.

They are one the worst businesses I ever experienced.
Booking, cancelling and not showing up is somehow a routine for them. They don’t also provid
refund if you are not happy with their service.

Please Please Please don’t go to this place, even though they may have good deal but don’t let them fool you, it is not worth it.
I wish I never purchased a deal from them. I may end up just
forgetting my money because I am so unhappy and frustrated so I am not going to spend more time and energy on them.

If there was a rating lower than one I would live to give it to this guys.

Epic Laser & Spa Calgary scammer

I puchased voucher on april 28 2013 for $125 for eight cellulite and skin tightening treatments. Redeeming the voucher on my first treatment was a challenge already when I received the first treatment session then the suceeding treatments appoinments seems getting difficult & more challenging. I sent an email to LIVING SOCIAL where I purchased the voucher cancelling my voucher & requesting a refund unfortunately the LIVING SOCIAL insisted repeatedly that my request is outside of refund policy. I called the merchants several times but no response LIVING SOCIAL contacted the merchant & i was scheduled for the next future treatments but the merchants is keep on celling & rescheduiling. Searching the internet for consumer complaint regarding this epic laser is a shocked ITS A SCAM. ePIC LASER IS COLLECTING MONEY BY OFFERING DEALS ON SEVERAL BARGAIN SITES. iM ASSUMING LIVING SOCIAL IS AWARE OF THIS COMPANY BUT THEY JUST IGNORING THE COMPLAINTS OF CUSTOMERS OF BOUGHT THIS DEALS.

Yup i just lost about $200, same as everyone else. Cancelled appointments, not answering their phone and now door is locked and number has been disconnected. That's some shady business. ..

I purchased a deal through Dealfind and formed a complaint about Epic Laser. Dealfind has credit my account of $35.00, which I can use on any future deals. They have also made a note in their files that the Epic Laser has disappeared off the face of the earth. If anyone else bought coupons through Dealfind, then here's the phone # [protected]. Good luck!

I completely agree, this place took my money, cancelled all my appointments without notice, and now I try calling the phone number is out of service. That is complete ###. This is no way an acceptable business practice. I do advise everyone to make the complaining to Alberta Service, they can start an infestation and hopefully provide you with further information.

I purchased a massage through Dealfind for my mom, which expires in Sept, 2014. Mom tried to book an appt several times, however they don't answer their phone and she couldn't leave a message. She drove there a couple of times and the doors were locked. She went there yesterday and one of the other tenants in the building, stated that they haven't been there for a couple of months. There are several notes that were taped to the door from customers complaining about their apppointments they booked, but the place was closed. I phoned Dealfind and they have credit me the $35 I paid for the massage. I believe this company just packed up and shut their business down.

The exact same thing happened to me. I did purchase from them directly.
Very difficult to get an appointment. Once you got it they will call to cancel, in my case
they cited about the renovation office. I showed up the salon, door was locked.
They seem to be out of business. What should we do about this thief company?

The exact same thing has happened to me. I bought a voucher for a mani, pedi and a massage through teambuy, it took 2.5 months to get an apptment (which you can only make via emailing them as they never pick up their phone) and then 3 days before the appt they send me and email to cancel it and say that they are not doing this service any more and to get a refund from Teambuy. Which of course then teambuy says that I am over their 7 day refund policy and will only be issued teambucks in lieu. This company is totally a fraud and a scam. I mean really if you are a new company with no start-up money, why not offer these tickets, get paid for them upfront and then months later have to pay it back with no interest etc, they are totally scamming the system and making us all pay for their business.
